Location, pricing, environment were all spectacular. Pricing for food and drink are overpriced, especially for a minor league ball game. But did not take away from experience.

Simply outstanding! The Aventura Performing Arts Theater is a beautiful tucked away well designed stage just perfect for Jose Luis Rodriguez Flamenco Guitar and Orchestra. The seating atmosphere is close and intimate to the performance, people are friendly - from the performers a smile and from the audience a thrilled applause. While waiting for the start I spoke briefly with Alex Conde composer, jazz and flamenco pianist who did the arrangements/orchestration...he was videoing the performance and was setting up his GoPro...he showed me a video of his wife swimmimg under water, afterwards we talked a little of things San Francisco, where they live, I was there long ago and glad to smile about memories. Seems this kind of meeting can happen here at Aventura...more a reason to go. And I was very happy to see and be able to say hello to Damaris Ferrer, director of Cultural Arts Exchange (Bailes Ferrer), her dedication and hard work in bringing Flamenco music and dance is unsurpassed...I admire her so greatly. Throughout the entire performance my total concentration was on Jose Luis and his guitar and Antonio Camunez percussion...unbelievable, amazing...but that is just me, my likes, where my attention goes...I loved the orchestra...congratulations to all on a tremendously enjoyable great presentation!

Abosultely amazing to see a band I thought I would never get to see again. As much as I love Kung Fu and the other sides, I like these boys that much more. Before the show I was worried that it had been too long, and they would be terrible and sloppy. Wasted worries. Unforgettable show. I hope they come back and play more shows as Raq.

Petula Clark has always been a favorite entertainer of mine. Her 'Greatest Hits' album is filled with great songs, and her latest album -- released last year, around the time she celebrated her 85th birthday -- is a brilliant combination of covers and brand new music. Her concert last Saturday at the Casino Seneca Niagara Bear's Den included songs from every phase of her career, beautifully performed. Petula's voice is still beautiful, and her performances are stylish, heartfelt and lovely. She connects immediately with her audience and takes them on a journey from her beginnings (Downtown, This is My Song), to her films (two fantastic songs from Finian's Rainbow), all the way to her latest album (Living For Today). Hers is no sad, melancholy, end-of-career farewell tour. Instead, it's a vibrant, positive affirmation that truly great talent knows no age. My wife and I were grateful for the opportunity to share in this wonderful performance. Petula Clark is not to be missed!

Well, what can I say...this was a great show! I have seen Roger many times in Texas (where I'm from). Now that I live in New England, I was so excited to find him playing close by. The venue is small and intimate which was great. It probably holds about 200 people. Roger & the band played a great show. Great energy and amazing songs! We were even treated with Roger's dad joining him onstage for 'Rancho Grande'. Good stuff. Roger is a great, high energy live performer. Honestly, his CDs don't do him justice. Live is where it's at! Don't hesitate to go see him if you have the opportunity. The only complaint I have is that the show was too short. Only 1 hour since it was an early show...I was just getting warmed up! lol! But seriously, worth it - even for just the 1 hour. I would do it again in a second!
