50 Cent

This was my 2nd 50 Cent show and I loooved it!! The first show I saw was when Jay-Z was headlining back in '03 and I had such a great time, but it was at a MUCH larger venue. Seeing them the 2nd time around at The House of Blues was awesome!!! I'm really just a fan of Power of the Dollar, Get Rich or Die Tryin' and The Massacre, so the set list back in '03 was better in my opinion, but the atmosphere at this show was bangin!!!!! Plus everyone was amped up for 50's birthday, so that definitely didn't hurt!! Anyway, I would definitely see them again, recommend them, and all that good stuff!!! ;)

I saw 50 cents this summer 2010 in Phoenix Az I am in my 60's and i love me some 50 cent . He takes me away from the mode of being a senior citizen to joining the world of now. I am going to law school online and most of my fellow classmates are young but when I listen at him rapping I can understand my classmates better and get with the program. I would love to see him again .I even got to catch one of the towels he threw.

Seeing an artist live carries alot of weight in "who's the best" rankings....with NO lip syncing, NO rapping over vocals, plenty of breath control and a 2 hour set ! What more can u ask for ! 50 and the rest of G-Unit tore it down ! Hands down the best rapper I've see in person.......

The event was great. I was shocked at all of the artists that 50 brought out on stage.

It was a great show. There were a lot of really good artist who performed good.There more than I expected for sure. But over all the show was very entertaining I highly recommend it and look forward to seeing it again.

I saw 50cent at Nokia and LOVED IT! Governors Island was nice but not as personal as NOKIA. I actually left early and did not see 50cent perform because he was taking to long to come out on stage. The event was 6-11. I left at 10 and 50cent was still not on. I paid to see 50 not Dip SET or any of the others. I can see them at a club in NYC. I was disappointed. I love 50cent and was expecting the show to be like NOKIA when him and G-Unit performed. Disappointed wast of money. NOKIA show was 9-11 .. 2 hours of 50 and G UNIT! Thats what I wanted. He should of been on the stage at 9.. the others people and the DJ had all our time and NO FOCUS! Favortie part - Was when I took the taxi water cab at 10 along with Angie M/Hot 97 was taking same one.. she got on the water cab and said "how you gonna leave before 50" we all asked her the same thing! 50 was not even on the stage when we all were leaving!

The show was amazing, it was non-stop hip hop. From Mike Posner all the all to 50 CENT the show was amazing. It was good to see Corey Gunz getting some shine. Gunit did their thing. Wyclef keep it real, so did Dblock. Maino was good, and so was KID CUDI and WALE. Cant wait until next year.

I was hyped for the concert since i heard about it, and after hearing 50 saying, "I'm not saying *whoever* is guna be there.." etc, i had a feeling not every guest performer that he announced was guna come through. I was wrong! I'm not a fan of 50 cent, but i give him credit for being able to bring out every1 he announced along with SURPRISE GUESTS like Red Cafe, Wyclef, and a few others. All of the Hot 97 DJs did work between performances.. it was cool being able to put faces to DJs names. The show opened up with some garbage performer, but after him. Wale and Kid Cudi were the next ones up.. Kid Cudi probably received the most love from the audience. He knew how to talk to the crowd and kept the crowd hyped. He performed his best hits which were my favorite off his album. Kid Cudi was straight up the best performer of the night. G-unit and 50 cent may have been the worst performances aside from the first performer. They came out 2 different times towards the end of the show and in my opinion, 50 looked like a fool trying to sing on stage. it may have been because i was already standing for 5 hours and was tired of hearing the DJ announce that "50 cent just called and hes on his way!!" which was pretty much said throughout the whole concert. I guess its true that he hypes himself up. "50-cent... NOTHING SPECIAL!" Aside from 50.. all the other entertainers came to impress.. i can't say that some performers were better than others because every1 performed different and brought something fresh.. Cory Gunz, Juelz, and Papoose killed it with their Freestyles on acapella. I'm a big fan of Cory Gunz and when i heard he was invited to perform, i knew that if all my other expectations of the show were let down then i had Gunz to look forward to. He completely ripppedddd the miccc. I knew most people in the crowd were not too familar with him, but he BLEWW every1 away with his final freestyle.. I was surprised with Papoose because i'm not really a fan, but he was performance was crack and his new alphabet song freestyle left the crowd in awe. All in all, I was reealllyyy impressed and i wana tell every1 about the experience. If 50 is guna be doing 50 Fest annually then you already know im going to be there next year.

I am a 36 year old professional and I still love hip hop. The energy at this show was amazing and I really enjoyed myself. Great artists represented real rap - true hip hop. Venue was great. Standing for 5 hours was the only downside. 50 Cent did it again. He never ceases to amaze me.

50 cent was great and so were the other performers. The crowd sucked. It was mostly young white kids drunk and high and that made the experience boring. They didnt get the music. If you read this 50...it wasn't you boo, it was the wack ass audience. The location was great. Beautiful city view.

This was the ish!!!!!A few things missing though 50 didn't take off his shirt and he didn't do a few of my favorite songs

was good,but wayy too crowded....we were close to the front but ended up moving further back cuz there were so many ppl pushing and shoving us and lots of tall ppl in front of us....so when we moved back some,we were able to see better! sooo many drunk teenagers that it felt like a rave! maino was awesome and 50 only sang like 4 of his own songs,the rest were from g-unit. kid kudi was good! papoose was okay.

From the water taxi to the comfortable standing, I truuly enjoyed myself last night "This is 50" event. All of the performers last night were active rappers pushing the message--we are here to.. Although it had a lot of potty mouth lyrics,I LOVED ALL OF IT. (THANK YOU!) "Positive Movement"

The Show was very entertaining. It was at a great location because the view of Manhattan from Governors Island was incredible. I love New York City and I love Hip-Hop so it was Good To See A New York City Hip-Hop Artist Like 50 Cent doing Something Positive and Putting This Show Together. I was excited when he brought out other artist like The Lox also Known as D-Block, Artists like Slaughter House, And new Artists Like Corey Gunz, It Was A Great Show Entirely I Definitely Enjoyed Wale & KiD CuDi's Performances. Hot 97 said this would be annual so I will be there again next year.

It was way more than I expected. I enjoyed myself, and Hope to attend next year. That was 50!

KID CUDI, G-Unit, 50 Cent, Dipset, D-Block, Maino, Red Cafe, Cory Gunz, Trav,Wale, Wyclef!!! Craziest concert I've been to since anger management tour 2005. I also hear it's going to be yearly so I guess I will be attending this again! Shouts to 50 G-Unit and Hot 97!!.

50 Cent's concert on Governor's Island was a good time. I did not arrive in time for Mike Posner and saw only a portion of Wale's performance. The ferry ride was short, convenient and the lines moved very quickly. Kid Cudi's performance was far too long and he performed numerous songs that the crowd was not familiar with - this was clear based on the lack of movement and singing along. As a new artist I expected him to perform two or three of his popular tracks - considering he was not the headliner. I wish Maino had performed longer and felt that 50 could have performed longer as well. 50 has some classics that were left out of his performance but overall his energy was great.

The Concert and the whole experience was great, the only thing we needed 50 were some chairs standing for 8 hours.. other then that so many artist it just kept getting better and better. i did not even know what governor's island was before. the pricing of the food and drinks were good as well, there some great security as usual thanks 50.

THis was banging.. I wasnt sure about 50 or Cudi being great but Wale killed it, Dipset killed, Maino killed it and D Block really killed it. Cudi was aiight but 50 and Lloyd Banks were sick.

the overall show was great, the long delays inbetween acts in the begining are getting hard for me to bare, but seems like i go to expect that. once the main acts started popping off the show was great!!!

This was my first concert believe it or not, and it started off pretty rough. In the beginning, the lights were too bright, people weren't dancing, and Rae was just shouting. However, the concert quickly turned when Kygo reached the stage. Kygo and 50 cent were the highlights of the evening. I had a great time dancing and singing/rapping with friends. I was disappointed at first that I didn't get to be on the floor for the concert, but then I realized the first floor was more lively than the floor, and it was great to have a seat when necessary.

G Unit is still the bomb best ever been waiting over ten years to see them and would love to do it again

The less worst band was KYGO having only one original and good song. Terrible music at all. I left before the end, so I don't know about the last songs of 50 cent, but the first one was terrible. All the people I talked hated that show.

I think SU really tried for a homerun here. 50 Cent and G-Unit, historically, have some true star power. Kygo is pretty hot right now for DJs and the EDM scene. I still have no idea who Rae Sremmurd is and don't care to. Two things: Kygo is not a stadium style act. His music is actually pretty good, but not for a concert setting. People wanted to dance, but were struggling to do so. G-Unit is passed its prime. 50 Cent is old. They're attempt to hype the crowd include screaming "get your mother@$cking hands up!" and throwing water from bottles into the first 20 feet of crowd. Their set amounted to a lot of noise. Admittedly, I decided to leave before the performance changed to 50 Cent hits from the early aughts, but I just couldn't do it.

1st act @ 7:15pm. Ended around 8pm. Then noone till 50 cent w/ G-Unit at 10pm. 2 hour wait time without being able to reenter was bogus.

Bad song choice. Killing the vibe way too often. Everyone started leaving early to try and salvage the rest of the night.

I felt like I was in 2004. Lots of throwbacks but overall pretty fun. Really long and performances lasted a little too long.

Worst concert I've ever been to. If you want to see 50 cent and his six friends yelling "songs" you've never heard before for an hour and a half, then this is the show for you. So disappointing.

Fantastic tickets and seating. 50 Cent is better than Jay-Z & Beyonce put together.

Not a really big fan of live rap shows but this one was really good. They missed a few songs and I still can't believe the 50 did not perform Wanksta and Young Buck didn't perform Get Buck, but they were fun to watch.

Excellent show, do it again...over & over again...

I am a huge 50cent fn and I was extremely disappointed. The music was louder than the mic so you couldn't tell whether the artist was lip singing. Young buck was extremely rude and disrespectful by pouring bottles of water on the crowd intentionally! Like we were not at Summer Jamm. Sound quality was just beyond poor, and I was extremely dissapointed. Even the presentation. Was horrible.

Exceeded expectations. The group who performed was awesome and the venue was set up the best. Staff was great

I'm a 50 year old female that loves 50cent! Not only do I enjoy his music but I appreciate his business mind! He's such a down to earth guy that can easily relate to his fans. I'm looking forward to the release of his new album and new show. Thanks 50 for giving this 50 year old mother of three an awesome day with her three adult children!

ICE KING OF DANCE says 50 cent knows music so once he brings the good music everything else just falls into place. case and point the 6am call in at central park. show, incredible. music timeless he brought up a good point to one of his saying some things just never get old

The weather was nice and I enjoyed myself. 50 cent still got it.

I like this concert it was very organized and the stage set up was great except couple time we couldn't hear 50 cent voice due to some sound engineering malfunction but the rest was nice I'll definitely recommend u guys to give it a try !!

Wish he could have more time to do more songs, Joe was an awesome surprise!

Classic performance very chill atmosphere really would love to come again

We arrived around 5:30 and stood online until a little after 6:00, they let us in. The dancers was practicing on stage non stop for the next half hour in front of everybody, okay it happens but then 50 also practiced 3 songs for sound check in front of everybody, however once the show started, so much for sound check bc 50 mic didn't work for half of a song. He performed the same 3 songs he practiced. He did his thing but it was so unorganized. Even the interview segment was a disaster bc you couldn't hear what was being said and I was close to the stage, among the first people there. Overall you got what you paid for which was nothing bc it was free.. After they brung 50 back out to perform a song over again bc of whatever reasons, I just left. I love me some 50 but it wasn't worth getting up @ 3:30 in the morning and all that. Next time il just pay to see him in concert.

We had the perfect spot, the crowd was friendly, my son hot to hold the #50centongma sign, but unfortunately, someone stole his sign and he was heartbroken. Tom Kelly is a great hype guy.

The event was great. We love 50 Cent. He performance was off the hook and left us wanting more of his oldies. It was spectacular because I shared it with my daughter who is 18. She knew the words to his songs even though she is from another generation. We are loyal fans. WE LOVE YOU FIFTY!

It was a bright clear day in NYC that made it even more enjoyable to watched a great rapper from Queens NY!!!

Everything from the sound to the visuals were on point.....The theater was clean and well organized, staff were helpful and everyone just had a good time to all of 50's timeless classics, the man was on stage for nearly 3 hours lol

I was upset that he cancelled the show I initially had tickets for in NY but after seeing him in AC he made up for it. From the beginning to the end the concert was AWESOME!!!!!! He came on late but for me that wasn't a problem because I got there 2 hours late and got there 5 mins after he got on stage and I kept getting closer and closer to the front! He went through so many songs old and new that I loved and overall the energy was great!!! I'm trying to get to the next one in CT and end up at that mansion..lol After the show my friend and I hung around the casino and ran into DJ Whoo Kid and Tony Yayo...they were very pleasant and chill....GGGGUUNNNNIIITTTTTT!

50 Cent was phenomenal despite Jay Electronica's no show!! 50 and G-Unit had about 6 wardrobe changes, were very interactive with the crowd and performed for 2 unbelievable hours. House of Blues is a wonderful venue for the intimacy most fans desire.

Great Concert!! It was pretty much a G-Unit show\u2026..50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and DJ Whoo Kid.....some unknown R+B brotha\u2026.and Floyd Mayweather for no reason!!!..I loved it!... The G-Unit rocked for about 90 minutes......started around 9:20..ended around 10:50......If you haven't seen this Queens hustla perform before, do yourself a favor and go whie you still can. There's a lot of performers out there to choose from these days, but few put on a better show than Cuurrrrrrrrrttttttttttttiiiiiissssssssss! Ha ha....The boy got too many classic tracks to peroform in 1 show, but I'll give it to him....he got through most of them! On a side note, it was good seeing homie up there with all the original members too. Banks, Yayo, and DJ Whoo Kid were all there giving the right mix or energy and emotion! G Unit was definitely in the building!...GGGGGUNIT!

Had a blast best concert ive ever been to in my life. 50 cent represents good hip hop and he was the only rapper to bring so many rappers together in one night. Great event hope that is done every year.

It was so bad because 50 Cent showed up at 2am! And the ticket says at 9pm so I waited 5 hours to see him!!! I just wasted my time

I love 50 so much, so I drove 8 hours away from New York to Ohio to see him. The only thing was the ticket said he was from 9 to 11. This guy didn't even show up till like 1:30 and the club closed at 2 so he wasn't there very long. But the time he was on was amazing I was right up by the stage. I love him!!!!!! I don't care what anyone says 50 never fell off!!!!!

Event was advertised as being from 9-12. We were there from 10-1:30, with no sign of 50. We left without ever seeing him.

Great show from the beginning to the end. Great energy performance from all of the artist. Chris Brown and 50 shared the stage very well together. The DJ's, the music simply fantastic. I loved every minute of it!

This was a great concert it was such a fun time everyone who came out was amazing I had never heard of supernatural and he blew my mind on how dope he was! I had a great time especially when Chris came out that shit was lit!!!

Took too long to bring out the artist and last DJ was horrible! When it finally did crack off it was epic

From the begining to the end, it was great to the last drop! Didn't want it to end! High energy performance with the billion dollar smile of 50Cent! Everyone swayed in elation! Classics and new soon to be classics had me mesmerized as was the crowd! The entire atmosphere and my Effen Cocktail made for a truly awesome experience! Let's make this an Annual Epic Event! Its my first time i saw him.He is nothing less but a Legend. He could just come there and make comedy show, drop some funny jokes and get the hell out of there and that would be still awesome. It is like 50 came alive from my childhood, through the dymics of my CDplayer so it was kinda time travel adventure. So the whole bunch of goddamn feeling was like something unreal happended to me.so that was about the impression Fifty gave to me. And his performance was just top level

He started on time (YAAHH). The DJ pumped up the crowd. 50 looked healthy and solid. Yayo & Lloyd Banks looked good. The sound system was great. The only thing was 50 needs to walk the WHOLE stage. Stayed too much on his right side. Came down to the left not as much as he needed to. OH, WE GOT FREE EFFEN VOLKA TIXS. NICE!!! THANKS FOR THAT! The fact that the tixs were so reasonable really shows that 50 Cent is a true Champion of PEOPLE. I took my son and his friend. Two special needs adults. OTHER THAN THAT VERY 'NJOYABLE. We saw Lloyd Banks in Brooklyn a few years back. He made us wait 4 hours for his performance, on Easter EVE. So thanks, 50 for respect the concept of TIME!!!! Hee-hee.

Venue is top notch, 50 cent did his thing, Akon was weak though.

Stood in line and then waited hours for 50 to finally take the stage and do part of a few songs for 20'minutes.

I've seen 50 with G-Unit 3 times and each show was amazing, with this one being no exception! All the guys put forth 100% and put on a fun show! Nice mix of old and new songs by 50 and G-Unit, but the sound was not the best (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). The sound was a little muffled so it took a few seconds to tell which songs they were performing when they switched from one to another. The venue was by far the worst I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. I would not go to the Carrier Dome for another concert (or probably anything for that matter) if the Pope himself was there!

I went to this concert with for my wife as she is an old 50 cent fan. We arrived an hour late and still had to sit through over an hour of the opening DJ act. The DJ played music completely unrelated to the main act, and there was not a single song of note or interest. The acoustics for 50 cent and G-unit were horrendous. I think it might just be the nature of the Carrier Dome, because it was pretty clear that the group was trying very hard to get it right. Unfortunately, the acoustics were so poor that you couldn't really make out distinct lyrics which is important for rap music. The event was an experience that we are not looking to repeat.

For all the hype of 50 cent coming to the Dome was anything but.. He lost his voice and mostly performed songs that no one had a clue what they were. When he would do a throw back the crowd was pumped and then two verses later it was over. It's pretty sad when the targeted demographic were sitting down and over half the people left by the middle of the show. Very disappointing!

There was not opening act, looks like J-Elec didn't make it. It was a 2 hour wait for 50, they could have sent someone from G-Unit out. The intro was great, but the crowd was not really live becasue they had to wait so long, good energy to start, but he didn't interact w/ the crowd for a long time, 50 was just ripping through the set, playing all the hits, jumped around alot in the catalog. Overall there wasn't much flow to the actual show, it seemed like he, Yayo and Banks were just going through the motions. Probably would have been better if he was promoting an album, heard a few new songs, but could get into then w/o a set-up. He played alot of tracks, man 50 has been out there while. It was cool to see him, but I don't really know why he was touring at the moment, it was either too late from the last album or too early for the new one, but he didn't seem to want to be there.

50 was awesome.....the whole place was rocking!! Only problem is doors were at 7pm and he didn't come out until 10pm so there was an awful lot of pushing and shoving up until then. But....he was worth the wait and came out right away with a bang!!! Awesome!!!

Concert was by far the best night of my life. I've been dying to see 50 since 2001 and tonight was my chance. It was the show of a lifetime minus waiting 4 hours in line only to have people cut with the 'pass the line program' that i was NOT made aware of which was really irritating and then waiting 3 more hours inside because Jay Electronica didn't show up. The wait was rediculous but i would wait again for 50 in a heartbeat!

DDDDD-DOPE It's nice to see a quality rap performance.

I cant have any compliants about 50's performance.. House of Blues kinda sucked though... if you went to the bar for drinks the bartenders would mae you wait forever whether you were a chick or a guy.. luckily we had seats and a waitress and just tipped her good.... the place was soooo hot must have been about 80 degrees not sure why there wasnt an AC on.. Jay Electronica never showed up which i didnt really care... even was supose to start at 7:00 no opening act we got there around 815 and 50 didnt come on until the place starting booooing at 945... i must say he was awsome though so after everything that sucked I still had a really good time..

Doors opened at 7, show was supposed to start at 8. Guess what time the show started? 9:30! Artists these days don't seem to have any respect for their fans and the fact that we paid a lot of money to go see them and its a weeknight and most of us have to work in the morning. It would have been nice if it started on time. Once it did start, the show was great! 50 looks great and my friends and I had a good time.

Besides the fact that we had to wait hours to see 50 and company I can only assume it was because the opening act had bailed for some reason.

OMG..he was amazing..the venue is wonderful..its small and i had seats 2 rows from the stage...he was full of energy..looked absolutely gorgeous......he is a great guy....a sweetheart.....i love all of his music and he performed wonderfully with Lloyd Banks and Yayo.....didnt like the pushy crowd...but the concert was surreal...

50 was too late getting out on the stage. I'm not talking about 1/2 hour I'm talking two hours, with only one open up who no one knew who he was, and who was very ghetto. Too much of a lapse from the open up til 50 came on.

50 cent was amazing ! It was a total surprise that Llyod Banks & Tony Yayo were there, but of course that made it all more AMAZING ! They ALL put on an awesome show ! They interacted with the audience & threw out numerous hats, shirts ( of their own) !!! Tony Yayo would take fans cameras on stage & take pictures of himself, Banks & 50! 50 also pulled a young kid on stage & let him perform a song with him. Words really can't express how awesome these guys were ! I'm already looking for tickets to see them again!!

50, Lloyd, ya-yo....didn't disappoint...I loved it. I was surprised to see the whole crew there!

50 Cent was fabulous, and Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo were great!! They had EVERYONE up and moving. They played for 2 hours, and the energy on the stage and in the crowd was up the whole time. I totally enjoyed it!

The show started late as expected but 50 Cent and the rest of the G-unit performed great. We had an awesome time. At first we complained about the place being so small but it was actually one of the better shows I've been too. We were able to see him up closed as opposed to the civic center where the seat are really far unless you purchase every expensive tickets. Again we had an awesome time. Nana :)

The show was a big dissappointmet....50 is not the man he used to be you couldn't understand a word he said!!

I think this years gunit tour was more put together than ever, I wish 50 would have done some older songs but yayo and banks have allot of energy,

I've been to over 20 concerts and that incldes seeing 50 3 times. This might have been the best concert ever . Only concert that ranks with this was up in smoke

Show was over 1 1/2 hours. It was packed with hits and new material and music flowed the entire time. There were wardrobe changes along with rappers and band rotating in and out. This kept the music going and the crowd all pumped up. 50 really takes charge of the show and at some points is backing up the others - plus dousing Lloyd Banks and others with Vitamin water on-stage. For the crowd in front of the stage on the floor, money rained down from the ceiling frequently and there are towel, hats, and shirts always being flung out.
