We went to the show to hear music from the Band. The sound was horrible and could not understand the voices the band overpowered the vocals. It was very muffled sounding. So very disappointed. We understand that their flight from Winnipeg was delayed but someone should have come in earlier to correct the sound check. We were also disappointed that the artists played their music which was not advertised we thought we would hear music from The Band the whole evening. Also the first set was only 40 minutes

Corb as his own style, with an amazing lead guitar. A cross between country and folk music, where his songs are stories but not sappy and he doesn't lose his dog... His music is timeless.

The sound was uneven for the first two or three numbers but adjustments were made and a great show followed. Music from almost all of his records followed. Corb seemed quite into the whole show....may have been the bottle of whiskey some fans from Brooklyn? gifted him.....not that full bu the end of the show Not much new material....surprisingly

We genuinely looked forward to the Corb Lund Concert. We have all his CDs and listen to them often. Heard him in Concert at the Olympics and thought he was worth seeing again. The event at the Commodore was a disappointment. I know it was their last Canadian concert and the event was supposed to be a party; but between the Troubadours nearly unintelligible lyrics and intoxication; with Corb sadly coming in close behind them; we left under-valued and under-whelmed.

The opening act put on a great show, They really cliqued with the audience, Great Performance! Corb and the Band put on a fabulous show, the sound was as clear as could be and a Great Time was had by all! The part that ticked me off (and many others) was the fact that there was only 600 chairs when thousands of tickets were sold. There was no warning or indication that I might not get a seat if I didn't line up three hours early, how does that help older people who are not able to stand up for extended periods?I actually witnessed a young lady refuse to let an older gent(cast on his leg and using a walker)sit on "her boyfriends" chair and then boyfriend came and sat for about two minutes, after which their chairs held her purse and his jacket for the rest of the concert.

Had an awesome time at the concert! Have seen Corb Lund before & he is always Amazing! He really always finds awesome opening acts too. Everyone I've seen open for him he has turned me on to....Hayes Carll, Ridley Bent & now the Turnpike Troubadours. I applaud his talent first & foremost, not to mention his fortitude in finding genuine undiscovered talent & sharing some of his success with them here in Canada! Way to go Mr. Lund! I think Corb Lund is a great Canadian singer/songwriter & I really don't know why he isn't played more on Canadian Country Radio, all they do is regurgitate the same crap (Johnny Reid, Lady A, etc.) all day long! Sorry, I'm getting away from topic....Corb Lund & his band put on a Fantastic show as did the Turnpike Troubadours, it was a great time & I look forward to seeing him again whenever he returns.

Corb Lund played for close to two hours straight, and it was a high energy show all the way thru! He played everything I wanted to here, had to wait for the encore for Five Dollar Bill, but everything sounded excellent. The Showbarn was a pretty good location.

Corb Lund did a fantastic job. He sang just about every song he has written and during his encore he of his sang a couple of songs from his new album along with some old time country songs of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings etc.and ended with his song about writing a song on a $5 bill. In total he sang for almost 3 hours!! He was very entertaining. I can't say I was too impressed with his back up band. I liked about half his songs but the other half sucked big time. All in all it was a pretty good night. Corb more than made up for my dissapointment in the other band.

Corb Lund & the Hurting Albertans are what today's Canadian Western music is about. Original music and lyrics about life in Canada's west. Excellent and talented musicians in the band. Stand up bass was unbelievable!!

We ( 4 ladies ) went for an eveing out, the music was all I was expecting, really enjoyed his playing and the length of time that Corb Lund & his band played, the only drawback we felt was the band that opened for him, It's great to be able to go see Alberta talent !!!!
