If you love Queen, then you will surely love the Queen Extravaganza! Marc Martel sounds so much like Freddy Mercury, I'm sure he is smiling from Heaven:) The rest of the band is truly wonderful, but it was hard to hear Jennifer Esposito singing.

I got these tickets for my birthday after hearing a snippet of it on the radio station I listen to. I should have read more into it before ordering. The guy the played on the radio (the third guy to sing in the show and who did most of the talking to the audience) was beyond phenomenal. He should be doing lead vocals for the entire show. The rest of the lead singers need to stay as back up singers. Granted they sound good, but they do NOT sound like Freddie at all with the exception of the gentleman I just spoke of. The James Hetfield knock off with the long hair should get his own band doing something else and the female singer sounded more of Joan Jet than Queen. I don't know, I've seen tribute bands before and I don't necessarily expect them to sound exact, but this was WAY off! We left before it was even over. Truly disappointed with this performance.

Outstanding show. Four very different lead singers did a great job of capturing the great Freddie Mercury. I don't know how long the group has been together before hitting the road, but they sounded really good.

This was an amazing show. the group consisted of 9 members, 3 male singers, one female singer, drummer, base guitar and 2 guitars. All members performed great. Singers were awesome and guitar solo's sounded just like Brian May's solo's. They had the crowd going from the very first song until the end. If they're ever in this area again i will defenitly go see them again. Everybody will love this show!!!

To all the naysayers that bashed the version on American Idol thinking that Jennifer and Yvan had made it more like a circus. Everybody was totally awesome and this show exceeded my expectation tenfold. If they are coming to your town put the remote down for a night and just go. This tour is going to be extended and I can not wait to see them again. Every song just got better and better. I do wish they used more stage effects in the first half just the backdrops and maybe some more smoke than just coming out from under drums. But minor minor the real deal is the energy and talents that this band has and they absolutely had the Oakdale a Rockin. Everybody was spot on but I really enjoyed the energy from the two guitarists. And Jennifer is really good., but they all are. Might be getting sick Monday and driving out to Boston I can not wait for the tour extension or next tour I Want it Now

As a huge Queen fan I was looking forward to this tribute concert. I did have some doubts that it wouldn't be an appropriate tribute. I had no reason to have doubts. The show was awesome. The band was tight and the singers were outstanding. Marc Martel was outstanding and sounded almost exactly like Freddie Mercury. He hit "Somebody to Love" and "Don't Stop Me Now" out of the park. If you are a Queen fan you need to see this concert !!!!

I have a moment in life I will cherish forever. I got to stand on a chair in Row 2 dead center in 1980 & share the spotlight with Freddie Mercury & Brian May. Unforgettable!! This show offers the chance for the younger set to get in touch with the brilliance, flair & style that is Queen. The reproduction of studio classics was nearly flawless. The set list devine. While the band lacks the stage presence of the real Queen, the harmony & instrumental work are all first rate. Queen's roots & influence are all around us. You owe it to yourself to see this version of the band to get a glimpse into one of rock's all-time unique champions.

Wow, what a show! Starts off with an 80's hair band version of "We Will Rock You," and just keeps going. There is one main lead, the amazing Marc Martel, though 3 others take turns singing (incl one woman). With 9 band members on stage, the group is able to achieve Queen's legendary choir-like harmonies, and it's something to behold. I'm only familiar with Queen's bigger hits, so there were a lot of songs I didn't know, but I enjoyed them all the same. If you're on the fence about buying tickets - don't be! Buy them fast b/c the more publicity this show gets, the quicker tickets will sell out.

All the songs worked, some were quite good, and there were several astounding moments. Studio arrangements presented with the live juice that you might expect from a group of kids, so it was something even fans who've seen Queen live have not experienced before. Several good singers, with Martel lifting the proceedings to transcendental heights. Twin lead guitars did justice to Brian May's studio wizardry. There were moments when I could not believe what I was seeing and hearing. These are not impersonators, they do pay tribute to the gusto, power, and fun of the music of Queen. Whether or not you are a fan of the originals, go and you will have a great night.

The music was great. All the songs from Queen you want to hear. Guitars and drummer were extremely good. You will be surprised in that it does take four different singers to cover all of the versatility that Freddy Mercury had, but the singers do a great job. It was the right length for a concert.

I thought this could be very cheesy. I was SO WRONG. It was amazing. The band was fantastic but the real star of the show is Marc Martel. You're going to think this is sacrilegious - but there were times when he was BETTER then Freddie. He's THAT good. You have to see it to believe it. I can't for the life of me figure out why Brian May and Roger Taylor aren't touring with Marc. He is the closest thing to Freddie there has ever been (Since Freddie). Just LOVED IT!!!

Queen Extravaganza rocked the Pageant and showed longtime Queen fans and new ones what Queen's music means to us all. Nine terrific musicians performed a wide range of Queen hits with some obscure titles, all with great energy and wonderful talent. The two guitarists were wonderful, playing both to the crowd and off one another, they made Brian May proud. A terrific bassist, a great drummer and a keyboard artist rounded out the music side. Four vocalists filled the parts of Freddie, Brian and Roger and all did outstanding. They didn't just do covers, they interpreted the songs and added their own emotions. And the harmonies of the nine were outstanding. There were too many highlights but Bohemian Rhapsody was terrific, among 25+ others. And I never thought I would ever hear Who Wants to Live Forever live but it was here. A haunting beautiful tune brought to life. Just amazing. Just go see this show. I'd see it again tomorrow, if I could. Do not miss it.

I have never written a review for a concert before, although I have been to over 200 (mostly hair bands and classic rock). I felt compelled to write a review for this show because it is not well know, as a service to my fellow rockers. With a Bon Jovi or Styx or (fill in the blank) concert, you usually know what you are getting. I consider myself a big Queen fan (not a huge one). I know their hits but not their more obscure songs. But due to my experience, I do know a great show when I see one. And this is one helluva show! Lights, video, singers (all NINE of them), awesome sounds, musicianship and harmonies......simply amazing. Two guys do most of the singing, Jeff Scott Soto (ex Journey) and Marc Martel. I've seen Soto a few other times with various bands. Other members take turns doing a song. Some do the "low note" songs, others do the high ones. But they ALL can sing. Which made me realize just how unique and talented Freddy was. The show lasted about 2.5 hours with an intermission. Due to the venue that I saw it in, and the amazing production, It felt kinda like at a rock musical vice a rock concert. But that's what Queen was...."high style" arena rock, with precise timing and soaring vocals. These guys hit on all cylinders, and even the ushers (most in their 50s & beyond) were seen jamming along with us. The music was just too overwhelming! The band hung out in the lobby after the show for a meet and greet, and were very gracious. And all this for about 20 bucks plus beer. All I can say is "THANK YOU!, Queen Extravanganza". I hope to see you again soon.

This was a great show. The hand-picked performers were all top-notch, and I love how it was done in a true Queen Rock Show style. It was loud, proud, and definitely wowed! Marc Martel did a great job not only as lead singer on most songs, but also as the main MC. I had seen the keyboardist, Brandon Ethridge, in Rock of Ages, and he was as awesome as ever. I loved that they did some of Queens lesser-known songs, it shows their amazing range of talent in music. This show was well worth the 5 hour drive to attend.

These guys and gal were amazing! The singing was great, the guitars were incredible, the keyboard - fabulous! and the drums - WOW! They played for over 2 hours, had a greeting time after and just nailed it. The only downside was the bright flashing lights that were pointed right at the audience - but it wasn't that big of a deal. There were a couple of songs I didn't know at all and that surprised me but they were performed well and enjoyable.

If you are a Queen fan this concert is a must see. I've been a Queen fan for almost 40 years now and have pretty much all their albums/tapes/CDs/DVDs. I attended a handful of the original group's concerts and the tour featuring Paul Rodgers as lead singer, as well as the tribute show An Evening with Queen. All were great, but this concert was absolutely awesome! If I didn't know Freddie wasn't there I would've sworn it was him singing. The rest of the band was great too. The left-handed lead guitarist with long wavy hair reminded me of a young Brian May. The drummer/singer was great and really did the Roger Taylor's job and, I'm sure, made him proud. The bassist was really good too, doing his best to fill John Deacon's shoes. The keyboardist and female singer were good also. If you like or love Queen, GO SEE THIS SHOW! Trust me.

A few words about this show - it pretty much started on time, always a good thing. Hershey theater is always a great place to see a live show, it always sounds great. The performers in the band were all great. It was good to see that the lead singer had the vocal range necessary to cover Freddy's voice. Guitars were spot on and the arrangements of the music were fantastic, especially where they had the female singing (Jennifer Espinoza). The lighting, although too bright at times, was also great. Now for my only real complaint, and it's a pretty serious one. For the money that they charged for this show, it was entirely too short. They came out on stage and played the first set, and forty minutes later, went back for a 20 minute break. They came back on and played for almost 50 minutes, then the show was over. For $60.00 bucks a ticket, barely 90 minutes of playing time is simply ridiculous, especially with the extensive library of Queen music with which to draw from. Producers of this show need to look at this and give people their money's worth. Although the show was rather good, I cannot recommend for people to spend the money that they are asking to see this show based solely on the lack of value. If you're only going to play half a show, you had better only charge half the price of admission! For what it's worth, I went to see one of Mr. Greengenes farewell shows recently. $10.00 bucks to see well over 3 hours of high energy entertainment. Now that's value!

Pros: The band musically is very talented and truly excellent, faithfully reproducing the tunes exactly as they are on the original records. Sound quality and stage lighting were excellent as well. Mark reproduced Freddie's voice exceptionally well, and there are moments when you truly felt you were watching Freddie performing live in front of you. Song selection included some obscure songs that were not major hits and only known to die hard Queen fans. Cons: Sound was painfully loud at times. There were alot of extremely bright white flood lights which completely blinded the audience. While Jennifer is a great singer in her own right, she sounds nothing like Freddie. The fact that she sang the lead on so many songs was a major letdown. Mark probably sang lead on only maybe two thirds of the songs. I don't know if this is done to help rest Mark's voice or not. Song selection as mentioned above in the pros is also a con. A good 20% of the songs I had never heard before. Maybe include more non-hits from some of the more popular albums like News of the World and Jazz? Overall it is a fun and worthwhile show to see, and if it continues the song selection will probably evolve as well.

..but not great either. We have seen "A Night With Queen" twice and we prefer their performance over Queen Extravaganza. The lead singer in QE has a gorgeous voice, but the lead singer in the other group looks like Freddie Mercury, sounds like Freddie Mercury and moves like Freddie Mercury. Also, the Hershey Theater, as beautiful as it is, is too small for such performances. We also saw Trans Siberian Orchestra there and it was just way to loud for that venue. In both cases we took a limo and when we came out of the theater the driver asked us if it was loud enough...he could hear it while parked outside.

While one can hide some lack of musicality with volume and lots of flashing lights, in the end much of it didn't sound like Queen, wasn't delivered in the same manner Queen delivered and, while the female member of the band has a terrific voice, nothing in the Queen playbook has a female voice.

I attended this show with my family. My kids loved the music, since we are Qeeen Fans. I was not won over. I guess i expected more than what i rec'd. Yes the lady singer had a good voice but she could have been used as back up vocals only, i found her to have no showmanship, and at some point i became irritated with her. The lead singer did have showmanship. I was actually finding myself looking at my watch. It is what it is. A Cover Band that has Brian's Blessing.

Who takes an intermission after 40 mins??? This show was a let down in several ways. As a die hard Queen fan, there was no way the female lead singer had any connection to either the voice or showmanship of Freddie. Marc Martell channelled Freddie and was marvelous. The show was too short - 1 1/2 hrs with an intermission and encores, and the songs with the female lead were terrible. Roger and Brian could have done more with Marc and a longer show- some less commercial songs as well!

This show was good. The band was awesome. The male singer was great. I could have done without the female singer. You couldn't hear her. Her voice wasn't strong enough. Saw Queen Xtravaganza show in Philly 2012 at the TLA and this show 2013. Both were amazing. The music was awesome, the singing is as close to Freddie as you can get. If you are a Queen fan, this is the show. Only complaint for Hershey venue... Seems the senior citizens who run the Theatre are not quite accustomed to hosting a rock audience. They were all quite pleasant, just surprised when people actually stood during the performance. We had front row seats (daughters HUGE Queen fans) and my 14 and 17 year old immediately stood up once they started rocking. After first set, the usher walked in front of us with a couple in their 60's and as she passed, she paused and said to us they couldn't see so I am moving their seats. When she returned by she said to us.. people don't usually stand in the theatre . We of course stated that They do if it's a rock show . We continued to stand as did a few others and completely enjoyed the show!

Just amazing! Marc Martel is a close to Freddy Mercury as you can get. He was just fantastic! Hand picked by Roger Taylor and he did a great job, best cover band I have ever seen. I go to a lot of concerts and this one just blew away what I have seen in the past. Most of the classic rock shows I go to that are all original or have some of the original band members just did not sound as tight as this show did. I loved Brian Gresh on guitar, Francois-Olivier Doyon is very talented and his smile is mesmerizing. Brandon Ethridge on keyboards, Tyler Warren on drums and Jennifer Espinoza vocals round out this group of very talentent performers. I loved all of them, I can not say enough about how great the were. Don't miss this show!! So glad I was able to get front row, only down fall to the whole show was every one just sat rather then standing up and rocking out, I tried to stand and the people behind me complained. I really hope they add some more dates in this area!!!

The first time I watched a QE concert video was a month ago. You can tell that Marc Martel wasn't confident that much on stage, yet. But after watching him last night in Regency Ballroom, He blew me away. He was moving, he was dancing, he was as if flirting with all the audiences. You can tell that they're all comfortable now with each other on stage. I was lucky I was in the front row and I saw how they interacted with each other , how they laughed, moved, changed places. It was awesome! Marc Martel's voice was so stunning! I can't believe it!! I knew the first time I watched him on youtube with his "somebody to love" video, I knew he could be the one. I know there will be haters but come on, This guy is awesome and he really sounded similar with my God, Freddie Mercury. Of course Freddie Mercury was/is/will always be the only one Queen's front man but right now I'm happy that there's Marc Martel. I was only 6yo when Freddie died but as a singer myself, I looked up to him. I always wanted to perform like he did. So let's give Marc Martel a chance. Watch him and listen to him. He's awesome. All of them though were all amazing as well. Jeff Scott Soto, OMG! Do I have to say more? Been listening to him since his Journey days. This guy is a true rocker. He's is so wonderful on stage. Confident. Amazing. When he sang "Save me", I almost fainted. =D I was so lucky I got it recorded on my retarded camera. Nope, he doesn't sound like Freddie but this guy has an attitude, an attitude of a rocker. "Under Pressure" is one of my Queen's fav song. Marc and him nailed it. They complimented each others voices. Loved it! All of them are all talented musicians. I was so lucky that I got to watch them. Thanks to Mr Roger Taylor for forming an awesome band. PS: Francois-Olivier Doyon is hot as a summer in Arizona. I was so looking forward to hear "Another one bites the dust" just to see him doing his thing. Lol He's hot. He's talented. He's a sweetheart. Watch them! They worth it!

What an incredible night! After traveling 400 miles, staying in a Vegas Hotel on a Saturday, and purchasing an extra $20 for early entry, I have to say that the Queen Extravaganza is worth every penny. The music, of course, is fantastic! The vocals are all extraordinary and blend very well. The tight harmonies, where called for, were breathtaking. There are two lead guitarists both of whom are extremely talented. There is a drum solo that is unbelievable, and they do all of the familiar Queen songs, and a few lesser-known tunes. The show is also fun and engaging as audience participation is encouraged where appropriate, yet not overdone. Marc Martel's voice just completely blows my mind. Don't go expecting to see an exact Queen knockoff (although Marc's voice is definitely reminiscent of Freddy Mercury's) and you definitely will not be disappointed. If you have the chance to see this show, take it. You will be glad you did!!

All the singers and musicians were great. Roger prepared a high quality show as all the music created by Queen. It was superb! Marte's voice and the energy of the other singers made the show special and unforgettable.

I had not heard of this show until I saw them on American Idol. Then I heard they were coming to Detroit.. What a fantasic show. This was an incredible experience. I saw Queen in the 80s and it was like reliving that moment. Roger and Brian put together a great group and should be very proud. I would see them again in a heatbeat.

Wow! The Queen Extravaganza was absolutely mind-blowing and Marc Martel is quite simply amazing! As someone who has enjoyed Queen's music since high school and then given the opportunity to hear a tribute band that included one of my favorite singers/artist, Marc Martel of the band downhere, was to say the least magnificent. A great time was had by all and I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to be there.

As an avid Queen fan, I have to recommend this show. The music, performers, staging etc were top rate. Because this tribute group was a larger group,. I especially enjoyed hearing live the Queen "studio" pieces with a full complement of voices. The musicians all seemed to be genuinely having a great time...as were the audience members. I would definitely see this show again...brought back memories. Best of all, the venues are more intimate vs large sports arenas and the tickets are affordable.

The lead who sang most of the Freddie Mercury songs was excellent! He even resembled Freddie. I would omit the female lead, not my favorite. All in all the show was a great tribute to Queen.........

If you want to hear Queen as near to the real thing then go see these guys At first your not sure if its Queen the musical however clear the first number and The Show does Go on. Two hours of mesmeric, memorable music. Its a Miracle that anyone caould be this close to the real thing. Night at the Opera it surely will be with all the very best hits of the Biggest Rock Band ever to come out of Blighty! I saw the Magic Tour in '86 at Wembley, the one seen on DVD: this is the closest I have been and seen live to those moments: go watch! You will not be dissapointed.

I went to The Queen Extravaganza with my nieces and we all didn't really know what to expect. This actually was all of our first concert and we had a great time. We heard some of our favorite songs and a great variety of the Queen music for the time we had provided. The band was able to get us on our feet and clapping and dancing with the crowd. For a tribute band the main singer as close as you can get to Freddie Mercury. The only thing we all were not fond of was when the girl singer came on. Some songs she was okay in but we preferred the guy. All in all I can't complain, I had an awesome time and really enjoyed hearing one of my favorite bands and my nieces did too!

This was an absolutely incredible show which far surpassed my expectations. 1980 Queen at MSG was my first concert ever and I was able to relive it 32 years later. The second row seats just put the icing on the cake. If you ever have the opportunity to catch this show, just do it!

They put on a excellent show and would definitely go again. Lead singer had the Freddy Mercury strut and made the show. The guitarist was terrific as well as the drummer and he is also a very good singer. Wasn't to thrilled with the girl they had, she was too hard to hear over the band which maybe was a good thing. Hope they come back again next year for we will most certainly go again.

The lead singer was unforgettable, however he should sing all the leads for the Queen songs. The Girl looked like she did not fit in the band. She must be a girlfriend of someone. The drummer has a great voice but not singing leads that involve Freddie parts. I missed the special sound of the guitar which one of the founding members of Queen made. This was a large part of the music that was so sorely missed. Over all. I would go see again if Mark would do more of the singing.

I've been to a lot of concerts over the years and I have to say this was the best one of them all. Queen is my favorite band of all time and I never got to see them perform. So, when the lead singer came out and looked so much like Freddie Mercury, it made me cry. I was there with my daughter in law and we were among the few who were dancing as they played all the great songs. Bohemian Rhapsody is still the most rockin' song ever recorded! I thought that when I was out of my seat and slightly out of my mind with happiness and they played "Tie Your Mother Down", my DIL was probably texting my son to do so! :P

The show was great. Marc Martel's voice reminded me of Freddie long before this band was put together. The musicians are awesome. The crowd was just old - and I'm 47. I felt like a teenage there. The place was sold-out or close to it, but it wasn't until well into the second half of the show (there was an intermission), that there was more then a dozen people standing and trying to rock out with the band. I don't know if its like that at other shows, or if it was because we were at a casino venue in the middle of PA, but the crowd was dead (or at least acted as if they were on life support). I didn't care. I got up and rocked out. Some people complained about people standing up, though nothing was said to me. I would have said 'its a rock concert - if you don't want to rock out, go see a Frank Sinatra tribute'. Didn't get to use it though. I'm not a disrespectful person, but c'mon!

My wife loves Queen so I took a chance on this show. Not a fan of cover bands, but this group was terrific....sounded like the real deal, especially the lead singer. The sound of the band was authentic; the musicians were amazing. Did NOT like the female singer, but this fact did not put a damper on the evening; I would have preferred the lead singer covering all the tunes but realize that's pretty unrealistic given the vocal range of the material and the stamina required. Great evening. Highly recommend.!!!

This show was G R E A T. 2 plus hours of pure entertainment. 20 or so of Queens greatest songs. I was little surprised when I saw the female singer as there was none such in Queen. However she was very good, and as the group did not try to be a Queen clone, it worked well. I heartily recommend this show to one and all.

The Bethlehem Event Center is a great intimate venue which makes any show better. These group of Musicians brought Queen back to life and took us back to the time of their greatest hits. What a great Rock and Roll show! Only point I was a little disappointed with was the young female singer, I just didn't get and often didn't understand her singing. But forgetting that it was a great show which I would gladly see again.

The choice of songs, the musicians and especially the performance from Marc was absolutely fantastic. The only issue I had was that a woman performed Queen songs! Although she did a great job, it was unexpected and I would have liked that the 2-hour show be performed by guys only - and no offense because I'm a woman! I wanted Marc to sing the entire time because he is sooooo good! :) My 23 year-old son really enjoyed the show and we stayed to meet the performers and he got his T-shirt autographed after the show. The performers were really great and they took the time to speak to each person in line. Nice touch!

This was my first concert at Hamilton Place Theatre and I was totally impressed with the sound, lighting, and comfort of the theater overall. The band was quite impressive especially the lead singer who looked and sounded like Freddy Mercury.....he was an excellent singer along with the female lead who helped out for a few songs. My few recommendations would be to add a few more Queen songs to the playlist including "Tie your Mother Down" which is an excellent opening song to get the crowd going. To try and recreate the exact Queen experience is no doubt a challenge, however I would encourage the band members to "dress" in similar fashion to the original members to obtain the "feel and look" of the band. Unfortunately the lead female singer did not look like a "rocker" but ready to visit a club in downtown Toronto.

Marc Martel is fantastic as QE frontman, and should really be the lone singer with the others serving in a backing role. Missed Tristan A. On guitar, but was still very good. Left out a few of my favorites due probably to being -2 singers, but still a fantastic show. Will go again and again as long as Marc Martel is singing. Now they need a studio album! :-)

I have been a Queen fan since the late 1970's. Saw them SO many times. I had hoped the remaining members would continue to preform, but without Freddie, it seemed that Queen Live would be forever silent. NOT SO! GO SEE! Matt's voice is ON POINT!! HIT EVERY NOTE!! Both Guitarists ROCKED OUT! (esp on Dragon Attack!) LOVED the rendition on Somebody to Love, and Love of my life! Thanks for bringing back great memories and a theatrical rock experience!

I bought these tickets for my boyfriend for Xmas (he is a pretty big Queen fan) but I was nervous not knowing what to expect of them. I myself like Queen but probably wouldn't opt to see their cover band however I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!! The lead singer sounded very much like Freddie Mercury and the lead guitarist did a nice job as well. The band as a whole sounded really good...harmonies were great! My only complaint would be that I wish they played longer! Will definitely go see them again when they're in town.
