Fantastic concert by David Benoit with bonus appearance by Selena Albright and Charlie Brown Singers from Lititz Elementary School. VERY disapointing attendance. Except for parents and grandparents of kids probably less than 50 people were in attendance.. This outstanding performance was neither advertised nor promoted in the Reading Area. Only commercials were on WJJZ - Lancaster which doesn't reach Reading. Where was Olivet Boys and Girls Clubs who benefitted? Maybe they have too much money and didn't need the proceeds from this concert. Ditto the jazz community, they want support from every other arts group, but ignore everyone else. Once again nationally known artists flop in Reading. Guess we must be satisfied with Pro Rasslin and monster trucks. I'll bet Benoit rushes right back here for jazz fest. Yeah...........Right!
