We are 21 Year CMA members. I am still a touring musician at age 63 but we have lived in Las Vegas for the past 20 years. When Carrie Underwood sang her song for the Las Vegas shooting victims I lost it. I have never been so emotionally grateful, touched, or moved in 21 years of attending the CMAs. Thank you CMA for remembering our city.

CMA sets all of this up perfectly. This is my wife and my 21st CMA Awards Show and I have been a member for 21 years. We feel at home with this event annually at Bridgestone. We do miss the days at the Opry House but Ticketmaster makes the purchasing easy.

I was lucky enough to get tickets to attend this year's 50 th CMA AWARDS SHOW.... It was INCREDIBLE to see so many SUPERstars and to hear them sing... BUT, the Bridgestone Arena REALLY 'dropped the ball' by NOT having the JUMBOTRONS broadcasting all the time. They were basically ONLY on when people were ACCEPTING their awards and NOT for the actual MUSICAL performances. I had good seats in the 200's section, but, I feel like I really missed "SEEING" the show. ( I enjoyed actually 'SEEING' it MUCH BETTER at home on my DVR! )

The CMAs are always amazing. It's THE country music event of the year. Country music and a little bit of glitz and glamour combined to make it an unforgettable evening. It is the best way to catch all your favourite artists live, in one place at the same time!

The only reason I gave this three stars is because our seats were awful! We were in section 330 which was practically on the ceiling of Bridgestone and about three football fields away from the stage. I had binoculars and was still unable to see. Next time, I will definitely get seats in section 310 or across from 310, or better yet I will splurge and get seats at least one level below. It will definitely be worth the extra dollars.

We have enjoyed attending these live events. They are a great chance to see a number of our favorite country stars in one place. Seeing some of the country stars getting their awards and their reactions are great. An example of this was when Miranda and Blake received the award for favorite song. The emotions they displayed appeared very real and sincere.

This was my fifth time and it was by far the best show. Carrie and Brad outshined previous years. There was a good mix of music; traditional and new. The performances by the artists far exceeded my expectations. Even the exception speeches proved to be true and from the heart.

This was an absolutely great show. We enjoyed the performances and seeing all the stars immensely. We had what should have been terrific seats in section 115, row MM. They cost nearly $500 each with fees. So imagine our surprise to discover that the view of center stage and the right stage were obscured by a telescoping camera boom. If our seats had been a few rows higher or further away from the stage this would not have been an issue. This was very disappointing and we will no doubt just watch the show on tv in the future.

I loved every minute of the show. I think Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are perfect hosts. The chemistry between them is perfect. The jokes they do are timely and very funny. Every star that performed did a great job and the variety of acts was great. I always enjoy the tribute to a past country star, such as Glen Campbell this year. It is great that I could bring my camera and take some photos for my use as a remembrance. This is always a show I eagerly await tickets going on sale as this is a great birthday present to myself. Can't wait to go again next year. I wish the doors to the building could open a little earlier than just 1 hour before the show start as I would have waited and purchased food there instead of having to get food before I got to Nashville, not knowing what the traffic would be like coming from Murfreesboro. But the facility was easy to get to. The parking was actually better than I expected by using the Pinnacle garage. The experience overall was awesome! I had a lot of friends who were jealous. See you there next year..

I would definitely recommend going to see this event in person. I chose to go this year because it was the 50th anniversary but I would definitely go again. It was well worth the money spent of the tickets. It was basically a 3 1/2 hour concert. Granted it was not non-stop music but the hearing the performances in person was so very neat! Of course we couldn't necessarily see all the special effects but that is why it was recording on my DVR.

This was our first time. We were impressed with the quality of the production and the Nashville environment. We were also impressed to see many of the performers pay tribute and honor the veterans, especially those that went out of their way to shake the hands of the service men at the red carpet and thank them for their service. It was also nice to see those performers that took the time to acknowledge their fans.

As a long time country music fan I have always watched the awards show on TV but this year had the opportunity to see it live. It was an amazing show that was a gigantic country music concert with the industries greatest stars performing......... who won the awards was secondary . In fact that is what I wanted to see..........great performances. All the performers are winners in my book, so who actually won made little difference to me.

The show was spectacular and unforgettable. The only negatives were that the doors didn't open until 6 PM, with a LIVE TV show time of 7PM. Not enough time to get refreshments and settled in. Second, while the TV audience showed commercials, the stadium showed old clips of musicians I did not know and songs I had never heard.

The cma is supposed to feature country music but the only true country song performed was a duet with George Strait and Alan Jackson "He Stopped Lovin' Her Today". The show was mostly pop, rock, and wrap music. An entire different genera. CMA needs to rethink its awards presentation. Country and wrap equals indeed crap!

Being at the CMAs and seeing how the award shows are produced and executed was a great experience! However, there was a camera next to us that blocked the view of one of the stages and I think that the tickets were actually VERY over priced! The seats would have been great had the camera not obstructed partial viewing, but still priced a little high.

The CMA awards were great! My husband and I enjoyed the show. However, we paid $250 each for our seats and the seats were terrible!! They were in section 114 and everyone in front of us and on our entire row were complaining about the view with the price of the ticket. I recommend you do not sell seats in that section at high prices. You did say limited view of stage but it should have said only half view of stage and no view of middle when stars enter to present awards. We were very disappointed in seats for price of ticket!!

This is an amazing event & I enjoyed it very much. The only problem I had was my seat. For the price I paid, I do not think it's too much to ask to be able to see the entire show. Didn't realize until the ticket was printed that I had "limited view." This meant I could see only the performers that were right in front of me. The others I could only see from the neck up if I was lucky. Couldn't even see the presenters & the closest video screen was behind me well above my head, so in order to see it I had to turn completely around in my seat. From the looks of the seating chart, it appeared I had one of the best seats in the house. Definitely know better next time!

Great show! The performances were great in addition to the awards presentations themselves. The sets and scenes (backgrounds) were beautiful and added a lot to the feel of the show. We also liked the movement of some performances out into the audience. We were a little unsure of start timing however with the 6:15 pre-television segment. What was it to be, when should we have been in our seats, etc.

The variety of stars was the best aspect of the show. The sound was not very good for several of the performers. Good fact to know: If you go to the restroom or concession, you cannot renter the seating area until the "NEXT COMMERCIAL BREAK!" It would have been nice for the ushers to inform the patrons of this fact.

It was like being at the gala event of the decade. the southern belles, were all decked out, guys in tuxs. met a few starts personally. Just simply wonderful, I would say this is a once in a lifetime event for most. I was truly surprised at the CHEAP prices for T's etc. 25.00 is cheap today. the stars were the who's who in country music, some zany (miranda) some plastic (reba) but most down home folks. I would suggest this to everyone, from rockers to old country jug blowers.

The show was wonderful with an amazing group of stars. Hats off to the small group of people who make this happen. There needed to be monitors around the center of the arena. The seats in my section were terrible. Crammed in like sardines. No monitors in the center of the arena which made vewing difficult or impossible from the upper seats or areas away from the stage.

I fulfilled a dream by attending the CMA Awards. It didn't let me down. I had good seats, good company, and all my favorite stars performing. It could not have been any better.

This was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I'm 26 and I grew up listening to country music and to hear Loretta Lynn perform live and in person was amazing. All of the stars were amazing. Our seats were pretty good considering it said limited view. It was something I will take with me and remember for the rest of my life...and I will be attending again next year...with even better seats...and probably every year after that. Absolutely amazing experience. Everyone should get the chance to go at least once in their lives.

Event was great! seats were not Zack Brown is awesome live -LADY A also -better than others. WHAT is up with KID ROCK?? he DOESN'T BELONG on the CMA stage!! He had the largest set, most musicians, most backup but was TERRIBLE! SQUALLING, SCREECHING "trying to be a rock star"!! - AWFUL! WHY does he keep getting invited????

Highlights : Kid Rock's song choice, Taylor Swift's snow, Little Big Town's presentation song, Brad Paisley's emotional win of Entertainer of the Year, Loretta Lynn, Keith Urban. Vince Gill as usual is awesome, The Band Perry Lowlights: Reba's "IF I WERE A BOY" was so random. Gweneth can sing---we just all felt she was "twanging" it up so much, it made her fake. Also, there were entirely too many ballads, only Kid Rock and Keith Urban had an uptempo song. ballands are boring

I was extremely excited when I was able to get tickets to the 44th annual CMA awards. I always love a chance to travel to Music City, especially in November when it begins cooling down in the northeast, where I'm from. As always, Nashville was great. Although, as expected, prices for everything were inflated during CMA week, so I could only afford to fly in Tuesday, stay two nights in a hotel, and fly back out Thursday. The city is all a buzz during CMA week, so that makes going out on Broadway and other places fun. I've been there sometimes when a couple of the smaller honkytonks had no body in them. Now, as for the day of the event; On Wednesday morning, we walked downtown for lunch and decided to stroll over to check out where the red carpet would be later that night. It turns out that the red carpet was the length of a city block in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame. However, it was underneath an entirely closed in tent and barriers were set up on the opposite side of the street. At 1pm, there were already about 3 dozen people camping out by the one point of accessibility: the entrance to the tent. We went back, got ready, had dinner, and headed out for the awards show. We decided to check out the red carpet anyway, even though we knew it would be packed. It turns out that they shuttle the stars, in dark tinted SUVs, down the street to the entrance of the tent, where they get out and enter the red carpet. As we got there, Lady Antebellum arrived in their SUV. There were about 15 rows of people in front of us, but I'm tall and was able to snap a photo over their heads, though it wasn't the best quality. Eventually we just gave up and walked inside. I don't know if it is because I am tall, but the seats in this arena always feel cramped to me. We were in section 118, so we weren't dead center with stage. The lady beside me had turned her body in her seat to face stage; perhaps causing my cramped feeling. As we neared television air time, it felt more and more like a television set. Announcement would come on stating things like "30 seconds until live" and "Please take your seats, we have cameras in the aisles during the next performance." Also, during commercials, everyone gets up and walks around. And some people, it seems are just there because there job is making them, and they sit and talk during the show! I guess I'm more of an "all about the music" guy. To me, this event felt too scripted, and rigid (which I understand it had to be because of time constraints on TV, etc.). But it was definitely not the way a concert feels. The great thing about this event is that you get to see just about everyone you would ever want to see perform. Yea, it's only one song, but still. What if that one song is Loretta Lynn singing "Coal Miner's Daughter?" Now that is something I never thought I'd see live. The one drawback is that during the performances, the camera crews walk in front of the artist to provide great shots for the television audiences, but effectively distracting the live audience. Everyone talks about all the stars you'll see in Nashville during CMA week. I had tickets to the show and barely even saw them anymore than I would have by going to their shows. Overall, it was a good experience, but not one I would do again (unless there were some kind of special access passes involved). This is more like a "been there, done that" type of event. Check it off my bucket list. I guess I expected more for my $300+ per ticket. Trust me when I say this people: Stay at home. The couch is more comfortable, it's cheaper, and the view is better. The only thing you'll miss is the lousy t-shirt.

I've been to 4 CMA's now and it was the very best for sure. 2009 comes in second. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Was so happy to see more and more people dress up for this wonderful event.

Where else can someone go to listen to country stars like Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Sugarland and Rascal Flatts, and more LIVE! The expert set changers (on two different sets) worked at amazing speed and with professionalism. Count me in for the 45th CMA's!

It is very unsettling to a true Country Music Fan to see what has evolved over the last 45 years of Country Music. No-one will ever make me believe that Country Music was given a fair rap during this years event. I understand that it takes money to make things keep going, but please let some of the young "real" Country artists have a shot at the field that is so watered down, generic, non-descript, music, and shove it down the throats of intelligent people, and call it "Country Music". I never said that the talent wasn't good, I said that it wasn't Country. So why put these acts in-place of Country acts, Put these acts where-ever they belong, Don't you folks ever do any poll-taking to find out what we really want. I know that this letter will go no-where, but, at least I've spoke what I feel is really on the minds of millions of your viewers. Good Day!!

I was so excited to get pre-sale tickets and spent $500.00 for 2 tickets to have good seats for my daughter and I. Unfortunately, we would rather of been sitting anywhere else other than where we were! Our seats in Section 107 were blocked by a performance stage wall and we did not have a view of the show most of the night. Extremely frustrating after all the money I spent and considering how excited we were for this show. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend these seats for any price. They should just block this section off. We would like to attend the CMA event again, but I will be more precise when it comes to seating.
