Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds

First, the VIP tickets were excellent. I was 4 rows back from the stage and saw it all. Mr. Edmonds is the comsumate performer that has a voice as smooth as velvet, experience to engage the audience, can deliver a mean two-step and has an amazing band. His renditions of his hits made the experience very intimate and he wove tales of love and what it can inspire you to do, to create. His command over his vocal instrument and that acoustic guitar is on expert level. There's so much to say "great" about this show. He captured my attention and sent me back to a time when songs of love ruled the airwaves. I feel great to have been able to enjoy this shiw.

I thoroughly enjoyed this concert. Babyface is one of my favorites and he did not disappoint! The concert was full of energy & passion from beginning to end. His back up singers and band were unbelievably talented and were easily able to hold the audience captive on their own. As he crooned & grooved the music took me through many of his great hits. He then took us through a musical journey of hits he wrote over the years for numerous artist. He is such an unbelievable talent. This show is a must see! I definitely look forward to seeing him again soon. ☺️

Babyface was amazing! His voice is crystal clear and he performed an incredible range of music thanks to the fact that he has written most of the hits from my past! The stories he told were a little long but they had great meaning if you listened. House of Blues was a wonderful venue and I would go back to the venue & see Babyface again!

If you want to see an artist that performs very well and then takes the time for You to get to know him...Baby Face is who you should go see. His concert was great!! He's very entertaining and down to earth. Loved the concert and would go see him perform again.

Babyface jammed at a lively House of Blues in Orlando on 5-7-2010. His show was an experience that I will not soon forget. He covered many of his own tracks, but also performed so many beloved hits that he either directly produced or was inspired by from acts like: Debarge, Luther, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, Boys II Men, After 7, Milestone and many others. Just a classic show that easily ranks in my person Top 5 concerts/shows of all-time best. If you missed it, you have no idea how amazing this night was and how the audience was eagerly jamming along with Babyface!!

The concert was definitely an A+ all the way! He sang not only his songs but also sang songs he's written and produced for other artists. By the end my sister and I were actually tired from all the dancing and singing we did! He performed for 3 solid hours and kept us entertained in between with stories about his childhood, his musical heroes, how he got his start in music, and what it was like to work with artists that he grew up admiring. I thoroughly enjoyed the show....more than I actually thought I would when I bought the ticket! I thought I would "like" the show, but I didn't know he would have me dancing for 3 straight hours! It was great! It was great! It was great! What else can I say? Except....IT WAS GREAT! Excellent job Kenneth Edmonds :)

Attended Babyface concert in Orlando on May 7 with 12 family members and friends from all over the USA. Everyone and I mean everyone said that this was a awesome concert, one of the best concerts of the year. Love the personal stories, the fantasic band and of course the amazing Mr. Face himself singing songs he either produced or wrote over the last few decades. The House of Blues venue was packed to the ceiling with women screeming their heads off, very excitng gathering of BF fans.

Babyface was amazing! I loved every minute of it! He was funny and entertaining! I want to see him again! He sounds just like the records. His voice is incredible.

This was a HOT concert. Babyface always put on a good show. It was the perfect setting, and he delivered a perfect performance. He took us back to the late 80's, the 90's, and mixed in a little of his new music. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Babyface looked amazing! The show was very high energy and engaging! Can't wait to see him again in St Loius with New Edition!!!

This was the second of a 3 day concert weekend featuring Allman Brothers, Starship, Brian McKnight, Babyface, Heartless Bastards, and Rhett Miller and the Old 97s at 4 different venues. Babyface played a perfect set with the power of Michael Jackson. Florence Civic Center had a well organized parking lot entrance system, and the venue was clean and comfortable. There is a huge flaw that cannot be ignored, when compared to other venues. $5 domestic drafts were the only alcoholic beverages offered, and this was a disappointment to my wife and I. Every venue that I have been to before offers cocktails and at least a house wine.

When I tell you this was the best show I've been to this far I mean it!!!! Eric Benet and Ledisi were amazing vocal acrobatics! I mean I was so impressed on how strong their voices are live! Then we have Mr. Edmonds this man is the TRUTH he put on a show and SANG!!! You hear me? SANG!!!! Then he got off stage and ran through the aisles and baby I was one of the lucky girls that was able to hug and hold that man! I'm 26 years old and all 3 of them are putting artists my age and younger to SHAME! My only tidbit of feedback is that at his next show I hope he does his slower songs and do songs off his new album Return of the Tender Lover. I'm going back to see him I hope he tours again very soon! The Chicago Theater was full of REAL music Saturday night!

This is my second Baby Face show and this one rocked. The band and Face killed it the whole night.

The show was Amazing! When you are with your 14 year old daughter who grew up on BabyFace and she's singing all the songs. He sang and danced and the show was much more than we could ever imagine. It was great hearing him sing the songs that he wrote. Not to mention he danced. My daughter, my husband and I had a great time for Valentine day.

He came out just as cool as I remember when I was a teenager watching his videos. He sang all my favorites and it was clear the whole room knew the words to his songs. Babyface made you feel like he was singing right to you making eye contact with the audience. His voice is the same after all of these years. It's by far the best concert I've been to in my life!

What can I say! I LOVE Babyface. You must experience one of his concerts in person in order to appreciate his tremendous contributions to the music industry not only as an artist, but as a writer and a producer of songs by the Whispers, Boys II Men, and New Edition to name a few. He does a great medley invorporating some of the work he has done for others which led to loud audience participation! Babyface is an incredible talent whose music has transcended generations. He STILL SOUNDS GREAT and looks even better. You've got to check him out for yourself.

Baby face concert was beyond good it was FABULOUS!!!! From beginning to end.

While I have always enjoyed BabyFace's music on the radio, I can't say I have ever purchased his music. That's why I was completely blown away by the level of enjoyment I had bopping along to Kenny Edmond's stellar performance at the Howard Theatre. It was not only a nice walk down memory lane, it was a reminder that he was and is a multifaceted talent, as well admired for his singing as he is for his songwriting. Thanks for a terrific show Mr. Edmonds!

Babyface put on a fantastic show. I only wished that he opted not to have 2 opening acts so that the concert would have been longer. Babyface's music is timeless and he can put on a concert alone with just his material.

Don't know if you heard my mouth but I enjoyed every minute of the show....can I get an encore. From the beginning to the end my fiance and I enjoyed each and every moment even though he would have rather had tickets for all star weekend he had fun even caught him singing most of the songs.

the atomosphere and music was dynamic. I enjoyed 112 and Avery, but Babyface did an awesome performance and I will see him again, again, again.

Mint Condition put on a great show. Bell Biv DeVoe shut it down. Can't wait to see them again. Babyface was the perfect ending to the perfect show. I absolutely loved when he ran through the crowd. This was hands down the best concert that I have been to in a long time I would def recommend seeing all of these R&B artist anytime they are in your area!!!! It was amazing!!!!

I bought these tickets for my wife for Valentine's Day. We enjoyed all of the concert but the highlight of the evening was when Babyface came into the audience singing. He walked down the aisle my wife just happened to be standing in when he walked up to her and gave her a big hug while singing. What a great experience for both of us, especially my wife. Thanks for the concert my wife will never forget!

I have been going to concerts for 40 years. I have seen everyone from Elton John to Bobby Womack. From Yes to Billy Paul. I enjoy all types of music and have seen most contemporary artist. You name them, I seen them. I've even saw Kenny Edmonds before with Maze about 4 years ago. It was his first time ever touring, but he put on a good show. But I have never seen a poor showing like the likes of Baby Face at this show in my life. He came out and sang his second song as if he had been on stage for two hours. Hollering and screaming. Running back and forward on stage and asking the audiance to sing background. Wait a minute. Let's not forget his openning act. His brothers After 7. They did not even have live music. But the truth of the matter is even they did a better job then Kenny. He spent a good 30 minutes on stage talking about girls in his 3rd grade class. REALLY! He, after singing about 5 songs of his own where he half sung and asked the audiance to help him sing while forgeting words to his own song, then making jokes about it. He began a medley of songs he wrote for Bobby Brown, New Edition and After 7. That's right! He sang the same songs his brothers had sang before he came on stage. He had a four piece band with no backgound singers. Baby Face needs to take in a Charlie Wilson concert. Uncle Charlie will show him how it's done. WORSE CONCERT EVER!

Me and some friends went to see Babyface perform at Harrahs in Atlantic City. We had awesome seats and he gave a Awesome performance. I wasn't to happy with the meet n greet it was very in personable. Wasn't to happy at all with the outcome of the meet n greet I don't think it's worth it. I have done many meet n greets in the past and never experienced this before. Overall my experience was great.

I love Face. Still do. But I was disappointed with the quality of the singing. The show was good and fun but I expected some top notch crooning and it wasn't there. The encore was nice. I'm sorry that I can't say he took the roof off.

Kenny Edmonds not only looks amazing he sounds amazing. The entire evening was a treat. His voice is better than ever. His song choices were perfection! Seldom does an artist totally engage with the crowd. It felt like he was in our living room hanging out with us and singing to us! I've been to hundreds of wonderful concerts from the Spinners and Marvin Gaye to Mariah, Sade and Michael Jackson and this show rated in my top 5. Nevermind the fact that I've always been a fan of his music...this show was truly a performance that filled the entire audience with joy. Thank you Babyface!!!!

The show was Great!! It started on time and it was very entertaining. Babyface doesn't have back-up dancers nor is he known for being a dancer BUT he worked the stage and added his own personal flavor through the use of stories about his childhood and career to spice things up. It was nice to see his personality as IMO he is generally perceived as a quiet writer type. After experiencing the show you will see that he is the exact opposite and is infact a very comical person. I was amazed at his collection of music, it seems like he wrote the soundtrack to the entire late 80's and the 90's. I wish he would have done some of his newer tracks but he kind of made up for that when he performed "When Can See You Again?" while playing his guitar. He sounds exactly like he sounds on the radio. Absolutely amazing talent and he's easy on the eyes.

Both of those men did an outstanding job for the evening. They sang on key & hit every high note. I started fumbling for my camera when Babyface came into the audience i laughed when EMT came running through the crowd because no one passed out :-) Tank was terrific. I would love to see them again in concert in the future with even better ticket seats if i'm lucky enough.

This was my first concert and it was amazing. The seats are great, no matter where you sit you ll have a great view. Babyface did awesome. Brian McKnight is coming in May and I plan on going to that concert as well

Awesome concert....played all his hits....even those he wrote for others....high energy, band and back up were excellent....walked through venue while singing, did a dupe acoustic encore...excellent show.

Babyface took me back in time, and brought me back to the future. His collection of love ballards are timeless. I will definitely see him again!

You can t limit Babyface by saying he is a great singer a great song writer a great musician or a great entertainer. After watching his concert Its easy to see he is total package.

The Tropicana was the best venue that I've enjoyed for a while. The crowd was not to big and every seat was a good seat. I will definitely return for other up coming events a the TROP!!!!

Amazing show. Opening act was good but not well known. I was a fan so I knew their songs. They sounded good. Babyface was amazing. I just wish he did a couple more songs from the new cd but the man has so many hits I can t really complain.

This show is for the grown and sexy! He performed oldies but goodies and surprised us all by performing pieces that he wrote for other artists such as Midnight Star, Johnny Gill, and Bobby Brown! He just loves the music and it came across!

This was by far one of the BEST concerts I've been to in a very long time. Brandy is one of my favorite singers of ALL TIMES. I did not sit down not for 1 minute while she was performing... And SHE SLAYED! Then Uncle Babyface came and did HIS thang. I really would see this again if it were a show near the DMV area. A small perk was a beautiful lady (I think was his wife) was standing next to me and recording on her phone as I was. She leaned over and told me he was about to run pass us. I was in shock and told me friends. When he began to walk to our side she looked at me knobbed and winked. She was super cool. When I turned to thank her she was gone. That was a great moment.

This is the second time we ve seen Babyface in less than a year! His show was AMAZING! It was good to see Brandy too. They don t make good music like that anymore! He could put on a whole show just singing hit songs he wrote for other people! Truly the OG of song writing!

I've been a Babyface fan since his debut but had never seen him in concert. Of course all of the years on TV shows and music videos had their impressions but live... Babyface definitely didn't disappoint!!! The opening act - Endure was like a street corner quartet but when the man himself came on, it was the true Hollywood production. If he comes back again.. I'm GOING!

Babyface sung some of the songs he wrote .Brought back childhood memories.He really influenced songwriting .Fantasia took the audience through a spectrum of emotions .She gave us some Color Purple , she did Strange Fruit then Proud Mary .She gave us some ratchetness , as she called it when she sang the song "Without me " .Then had us going to Church after .She is the ultimate performer

Great show by the Legend Babyface! Joe rocked the spot as well. Brandi had sound issues but pulled it together eventually. The Deejay was JUST o. k.

Bad: show started 1&1/2 hrs late Good: Babyface was lit!! He really exceeded my expectations. I was disappointed with the mic issues with Brandy but she still did her thang! Joe can REALLY sing! Great quality!! The DJ did a good job with song selections.

From Joe all the way to BabyFace I was on my feet. Each artist gave their unique talents which left the crowd totally excited.

The show was AWESOMENESS. I had come more interested in After 7 which I still LOVED but Babyface stole the show. HE WAS BEYOND GREAT. GREAT PERFORMANCE AND the medley of his songs performed by other groups. His music ruled the 90's. AMAZING MUSIC. I thought Brandy should have come out first instead of After 7. Her outfit was awful and her music was TOO LOUD.

One of the best concerts I have been too in a long time. Babyface was not only a great performer and very energetic, but he was also personable. Baby face took time to talk to the crowd and get everyone involved, singing and having a good time. He is definitely a class act will not miss him when he returns and I hope he returns. What an amazing concert by such a talented artist! He interacted with the audience, content was great and the length of the concert was 2 hours. The event location was just perfect, not too many people, very nice setting. Would definitely attend another Babyface concert and have already recommended to others that they should try to attend one of his concerts!

The show was amazing and Babyface was wonderful; he performed for over the alloyed time and did an ENCORE performance w/his guitar. He jumped into the crowd ahhhh the joys of seating that close. The crowd just loves him and I would come see him again.

I love both artist and Jeffrey was wonderful, however Babyface engineering team didn't do the best with the sounds. It was a horrible echo that overpowered babyface voice.

"Face" and Jeffry understand how to entertain! The music choices were perfect and their voices remain superb. This was a night in heaven for "old school" music. I especially loved that they both came into the audience and really interacted. I would see them again in a New York minute. GO!!!

This was one of the BEST concerts that I've gone to. Both artists are amazing, I've seen Mr. Osborne 3 times. The venue staff is amazing also. My husband and I celebrated my 3 years of being cancer free!

Babyface put on a very energetic, upbeat, concert that showcased his sense of humor. I wish he could have played and sung all night long. I was not ready for the concert to end. I can't wait until he comes again.. Oh! He still looks soooo good, sooo young, and he will turn 60 on April 10th. Wow! Time flies, doesn't it?
