Sully Erna

Once again another awesome and fun performance by SULLY and the guys!!! Love seeing Sully live!!!

What a great show! I've been a fan of Godsmack only for about 5 years now and was thrilled to see this side too of Sully Erna: he still has the fiery passion that burns through Godsmack, but it's channeled here into more soulful music. This was a primarily acoustic guitar show (I remember thinking, Where are the drums I love so much in Godsmack?) I love his rich, deep voice, love the songs, the covers of Pink Floyd and Metallica... and the videos behind him really created atmosphere and focus, as his songs touched on his relationship with his daughter, another about children around the world who suffer and a tribute to fallen rock legends. The audience loved it all. It helped that we did a meet and greet, for which Sully was so hospitable and kind; and that he's a local boy, from Lawrence, MA. I've read his bio "The Paths We Choose" twice and it gives insight into the source of his creative genius. A wonderful evening, a wonderful performed and songwriter. Don't miss him!

On a Supermoon Sunday, Sully returns to TS resort ( SULLYCUSE to us ) and performed a wonderful acoustic show with band mates Tim and Lester. He was in a jolly mood loving the wine, and went through a " storyteller " and somewhat tangent filled set , was hysterically funny and interacting with audience. Apologizing for some " depressing " New Songs , they played an entertaining set with nothing but guitars, keyboards and Sully's tambourine. Playing Avalon cuts, favorites like Nutshell,Touche, Running Blind, Nothing else Matters, etc. With stunning backdrop clips. We made a request for Moon Baby in honor of a huge Supermoon, but we got a lunar infused show nevertheless. Sully emphasized us to " feel" every aspect of the music. Did not disappointed. RECOMMEND YOU GO SEE THIS SIDE of Sully , limited dates and we'll worth it. Thanks for the gift of music Mr. ERNA

This show was unbelievable. I drove 2+ hours in the rain to attend this concert, and It was worth every drop. Sully played the entire Avalon album, and it was better live than it is on the album, which I think is pretty amazing in its own right. I can't wait to see the show again when it comes to Tonawanda, NY in June

Sully is such an amazing performer!! I absolutely loved his piano solo. When he addresses the crowd and then did a Godsmack song the place went wild! I would go to this show again in a second!!

It was a night that I will never forget! The music was increditable. Sully is a true artist!

My husband, 8-year old son and I went to see Sully Erna's Avalon concert on May 15th. It was a truly amazing concert that exemplified the thought , feelings, and hearts of each of the musicians that performed at this concert. The songs are performed beautifully with each artist adding their unique abilities and professionalism to the overall quality of the music. We are Godsmack fans and ultimately did not mind this side of Sully's exceptional skills. We loved the acoustical aspect of this album, and look forward to hearing future performances of this style as well as the style of Godsmack. Mr. Erna truly has a love for music as it shows in his performance.

Experienced Sully Erna et al in Syracuse - a fabulous, mystical musical experience. Sully has such range musically and spitually - a must see show!

It was amazing, very spirtual.. You have to see it to understand how incrediable it was.

I've loved the Avalon CD since I got it... but somehow seeing it live in concert made every aspect of each track pop even more, and in turn makes me like the album even more. I also got a better inkling what certain songs were actually about based on the accompanying video. And while Sully was awesome (I was glad to see him move around from just vocals, to piano, to guitar, to hand drums...), I found myself more drawn to Lisa Guyer and her powerful, haunting voice... loved it.

Wow...where to start. Amazing, inspiring, awesome. I left the show wanting to find another show of his close to my place. I was hooked the first time I heard the album. Even more so now that I show the show. I highly recommend to everyone to see this show.

I saw Avalon performed at the F.M. Kirby on 5/14,and let me say this. Absolutely fantastic! I have seen Sully perform many times with Godsmack, so I didn't expect him to let me down, but to see just how versatile of an artist he is floored me. Everything about the show was simply stellar. The band, the mood, and the incredible music. He has gone above and beyond anything he's ever done before. Period. Lisa Guyer also is a fantastic complement to him, as well as a very talented artist. Her voice is beautiful. If this tour comes anywhere near you, don't miss it.

I knew there was a reason I drove two hours to see a concert. SULLY rocks!!!. He is a Pure musician!! From singing, playing the piano to playing the drums!!! TALENT TALENT TALENT I love how he can play and compose all types of music. It was like listening to the CD LIVE. No lip syncing, no computers just pure music. SULLY clearly poured his heart and soul into this album. The other musician were excellent also and I'm sure that's why he choose another vocal soul mate. They could play and sing as well. I can't wait for the trip to Atlantic City, NJ. PS I don't know how SULLY will top this album. It is going to be tough but I'm sure he will keep our Serenity :) Chuck Z

This was a show that i can look back on and say i was there!The kirby center was the perfect place for this show.You look around the crowd and see people in their 60 s and then see a dad with his teen boys all the women love him .WoW! Is there any one that does not like this guy.The band and sully seemed liked they have been playing together for years. The best show I have ever been a part of!

Sully's many talents were on full display. His singing and piano playing were exemplary. For anyone who likes music of any kind, I highly recommend seeing Sully in concert!

Sully was very interactive with the audience. The cello player, the drummers, the keyboardist, the bass and acoustic guitar players were all amazing! And Sully's duet partner was also amazing! It felt like we were watching them in the studio, just being people playing music. Not some big overdone concert, but it was still a very well prepared and professional concert. Just not pompous. My only complaint is the sound system of the stadium we were in. All is all, one of the best concerts I've been to. We were watching true musicians. That is something I will never forget. DON'T MISS IT!!

As always, Sully has put together an amazing show. I've seen him perform live with Godsmack, during his solo tour where it was him and an acoustic guitar and now with Avalon. The music was fantastic, as the musicians are all very talented and the overall experience is ethereal because you could feel and experience what the music truly represents. I would highly recommend this event.

Excellent! Very much enjoyed the show! The seats were great and the Sully and the band were flawless.

Pretty solid show by Sully Erna and his band. The sound was good and the band sounded outstanding. About the only complaint I have is that they only played for 80 minutes and didn't like the Kirby Center staff. With no opening act the show was very very quick.

Truly Amazing!! Sully is very talented. We traveled 2 1/2 hours to see him and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

This is was the best musical experience that I have ever had. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I would love for him to come back. Of all of the shows that I have seen over the past year or so this by far was the best!!!

I felt an overall sense of calm and new love of music at the conclusion of the show! I wish I would have brought my children who are aspiring early teen musicians along with me. I know they would have appreciated the talent that was before them with a sense of awe that only a child can possess.

ABSOLUTELY one of the best shows that I have EVER seen. Sully's range of musical talents is incredible, as is the artists that he chose to perform with him. This particular show was more of a theatrical performance and was very heartfelt, yet still rang with a similarity for all die-hard Godsmack fans.

Sully played a very personal, intimate show at Starland Ballroom. When I purchased the tickets, I wasn't sure quite what to expect, but the show was simple. Sully Erna, a stool, a couple guitars and a piano. Sully told about his life, the inspiration behind songs, and even asked the audience for some stories. Sully wanted to inspire, and inspire he did. Think VH1 Storytellers with audience participation. Sully played mostly Godsmack songs, a few from his Avalon album, and some covers by Alice in Chains, Metallica, Aerosmith and The Beatles. The entire show was extremely emotional and heartfelt.

This was the best show I've ever been to. Sully gave such an excellent performance. He made you feel as though you were hanging out with him rather than that he was just speaking to a nameless audience. You got the feeling that he really wanted to give you his best. The Starland Ballroom is now my favorite venue for this type of event. The seating was unique. We had a waitress taking our orders so we never had to miss a minute of the show! I'm still reeling over it...

Great show. Haven't heard his new stuff before tonight. Every member was incredible. I would love to go see them again.

Once again I was blown away by Mr. Erna and his Crew! I was able to see him on both his opening night and last night of his first solo tour. Sully Erna is so talented and offers everyone that hears his music an experience that begs to be appreciated. His love of music obviously shows when he performs and makes me wish I could have some amount of his talent.

Sully Erna's solo tour is the best solo tour I have ever seen. His vision of music and its power is evident from the opening note to the closing cord. It's easy to see that Sully truly believes in the power in music, and by the end of the show, you will too. The interaction between Sully and Lisa Guyer is magical. Their musical chemistry resonates thru each song. This tour should not be missed!

One of the best Concerts I have ever been to.I know 2 of the members in the band, so this made it an extra special night. The National was awesome. I "Will" be back! ***** Stars for sure!!!

Sully outside of Godsmack... what a departure from the norm.... melodious and smooth but still having that energizing edge ...i have listened to Avalon dozens of times but seeing and hearing the music in person totally captivated me.. it was a very visual show with videos playing on the backdrop along with flashing key words of the songs....which to me was portraying Sully's feelings when he wrote the songs and the message he was trying to relate... very few bands could pull off playing songs featuring cello, flutes, piano and hand drums to a crowd that typically are rockers, but the instrumentals were actually the package that sealed this deal...loved the tribal beat and smooth sound of the strings...Sully's vocals are always outstanding but the Avalon songs were filled with a passion that seemed to come from his soul and you could tell he loved being able to step out of his stereotyped role and perform a more melodic repetorire. Then add Lisa Guyer's vocals which were so rich it sent chills down my spine .. her stage presence was mesmorizng and she has that haunting tonal quality that i so loved with Hollow..the songs made you think about your role and purpose in not only your life but the ones around us...they drew emotions from me which i was certainly not expecting at a concert..and .instead of leaving the show sweaty, drained and on an exhilarating rock high as i always do with Godsmack (who i have seen 13 times), i instead walked away with a different endorphin release ... more of a total body high ...feeling like i knew Sully as a person...through Avalon Sully has demonstrated his diverse musical talents by doing a 180 from his top notch rockin out with Godsmack to writing and performing songs that come from the depths of his heart and soul...Overall a most excellent show... and seeing that side of Sully will only add to the experience when i see Godsmack on the Mayhem tour this summer from my VIP seats... you can just never get enough of Sully.... and i love both sides of him!!!

An amazing show from Sully and the rest of the Avalon team. The show started late, but was well worth it. I have wanted to see Sully live for a very long time, and jumped at the chance to see him at a smaller venue. Our seats were on the main floor (Mix 20), and were a great view of the stage. My only complaint, was there were literally two open rows in front of us, and people kept coming over to sit there from other area's of the Sound Board. Other than that, the show was amazing, and I would definitely recommend seeing Sully presents Avalon if you have the chance!!

The best part was the meet and greet. Sully is very down to earth and appreciates his fans. He is an amazing truly talented musical artist. When he came on stage it was a feeling you will never forgot. He did an amazing show along with a great female vocalist Lisa. The cool part was he didn't speak a word til the very end when explained he wanted the audience to feel the music within. Check this show out. This is the other side of Sully you truly have to experience for yourself.

Sully Erna has ALWAYS been my favorite musician. He is very talented.

I knew heading into this event that it was going to be something special. Little did I know just how special. Sully is such a talented individual. He put together a show that showcased each persons talent on stage. He made sure that everything, and I mean everything from the lighting to the sound was taken care of. He was so down to earth and friendly with his fans. He made sure we all felt welcome from the very start of the show. By the end, he wanted to make sure that we all had experienced the show of a lifetime. I would pay time and time again to see him perform like this.

I knew I was going to enjoy this concert, but it went above and beyond all expectations. I was blown away by the preformance. After leaving (and I was hoping it would never end) I felt as though I had been at a spiritual retreat. What an amazing, moving, powerful, soul searching show. I would recommend it to everyone! We had meet & greet tickets, the show was absolutely amazing. The music touches your soul in a way nothing else can, the whole group was phenomenal and if I could go again I would in an absolute heartbeat.

It was Sully and 2 others . Very intimate performance. This was one of the best shows I have been to. He played a variety of music, songs from Hometown Life, Avalon and some Godsmack! The man is very talented and that voice of his, never disappoints!

Sully never disappoints! Second show I've been to this year both slightly different but equally fantastic. He's got a great voice and entertaining. Don't pass up an opportunity to see him live. The Egg theater was a great venue, my first time there. The sound was incredible, can't wait to go back.

The venue was easy to get to. Parking was simple and the theater was intimate, clean and cozy. Sully Erna was extremely funny and interacted with the crowd which made the show very entertaining. The music itself could not have been any better! I will definitely be going to see Sully again and I will definitely go to The Egg again as well.

The concert was OK, but I was expecting more. I would probably not attend another of his concerts, although I would probably attend a Godsmack concert. The GOOD: Sully sang tons of songs. Concert probably last it 2 hrs. The music was great and his two musicians were amazing. Sully also sings and pkays very good live. The BAD: He only had two additional musicians, a guitar player and a bass/guitar/keyboard player. It was definitely lacking some percussion. After a while the songs were a bit monotonous. The UGLY: When Sully was singing everything was great. But when he started talking everything went south. Some was OK, but he went on and on, and on, and on...talking about how women were all messed up from birth and other random tangents.

I was fortunate enough to see Sully at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta Georgia. It was his opener for his Hometown Tour. It was so intimate and the acoustics there were phenomenal.

This was a great show. He played selections off his new album, some classic Godsmack, and a bit of other artists work. The concert was full of entertainment with comedy, and if Sully were to ever get into stand-up, we'd certainly go see him again. You're right Sully...SEAHAWKS SUCK!

I've been to many Sully Erna shows and enjoy everyone of then! He is such a great performer. He's so gracious to the crowd! The songs are out of this world! It is so cool To hear stories he tells about touring with GODSMACK !

I loved every minute of his acoustic show. I had waited a long time for either Sully or Godsmack to come back to this area. It was well worth the wait!!!!

Another amazing show! My kids had a blast and enjoyed the meet n greet as well! Great music and that amazing voice, and as usual Sully made it fun!!! Sully laughs and jokes as well as getting personal and even emotional!!! Love his voice and performance, also his band members are some awesome musicians as well!!! The venue was nice and Ticketmaster was very good at communicating with us leading up to the event. Seeing Sully acoustic was AWESOME!! I have seen Godsmack many times of the last decade and never been disappointed! Doing it VIP is the only way!!

I knew I wasn't going to see GodSmack, but said they were going to play a little bit of everything, including some GodSmack, guess he forgot, should have at least play Serenity or Voodoo. The new music is just not moving. The place was half empty and the people that did show, kept getting up repeatedly. Apparently they too were bored and needed to be drunk to get through this show.

Do not miss Sully Erna on this tour! An incredibly emotional and enjoyable evening of beautiful and amazing music!

This was the first time attending Center Stage as well as listening to Sully being Sully. His presentation and artist being is just relaxing and powerful all in one. I hd the honor to meet him but I presented myself as a kid in a candy store. I was just so excited to actually have the opprotunity that I may have embarrassed myself with my own behavior. The performance was more than I expected and extremely pleasing. Great album, memoriable experience, would see him again. The venue was perfect for his performance.

Unlike the last time I saw Erna in a solo performance where he included some Gpdsmack tunes on the setlist, this one consisted solely of solo mayerial as well as a couple of closing covers. The result was a mix of world music, rock and jazz all lending to a full filked, eclectic experience. Erna's father guested in the backup jazz section on trumpet as well!

Sully Erna at The Wilbur in Boston was a perfect show in every way. Awesome talent solo or Godsmack style. Love this venue, great accustics no matter where you are, although recommend right up front and personal. Loved the intimate feel of the show.

An incredible performance at the Gracie, the music was superb and the smaller venue made for a great experience. If the goal was to share a deeper connection to music with those around him, he definitely succeeded.

Probably the most enjoyable concert I've been to! The music was amazing! We got to meet him with the meet and greet package and that was the best!

In Turningstone Showroom there isn't really a bad seat in the place, though I'd love to see Sully singing up close! The lights were awesome and the sound amazing. Sitting in the booth was nice because there's only 4 seats per table so not crowed at all. At the other tables it's so crowed you can't really move and my legs get cramped.

Sold Out showroom. Right up front for Birthday, M&G before show. AWESOME. Sully started out show solo, a little bit Storytellerish - fine and thanks for sharing. Was hoping to hear Touche, Running Blind and Serenity from GS catalog - ALL delivered - thanks. Presentation of AIC " Nutshell " absolutely mesmerizing, reached deep into my soul. Whole show an emotional getaway. Would do again and again. Show had awesome backdrops , video visions and ENTIRE band delivered ,great show!!!!!!!. Again, an experience for the senses, emotions and genuine love of music - a gift for sure. Lisa especially soars, great choice , whole band AMAZING. Missed Irena . Covers of Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and Beatles well received. Sorry about house drunk who should have been thrown out - one at every show. PLEASE RETURN to SULLYCUSE !!!

He made me laugh, cry (in a good way), dance and sing. This show will def be in my top 3 all time favorites...and I've seen a lot of the greatest of greats! Not only is he incredibly talented...his is humble and grateful for his fans support making himself vulnerable in sharing his life's stories, both good and bad.

Sully Erna, a gifted man who shares that gift with the world. This show was just magical! No other way to describe it. It is a show that you just have to see.

Brilliant show, brilliant musicians and the live DVD is amazing. The whole show brought you on a magical journey. Such a departure from Godsmack and soulful. Bought the box set from Amazon.com, so I can re-live the event forever. Recommended to people of all ages. Something the whole family can enjoy!

Every time I think it's just another great show, Sully & his band turns it up to 11. Such inspirational music & so well played. Special thanks goes out to Lisa, Steph, Lester, & Tim also. This band should have 123563434 stars.

This was an amazing show. All the musicians were unbelievable talented and Sully and Lisa singing gives me chills. There harmonies together blew me away. This was my youngest daughters 1st concert and she loved it. Both my daughters have grown up listening to Godsmack and now to share this a totally different kind of music with them is great. I can't wait to bring both my girls to a Godsmack concert soon.

Sully and his backing musicians put on a marvelous show. They performed a blend of Avalon, Godsmack and new music. The venue was great for his show - intimate, and allowed him to connect with his audience. He had only five of the eight Avalon musicians: Lisa (vocals), David (drums), Tim (guitar) and Chris (bass, etc.). I was hoping to see Irina, his cello player, but the five of them sounded very rich and filled in just fine. I hope to see them again soon.

The show was awesome. Sully is one of the last true rock and roll frontmen around. I always leave his shows inspired and remember why I love Rock and Roll. He is as honest and true to his roots and never forgets how much he is thankful and appreciate his fans.

This concert was truly refreshing. I am a huge Godsmack fan but I am even more of a Sully Erna fan. Seating was comfortable.. I was amazed that there was seating on the floor which made it even cozier. He was down to earth and put on an amazing show. I also love The Paramount. It's not far from me plus the tickets are affordable. I can't wait until the next show in April!

I took my 11 year old daughter with me to see this concert and she was in awe the whole show. She loves his music as I have been listening to Godsmack since they first came out. When he said he was doing a solo project I couldn't wait to hear what he would create and I wasn't disappointed. He is an amazing artist and all the musicians in this band with him are amazing as well. Couldn't ask for a better night of music <3

My husband and I saw Sully Erna perform Avalon on tv with his band of musicians and loved it. When we found out he'd be playing at HOB in AC we immediately got tickets. We weren't disappointed at all. Sully performed a few Godsmack songs solo. Then he did an Alice in Chains song which was awesome!!! Later his band from Avalon came out minus the cello player. This show was so awesome, the did a Ponk Foud cover and a few new songs, songs from Avalon and ended with The Chain/Hey Jude. Loved the show and would see him against,

I LOVE Sully Erna so this was a great treat to finally get to see him and he did not disappoint at all, he has a great voice with is hypnotic to me, I do hope he comes back this way again., I only wish I could of gotten closer seats.

I cannot say enough about Sully's show on April 7th at the Sherman Theater in Sroudsburg, PA. He is truly a gift from the universe and we have been blessed by his talent and music. I will be seeing him with Godsmack in May and I know that too, will be just as amazing :)

My girlfriend and I went to this show, not quite knowing what to expect. Not much info was know other than my favorite vocalist was playing a show at my favorite venue. We bought tickets for seats (which even though it listed a row and seat number the seats were first come first serve), and got a decent spot. Now show wise, this was the most personal show I've ever attended. Picture Sully Erna on stage with a guitar, chatting, playing music, and engaging in conversation with the crowd. People walked up to him and told stories, bought him drinks, and at one point joined him on stage. Music ranged from Godsmack songs to many songs from his great solo album. He told us all the meaning behind these songs, all about writing music, and how he's coped with his career through all these years. I don't think I could've asked for a better show, basically every seat at Starland Ballroom had a great view, and it really felt like we were all there experiencing this once in a lifetime chat with Sully. Everyone had laughs and I actually saw a few people cry at this show which is a first for me. Highly recommend this to anyone if he comes to a town near you.

Sully Erna has an amazing voice that sounds even better live. The show was intimate and personal. The sound was phenomenal. The acoustics at the Parker Playhouse are perfect for a show like this. We didn't want the show to end. He played his new music, a couple Godsmack songs, and a few other artists. What an unforgettable night.

Sully...Sully...Sully.. You want to go see one of the most talented song writers, entertainer's, MoFo's, work'en it today... go see this show. In what appears to be a run of smaller venue theater setting performances you get all Sully. (not acoustic Godsmack...Sully!) Although that's not true as the two very talented artist on either side of him are strong musicians. Obviously Sully grabbed some guys that not only could play..but can really harmonize with his voice. Again don't miss this show.. And thank you Parker Playhouse for all the memories as a kid down here..and thank you for bringing this awesome show.. nice to come back!.. Did I mention ...Sully!

What made this even better was my front row seats with my BFF, dead center. I'm a long time Sully fan, and seeing him up close and personal in this tiny venue was amazing! He kept saying he felt like he was singing in a living room. Lol. His set list was pretty close to what the previous show was. Opening with Avalon, (goosebumps), and later playing the cover of Alice in Chains Nutshell (complete with pictures on a screen of all the rock artists we've lost due to drugs), made me cry. This guys on POINT! Impromptu rendition of Pink Floyd, dude, the show was 100%. I would go again in a minute...or a second...

It was one of the most incredible, intimint shows I have ever been too. Sully was very engaged with the audience throughout the show. Probably only 600 people in attendance. Numerous times he joked we could be in someone's living room. Sully would talk then great transitions into the next songs. Played some solo stufff, Godsmack(new LP beginning 2018) to celebrate 20th anniversary. Did incredible Nutshell cover along with Metallica, Aerosmith and the Beetles. Don't miss this show.

I went to this show based on owning one CD, Avalon. I did not leave disappointed! I've no idea where any negative comments have come from. The show was prompt, a full 2 hours, and a great vibe was had by all! Sully had moments of interaction with the other two band members on stage that left you feeling like you were on the outside of a private joke, but who cares? Looking at his tour/travel schedule, I bet that have more than 2 or 3 one liners to share amongst each other. The Alice In Chains, Metallica, Aerosmith, and Beatles covers broke up a set list wonderfully! And by the way, more enough of Avalon was played to quench my taste!

This was the best show I've seen this year! It is hard to put into words how awesome it was and how great three guys could sound! Truly the must see show!

Having seen Sully and the solo crew perform at Hampton Beach a few years, I had expectations of a show as good if not better than the Hampton show. I have to say, this show was OK, but overall a let down as compared to the Hampton show for a couple reasons: 1) The sound guy was bad. You could not even hear Lisa Guyer. This was actually a conversation in the men's room during the show, because other guys were pointing it out as well. 2) The show started 15 minutes late and was not even 90 minutes long. I don't even think there were 10 songs total. 4 from Avalon, 4 or so from the new album, and Fleetwood mac. The Hampton show had more from Avalon, Godsmack stuff (Runnin Blind & Awake) Alice in Chains & Pink Floyd thrown in. Knowing Sully has new material, and old material to choose from, I guess I expected a longer show, not a shorter one. Now, with this in mind, I would most likely see Sully's solo show again. Avalon is a great piece of work, and I enjoy it regularly. Overall, this show seemed like Sully wasn't into Wowing the fans, just giving enough to not anger them.

Show was amazing & truly highlighted his amazing talent. Voice incredible as always.

It was so much fun he even had his 71 year old father playing with him. If he plays at Mohegan sun again I would go again.

Sully & the band were excellent! A little on the dark side but, an awesome show!

The Sully Experience!! That's what I called my night at Mohegan Sun Arena! My first time at a concert in that venue and it was awesome!! Sully is such a talented gifted musician that sings from his soul! I can't wait for his new music to be released in September

The show was amazing, mellow and energetic. Definitely different than the Godsmack days but still soulful transe like lyrics. I loved how intimate the show was a few surprise appearances from people in Sully's life.

With Godsmack or solo, Sully puts on a great show. I have been seeing him play since the early club days....Still great with tons of energy.
