Spent a good amount of money for a VIP experience. Needless to say it was nothing of the sort. I got the same experience as the people that bought normal tickets. There was nothing VIP about it. Never had a single person running the event come up to me. Didn't get special seating. Didn't get to be first in lines. Got rushed through the photo op. So basically just buy a normal ticket and save the money.

This was the first time me and my daughter and we were not disappointed. It was a great first time/get your toes wet event. My first wish was that there had been more panels in the halls. We would do it again tho if we had the chance. I took away one star because it was a little pricey but I think some of those prices where not the fault of the venue just the nature of the beast of the event. Great time!

I was really excited for the 2017 Kansas City Comicon this year. I'm a huge Superman fan and Kevin Smith fan, so the Superman the Movie 40th anniversary panel & the Fatman on Batman podcast really got me excited. Both of those and a couple of other panels were great, but the show as a whole wasn't good. I didn't feel like it was managed & promoted very well. The venue was way too big for this con. It could have been held at a smaller convention center and would have been more successful. The amount and quality of vendors were not as good as the other major Comicon in Kansas City. If this comicon continues next year, there needs to be better organization, promotion, and better quality of vendors and media/creator guests. Most importantly, a smaller venue would benefit to allow the con to slowly grow.
