Such an amazing experience! I took my daughter and her cousins (15 yrs old), they were so excited. They were able to get up close to the stage and got playlists and drum sticks; they even met and took pictures with Priory at the hotel before breakfast. Brandon and Kyle were so nice, the girls are still talking about it! I love that they loved the whole experience! It was beautiful! Downside: need more shade and sitting areas (for the moms in the back). And maybe sell some coke or Pepsi products for the non-drinkers...that is all.

The venue was unique in its own ways, the only complaint was the VIP section....General Admission had a better view, better access and more accessibility to view the shows. The main stage VIP area looked like General Admission but General Admission had a better position. The Ambassador stage was more VIP style with the Kettle One tent and the Lobster for Sunday night but the way the VIP crowd was positioned, we could see the artist perform. Dizzy Wright and Little Dragon was close to the edge which was a visual blessing to view from the side but A-Trak and Skrillex wasn't fully visible. Sound was amazing, Food truck complimented the art, the art complimented the environment(walking the streets of Freemont between stages gave the festival its own unique touch). The Chef demonstration was informative, the live interviews at the western hotel was also a good touch. I commend security and first response for actually assisting outside of the normal...I witness a lot of medical situations but the most revealing one was at the main stage where a pregnant female was on her feet and the security had no issues to opening the alley gates and let her sit till the show start.

This being the inaugural year, I spent a lot of time walking around to check out the lay of the land. I thought the fact that the bars, restaurants and casinos enclosed in the festival area were open for business was great for the businesses and also nice for the attendees. There were also several food tents, a food truck area and a wine and beer garden. A green space was created in between two motels that were turned into art galleries to feature the work of local artists. There were also several murals throughout the festival area, one of which was 3-D. LIVING COLOUR I remember when Cult of Personality used to get heavy video play on MTV. These guys rocked their set. HAIM I had tried to see these sisters at Lollapalooza but the schedule was switched around and I didn t get the chance. I m glad I was able to see them this go around. They were very high energy and sounded good. JANELLE MONÁE She blew me away with her soulful voice and Motown sound. THE JOY FORMIDABLE Welsh alternative rock band I had been sick earlier in the week before flying to Vegas and the dryness was killing my sinuses so I decided to call it a night after The Joy Formidable. It was a great inaugural year. I m looking forward to seeing this festival continue. It will be interesting to see how it grows just like I ve seen Lollapalooza grow over time.

First of all, a big hats off to the organizers. Festival organizing is no simple task, but I think they nailed it this first time around. I have no complaints about any aspect of the festival, and I applaud the organizers for their efforts. For anyone who's been to Downtown Las Vegas, the transformation brought by the festival is outstanding. The sheer density of visitors and the creation of community are inspiring. Of course, the acts were great too. The schedule was probably overfull, and I expect the organizers to trim it down a little next year.

This was a the first year of what I'm hoping is many more years to come, of the Life is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas. It was fabulous. As an avid concert/festival goer, this event was extremely well run. We saw two of our very favorite bands perform, Imagine Dragons and The Killers. It was a typical festival setup near the stage - line up early outside gates and make your way quickly to the front barrier and be prepared to wait all day. But the supporting bands were very good, at the Downtown Stage, and we enjoyed seeing bands we were not as familiar with. Because it was the first year, there were a few minor bugs to work out, but they didn't detract from our experience at all.

So glad Vegas finally got a music festival. Was a pretty unforgettable experience on the streets downtown. It definitely made it a unique experience. Sometimes unique isn't good though, perhaps next year we can conform and find a field somewhere to hold it. There has to be a large enough park somewhere in Vegas right? Somewhere that we can have a seat in the grass when we are tired and relax. Even if we can't get grass next year, make sure there is a next year.

One of the craziest festivals i have ever been too. Out of the 5 festivals i have attended in the past this one was so unreal and the venue was just so interesting. I feel like this festival is just so much more than just food and music, it delves into freedom and expression of yourself through different types of art throughout the venue.

I had a great time. The venue was a little confusing since it was located in the city. What would have made this event perfect is if the killers and empire of the sun wouldn't have played at the same time. Other than that it was well organized. Good job guys

Vegas did it right! This was an amazing music festival, with a mind blowing line up. The Killers stole the show (they were on home turf after all), but Imagine Dragons, Passion Pit, Vampire Weekend, and Capital Cities all put on great shows as well. Food selection was fabulous (probably 50 different restaurants churning out some great food), and a huge beer and wine selection. Only gripes were could have used better shuttle/taxi service to the strip, and need more diversity of beer outlets around the facility.

2013 was the inaugural year of the Life is Beautiful Festival. I was very curious to see how it would be laid out since was being held in downtown Las Vegas. The music festivals I have been to thus far have either been in a city park or a parking lot. The parking lot experience was miserable so I was a bit concerned about this festival being held in an area that did not have a lot if any green space. Like most people, if I go to Vegas I spend my time on The Strip. I haven t spent a lot of time in downtown before, but decided to stay downtown so that I could easily walk to and from the festival. Downtown has definitely changed. There are quite a few nice restaurants and bars plus a new hotel that was scheduled to open not long after the festival ended. I would assume that the organizers and chamber of commerce put this festival together to showcase the changes that have been made in downtown. I was definitely impressed. ZZ WARD She sounded great and got the crowd going by encouraging us to clap and sing along. BEAU HODGES BAND I had never heard of this local Vegas band prior to this festival. They a mix of blues, country and rock. ALABAMA SHAKES This is a band I have been wanting to see for a while. Brittany Howard s voice is so powerful and soulful. They sound just like they do on the radio. DAWES I saw Dawes in 2010 and 2012 at Lollapalooza. I was excited to see that they were playing a small intimate set in the Toyota Tent. Unfortunately the tent was too close to the Downtown Stage and they were only able to perform two songs before they were drowned out by Imagine Dragons. KINGS OF LEON This was one of the first shows Kings of Leon has done in about two years. I was very excited to finally get a chance to see them. Their stage production looked pretty cool, but I was too far back to see everything. They sounded great and I would definitely want to see them again. I think it was a good first day for Life is Beautiful.

I'm already having withdrawal symptoms. For being the first Life Is Beautiful festival ever, everything went extremely well. There's food everywhere you turn, cooked up by various high-end restaurants in Las Vegas, but for a lower price (compared to what they'd usually charge! may still be considered a bit pricey for some). Art is everywhere...gorgeous murals now cover up the once vacant, dull walls. The music was JUST GREAT!! So many bands you can discover, so much art to marvel on, and so much food to enjoy...I'm so proud to have this festival take over the streets of my own town. Las Vegas needed this. I strongly recommend this event.

Imagine dragons and the killers were epic! The venue was creative and fun! A lot of trash though but, I blame lazy festival goers. The mixed drinks were $13 and in a Cup the size of a Dixie cup! Lame! Wine was $9 and I swear it was in a plastic shot glass! I am allergic to gluten so beer was not an option for me. The food venders were amazing and priced appropriately. I was not able to catch everything I wanted due to time walking to one place to the other but, I was mostly there for the music. Overall it was a great experience and I am planning on going next year!

Location was great. Bands were terrific. Favorites Empie of the Sun, Imagine Dragons, Beck, Charli xcx, Portugal the Man, Alabama shakes. The stages were great, loved the side screens. Enjoyed the art work. The garden area was very nice. Food vendors had a great selection of diverse foods. Did not visit any of the culinary shows. Cocktails were alittle pricey, but to be expected. I don't feel the VIP ticket got me much more than the 99$ ticket the rest of my group purchased. The lounge was so packed there was no place to sit. The position wasn't that great either. I found I had a better seat in the handicapped section where I could sit regardless of what ticket I purchased. The only perk was the bar near the entrance that offered VIP free drinks and a massage or lipstick bar. Empire of the Sun was the best performance ever, what a way to end a great weekend. Plus it was my birthday. Best birthday Thank you !

Our group of 8 that came from Cleveland had an amazing time at the festival. Absolutely unforgettable. Amazing line-up of bands. Good food. Our only two recommendations for future life is beautiful festivals are the following: way more trash cans and some form of seating around the venue. These two things were a distinct issue to most patrons we spoke with throughout the weekend. By seating, it could have been as simple as intermittent benches, picnic tables, lawn chairs... Anything to rest your feet and soul between gigs... Not just at food court area. The garbage was overwhelming. Even a conscientious guest would have a difficult time finding somewhere to throw your trash away. That being said, I absolutely would go again next year and I am confident that tweaks will be made based on it being the first year. Some of my group went one day, while others of us went both. I would go again for 2 days without a doubt!

I am a Las Vegas local who loves all the cool things that are transforming downtown Las Vegas. I love the history of this city and respect all that came before, but it is amazingly cool to see a whole section of this town re-invent itself into this young, hip, urban environment. I am aware there was a lot on the line to secure that this inaugural year of LIB was a success. YOU KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! HONESTLY, REALLY A SPECTACULAR WEEKEND! My only feedback: 1) I downloaded the LIB app and did the work to discover all the speakers and art aspects and cooking....not to mention the bands. I know the bands were the big draw and sell, but really I felt that this festival was a "learning series of interesting people, art, food and beer" that also happened to have a world class stage of cool bands. So I went both days and spent 10 hours each day inside the festival. I had a plan and knew what I wanted to do. I was also mindful to take it absolutely all in, so as I local I was entitled to a valid opinion when the local naysayers start their banter (they always do). It seemed like not everyone was aware of all the cool elements, other than the music. It should almost be a requirement to download the app in order to maximize your experience. The app I found invaluable and was the #1 reason I am certain my experience was great. The map, the time tables, the bio's....all at my fingertips. 2) Although I was 100% aware of the recycling effort and the "High Five Program," I think I might have been the only one. Despite recycling myself, no presence of volunteers to recognize and reinforce what LIB was trying to do on that front at the bins or around the festival in general (other than at the front gate). No big deal on my end, but if you want to change habits, you have to make sure the reinforcement is there to solidify that. We Las Vegas the city don't have a good grip on recycling yet, but I liked that LIB was trying. This just needs to be rethought a touch. 3) MORE TRASH CANS IN GENERAL! Inside the festival was very clean and appeared very organized, but especially near the Downtown Stage, trash on ground was embarrassing. There was a different feel for the cleanliness in that area of the festival, versus other areas of the festival. Garbage cans were full quickly and not often dumped. The workers in charge of dumping trash did not appear to be on the hustle so much in making sure the festival "looked clean." This just need to be rethought a bit or maybe the company in charge of doing this needs to be rethought. 4) TECHNOLOGY COULD NOT KEEP UP! This was a disappointment and not sure how to fix, but it seems if you are pitching the socially connected demographic of live/work environments of the "new" downtown, not being able to properly get texts or to Instagram or Facebook or other....seemed defeating of the bigger picture of the Downtown Project and such. It was the worst near the Downtown stage. I suppose 20,000 people all trying to use cell phone technology at the same time was a hefty goal in many ways, but one that clearly needs to be fixed. It seemed it was the general consensus of others I saw and spoke to as well. 5) Pop up acts like Cirque and Absynthe....perfect and I loved that they were almost like "pop up" stuff. Great enviroment and loved that they were "pre set" but then just popped up out of nowhere in a way. My criticism if really minor though compared to my sincere peacock feathered proud chested moment I am feeling now and how our city now appears on the worldwide music festival map. JOB WELL DONE! I think I need to switch gears in my life and work for LIB....Sarah Ning, Las Vegas, NV

I saw ZZ Ward, Youngblood Hawke, Capitol Cities, Imagine Dragons, Jurassic 5, Allen Stone, Passion Pit, Vampire Diaries, and The Killers!! I had a great time. Besides audio issues and limited seating there wasn't anything negative to report. The food was good and in good portions. The drinks were pretty small but it's Vegas so that's normal. It looked like beer was the way to go versus cocktails. The mayor came through with security during The Killers. Was pretty silly having an already crammed crowd move to accommodate her and her huge security guards. I think she can afford a VIP ticket next year. Recommendation for next year is to have a seated area for eating not just for VIP. Met some amazing locals. Rocco I love you ;)

We had a great time! There was a delimma on Sunday with the entrance due to a pole falling but they were quick to get it resolved and we all got through in a timely manner. The only con I have is I wish they would have given the headliners towards the end of the night more playing time. All in all it was great and we will definitely be back in the future!

The festival itself was really fun. The price of the ticket was low, for the amount of great bands that we saw. More on that later, lets get the complaining out of the way. The other prices were completely over the top ridiculous. I think that paying $13.00 for a weak vodka-tonic was *beyond*. Only bought a vodka because they didn't sell any gin(?) at the event. Another issue was the rule stating that no back packs were allowed, so I brought a tiny bag. And then I saw tons of others with their backpacks. There was also a couple (not many) of scheduling issues, typical for a festival, I guess. ALSO, not enough trash cans by a long shot. Halfway through day 1, they were overflowing and trash was all over the ground. I also thought the festival should have stayed open later than after the closing acts. Lastly, I would complain that when I bought my tix, no single day tickets were offered or available. I would have opted to do one day only, if given the choice. Kind of rude to release single day tickets right before the event. That's it for the negatives. The talent they booked was amazing, and the Killers are the reason that I bought the tickets. Imagine Dragons were fantastic on night 1, and should have headlined that night. We left before Kings of Leon, because I think they stink. So we walked and enjoyed the art installations and extremely over priced food and drinks. Day 2 we got our spots at the Downtown Stage around 4, close to the stage, right by the barrier. We saw Jurassic 5, (still great after all this time), Passion Pit (SO FUN and energetic), Vampire Weekend (amazing) and of course, the Killers! The Killers are by far the best live band out there. The die hard fans know every word to every song and we rocked and partied the whole time. The whole place was insane for them! I would rate their performance as 5 stars, but gave the festival a 4 because they can do better. I would love to go back next year and see a some of the improvements. Since it was the inaugural fest, of course there will be things that need tweaking. Overall so much fun, and a beautiful weekend!

As a first event I am very impressed. The Good Lots of Diverse Musical talent. Whoever put the music together. THANK YOU Chef presentations were cool. Not something you usually get to see. Art. Nice they included it. I love Art. I am a new fan of Nico Vega, Childish Gambino, Haim and Janelle Monae. Already a fan of Imagine Dragons, The Killers and Vampire weekend. I had a great time. The Bad Lots of great food (or so it looked like) but very little seating. I am not paying that much to stand and eat. Chef tents were air conditioned. However, you could not hear the presention when AC was on. Most stands that had Beer had Heineken and Heineken Light. Major Fail. Tried one. Yuck. Saved me money and others as well. Never been to an event with NO line for beer. Beer garden had other beers but not convenient to concerts so just skipped it. Great selection of wine served in the tiniest of glasses maybe two shots of wine for $8 and up. Had a couple but just wasn't worth it. Again they saved me money. Art. Had some good art but a lot looked very amateur.

Been to countless music festivals and I have to say this one was one of my favorites! It was artistically and visually amazing. The Vegas street lights and backdrop alone was perfect for the setting. Although some stages were small for the size crowd, they did their best to work with the existing space and structures. The food was the best ever the selection and quality And the Porta potties were the cleanest I have ever used at a festival. That's important :)

Initially I was disappointed so many groups overlapped. Had to choose between lots of favorites- Jurassic5 or Janelle Monae; Beck or Childish Gambino? J5 rocked as always and "edutained" the crowd. Childish Gambino brought 100% energy as he and his crew often do. The only down side was no live Silk Pillow or Toxic odd since Danny Brown was in the building. The highlight of the festival was of course hometown favorites The Killers. The group went full throttle the moment they stepped on stage. The finale of When You Were Young electrified the crowd and kept us hyped and singing the chilly six block walk to the nearest cab at the concert's end.

This year's festival was great in many ways. Great lineup, bettter outlay of festival grounds, easier entry/exodus, festival felt safe and secure to attend. Loved the Dancetronics stage and the fire performers there. Loved the little troupe of roaming Lionel Ritchie pusher girls (my term of endearment for the conga train/line) I am exceedingly disappointed in the arrangements you made for the speakerseries. You had that whole building to use to make room for seating for the speaker series. IT was wasted, and the lines for being able to get to attend the series were impossible. Limiting that was a mistake. And it was excessively disappointing to not be able to see Pussy Riot present. I'm still not over missing that opportunity because of poor planning on the part of festival producers. Please, do better next year. Recycling worked this year, and that was truly thrilling! You did a great job recovering from the garbage/recycling debacle of 2013. Nice work, great improvement!

2nd year of festival. The layout of the festival was better than in the first year. Better seating for the food venues, more diversity in food and beverages, etc. Awesome diversity of acts Panic at the Disco, Echosmith, Broken Bells, Fitz and Tantrums, Neon Trees, OK Go, St Lucia, St. Paul and Broken Bones, Catfish and Bottleman, and many more....

Forget about Coachella, people. It's hot, there are a lot of people there, and you have to camp. LIB is where it's at. You can stay at teh Golden Nugget, walk in and out of the festival if you don't want to pay for expensive beer, and the weather is fantastic. The food here is incredible. The chefs really outdo themselves every year. The art is fantastic. It is apparent how hard the artists work. Lastly, the music. INCREDIBLE. The Foo Fighters closed the festival this year and I couldn't be happier. They are my favorite band and they nailed that show! Closed LIB and changed my life forever.

It is hard to compare the first life is beautiful to the second yr but, overall, 2014 was better in many ways. I feel like the event staff listened to the reviews from 2013 and took action to make things better. The 3 days was better than having 2. The musical acts were separated more and strategically timed so that you may not miss as much. I love the fact that they brought in over 70,000 sq ft of grass. OMG that made a heck of a difference and to sit and be right in front of one of the stages, on grass, made it so relaxing. More seating with the swings available, more tables and chairs, the separation of the food was also a brilliant idea. That way i could try something from one side when I was near one stage, than when I moved to the other stage I could try something different from that area. With adding more people, they say about 60,000 came in 2013, and expected 90,000 for 2014, it did feel like the people just treated it like any other festival, where the 2013 first yr, it was special to be apart of a new experience. Be a part of something different. More people were cheerful to each other and interactive in the 2013. So for 2015, it will be difficult to come up with new interactions for people to interact with instead of just walk briskfully by each other to go see the next musician. Especially when this festival will continue to grow over 100,000 attendees for next yr. But not much you can do but enjoy every moment and can't wait til 2015!

What a great event! For their second year running, it was a great experience. The sound system's were great, the food and drinks were amazing - no crazy long lines with all the variety and prices were decent! The location was perfect, very open and convenient for those staying in the downtown area. And above all else, the music and art were amazing! Definitely looking forward to going again next year!

Loved it. But i will say that like big headliners i wanted to see always conflicted with each other so i had to pick between people like panic at the disco and Kanye west when i love them both. So i didn't get to see some people i really really really wanted to see. that was to only thing i didn't like.

Let's start with the positive... The look & feel of the outside area was really nice. All of the stations were setup like someones backyard. They did address the lack of seating issue from last year however; ( 10 inch in diameter tree stumps) Hardly constitutes a seat but were appreciated. The occasional park benches were more suited for the venue. After an hour, it was overflowing with so many people! Completely OVERSOLD! No way to treat your VIP! The food....huge disappointment ! It really showed with the lack of Top Chef participation.! As most of the stations served tacos (the west coast hand pressed type ) being from the East coast, the thicker doughy texture is not my favorite. Last years food tapas were awesome! They were as individual as the Iron Chef's. My Favorite Kat Cora's Lamb Chop!!!! I thought this year would have been better especially with the price increase to $175.00 per person. Next year we will spend our time & money at the many delicious Vegas restaurants!

Yeah, the festival was heart thumping fun. It's been awhile since I've to one of these things. But it was exciting and great fun. The crowd was cool and just down to have a great time and to mingle eh. There was a few tech glitch with the digital tix wristbands though. Sometimes, the staff forgot to activate it after they placed it on your wrist. No big deal it was easily remedy at the entrance gates. Perhaps, the GA tix price was kind of expensive though. Along with the food concessions too.

A standout festival- very well organized. Easy entrance, bathroom, food, and booze lines. On top of that, had 3 great meals in the festival (Chophouse vender: fried chicken, Culinary Dropout: pretzel w fondue and 36hr rib, Garden Cafe: beer-battered avocado tacos). Simple, easy to understand festival map. Great lineup, especially for a fest that's only 2 years old. Tied for my personal favorite music fest with Outsidelands. Although this one is not set outside amongst trees like osl, the ease of movement between stages and fast lines all-around make it a yearly destination for me.

We went to the first one last year and decided to go to this one and bought tickets before the line up was given out. The organization, line up, thought process is amazing. They have thought of most everything and including The Container Park was just pure genius this year. I do think that it would have been better to only have 2 nights as 3 nights is very long and having it on a Sunday night is hard for people working. I also thought that I would have preferred to see the Foo Fighters and Artic Monkeys on Saturday night as they are a more recent group; just my opinion. I will go again next year and I can't wait to see the line up again. Thank you,

Been a Lips fan for several decades. Hadn't seen them play live since 2004. Just bad timing and living where there aren't concert venues. So I was stoked to see them again. I loved that they played songs spanning the last 20 years of their work. Wayne and the crew have such positive and weird energy. It was awesome to see them up close. The sound was amazing. Loved the stage show. There were other great acts there this weekend, but I was there for the Lips and they did not disappoint!

What a fun concert festival. The bands were great, loved that it was in Vegas. Shuttles seemed a little disorganized Friday but got better over the weekend. Food was awesome, and loved that the food and drinks were spread throughout each different stage area. Only thing I didn't love... the balloons. Besides beging bad for the environment and watching 100s fly into the air throughout the weekend, they blocked my view for a couple of different shows. Luckily, the shows were amazing, so it didn't ruin the experience. Thanks for a great event!

It was amazing! A lot bussier than last year. I like how they added more seating but I think they can add even more in 2015. All of the acts were amazing except for Kanye West. More food options than last year but not all of them were great quality. The artwork was amazing! I love that they offered craft beers, wine, cocktails etc. I went mainly for Foo Fighters and the killed it!!!!

Had a great time. Loved the learning speakers motivational talks. Artic Monkeys and Foo Fighters were worth the time. Future events I would recommend a cell phone charge station...my phone died around 8pm and I took public transportation which was not convenient at midnight. I ended up walking to the bus station and the only bus I could take put me at 2 miles from my home. Fortunately I made it home safely!! I just moved here and am not familiar with the areas. Perhaps you should work with them in the future for added coverage if public transportation is going to be recommended to help cut down on traffic.

Life is Beautiful was created with the actual fan in mind. It was so well executed, mapped, booked and full of love. Every area was filled with content that was purposefully met with the right vendor. The music was well booked and the layering of start times allowed the attendees to see all of the bands, even if close to the same start times. I have never seen more happy people in three days, every day, all day (as I was there for the duration entertaining clients) we saw pure happiness in nearly every face. This festival is beautiful. xx jen

Foo Fighters were epic! They are the only reason why we went. The rest of the festival that we experienced was kind of boring, too spread out, confusing to get around, and dirty. We didn't like any of the other acts that day, so spending $108 just to see FF was lame. But they are my husbands favorite band so what could we do. The bar we did want to sit and drink at was just outside of one of the festival exits and security wouldn't let us go in and out from this exit without some other kind of special wrist band? I was pissed. There are SO many other places this event could have been held, like the speed way, where it's easier to get in and out of and everything could have been in one place. Having it downtown was a cluster. Parking was a cluster. During the show, what sucked is there was a huge delay from what the singers were singing and playing to what was being videoed and shown up on the big screens. When the show was over, all the smaller exits wouldn't let people exit any longer...they made everyone exit through one corridor on Fremont when there were plenty of other staffed exits closer to the stage. There weren't a lot of vendors for anything other than food. And I felt like there could have been more "activities" to do. More rides, etc.... I am a regular when it comes to seeing live music and going to festivals. I have traveled all over the USA following bands, and LIB was super disappointing. Sorry but it's the truth. Even if we hadn't paid $247.00 for the two of us to see FF, I'd still be saying all the other things I mentioned.

Well planned organized event. No beer gardens or closed off areas where alcohol was served. Instead treated like adults and able to purchase beer, wine or mixed drinks and bring right to the stage. What a great festival! Last year was wonderful, this year even better. The weather was perfect, the layout was fine though a bit compressed compared to last year, and the crowd was just as chill as before. The number of attendees seemed significantly less the first day this year, but on Saturday and Sunday evenings I thought the crowd was about the same size as last year (maybe 25-30 thousand). And, unlike Coachella, the LIB crowd didn t drop garbage everywhere. Like, maybe 1 percent of the crap left on the ground and picnic tables compared to Coachella. That's refreshing Once again, entry was a breeze, with friendly and non-invasive security. Food and drink were even better than last year s good selection, though some shade at the picnic tables would have been nice (my only quibble). Music s the main thing for a music fest, though, and on that count LIB did not disappoint. Music was good to great from every act we checked out and we checked out a bunch, starting early every day and staying till the end, including the Fitz & the Tantrums after-party Friday night. The Flaming Lips were the highlight for me, and Phantogram, Tycho, Alt-J, and Broken Bells were up there, too. No sound issues at any stage this time (Huntridge was a problem last year). Hope they made enough on ticket sales to keep this thing going cuz this really is a top-notch fest.
