I am a big golf fan, but a venue such as this is limited. Unlike full field golf events, there are only four or five groups on the golf course at a given time. Therefore you cannot see a lot of golf and it s very crowded... and you have to go several holes in front of the groups where there is no one playing to then wait and see players come to you. But it is a historic event... and as a golf fan I do recommend it knowing that you understand the limitations.

Even with 4 days of soaking rain, loads of mud and large crowds, I would not have missed this for a minute! We were blessed with no lightening, and the crowd as a whole seemed to take the nuisance rain in stride.

An exciting and amazing event to see majority of the great american and international golfers in one setting and most of all, in a more relaxed and fun atmosphere! Very well organized event and very impressed with Harding Golf's conditions. I hope the condition will stay and be kept up even after this event!!!!! Would love to see a tournament at Harding!!!!

I arrived early and stayed until closing. The atmosphere was electric and this was just the first practice round! I witnessed the best golfers on the planet go through their paces as they prepared for regular competition to begin on Thursday. Simply put, it was a memorable day.

Great day at Harding. Weather was great, setting is gorgeous, amenities are first class, and many of the bleachers are placed so that you can view two holes at a time. I'm looking forward to another visit on Friday.

The event on Tuesday Practice day was great! I could easily see each player since the crowds were smaller. I only wish I had known I COULD HAVE BROUGHT MY CAMERA for the practice event. Ticketmaster, website, signs, all said NO CAMERAS, but when I got in I saw a lot of people happily taking pictures. I wish I had known that cameras are allowed for the practice event! Other than that, it was a picture day, on a beautiful course, viewing relaxed, smiling golfers.

Was a good experiece to be so close to the pros on a day when they were having a good comfortable time. The only 'issue' is the parking... all parking tickets were sold out and yet the lots were less than half full yesterday... too many 'package' sales on parking that the users know they will not use, or use only for an hour or two. Having to 'commute' without the use of a cell phone (NO cell phones on the course is a GR8 rule; however, makes for being dropped off/picked up difficult) The pros didn't come out to play after lunch on Wed, i had over 4 hour wait to the start ceremony and it would have been great to have a car/parking available to the practice day parking... suggest do NOT let practice day parking be part of any package.

We had a great time. A once in a life time experience. I took my son, he is in the First Tee Program. I think though they should have had an area for the kids to get autographs where there wasn't adults pushing them out of the way to get their own autographs. Also, maybe future events, if the kids are part of the First Tee programs in the Bay Area, they could show their cards and maybe have one of the golfers talk with them for about a 1/2 hour. People were friendly, staff was great! Me & my son made a memory this day.

The day was exceptional. It was a birthday gift for my grandson. The weather was perfect the play was great. The course was beautiful, the skyline was beautiful. My only negative was that there were no grandstands for the "common" spectator at the 14th green where the presentation was done. There was plenty for the VIP'S!!!! Tickets were not "cheap" there could have had some grandstands for the public.

From the venue to the quality of golf, this event was amazing. The setting at Liberty National Golf Club is indescrible with some of the most iconic symbols of NYC and the USA captured in the background. One can't help but be in awe of the course, and enjoy the up close and personal experiences with the golfers. The first tee grandstands on Sunday were filled with energy and a true spirit of mutual respect for both teams and fans alike. It will be hard to measure up to this Presidents Cup but the 2019 event sounds like a great start!

First time at a Team Golf event, and enjoyed every minute. Liberty National Golf Course is so picturesque it really takes your breath away and to see the best golfers from the USA and world (less EU) was spectacular. I opted for the Captain's Club, which was definitely a good decision. The facility was very well done and provided great views of two greens. Food was amazing too... Sushi, vodka and golf, why not. An unexpected bonus was seeing our President at the trophy presentation. The security couldn't have been better, while being very respectful of the fans in attendance. Next up Ryder's Cup!

My President's Cup experience was terrific. Liberty National Golf Club provided awesome views of the Statue of Liberty and New York City skyline. Seeing all the United States players up close was special. Got some phenomenal images. Concessions were a little pricey but excellent choices. Volunteers and security were all nice. One snag.... my waist pack fit all criteria for the PGA Championship in Charlotte. Tuesday (our first day), my friend and I were told to take our bags back to the car. Then we got on the shuttle bus. All information printed from the website indicated that what I had was acceptable. I did buy a clear plastic bag at the merchandise shop Tuesday and had no problems getting through security Wednesday. Also, all general parking was in the garage across from Newport Center Mall. My friend printed up the prepaid pass for Tuesday and Wednesday, saving money each day. We were not told to park on the top level. When exiting Tuesday, the gate would not go up. We had to get an attendant to let us out (no one manned the booth inside the garage). Wednesday, we could not get out again. Finally, a very kind woman named Raven (she was an attendant-we pushed the button for assistance) stated that she will walk to where we were. She was able to manually let us out. Needless to say, we were thankful for Raven going the extra mile. My friend (who was driving) was very frustrated up until that time, especially since we still had to drive 1 1/2 south to his house Wednesday. Please give Raven all the kudos and credit for providing the BEST customer service. Apparently, more than a few people were confused by the parking information. Overall, the experience was outstanding. All volunteers were well-informed and one even provided a program for purchase (best $5 spent that week) so that we didn't have to wait in line at the merchandise shop. By the way, we made quite a few purchases in the merchandise shop, which was well stocked. Thank you!

The food and drink concessions were not very well planned out. At other golf tournaments, there are separate concessions for beer, soft drinks, and food. The lines were long and slow. Many ran out of food or only had hot dogs. You shouldn't have to wait in one line if all you want is a soft drink or water.

Vendors were slow and one vendor ran out of hot dogs sausage and PB&J with probably about 100 people in line. Other venues in same course/same day had food still, so found it odd they couldn't cart more food to this tent, as many people would have to walk few hundred yards to next tent for food.

The event was great and the course great BUT THE CAPTAINS CLUB SEATING STUNK!! View would have been great and all but ,they had seats inside and upstairs as well for viewing the par 3 10th.. So we were up stairs and sat down and waited for 3 hours for all the players to come thru, only to have tons of people stand in front of us up top by the railings!!!! Paid $1700 + for 3 days to not be able to see!! Security didnt do anything!! How did this happen?? Security told us they were told to make sure no one was standing on seats thats all.. People like us were standing on the seats because we couldnt see! If they made everyone simply sit in all the seats provided then everyone would have been able to see including the people hanging over the railings! Instead there was 90% of seats empty and security telling people over and over and over again to stop standing on seats! Was a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY paying xtra for the captains club area to not be able to see!!We deserve money back for the difference

The info that would have been helpful was for instance: you could only arrive by shuttle. Additionally, I was required to put my drawstring bag in a locker for $10.00 while many others strolled around carrying backpacks and purses, that was unfair and frustrating. I have a few pictures to prove this.

Course was beautiful. Actual sinks in makeshift bathroom trailers. Good viewing on players. Would have given 5 stars except for parking signs on Turnpike had us turn off 2 miles ahead of where we were suppose to get off of with nothing about "volunteers" only. Sat in traffic for at least 35 minutes to just be told to turn around and go to mall parking lot where we were going to go to from the start if it wasn't for those early exit signs. The mall parking was a breeze and so was getting on the bus. Next time, make the signs clear that parking is for volunteers only. That would be really great.

Transportation logistics were pretty poor. Event parking in downtown Jersey City created hours of unnecessary gridlock, wasted time getting to and from the course and additional 15% to ticket cost. Course was difficult to navigate with too little spectator seating. Turned a happy event into an exhausting slog. The exceptional NYC views from the course were a redeeming point for the venue.

I was apprehensive about attending a golf tournament in Jersey City, NJ. Especially since I grew up in the area and remember what Hoboken and Jersey City were like. But what a surprise. The course was a gem and the tournament fantastic. The PGA has an amazing organizational staff that handled the throngs of golf enthusiasts without a hitch. The transportation buses from the parking areas were clean and comfortable and ran on time. I have been to about a dozen PGA tournaments but this one was the best.

The course was beautiful, the routing was very weird. Routing made it a bit difficult to get around. However, the worst part was the Captain's Club (CC). I attended on Friday. The CC was packed and clearly overbooked. The set up was poor. High stools on the periphery so anyone with lower seats inside had no view at all. And there could have been larger TVs to see the action since the view was not good. Food lines were awful, long wait (and many people thought there was one long line when in fact there could have been four). Even if the lines had some signs explaining the so-called system, the food was not ready. There must not have been enough cooks or servers or something. They should have looked at how beautifully The Masters handles food! We paid a substantial premium for use of the club and it was not nearly worth the extra cost.

You purchase tickets to the event in December 2016, then you wait nine months to get your online tickets. This time without parking info. When you know where to park its always 10 miles from the venue. Golf is a rich person's sport, you would think that the parking would be easy. You will never see me again at a PGA event. When I arrived at the President's Cup and was told that I had to park at some mall I turned around and went home. This is the fourth time that this has happened and it will never happen to me again. Please accept my $214 dollars as a donation.

VERY NICE TO BE ABLE TO CATCH UPDATES FROM MULTIPLE SITES ON THE COURSE. UNFORTUNATELY THERE WAS DISCONTINUITY (TIME DELAY) WITH VIDEO BOARDS AND CITI'S VIDEO LINK VIEWER AND RADIO SO MOST OF THE TIME YOU SAW A SHOT ON THE BOARD OR VIEWER AND WOULD WAIT A VARIABLE AMOUNT OF TIME BEFORE RADIO ANNOUNCERS WOULD CATCH UP WITH COMMENTARY ON WHAT YOU SAW.

This was our first experience attending a President's Cup. We bought tickets for two relatives to atttend with us. We were disappointed by the lack of services for handicap individuals, the food selection and the condition of the pedestrian walkways after it began raining. We waited over an hour for buses to the handicap parking lot. There was a lack of breakfast food and the selection of lunch food should be changed over the course of the event. The Captains Club was over sold and hundreds of people tried to get into the Club when it started raining. You need to work on making the event more fan friendly as it appears everything is about the players, and not the fans.

First of all having specific seats was nonexistent. We took our chairs but those standing were allowed to stand in our way as their was no crowd control. Then we tried to get food & stood in line for over an hour only to be turned away when we were almost there. We didn't understand why the opening ceremony was in downtown Columbus instead of closer to tournament venue. We were very frustrated with the entire evening.

Interesting pre-show foods, stilt people, and stage presentations which represented the countries of the International team as we'll as the U.S. The ceremony started with an entrance and a few songs from The Best Damn Band In The Land - The Ohio State University Marching Band. The opening ceremony was awesome and a historical event to be part of. That was followed by a great fireworks display, and an hour and a half concert by Rascal Flatts who have roots in the Columbus area. An absolutely wonderful and memorable evening!!!

Parking at the zoo and shuttling to the course was managed poorly, long waits for busses. Marshall's handling of picture taking situations was rude and unnecessary, when will the PGA give up on the archaic rules, every other sport has no issues with cameras???? Walking the course was troublesome since there were so many vehicles moving around that you were continually being asked to step aside to give way to golf carts and other vehicles. Seemed like every tournament worker had there own vehicle and it was a real pain given the format of this tournament. Many of the on course drivers were rude and didn't seem to understand that spectators are CUSTOMERs.

I bought tickets through Ticketmaster and on the tickets it showed a Section, Row and Seat number, I assumed we had reserved seats for this event. That was not the case. I was very disappointed in what the $30 ticket provided. The only bleacher seating was first come first serve and was as far away from the stage as you could get. If I would have know, I would have brought my folding lawn chair and sat much closer to the stage and not bothered with the tickets I bought through ticketmaster. Not enough food & drink service the lines were very very long most of the evening. Entertaiment in the small side stages left much to be desired. The ceremony and concert were great though, as well as the fireworks.

There was not much to improve upon. Course was great. People seemed to be having a good time. The only negative was the parking arrangement, particularly the drop off arrangement at the course. There were plenty of buses to transport with very little waiting either entering or leaving. The problem was the drop off area. There was nearly 1 mile walk from the bus to get to the course. The first couple hundred yards is through dusty gravel to get through the "Fan Experience" area. I don't understand why it could not be closer to an admissions gate directly onto the course. Clearly they wanted to force the crowd through the "experience" area, but most people were not interested anyway. This was a lot of unnecessary extra walking each way.

Wish I had not paid extra for the CC tickets. Nothing very special. Thought food offered would be like the Club house at the Memorial with the buffet, very dissapointed when they offered only sandwich type offering. Only plus was the elevated 2nd story that gave a view of 10th green. It was the proverbial drinking hole sports bar. I must say that the Handicap facilities were the best ever, much better than the Memorial. I have 2 bad knees and my wife has a heart condition, so the HC shuttles were a god send. Whom ever was responsible, THANK YOU. The lay out of the Tourney facilities and amenities were top notch. The course was immaculate in ever detail. What a beautiful place to just wander around, not to mention the golf.

Don't bring your cellphone. They will not let you take your cell phone in even if it's on vibrate. You check it in at the gate, and it's left on a table out in the open with hundreds of other cell phones. Worried about the security and privacy of my cell phone the whole time. Would have left it in my car but would have had to walk all the way back and forth. No in-and-out privileges so when my husband accidently left his wallet in the car, we were not allowed to leave and come back. Luckily I had a little cash on me. What are we? In high school???

We thought the event was teriffic because: The course was beautiful, great to walk, easily accessable from the city and still had a remoteness to it: The mass transportation was handled very well: Our opportunity to get up close to all the players, see their shots well and keep up on all the other matches at the same time was greatly enhanced by the video screens and radios. Finally, the city is a great place to visit and enjoy the sites and great restaurants.

One of the best experiences I've had at a public event. Everything was organized professionally and operated very smooth from the moment we stepped off the BART train for the bus bridge to the event and back to line up for the bus ride back to BART. We attended on Thursday and Friday, only. The concessions operated without a hitch as far as our party was concerned. One recommendation was to split the soft drink and food concession lines from the beer and wine service. We heard too many complaints from others in the lines that it was taking too long to just get a beer. And we were getting tired of hearing their very loud complaints. Great job overall by the event organizers.

I always enjoy seeing professional golfers in action. We arrived via a suttle from the Daly City BART which was a great way to go. When we got there we went to the first tent to get a cup of coffee and they WERE OUT; and this was at 8:45 a.m. I thought that was a little early to be running out of coffee. Anyway we went to another tent and they too were out of coffee. I finally got coffee at my third attempt, but it was only warm. We were at 15 waiting for the groups to come through, so we thought we would grab lunch. We went to the tent near 15 and they only sold Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches. What is up with that??? I enjoyed the golf, players, etc., but I felt the organization left a lot to be desired. We decided to go to the Award Presention which was to take place 1/2 hour after the last match was completed; however it was more like an hour plus that we had to wait. Again the organization I felt was lacking. Overall, THE US GOLFERS & THE INTERNATIONAL GOLFERS WERE GREAT and we enjoyed watching them display their talents.

Course was beautiful, competition was intense, players were great- lots of great golf!!! Would do it again anytime!! Seeing Tiger's fans trample each other to run from hole to hole after him was priceless. That was a circus. Poor Tiger. But he was amazing to watch along with all the guys out there. FYI: Best parking is in advance over at the university parking structure- $35 flat and only about 200 ft away.

Except for the weather (the forecast called for 'sunny and warm'), which was slightly windy and rather cool, it was a great day to watch golf! The Harding Park course looked awesome and well groomed, the grounds were configured nicely, but they needed more bathrooms 10-25 minute waits are not acceptable. The golf tournament was great and it was exciting to watch these professionals try to master a surprisingly difficult short course.

I took BART from Lafayette to Daily City where I found numerous free shuttle buses lined up to take us to the course. The transportation both to and from the event was seamless. I purchased my tickets on line from Ticketmaster and that also was convenient. Access to most locations on the course was good and very good close-up views of most of the players was no problem. The only negatives were the usual: the food was expensive The earliest mass transit (BART) along with the process of gaining entry to the course got us spectating two hours after the gates opened. I really missed seeing the pros warming up. After the team competition the previous two days, it seemed that the players I watched on Sunday did not look like they wre enjoying themselves.with a few exceptions. Lastly, I found no list on line outlining what was a prohibited item to take into the event. This slowed entry to the course once you arrived. Otherwise, this was a stellar event played on a course with decent visibility from several hole from one location. We tried the bleachers late in the day and wished that we had made more use of them. If you want to catch all the action, I would recommend binoculars and a periscope for following the more popular playaers. We had neither. I would certainly go again if I ever get the chance. Boy, are those guys good.

We really enjoyed Harding Park and the golf! The shuttle service was terrific and comfortable. Despite the 25,000+++ crowd, it was pretty well organized. There were lots of restrooms, concessions were busy. Being there on Friday was good because it was sunny and warmer than going on the weekend. The only drawback was exiting the park at the end of the day. But that was alot of people all leaving at the same time. The park was beautiful and we had a really great time!

I thought the organization of the event for the viewers was wonderful. The pricing for the concessions was reasonable. The friendliness and helpfulness of the tournament personnel was very good. I thought having the television big screens around the course a helpful addition. I would have liked to have had information about not bringing in the bag for my folding seat up front before I brought it. I could have arranged a method of carrying the chair without the strapped bag.

The event was very well organized and it was a lot of fun seeing all of the players in person. Too bad the sun never broke through the fog - it was a chilly, but amazing day!

Was lucky enough to be at the 17th green when Tiger sunk the amazing put to turn his and Stricker's morning match around. Electric! Worth the price of admission!!!

The President's Cup was great golf! Inspite of some 25,000 fans there at Harding Park, the golf tournament went off in an organized and exciting fashion. The thrill of watching the 12 best golfers (at present time) in US battle against the 12 best international players is surely a memorable treat.

All in all a great day on the course. Lines for checking in & out cell phones was outrageous. I know they said cell phones weren't allowed but if you didn't bring your car and took public transportation and made a day in the city out of it you still had to bring the phone.

Wonderful time! The only problem being no food brought in. So, if you have any special dietary needs bulk up before you go in.

It was fun to see all of the best players in the world in one place. Hard to decide who to follow, but not the best idea to follow Tiger. Too many people with only 5 groups on the course. If I had it to do over again, I'd go during the last day when they are more spread out for singles play. One thing, I think the Tour needs to teach the people inside the ropes some manners. On several holes we would have been standing beside the tee box for a long time waiting for a group to arrive so we could see them up close. Then a bunch of the bozos "observing" them inside the ropes would walk up and just proceed to stand as a group right in front of us. Without even the courtesy of an excuse me. Really poor etiquette. Absolutely inexcusable. They easily could have stood in areas where they wouldn't have blocked a single spectator but were not interested in figuring that out. Anyway, it was a good day overall.

The President's Cup is such a wonderful oppportunity to see 24 of the BEST play! There is no other golf event where you get to see these players up so close in a competive but almost casual way. My whole family loved it!

The President's Cup is a wonderful opportunity to see 24 of the World's greatest golfers. They all seemed to be having a lot of fun. Harding Park was an excellent course. The only draw back was the narrow bridge we all had to cross at the entrance to the course. It caused a huge line after the match. It was a fun time.

I don't think it is a grate or even good course for spectator view the game. Not enough stand seating.. I did enjoy myself being able to see the players up front and close.

Being a golfer, I understand not being able to enter the course with cell phones and cameras. However my girlfriend had one apple and one Powerbar, both of which had to be surrendered before we could enter the grounds. I guess the idea is to protect the food vendors, however it seems very "bush league" to me. I have not attended any major golfing event with those requirements.

THE PRESIDENTS CUP AT HARDING PARK WAS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE FOR MY SON AND ME. THE PLAYERS ARE FANTASTIC, GREAT AT GOLF AND GREATER AT LIFE. TRUE ROLE MODELS. THE COURSE WAS OUTSTANDING, THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE TICKETS AND PARKING PURCHASED THROUGH TICKETMASTER AND PRINTED ON MY HOME COMPUTER COULD NOT HAVE BEEN EASIER. THANKS FOR A WEEKEND WE WILL ALWAYS REMEBER.

I was very disappointed with the Presidents Cup. I went on Monday to get autographs from the players. The whole event was very disorganized from the beginnning. Not one volunteer knew where to go for autographs. We could not get a map of the course for several hours. When we finally found someone wiith a course map, the players had started practicing. We started asking the players for autographs and we were told by the players they could NOT give autographs until they were finshed. We were told to go to the 18th hole and wait. When the players were finished they walked off the 18th green and would NOT give autographs. I will not attend another PGA event. We went to the Solheim Cup this year and had a wonderful time. We were not snubbed by the players.

Overall the President's cup was a very enjoyable experience. However there was definitely room for improvement: 1) IPOD's were not on the prohibited list. They were taken upon entry. Very weak. 2) Video boards were of poor quality. Couldn't pick up the balls on puts from stands. 3) Not enough seating capacity on many holes. Otherwise a well run event. It was a pleasure to see the Cup come to Harding Park.

The PC was a great tournament because the spectators can get close to the world's elite golfers. I was standing shoulder to shoulder with Ernie Els and Mike Weir, as they talked strategy with Frank Nobila, the International assistant captain. Michael Jordan was standing next to me on several holes, as he gave encouragement to the US players.
