I've seen Rickie Lee in concert about 10 times over the last 30 years. This was one of my favorites. She was in a really good mood and very engaging. And her voice and playing were at their best. It's just Rickie on guitar and piano and one other musician, Catherine Ledoux (I believe) who played violin, guitar, mandolin and a number of percussion instruments. So, yes, it was very intimate. The precision with which Rickie Lee inhabits her songs is very unique to the way she performs and she was in top form all evening. It feels like you're in her home and she's performing just for you. She has a great sense of humor, and really made the audience feel welcome. I will definitely see her again the next time she comes to Atlanta.

I have not enough words to express this latest convert by this legendary performer. Ever so graceful, Rickie went beyond to please a house full of loving and adoring fans. Her golden voice was just as pure on March 16, 2016 as it has ever been. Rickie topped off the show by sitting on the edge of the stage while singing, Chuck E is in love without a microphone. The audience loved this personal touch she shared her first commercial hit from 1979. The meet and greet back stage was very rewarding, as Rickie did everything her VIP guest wanted, even though she was physically exhausted. Never have I seen or met such a gracious host.

I've been a fan of Rickie Lee Jones since her debut album in the late 1970's. We have seen her in concert in larger venues during the 80's and 90's and have looked forward to having our Rickie back on the left coast to see her again. This year, my spouse and I are celebrating our 35th anniversary together and I was surprised with the greatest gift I have ever been given. Not only did we get to see Rickie Lee Jones in a smaller venue where the acoustics were terrific and we were within feet of her near the stage, I was totally surprised to have the privilege of getting the VIP package where we both were given "swag" bags which included posters and a lithograph of her written music (a song) from her newly released album. Rickie Lee took her time sitting with us and talking to us, listening and interacting with us and she autographed our lithographs (and anything else if we had asked) and took pictures with us. She exuded warmth that was genuine and I got a very nice hug from her and my spouse got tickled by her while I was taking their pictures. Rickie Lee was accompanied by a bright young Canadian woman named Angela Le Beau whose angelic harmonies and variety of instrument playing will make ear a star in her own right. We had THE BEST time and the most memorable anniversary. I couldn't have asked for more - Rickie Lee's voice was as glorious and as emotive now as it was when I first heard her oh so many years ago. Thank you!

She is clear, multiple; and her range: intellectual, vocal, instrumental, only increases with age. She is a treasure that is probably way undervalued but, on the other hand, that is why I get to see her in beautiful and acoustically rich opera houses in small cities. Her work will ultimately speak for itself. The new songs and versions from Balm in Gilead are fantastic. And her persona is pure delight. She dusted off the guitar and her memory to pluck the cords for a light and sweet rendering of Chuck E's In Love, and offered it as a mischievous gift for the first encore. Then a nearly heart breaking version of a song by her father.

Not having seen RL for 35 years I realized, when she walked on stage, why I sometimes don't recognize my mirror image. But her voice, unique sense of time and her ability to encompass me with her groove are still fully present. Every member of her band is truely gifted and adds to the felt energy of the music in an almost metaphysical sense. Charlie Paxton seemed a particularly creative multi tool percussionist. RL performed for and grooved with the audience for an hour and 45 minutes - with no show ruining, I got the bolts intermission. Good to see you RL.

RLJ gave us a night to remember. She offered us a combination of new and old favs. The girl sings from the heart ( and was in fine voice) and you can feel that she loves what she does. The four piece band was a subtle and soulful. The crowd, filled with boomers, who finger snapped and clapped in time as if they were in a smokey basement club. RLJ makes you groove and swoon all together. we loved it.

Rickie Lee Jones at the beautiful and classy new venue The Space at Westbury did not disappoint, not for one second. It was an evening I will never forget. To top things off, I had the good fortune to be in the first row for the first time in my long life. Rickie has the ear, voice and wisdom of an angel. To say that her varied composition and vocal styling is interesting is an understatement. I am always enthralled. Her set was mostly comprised of songs from her first three albums, my favorites. She added some covers--The Weight, Rebel Rebel, Cycles (a beautiful song made famous by Frank Sinatra).I loved them all. She was accompanied by a guitarist and cellist who I assumed to be local. They did their job and the cello sounded haunting and lovely.

March 21st at The Birchmere, was the most personal experience I've ever witnessed and felt a part of, while at a Rickie Lee Jones concert. She was more open and communicative than I ve seen her in the past. I admit, I came for the music and the experience of watching her perform her music live, with the unique precision that she has mastered and expects of her accompanying musicians, not to mention the sound man... She did not disappoint! Even as she admitted, that it was not one of her best nights. I don't know if it was allergies, a cold, exhaustion or something emotional going on in her life but she did request a tissue at one point and said her nose was runny. She did forget a couple lyrics but that was while she was taking requests from us in the audience and we were happy to sing the lyrics out to her, once we caught on. What made it so personal, was the way she was so genuinely open with us about her feelings on the way the night was going, as well as, some observations and thoughts she had about life, death and dreams. She even let us all behind the curtain of what was going on in her mind when it came to certain songs she had written. I felt fortunate, to be among the ones that were let in, on what seemed to be secrets. These secrets were straight from the source. A source that is not afraid of being honest and raw. As a fan, that made this performance more special to me than the previous ones. She maybe did not cover as many songs as I ve seen her do in the past but she was in the moment with us and with her incredibly talented musicians, Jeff Pevar and Ed Willett. At one point, she eased back and said something about Jeff doing such a great job soloing on guitar, that he should play a little longer. I think she realized we were all mesmerized with his guitar licks and exceptional talent. Ed was right there matching skills and harmonies. The harmonies! Oh my God! The harmonies! They were so on and the voices blended as if they were chosen for their tone alone and that the choice had nothing to do with the exceptional talents each musician had when it came to playing their instruments. The way they blended with Rickie Lees, angelic! Rickie Lee, whose tone of voice is and was on March 21st beautiful, along with her perfect pitch. This was not one of her best nights? Well, you could have fooled me! But I m so glad she didn t. I m so glad she took the time to share with us, even if it wasn t one of her best nights, she made it one of mine! Keep coming back Rickie Lee, your fans adore you and I can t imagine a better place to share the evening with you, than at The Birchmere.

Great show at the Birchmere. RIckie covered songs from all time periods of her career and sounded great. She's lost none of that special thing that makes her "Rickie Lee". Lost her place once or twice, but that just made it more real and connected her to the audience even better. Awesome!

Rickie Lee Jones is an extraordinary songwriter. She has zero stage presence. I'm glad I saw her once, but I wouldn't go see her again. Stay home and write great songs, Ms. Jones. Aura, however, is a wonderful venue, and I will return again for future concerts.

Shortest show I have ever seen, she bailed after playing for just over an hour after complaining about the AC and being cold. I understand you are from New Orleans but this is New England in March. Very unfortunate as she still has it all from a voice and player perspective.

Rickie doesn't just do the same show over and over - she really makes an effort to give the audience what she is feeling - and occasionally, what they ask for. You can really tell that she enjoys what she's doing, and that makes it so much more enjoyable for the audience as well. The venue was beautiful and allowed a very intimate show where she could easily communicate with her band as well as the audience. The staff was also very accommodating. My one complaint would be one I've seen before - Rickie doesn't do a very long set, and in all my times seeing her she hasn't come back out for an encore. When she's done, she's done. But despite that, or maybe because of it, I always make sure to get tickets when she comes back around again.

I was extremely privileged to see this lady when she came to Paradise, a couple of months back, for the second time. She was in fantastic form. One of the best performances I ve seen in a long time. She s not lost any of her edge. She didn t hold back, said what was on her mind without being preachy (having or revealing a tendency to give moral advice in a tedious or self-righteous way). Her back up crew was the best. The night was magic. I m so glad she asked the audience if they wanted to sing her song or if they wanted her to sing. There is a point where one wants to hear the performer sing and not someone who wants to show that they know all the words. She asked in a very gentle way. Thank You. The place was three feet off the ground. To the bad reviews, She may not have gotten good vibes, maybe she was not feeling a connection to the audience that night and pulled the plug. For me, a truly memorable show. The whole show was one blissful moment. I don't need an encore.

I've listened to Rickie Lee Jones for more than 35 years and this was my first opportunity to see her live. She played 75 minutes and at the end of a ballad, got up from the piano, bowed and left the stage. No words. No encore. Nothing. House lights on. Her show left an entire audience somewhat confused and disappointed. I'll always be a fan of her writing and voice and wish I could recommend seeing her live, but I can't.

The first thing Ms. Jones did was insult the crowd by indignantly saying, "this sure is an affluent part of Florida." While the crowd sat stunned at her demeanor, she started to play and snicker and look to her percussionist for direction. She finally just walked off and the lights came up after about six songs. I'm trying to get my money back!

This was my fifth or sixth time seeing Rickie Lee Jones in performance. I don't go to these performances as a devotee to a personality. The draw for me is that she never disappoints. The consistency of quality in what is vocally and instrumentally conveyed never wavers. For me, it is always a surprise when others don't seem to recognize that when you encounter something this incredible it's best to shut up and listen. In spite of the noise, I got my fill.

I am a longtime fan and looked forward to this concert. But apparently the artist didn't feel the same and just walked off the stage without any comment or thank you to the audience for some reason. She played for about an hour and then just ended concert by walking off. The house lights went up after audience was clapping for at least 5 minutes. Very unusual and disturbing as her voice and band was excellent. She seemed to have a bad attitude from the start, mentioning with disdain that the area was very affluent and that the audience must be rich. Oh well. We are not from the area or rich, just that I had been a fan since the beginning and traveled to see her and paid a top price for the seats. Won't recommend her to anyone. Buy the albums and don't deal with the personality.

Rickie Lee was in wonderful form, her voice a beautiful instrument. The only sour note was her abrupt goodbye. She was at the piano, stopped playing, stood and walked across and off the stage, and that was that. Other than that, she created a wonderful show.

Went to see Rickie Lee Jones at the Ponte Vedra concert hall last night 12-9-2017. The concert lasted 80 minutes and she walked off the stage without an encore. Ricki's singing voice sounded good but a slur was noticed in her talking voice. Alright enough! How do you not do CHUCKIES IN LOVE ! Really ! This one hit wonder had a condescending tone to residents of the area. Do not waste your time ! P.S I go to about 25 shows a year and this is my first time ever complaining about a show.

The entire set was an hour and 15 minutes. Most of the lyrics were hard to understand. I don't know if it was her or the microphone. We heard Kris Kristofferson at the Rose a few months ago and could hear and understand every word. It is a good venue; fairly small, good menu, drinks not too expensive. I would caution you to be careful purchasing tickets. The chart is somewhat misleading. After we were seated, and expressed our disappointment with our tickets, the manager came to talk with us and moved us to a closer table. He also comped a round of drinks. It turned out to be very good seating, thanks to him.

This was a wonderful, intimate concert in a jewel-box of a performing arts theatre. Rickie sang Last Chance Texaco, Chuck E, Coolsville, and Easy Money, et al. She engaged the audience with a few stories, some of which may have been true. Her cheer onstage seemed to be boosted by the enthusiasm of the adoring audience. She played both guitar and piano with stunning supporting artists on bass and percussion. Really a nice show. I'd go back to Cohoes any time to see Rickie Lee Jones entertain!

I, like so many fans of Rickie Lee, adore her music. She's nothing short of a genius storyteller and musician. I've seen her about six times now and really only one of those shows was, to me, what it should have been. That was a show that involved a very large band doing faithful versions of her entire first two albums. Rickie has a long reputation of being a surly, stubborn and somewhat reluctant live performer. While I think it's okay for an artist to advance their newer material, I think they also owe their paying fans their best performance and to some extent shared input on what songs are played at the show. Fans, I'm sure, want to hear your biggest hit (Chuckie's In Love) and leaving it out of the show, whether intended or not, communicates to your fans "I don't really care what you want." They also want an encore, when they are out there standing and cheering, and not doing one smacks of arrogance. That being said, that was not really my beef with this show. My complaint was that it was just plain musically sloppy. Rickie admitted on-mic that they had not rehearsed and in one case "I don't really know the lyrics to this next song." Covering these songs with just a trio that did not include a bass player, is a difficult task. It could succeed with some serious rehearsal and planning but that was clearly absent here. I'm going to stop investing money in these shows unless I see that it's a full-band effort. Too many of these smaller set ups with RLJ have consistently been sloppy.

You could not have asked for a better musical experience than this concert with Madeleine Peyroux and Rickie Lee Jones. Although their music and performance style were quite different - I wondered how this evening would fall together, in fact - there was one strong tie between the two. A magical connection to their art that they passed on to and shared with their audience. I will, however, never attend a performance at the Arlington again. In the past, as with this evening, concert goers were constantly interrupted by late comers. In addition, the noise from the lobby was annoying as the doors were opened to let these late comers enter. Since the Arlington serves alcohol, most of these people just lingered outside in the lobby too long to enter on time. Late and loud. So disrespectful to the performers, as well as the audience.

Gave this concert 4 stars overall. 3 stars for Ricki Lee Jones' odd behavior and failure to connect with the audience that night. Her strong vocals and musicianship on the guitar and piano were spot on and there were some high moments when she performed some of her older material. However, she introduced her guitar player by the wrong name, did not know what town she was in, walked off the stage inexplicably after one song, was difficult to hear when she did speak, and dropped the F bomb after a microphone malfunction. No encore and no Chucky's in Love, but this appears to be the norm based on other reviews. Maybe she was not feeling a connection to the audience that night, but she did not seem to be happy being there. 5 stars to Madeleine Peyroux for an excellent, intimate performance. She was in fine voice, funny, entertaining, and engaging. She performed quite a few new songs from her latest CD, Secular Hymns, all of which still had an air of familiarity, as the CD is comprised of traditional songs, albeit with unique Peyroux arrangements. She also performed some unexpected gems such as the Beatles' "Getting Better," and a haunting rendition of "Danny Boy". A gentle jab at the Democratic Party with her take on "I Ain't Got Nobody" drew some laughter. Contrary to another reviewer's criticism, I did not hear her utter any other political commentary that night. Scottish Rite was a perfect venue for this unique and gifted singer.

Madeleine Peyroux was great. She should have come back out and let RLJ take a nap! Rickie Lee seemed to be in a fog, and not quite with it. At one point she walked off the stage and could be heard telling the guitarist to get out there...which he did, and he and the percussionist did a great jam until RLJ came back. We wont be seeing her again.

It really helps nourish a performer, those new or old, when a great venue is provided. Show opener was new to us, was AWESOME, but went a tad too long. Segway into Ricki Lee Jones portion was fabulous as the baton passed from Madeleine Peyroux through a duet. Ricki Lee seemed her old self & can still belt it out!

Madeleine and her combo were awesome. Just awesome. Great musicians!! Rickie Lee Jones was very erratic, dropped the f-bomb, walked off stage unannounced and her singing was disappointing. I try to respect talented musicians who have been playing for years but her show was downright uncomfortable to watch. My husband and I left early. I thought she might have a meltdown. It was a shame, whatever was going on with her.

Madeline Peyroux has a very nice voice, reminiscent of Billie Holiday, and a good sense of humor. But she performed from a chair, sitting, which in many cases makes it harder to draw the audience in. And her set was painfully too long. Her back up on guitar and bass were very good. But for God's sake stand up! Ricky Lee was a major disappointment! I had seen her perform in New York about 40 years ago, The act the band, the songs, were energetic, Rickie was brilliant! Not tonight! You could hardly understand the lyric's, none of the popular songs were performed, and she acted like she was doing you a favor! The irony was that her voice was as good as ever, but the performance was awful!

First, I thought Madeleine was the main act. That's how it seemed when advertised. Apparently, she was the opener. Rickie Lee Jones (who????) was the main act. We didn't realize this until the 30 minute intermission. Yes.....30 minutes. BTW....the intermission or the length of it was never announced. We found out from the security officer standing next to us. Madeleine only sang 2 songs that we knew. The rest were obsolete, unknown and her own made up stories. The political comments were unnecessary, not welcomed and should have been left on her living room couch. I'm not politically sensitive so they weren't enjoyable regardless of your party affiliate. Plus....we aren't sure Madeleine took a shower prior to the show. She looked pretty ratty. Madeleine brought Rickie Lee Jones out for a duet just before intermission. It was painful. Watching Jones was like watching a female Mick Jagger. She looked strung out and struggled to entertain. We left at intermission. Poor show. Very disappointed.

Awesome show at a awe-inspiring historical and great-sounding locale (we had second row seats!!!) where she sounded just as incredible as she does on her albums, maybe even better. The cliche of aging like fine wine comes to mind, & that not only applies to her fine voice but also for her impressive musicianship especially on acoustic guitar. I really like the way that she told stories between each song and the way she played most of the songs off of her classic debut album. I only have one and a half complaints about the show. Everyone would agree that it was a bummer having no encore which is one legitimate complaint, and my nitpicking minor half-complaint is that I wish that she had done more songs from my favorite album of hers, which is "Flying Cowboys". Sadly, the only track performed that night from it was her classic song "Horses".But she's not some kind of jukebox, so I would rather she plays the songs that make her feel her best and she feels closer to, those songs are just my own personal favorites of mine that I'll go see her again one day when she comes back here and I'll hope she plays them. Still, I've seen to more than 100 concert acts while living here in Hawaii & her's was in the top 5 - a truly memorable show. The artists that were better by my perspective? (and by the way - she might have beat them all to the top spot on the list had she done an encore) In order from best down - The Stones, Neil Young, Earth Wind & Fire, Aerosmith. I hope she comes back real soon so she can get a shot at moving up my list!!!

I've been a RLJ fan for decades and was thrilled with the opportunity to see her after all this time in such an intimate venue. She has such a unique, amazing, soulful voice. It's suffered a bit with age, as we all experience, but when she sings the emotion is still there. However, she doesn't always sing. She started the show almost 30 minutes late; she never came out for an encore; she wobbled around the stage unsteadily and started stories she forgot the endings of. Her two backup musicians didn't seem to have a clue as to what she was going to do next, and often added instrumental accompaniment that seemed totally foreign to the song, like they were simply looking for excuses to show off all their toys. It was disturbing and personally, I wished it had just been RLJ solo--that was where the power lied, even though she kept us waiting and didn't seem to be entirely all there. Those musicians played entire solos keeping the audience entertained until she appeared or rejoined us--and no, I do not think it was an intentional part of the set list. It absolutely came off as damage control. One guy looked panicked and uncertain as to how to proceed. I enjoyed the show, but left feeling rather sad and curious about RLJ's health.

Ms. Jones was in voice and personable. An amazing talent. Would have liked to hear some of her stories of past days,,, but I'd guess there will be a book at some time. Enjoyed the percussionist most songs. I'd guess the bass / keyboardist / horn player is a recent addition as there were some missteps. Great venue, and not a bad seat. Disappointing that there was no encore. Apparently that is common, so we just considered it one of her quirks.

Rickie Lee has been on my bucket list for years. Finally in Nov 2015 I traveled to Wolf Trap Park (about 9 hrs. away from home) to see her for the 1st time. Fabulous show & venue. Them I saw that she was coming to Atlanta & my son & his family live there so...road trip. I took my daughter-in-law. WE drove thru a residential area to a very eclectic little area to find the show in an old theatre & again the show & the venue outstanding. next time Rickie please a little Moonlight on the Hill from the GhostyHead album

LOVED! LOVED! LOVED! IT! RLJ is an astonishingly important part of American music, and I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to see her perform live, and at this late stage of her career, she sounds AMAZING! Hasn't lost her voice, her composure, or her ability to pull you in and keep her with you through each and every song.

I have seen Rickie Lee many times before but the concert at Parker Playhouse was MAGIC. She was in fine voice but even more, she was relaxed and in tune with her audience. Playing a mix of old songs and new ones from her most recent release, she kept the audience enthralled. Thunderous applause followed each song.

I have been a fan of RLJ for years. When I got the opportunity to finally see Rickie in person, I was very excited, but person who walked out that night was arrogant and moody. She even managed to throw out a veiled insult about Folsom, California. Then there were the continued f-bombs, like she's proud of overusing the word. Ha ha, funny -NOT! For the most part, I enjoyed the music, particularly because she has assembled an excellent band. She is also a very good musician, both on piano and guitar. Throughout the concert, which lasted less than 90 minutes, it seemed like she was having some issues with the monitors on stage and got angry. Based on her demeanor, I don't think she's somebody I'd want to be around. Then, as we all stood and cheered and cheered, the house lights came on and NO ENCORE. It felt like a real slap in the face. Did she punish the audience because the monitors were not loud enough???? Sheesh! I guess you take a risk any time you go see a performer you enjoy. For the most part I have always been happy I went. In this case, I wish I had not because now I know she is not a likeable person.

Rickie Lee Jones' performances are memorable because you never know what to expect. Whether it was some of her Eighties chestnuts (Weasel and the White Boys), standards (Hi Lili Hi Lo) or the songs from her latest album, she dug into them with aplomb, backed by a tight group of musicians from Montreal. The Regency Ballroom was certainly a most intimate setting but the concert was not without some issues. The show started over 30 minutes late. There were some serious sound problems at the start and Jones' vocals were almost inaudible. And the venue is old. Floor seating consisted of wooden chairs that were intolerable after 45 minutes. Ventilation was almost non-existent. It was great to hear Rickie Lee again, but the venue made for a sweaty and uncomfortable experience.

Changing the venue at the last minute, while understandable, caused a number of issues. As a result, both the audience and Ms. Jones appeared on edge, which decreased the quality of the experience. Personally, I was happy to have another chance to see her at the Ark, which is a great venue for her music, but things were pretty suboptimal in many ways. The stage was only barely big enough for the band, including her piano. The sound was hard to keep well adjusted, which is unusual at the Ark. The audience was crabby and difficult. It didn't help that the show started over 15 minutes late, also unusual for the Ark. There were no initial announcements about photography etc., so many people were taking pictures. Over the period of the show, Ark staff started trying to stop people, which was very disruptive. I think the last song of the encore saved the experience overall. It was one of her standards, and was beautiful. The music overall was great-- her new stuff is very good, although very bleak.

I have admiration for Ricky Lee Jones' talent...her songwriting and story telling are amazing and she still has that quirky voice that we all fell in love with in the 70's. Her band was wonderful and really held the whole show together because honestly, Ricky fell short. She seemed off and distracted and possibly drunk?! The line up of songs was sporadic and she left the stage abruptly after a not-so-great song and then her band followed. Per usual concert protocol, we all stood up and applauded loudly and after a few minutes, the house lights went on. Hmm. This, after a last minute venue change (from The Michigan Theater to The Ark) just left an overall bad impression.

Rickie Lee Jones put on a sublime performance. Her voice remains amazing and utterly unique. She and two others created an incredible amount of music -- beautifully arranged and masterfully performed. I saw her 20 years ago at Carnegie Hall and her voice is just as startlingly stunning. I thought she did a great job of balancing favorites with newer stuff and even some experimental covers. I would highly recommend this show for anyone - I took a friend a hair older than me who remembered only a few songs and one who is younger who had never heard of her and both thanked me and thanked me. She's a stellar musician and I was only sorry that so many in the crowd were older folks. I think she has a lot to offer music lovers of any age - because she's a remarkable musician with so much wisdom, soul and artistry to offer. Definitely catch her if you can.

A trio of beautiful musicians, cello played gracefully by Ed. Sal on guitar, anf Rickie Lee at guitar and grand piano. A full house of hard core RLJ fans hung tightly on every note played. We heard heavenly harmonies and perfect blends. RLJ seemed hushed and a little sad as she gave her full efforts on stage. She did not like the kick back of the sound which she quietly complained vocally About through out the hour snd forty-five minute show. I asked Sal if Rickie was feeling ok. He said we have been on the road for awhile and She was not pleased with the sound. I have seen RLJ three timed at VP But this time she did not return for an encore and she did not come out Back by the bus to give autographs like before. There were four Of us waiting to see and talk with her for a sweet moment in time.

Really was looking forward to seeing Rickie Lee live. Oh well... Started 25 minutes late and didn't come out for an encore - even with an enthusiastic and supportive audience and even though she talked about bringing her dog out on stage. She didn't play much of her new stuff and her classics were well-done, but she seemed to be in an "altered" state. Not having seen her before, maybe that is just her. I had heard that she brought a tremendous amount of energy to the stage. It wasn't evident on this night.

I've had the privilege to see Ricky Lee Jones twice, both at the same venue. The most recent was as good as the first. Her voice remains strong and soulful. She brought the crowd to their feet several times. She brings an uncompromising passion to her music, which brought tears to my wife. Her version of "Sympathy for the Devil" was the best I have ever heard. The Variety Playhouse is an ideal setting as the acoustics were outstanding and there is not a bad seat in the house. If you plan to have an adult beverage be sure to bring cash.

When someone in the crowd told her she's still got it, she replied "Where else is it gonna go?" Great vocals and show, but failure to do an encore was very disappointing. Small venue on a rainy Sunday night resulted in less than full house, so perhaps that was it. I have never been to a show where there was not at least one encore. Left a bad taste in my mouth after an enthralling show.

We had never been to the theatre before. We really enjoyed the show there. The acoustics were incredible. We had the best seat in the house. Rickie Lee Jones rocked the house with all her good oldies like "Chuck E's in Love", "Flying Cowboys", "Skeletons", "Living it Up", but she also delivered two killer covers at the end: "It Was a Very Good Year" and "Sympathy with the Devil"- electrifying cool. Thank you, Salina. We'll be back.
