Buckingham McVie- wonderful show by these talented artists. So professional in every sense. Absolutely loved their new music, even better live. The old songs from Fleetwood Mac blended nicely along with the new material. Go Your Own Way is always a fan favorite as it seemed everyone was on their feet celebrating this terrific song from Rumours. Lindsey opening with Trouble really showed the gorgeousness of his voice. Favorite new song- Red Sun. Favorite moment of the night : Lindsey tearing up the guitar on Im So Afraid, he absolutely masters that song. Well oiled machine this band is, along with an excellent back up in Brent Tuggle and a fabulous drummer who tore it up during Too Far Gone another favorite from their collaboration Buckingham McVie. Christine is amazing too! Love that we have new music from them, a rarity in this day and age from some people that have been in my life for forty years. Go see them if you can you won't be sorry!

Great! He is still great.. She is good but past her prime. Location of seats was great. Actual seats are poor in this venue. Old and uncomfortable.

I have seen many different versions of Fleetwood Mac members over the years, aside from the 5 of them being together of course I think this is my favorite combination! This was such a fun show, you can tell that Lindsey and Christine really enjoy playing together which makes the show and the vibe that much more enjoyable. Their new album is so good!! It has hints of certain Mac albums and solo Lindsey flair. My fav off of it is Too Far Gone, it's a rockin song! I would recommend anyone going to this show to get the album and familiarize themselves with it you will enjoy the show better they play just about the whole album along with some choice Mac tunes and a few Lindsey solo songs! If you are Fleetwood Mac fan this is a must see, you will not be disappointed!!!

As Fleetwood Mac fan, these two together were fabulous. Chris holds a special place in my heart from a concert years ago and Lindsey is the best guitar player ever.

Great music and storytelling. The music sounded great, and the on-stage chemistry was awesome. The older songs were always a hit with the crowd, and the newer songs kept the attention of young and young-at-heart alike. As a bonus, the Wallflowers opened the night, and we all went back to the glory of the 90s :-)

My wife & I have followed Fleetwood Mac and solo members since 1975 and have seen them at least 10 times, probably more. Lindsey and Christine have jelled together with this tour and If I closed my eyes, I would think it was FM playing. The new album they released that kicked off this tour is really, really good and was an instant thumbs up. In my opinion, Lindsay is one of the best guitar players around. He gives it all every time I have ever seen them. Back in 2012, Lindsey had a solo tour that was just him and his 12 guitars..simply amazing the sounds he was able to generate. Christine was great and you could tell she was very much into it. I would see them again without any hesitation.

We had a great time. I do think they misread the audience with respect to the final song. Everyone wanted them to end on a FM song and they did not. The audience groans at the end were audible....and no artist wants that. (And when we started hearing profanity about this we quickly left.)

We expected the concert to be very good and it was way better than we ever expected. The harmony between Lindsey and Christine is other world. The biggest surprise was Jimmy Paxson, the drummer. He amazed many in the audience. You could just hear the comments about Jimmy's drumming. WOW!! There are 10 songs on their new album and for the first time in my life, all ten are top notch.

Christie McVie & Lindsey Buckingham were outstanding in their performance at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville on June 23, 2017. Although I missed the remainder of the Fleetwood Mac crew, this duo can perform very nicely together. Who needs Stevie Nicks?

My son and I had a great time, well, I did. I guess Fleetwood Mac and the rest of the classic rockers are not to be discovered by the nose in the smartphone crowd. I was dissapointed with the crowd but, not the venue, ticket process, security, etc. I will remember to take my cooler next time as the $5 waters and popcorn are ridiculously priced. The gnats were a problem while waiting in line and sitting in the grass until dark.

They played all new songs. Some of them were good. The Fleetwood Mac songs they did were not so great either. Mcvie lost her high voice and cant hit the notes. They played too short. ended at 10pm and then came out for encore and said they were playing a few more new songs so the majority of the people left early. Buckingham is no showman either. needed to get crowd going and they didn't..

A mix of Fleetwood Mac hits and their new incarnations. Lindsey nails everything pretty well, albeit with too much delay dialed into his guitar effects. McVie seemed to relegate the vast majority of keyboard work to her band mate, and her voice has lost its high range. Worst of all, there were many times when Christine seemed tone deaf and it was like nails across a chalk board.

A great selection of tracks from the old to the new. Starting with Trouble the concert was unbelievable. Including Tusk was fantastic. Of course they played from their new album. After the concert my wife, who is picky, said she wanted the new album. Recommend the concert and the album and anything Lindsey does.

The actual concert was great. Lindsay and Christine sang some of the old songs and a lot of new ones. Lindsay is still one of the best guitarists in the world. The whole thing would have been a little better at a slightly lower volume. Whoever had control of the sound system must be deaf. I am and I was still overwhelmed at the loudness and I was in the balcony. Those people down near the front are probably still hearing the concert days later. They will be deaf if they go to anymore concerts that are this loud.

Was wonderful to hear and see McVie again. Show consisted of mostly new material, which was good music. BUT after being away sooooo long, wish McVie had been able to sing lead in more songs. Lindsey unfortunately was focused on playing and selling the new album. This was made apparent when towards the end of show, people were yelling out many different songs, and McVie was so sweet, and said, hey I can do this, But Lindsey just started and ended the show with a new song, I can not remember when a veteran act, performers and or music groups ended a show with a new song. Always a classic hit from first or second album thus rewarding fans from the beginning. Otherwise, was wonderful to hear Christine sing again. Sweet beautiful voice.

I am a huge Fleetwood Mac fan and was so excited when Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie released this album and decided to go on a tour together. I have seen Fleetwood Mac multiple times in the past...all of which have been in large arenas. The cool thing about the Moran Theatre is that the setting is more intimate being that it's a smaller venue. We had great seats near the front and their performance was spectacular!! It was so cool seeing some of my favorite musicians in such an intimate venue of which I had never experienced before. They totally delivered by singing a great mix of new songs from the album and some classic favorites. We had an absolute amazing time.

On one hand this was an amazing concert by two stars that work well together. The old music was done very well. I loved the new stuff too, but my husband, who has been a Fleetwood Mac fan for decades, was not impressed. I felt like it was a nice evening out with good music. He wouldn't have been sad to miss it.

The duo from Fleetwood Mac are phenomenal together and worth seeing more than once. Lindsey is without a doubt one of the best guitar players in Rock and Roll history. Christine and him have written some more wonderful songs to add to their catalog of hits. When they play I'm So Afraid, be prepared for the magic from Lindsey on guitar and feel the excitement he generates throughout the audience. This is a concert you do not want to miss.

Concert was ok. Don't mind the new songs, however; play them at one time and move on to older songs. There was no momentum with the song list. Awkward aurora with the two performers seemed to exist. Your encore should have been with older songs.

I've seen Fleetwood Mac almost every time they have been on tour since 1977. Even saw Buckingham/Nicks before they joined Fleetwood. I will probably see them again, however I would probably pass on see these two alone again unless they step it up. To slow and quiet until the big voices come out. Christine's voice seemed very low and shakey on the other hand Lindsey's voice was in great shape. Sorry but they need Stevie to make this set work. Some artist are capable of going off on there own. I thought the new music was very nice and Fleetwood Mac like so why go solo if your sound is going to be the same. When you think about artists going solo think for example Freddy Mercury his solo career was so different than Queen otherwise why break out. Glad Christine went back to Fleetwood Mac the three together make THE statement but the two alone just kinda fell short to me. Unless its Buckingham/Nicks which really made Fleetwood Mac doesn't matter how long Fleetwood Mac was around before they joined the band only moderately popular. My opinion.

Performance-wise the musicianship was top notch. Song selection not so much. They did some great stuff to be sure, but not enough. Their new album is half good and the other half disposable. Thankfully they did 4 of 5 great songs from that album. They should've stopped there as far as the new material goes. Also ending the show with 2 of the most boring new songs was a total mistake. Their selection of some of the Fleetwood back catalog was also a bit of a let down. Really didn't need to hear "Little Lies" or "Everywhere". Would've preferred something like "World Turning", "Oh, Daddy" or "Brown Eyes". The band was tight and Lindsey was amazing and Christine was very good as well. There were some absolutely great moments. "Sleeping Around the Corner", "Feel About You", "In My World", "Too Far Gone", "Tusk", "I'm So Afraid", "Hold Me', "Go Your Own Way" and "Never Going Back Again". I would actually rate this show 3 &1/2 stars out of 5.

Raise your game, Hard Rock Live! I go to a lot of concerts at this venue, but this time was different. The air conditioning was not working well, so the auditorium was uncomfortable. The seats down front (I was in the 9th row) were so ridiculously close together that it was embarassing. I had more body contact with my neighbors than I've had on some dates. Not cool, considering how expensive the tickets were. And there was no draft beer. OK, done with the complaining portion of this review: on with the show. Chris and Lindsey were in fine form and seemed genuinely grateful that people turned out to hear them. The concert bravely focused on new songs, and ended with a ballad. That takes guts, and belief in your music. I enjoyed it very much. Lindsey's guitar work, as usual, is an inspiration. He was a bit more restrained in this intimate show than in the Fleetwood Mac shows I've seen, but he let it all hang out so to speak on "I'm So Afraid" and "Tusk." His musical partner Christine McVie is a shy one, but she brings the goods every time. Her performances of "Hold Me" and "You Make Lovin' Fun" were stellar, the highlights of the show for me.

The concert was held at the Hardrock Live venue in Hollywood, FL. More on that later. I thought the show was great. Lindsay Buckingham - well what can I say - one of the legendary rock guitarists of all time. His performance of the older songs was filled with fresh interpretation and ENERGY. He was fantastic. Christine McVie gave a solid performance. Her voice was right on in the Fleetwood Mac and newer songs. Speaking of the newer material, before you go this concert, you have to listen to the new album You will appreciate hearing these songs when they have a modest degree of familiarity! The Hardrock Live remains a very dated venue. Can't wait to see what comes of it after all the renovation currently underway at the Seminole Hardrock site is complete.

At age 68, Lindsey Buckingham proved that the Review Title of this review is dead on! He was, without a doubt, impeccable! Lindsey is one of my favorite guitarists of all time. Christine, at 74, was a pleasure to watch and, though her voice is starting to show some wear and tear, that would only matter if she were 40 or less! She has my respect and admiration for sure! Their band was awesome, especially the drummer, Jimmy Paxson! A great coupling and the new songs are AWESOME! It's usually hard for me to like songs when hearing them for the first time as much as I did these. Now I am buying the album! Go see them perform. Worth every penny I paid, even though the seating at Hard Rock Live left A LOT to be desired. You are truly smashed into your neighbor and it's impossible for people to go in and out without making the whole row stand up or risk stepped on feet or jammed knees. I will avoid this venue in the future.

I don t know how they can still do it but they certainly can. They opened the Show with just the two of them doing one of Lindsey s songs off his first solo record Trouble and 1 more Lindsey solo tune and 2 Mac tunes. Then the band came on and they did 4 songs off the new record starting with a new version of another Lindsey solo song Sleepin Around the Corner . They done 6 songs off the new record and 6 MAC songs. They then came back with a 3 song encore starting with one of my favorite Christine songs Everywhere and closing with 2 more new songs. If you are a Fleetwood Mac fan you will love the show which runs a little more than an hour and a half. The band that is touring with them is top shelf and very tight. You won t be disappointed!

This lighter version of Fleetwood Mac had a stellar performance of old and new music. The sound in the new venue was amazing. Highlight of the show was Tusk where the amazing drummer (Jimmy Paxson), Christine (accordion), and Lindsey (guitar) did the most energetic version I ve ever heard. I was excited to see Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham because I love their new album and was looking forward to hearing many of the songs from it. I've seen Fleetwood Mac and all three of the singers solo, so I was expecting a good show. Humphrey's is a cozy little venue and when Lindsey played an acoustic guitar, it sounds so clean and crisp. He was also in fine voice. Christine seemed to let Lindsey do more of the singing and at times I felt like she was more of a sidekick, but I'm glad she was there. Their band was excellent too. The song selection was great. They did all but two songs from the new album and plenty of Fleetwood Mac hits with a couple of solo Lindsey tunes thrown in. It was great to hear Hold Me, Little Lies, and Everywhere again. I'm So Afraid is always a showstopper with that guitar solo. Whew! The new songs sounded superb. It was worth the long drive down there.

Amazing evening with these 2 legends. I can't believe Christine is 74, she still sings like an angel and Lindsey Buckingham is simply a guitar god. We attended with friends who were visiting from London, and we all had a wonderful summer night in LA. Opening act Wilderado was a nice surprise -- we didn't know their music before, but they sounded great and we enjoyed their songs. Watching L. Buckingham and C. McVie for the rest of the evening was a joy overall. Music of them and the band was fantastic. Buckingham was phenomenal. The only disappointment was that Ms. McVie's voice was shaky that evening -- and consequently she did not perform the one song for which I was wishing (Songbird). Hoping she was simply having a single sub par night vocally and is on the mend. Separate from the show and venue, I also recommend Dine and Ride (dinner, parking and shuttle service between the restaurant and venue). Overall, we had a great time under the stars while enjoying two legends -- both new music and of course Fleetwood Mac classics!

If you enjoy Fleetwood Mac, and don't have a need to see Stevie Nicks, this is a great show to see. Buckingham and McVie did a number of songs off of their new Album and a nice compliment of Solo and Fleetwood Mac staples. The sound at the Fox Theater was excellent, and we were at the same row as the mixing board, so got the advantage of a well balanced mix. Standout performances were "Too Far Gone", "Tusk", and the guitar solo on "I'm So Afraid". If there is a negative critique at all of the show, there were times when it seemed like it was "The Lindsey Buckingham Show with Christine McVie" Not that Christine was not there, but Buckingham was a much more animated, active, and engaging performer. At times he was interacting with band, moving about the stage, playing to the audience, and literally jumping around like a madman.

It wasn't a bad show but you could sense something was missing....there wasn't much energy coming from the stage as it is when the complete Fleetwood Mac band is performing. Even when Mac tunes were played something didn't sound right. Maybe because I attend many concerts in a year, and have seen Fleetwood five times I am being judgmental. Lindsey still is one of the finest guitar players and his vocals are great. Christy was good also but the synergy between them and the band was off. Honestly, if they come back around I probably won't purchase a ticket for the show.

Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie are two very special musicians who know how to collaborate on new material. They were fantastic in concert with a super group of artists playing with them. Their new CD is upbeat and they incorporated several tracks with old school Fleetwood Mac songs. It was a perfect balance! I especially liked when Lindsey took time to introduce and talk about each band member's background. Always fun to know who else is on stage making a tour come to fruition.

My only minor complaint was that I'd rather hear just a bit more Mac material. There were one or two too many new songs for my taste. Still, it was a great show! And the new songs were very good, even tho not as interesting as the old Mac songs.

These two talented people still put on an extaordinary show even as their tour ended with this performance. Their voices seemed strained in the first couple of songs but quickly found their peak and sounded almost timeless. The new album has some nice sounds and I will enjoy listening to the tracks again and again. The warm up band Wilderado subjected the audience to the same song sung five different ways with even recurring lyrics. It was a relief, if not an escape, when they gave up and left the stage. We sincerely enjoyed the headliners with their mixture of old and new works. They did a surprisingly wonderful "Tusk". McVie is still a very accomplished musician and vocalist. Buckingham plays almost as many different guitars as songs. But, can he play! He is a great guitarist and his vocals are fabulous. We would enjoy hearing more in the future from the both of them.

Christine and Lindsey are so talented and love the new songs. They had a great mix of new and old songs. The only thing I wish was that Christine would have sang Songbird.

Lyndsey time after time leaves it all out on the stage continually giving 110% of his talent. Christine was as elegant as she has always been!

she has a lot more to offer, he has always been incredible. disappointed that she did not do "songbird". only disappointment was the venue had too many people attending that did not appreciate a rock show. if I want to dance at a show or stand up to show my support or enthusiasm, that's what I will do.

Started off really slow and was getting concerend but livened up a bit after two or three songs. The new material from the album was good and suited their current abilities vocally but the older material showed up the changing age of the band. The only exception was the rendition of Tusk which showed the great guitar skills of Lyndsey Buckingham. I'm glad they are reproducing new material and I will be a purchaser but not sure if I would go to a concert again. The Smart Centre in Sugarland is now my favourite location, the acoustics were great and seat comfortable.

As excited as I was about this show I just couldn t get into it. Music was extremely louder than vocals, couldn t hear words most of the time. Video boards weren t on so that was a huge bummer too. One positive note, Lindsey sure can still rock it on a guitar!!

This was a laid back concert. Wilderado opened the show and was quite suprised how good they were. Great sound quality so my hats off to engineer... been to so many shows where opening acts sound sucked. Lindsey and Christine put on a nice show that mixed old stuff with new. Lindsey was in great voice. Enjoyed the show.

Lindsey was great, but disappointed in the band. My wife and I have seen past performances of Fleetwood many times and Lindsey's band in 2007. This was not up to the level of greatness of the past. Sorry but new songs weren't to our taste.

Love Hard Rock Live! Great venue for a show. This show however was horrible. From the coma inducing house music before the set to the slowed tempo opening songs this show tanked. As for the Fleetwood Mac songs, I have seen cover bands do them better. Of the 500 or so concerts I have been to this 1 would not be in my top 499. Do yourself a favor and take your ticket money and support a local cover band.

The Hard Rock is one of my favorite music venues. It is designed for music, rather than hockey or basketball, so the sound is much better, and it is small enough that there are no bad seats. Buckingham and McVie were great. Lindsey blew everyone away! And their drummer was fantastic. The two of them did an amazing performance of Tusk.

The concert was fabulous. I didn't realize that Christy McVeigh had been out of the music business for 15 years before she re-entered a couple of years ago. And I saw what a great lead guitar person Lindsey Buckingham is. He is one of the best. They had great musicians backing them up. They played some new stuff that McVeigh and Buckingham have collaborated on and a handful of old stuff. Thay did a 4 song oncore which was very nice of them. The Hard Rock is a wonderful small venue. There isn't a bad seat in the house. There was plenty of people to help you navigate to your seats. It is a well maintained facility with plenty of concession stands. They brought down the house. When you hear the rock n roll and see the crowd jumping it makes you feel younger and happy. This was a great show.

Concert started out making us listening to a band we have never heard of??? We paid to see them. Finally when they came out they are so good but all they played was new music. We pay to go to hear all the old stuff... Very disappointing.. Had to leave early. From 8 to 10 there was only 3-4 songs I knew.. Worst concert ever..

The quality of the concert was average, they need to add more oldies to their repertoire, and more guitar solos. The backup band was wonderful, and really helped the show

I've seen Fleetwood Mac a few times in the last decade, both with and without Christine McVie. When she rejoined the band several years ago, I was excited as that would open up their catalog and give fans more of a complete Mac show than they'd seen in the previous 15 years without her. I didn't realize it would lead to a collaboration outside the band between Lindsay and Chris. Christine is over 70, still has an amazing voice and is still lovely. I was glad to hear her do some of her Mac songs that might not have been included on the last tour. Lindsay is still an amazing performer - he really gives it up on stage, belts out the songs and is a masterful guitar player and showman. He leads the band and give Christine room to play the keys and sing. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the number of Fleetwood Mac classics but the songs they chose like Tusk and Go Your Own Way. It was a really fun night in a theater vs. the arenas you have to navigate in order to see the Mac. Their new stuff fit in well with the old Mac stuff and some of Lindsay's solo songs. 1. Trouble 2. Wish You Were Here 3. Never Going Back Again 4. Shut Us Down 5. Sleeping Around the Corner 6. Feel About You 7. In My World 8. Too Far Gone 9. Hold Me 10. Little Lies 11. Tusk 12. Love Is Here to Stay 13. Red Sun 14. You Make Loving Fun 15. I'm So Afraid 16. Go Your Own Way Encore: 17. Everywhere 18. Lay Down for Free

Lindsey Buckingham and his guitar are one piece of equipment. He has spent his life connected to the guitar. I was 4 rows back in Northfield Friday night and I again witnessed his spectacular command of the guitar. I have seen him solo twice in Pittsburgh at the Carnegie Library Music Hall, once with this line up and 6 or 7 time with Mac. It's not enough. He has an incredible style of playing the guitar. I am very thankful he and Christine came to Northfield Rocksino. i wish him the best, thank you
