Enjoyed it but it needed more Elvis Presley's and John Cash songs

We've been to Sun Studios in Memphis & watched Sun Stusios TV series on CMT. This made it all go full circle. The muis was grest. The actors did a great job, except for Elvis. He was a disappointment. The Jerry Lee Lewis & Johnny Cash were spot on with their inactments. Same manerisms as the real singers. I also liked that the was not an intermission. If you love that era of music or are curious, this is the play to see.

This is my second time at Genesee and it was as great as the first and now I have 2 more shows I purchased Tickets for. I also recommend if your are going to sit in the lower section stay in the single alphabet the overhang can cut off your view depending on whats happening on the stage.

EXTREMELY TALENTED YOUNG MEN! IT WAS A GREAT SHOW AND I WOULD HIGHLT RECOMMEND IT.

This was my 2nd time to see this presentation - different cast. Although I thoroughly enjoyed this show, the guy who played Johnny Cash on the other performance was a "better fit".

The show was a historical perspective of how these four country legends got their first real start in the music industry, and how they happened to come together one day in the studio to jam and share their music. The performances were really great! The story was memorable. In the end we were on our feet dancing and singing at our seats. We'd recommend anyone of any age to see it. Going to Nashville to experience the country culture first hand would help as well.

We have seen this incredible show three times(NYC, Rochester NY & now here at Turning Stone) and when it does come back locally again, we WILL return for #4!! Simply said; the acting is first rate, the singing feels that if you were to close your eyes, you would swear "you are listening/hearing to the real Elvis, Carl Perkins & the man in black, Johnny Cash" & once again, the actor portraying Jerry Lee Lewis steals the show with an unbelievable musical performance! Whenever you hear that this TRUE story about these four musical legends is coming to your town/city, do not hesitate to go to see it; you certainly will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

My wife and I enjoyed the show immensely and thought all the players were excellent. There was one standout performance and it was the young man playing Jerry Lee Lewis, not only did he look like Lewis he sounded like him and his piano playing was absolutely fantastic, I just wish there was a program so that we might learn the actor/players names

Million Dollar Quartet is without a doubt the best show ever ! ! ! BUT Revention Music Center sold a lot of seats that had VERY LIMITED VIEW ! ! !

The music was amazing! Everyone involved was spot on. It was almost like seeing them all in person, as close as I can imagine.

The show has a simple premise. One night in December 1956, four soon-to-be legends of rock n roll meet up at Sun Studios and end up making history with a little jam session. Sam Phillips, the founder of Sun Records, dubbed them The Million Dollar Quartet. This little quartet consisted of Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. The show is a fun walk down memory lane with wonderful music and a little bit of a history lesson thrown in for good measure. I enjoyed it from start to finish. The entire cast was wonderful. If the show comes to a town near you, don't miss it!

My third time seeing this performance and I will go again when they come to a venue near me. The talent of the performers is unbelievable! Great story line and awesome music. Such talented musicians.

Very difficult to understand the actors lines. Probably understood about 25%. Singing was average.

It's the story of an amazing night where four incredible musicians came together at Sun Record on December 4, 1956. I loved how they tied the music and the story together with insight and humor sprinkled throughout.

My parents and I loved the show. The performers were high energy, fun to watch, and talented. Loved the story line. The length of the show was perfect also.

This show was fabulous! The four main characters were outstanding. I would highly recommend it to everyone of all ages. The only thing I'd recommend is that it should be longer... 1 hr 45 mins wasn't enough!

Fourth time I have seen Million Dollar Quartet. Twice in Vegas (the best), once in Indy and now Muncie. Seemed the mic for the Elvis character did not always work the best so his performance was a bit below expectations. GREAT actor for Johnny Cash and high energy performance by the actor for Jerry Lee Lewis. Then there is the Carl Perkins character. Always seems to be the least featured but a great, great guitar player and performer. Highly recommend this show and so very glad we took our daughter and her friend to see it for the first time. They had a great time too.

Great music and interesting story. I did not know much of the true life story that inspired the musical. Also did not realize how many great songs Carl Perkins had recorded.

This show is an oustanding musical performance. Entertaining and first rate in every song throughout the performance. Any rock n roll fan of any age needs to see MDQ.. The songs are riveting and the show is one of the best I have seen in a while. Can't think of abetter palce to see this than the NJ State Theater in New Brunswick but i would not miss this anywhere. If I get the cahnce I will be seeing a return engagement somewhere..you can't beat Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis playing in the same room.. the finally had everyone on theri feet dancing and singing along..

Great show. The musicians were fabulous. Very talented. Good choice of songs to represent each star.

Bought tickets and took my parents. We all loved the show. Best moments: looking at my dad's face during the musical performances and seeing the huge smile he had!

This is the second time seeing the show (last year at Proctor's). What a great story, show and energy! The songs are well-played and the show well-acted.

This show was fabulous! Loved that it started right on time! The set was spot on, as well as the costumes. Jerry Lee and Elvis blew me away!1 I was dancing and singing in my seat the entire show. I wish it had been more than one night, as I would have come back.

I saw the show with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Very entertaining with a very talented cast. I'd highly recommend it.

Million Dollar Quartet was a great show. I enjoyed the history behind that night and all the artists were amazing. They brought a piece of history to life.

This was a truly enjoyable performance. The only thing I did not like was at the beginning some of the performers were drowned out by the instruments.. You could not hear them. It got better as it went along. It was educational as to how this event happened as well as the background to Sun Records.

We had seen this show years ago and a similar one recently.The singers did a good job of recreating the stars on that night in Memphis. The "Johnny Cash" didn't sound like a baritone when he spoke but when he sang, he was pretty close. According to history, Elvis' girlfriend was not a singer so I'm not sure why they make a point of having her sing in the show, but she was talented, just not needed.

Waited a long time to see this show and the wait was worth it. Great energy and totally enjoyable.

If you saw the original production in Chicago you will be disappointed. The storyline is slightly different and the cast is not nearly as talented. If you are a first timer you will enjoy it as the music is toe tapping and the performance lively, and based on a true story. But for me, not up to par with what I saw in the past

I saw the show at a casino venue used to having rockstars and the like and there was plenty wrong with the venue. The performances, however, were so stellar that I forgot all of the bad things that happened and had the time of my life, as did everyone else who I talked to about the show. The show-goers all had their phones out and the folding chairs on the floor were too close together. (I weigh 220 pounds and was seated between two men both nearly double my size.) The show was preceded by some amateur carols (including 'Silent Night' translated into the Choctaw language) which I found to be sweet, odd, and overall cute. But the performances were stellar, especially those of Elvis, his (oh my god, gorgeous - talented - and again, gorgeous) lovely girlfriend, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins. The scene stealer was the bass player - I kid you not. Spotlights were errant often, and mic cues were missed seldom - but for one night? An amazing performance. I would suggest seeing it if it tours near you.

Disappointing!! Was expecting more songs from the likes of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, & Johnny Cash. Too much Actor talking and not enough music songs.

Definitely worth time and money to see. Great performances by those portraying the music legends.

We have seen this production in Vegas and this was every bit as good. The performers were exciting; the production was beautiful and the music fantastic. And BTW: Congratulations to the Choctaw singers. they were wonderful and we were so pleased to hear them and speak to some of them following the show!

A little slow. Too much theatrics and not enough of the playing of the actual music!

Enjoyed the show. Was interesting and kept my attention all through the show.

I watched all these guys at the times that were presented in the show. I applaud the actor that played Jerry Lee Lewis. He had the man down to a tee. The only two good things one could ever say about Jerry was he could sing and play the piano. Elvis Presley was my guy. The problem with imitators of Elvis is they work so hard to do his movements, and facial expressions that they come off fake. Elvis once gave an interview in which he said, I don't know, when the music starts, I just can't be still. Facial movement, even Elvis didn't play Elvis all the time. My advice to anyone trying to be Elvis,should watch and learn Elvis. You either have the rhythm or not. I came to be entertained, not talked to death. I came to hear music and stand up and sing and shout. Only the last song, could we stand up. There was no break in the performance for the audience to stand and re-coup. That made for a long show. I also didn't appreciate the cursing in the show. It looked to be a hard job for the actors for just one performance.

Million Dollar Quartet was an awesome show. Performers were outstanding. Presentation was memorable.

We attended the December 1st show with some friends. We all thought the show was excellent. We loved the details of the story and how it was retold. The music and singing was exceptional and we absolutely loved it. Great job by the entire cast. If you are a fan of the music of any of these artists, you will definitely enjoy this show.

Was an unforgettable experience, and would go again if given the opportunity

show was good, the venue seating was very small in the lower level 101 The opening act of Xmas singers was lacking and overall terrible. The female actress in the million dollar show played too big a part in the show and was over dramatic With the acting and singing parts in the show, ugh The show is about chance meeting for 5 legendary people not her....

Saw this show in Vegas in a small theater & it was great. The giant GSR theater loses the feel of the show, the sound was off (couldn t hear Johnny Cash), jumbo screens were often out of focus. Really ruined the whole show. Wait until you can see it in a small venue.

...not worth $175.00 a ticket! The music was OK, the musicians OK. I had greater expectations, I guess. :/

Amazing Concert better then expected loved the fact that they shared the History of the music revolution. Everyone of the actors were fantastic they played their role very well. Hope to see more of these performances

What a wonderful Memory; to see the million dollar quartert; Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, and or course, with Sam Phillips. Again and again I am reminded what a vital part of life music is; what a mark on all lives "rock and roll" has made. So glad we did have this opportunity to relive that time.

The show FAR exceeded my expectations. #1. The Sun Records story was very enlightening. The instrumentation by the players was far superior to many shows I have seen. Actually this was the best show I have seen this year.

I attended with two others and we all loved it. It was funny and the music was very good. We would definitely see it again!

This was a fantastic show. All the actors were so talented. The music was great. It kept your interest. The acor playing Jerry Lee Lewis had him down to a tee! We all loved it.

Sound was the biggest disappointment. Shrill and often too loud. The performers voices were just average. An Elvis personater would D have been closer. I saw this in West Palm Beach. This was inferior but my main concern was the bad sound system.

The show was good but I had to hold my hands over my ears whenever anyone sang. I actually screamed when the first song began because the volume was such a shock..

Singing wasn't good,,,I seen this show at other places and this show at Seneca Allengany Resort & Casino wasn't good. Sorry to be critical but I seen that show at other places

Song selection good, impersonators mostly good--sometimes no so good. Never figured out who the woman was supposed to be. Would not go to see them again.
