Great event, with excellent sightlines. Concessions very expensive, but the atmosphere was great.

I went to my first rubgy match. I didn't quite understand all of the rules, but the people around me were most helpful We met 5 friends there, but by the end there were 30 people with us. Eating and drinking and enjoying each other company. ALl of us from different countries. I'm looking forward to next year. The fans were very respectful of each other

Speed and finess combined with power and fierce tackling. A great example of why endurance games -- hockey, rugby, lacrosse and soccer -- rule. Two teams that would not be denied -- a great Irish start, a fierce All Blacks comeback, two spectacular plays and stout defense to seal the win. An epic event for the Irish -- an even longer wait than the Cubs.

This was a 1-time event, a great game and a sold-out stadium!

I came in from Texas to see this match. It was an amazing experience and I hope this event continues. I am a casual fan of rugby and don't understand all of the rules, but I still had a blast.

The result of the match shouldn't drive whether or not I'd attend again-- and it doesn't-- but this was an incredible experience and I am so glad to have been there. My two favorite teams it would've been a good time regardless of the result. Wish we'd had more information about what types of bags/items could be brought into the venue. There was a lot of confusion given that this is an NFL venue that handbags couldn't be brought in, but then they were allowed. it would've been nice not to carry everything in my pockets. Next time please inform us better of what can be taken into the stadium-- and what can't.

Amazing day of top level rugby. The event was very well organized. Great fan zone with lots of free activities. American style tailgate was a perk of rugby in an NFL stadium

Great venue, easy to navigate, prices are bit high, but normal for a stadium.

This is the level of Rugby that will bring new fans to the sport. Thank you to the organizers for bringing such an epic match to our shores. Unlike a friendly in soccer these guys wanted to win and played their hearts out. Truly the best Rugby match I have ever seen. The skill the hitting the execution were all there.

Awesome event!!! Perfect weather, stadium and capacity crowd. We were treated to history being made when Ireland put 111 years behind them to sel a fully deserved win 40-29 (and I am a lifelong All Black fan). Great atomsphere with everyone enjoying the game and good company.

The match was amazing, venue had some drawbacks. Had to wait a long time in line, for security screening before entry - not good, missed the Hakka. Security & Stewards need to relax, rugby crowds are different & don't need the regimented approach that other spectators may need for other sports.

It was the most amazing event sports or music wise that I've ever attended, I was there with my wife and two children and some great friends, to have been there and experience this slice of history with my family is a memory that I will cherish for the rest of my life!!!

Amazing game! If you are not a rugby fan you are missing out! This game was everything that any rugby fan could have wanted. Not the result I wanted but the better team that day won and that is a good thing. When are we doing this again boys!

Having travelled from Ireland for this fixture, I must say Chicago put on the weather for us. They even won the world series for our arrival. The event itself was well hosted and historic in that Ireland defeated the AB's for the first time. Being there to witness that is truly amazing.

The traffic getting here was awful. Allow at least twice the time that you might think. We could have walked there more quickly! Unfortunately we missed the haka and the start of the game. Also unfortunately the All Blacks did not play their best. Kudos to the Irish for breaking their 111 year streak and taking the game!

Watching Ireland beat New Zealand for the first time in 111 years, was for me as big as the Cubs' World Series victory. The crowd was amazing. It had the feel of a European venue.

Everything was great with the exception of getting into the Club area. It was not very well marked coming in from Grant Park, as to which way we needed to go. We walked around the West & South ends of the stadium before coming upon an overwhelmed gate manager to get in to the Club area. While in the Club area the line for the canned beer vendor moved unnecessarily slow. It took over 30 minutes at half time to get a can of beer.

Ireland beat the All Blacks for the first time. 111 years!!! What could be better than that excitement besides the Cubbies?!

This game was awesome from start to finish. We sat way up high in section 400 but were still able to see the game (both on field and on plasmas). The crowd never got out of hand and the entrance/exit of the stadium was busy, but smooth. All around - great experience. I will definitely be back for another event soon!

As American fans of Irish rugby, it was a great opportunity for my family to see the national Irish rugby team play live. The result was beyond our wildest hopes, Ireland beat the All Blacks for the first time in a 111 year history; this in the same city in which the Cubs broke their 108 year jinx to win the World Series. Rugby fans are absolutely the most cordial, friendly fans I have ever encountered and Chicago was a great town to host this event. Final score: Ireland 40, New Zealand 29.

The match was very exciting. Although The All Blacks let me down. After the Cubs broke their drought after 108 years, Ireland broke theirs by defeating The All Blacks after 111 years. Congratulations to them.

The Ireland vs. New Zealand rugby game was awesome, my only suggestion is to try and coordinate more after game activities which would encourage all the fans to hang out or go to a centralized location to party with other rugby enthusiasts

Great seats at a great venue. Access to the stadium is straight forward and the crowd were fantastic. Plus we won!

This match was outstanding. It was all that could be expected. To be able to see this quality of rugby was fantastic. The speed of the game and skill of the players was wonderful to watch. The atmosphere throughout the match was electric. The match was very well worth the price of the ticket. The only drawback to this venue is Soldier Field. It is the worst laid out stadium I have ever been to. Only two restrooms for the entire upper level; the ingress and egress left a lot to be desired. The corridors were too narrow to be able to move that many people. Concession prices are outrageous.

What a match...amazing support for Ireland and The All Blacks! Gorgeous day...perfect seats in Club Level surround by our Irish friends! The crowd was well behaved and supportive for each team. With a sold out crowd the event flowed smoothly! Took some time to get drinks and food but was expected with large crowds! An exciting, historic win for Ireland! So proud to be a part of history! Go Ireland!

That was one of the best Rugby Matches I've seen! The Irish, playing in front of their [almost] home crowd, they surprised the All Blacks in the first half and then came back when it mattered in the 2nd half, just before the Kiwis caught up to them! Crowd was electric!

We sat in front of 4 great guys from Dublin who had on Chicago Cubs hats for good luck. They had never beaten New Zealand All Blacks in 28 games since 1905! They won 40 to 29 in front of a record crowd for seeing a rugby match in the U. S. Forget pro football: this is THE sport to watch, with REAL men without pads and non-stop action. My wife and I have attended the 1982 Final Four in New Orleans, many NCAA regional basketball games, bowl games, pro football games and both college basketball and football games all over the country. Without a doubt, we agreed that this was the most incredible sports experience we've ever had. As a plus, the fans for both teams were so congenial and congratulatory to each other after the game. The atmosphere was electric, and we would go back in a heartbeat!!!

62,300 people were in attendance at Soldier Field making this the most attended rugby match in US history. I'm glad that my wife and I got to be a part of history. As a rugby player and coach, there was no other option than to be in attendance. The weather was great, the people of Chicago were welcoming, and the fans were amazing.

The seats were affordable for the Section we were in. A corner section. Had an okay view.

Once inside the stadium, the game was amazing, such a great atmosphere and well worth going. However the stadium management let the event down massively by only opening a few gates and therefore causing huge queues on the way in. We missed the start of the game and there were a lot of unhappy people who paid a lot of money to travel from Ireland and New Zealand and ended up missing the start of the game (which is only 90min in total). Well worth going but very poor event management by the stadium, so go in early to avoid queues.

Have been to see Ireland before but this Epic game was history in the making!! From start to finish, Ireland was spot on!!

Except for the Cubs 2016 championship run, this is one of the most exciting, fun sporting events I've ever attended!

Epic match, getting into Soldier Field a ridiculous problem. There was only one gate open for everyone sitting in 300- and 400-level seats. The line came from two directions and getting through security was pathetically slow. Many hundreds of us missed the All Blacks' pre-game haka. This was a travesty. I got to my seat after both teams had already scored. Totally unacceptable. Open a few more gates, please.

What an incredible event. The Guinness area was spectacular with all the fun stuff to do and prizes to win. Rugby play was exceptional.

Good game - too bad the expensive seats did not let you see the ball in play.
