This was the best day of my life. I've been a fan of My Chemical Romance for about 4 years and i've been waiting to attend one of their concerts for forever, and on this day I actually got to go and see my idols live. We got there 2/3 hours early, and it was actually not a boring wait! We got to hear them practice, and there were trucks giving out free Snapple and Monster energy drinks which was really cool. Then when we got into the show, it was amazing. The opening acts were awesome too-particularly Circa Survive. They are my second favorite band, and to see them live almost made me cry, I was so overwhelmed. The crowd was huge-it was sold out, and that was a bit of an announce but I didn't really mind. MCR is amazing live, they have energy and Gerard's voice is like no other. I cried during one of their songs; "Welcome to the black parade" because it was just so beautiful. After the show my head, back, feet, legs, arms, and stomach hurt-but I couldn't have been happier! I couldn't go to school the next day because my legs/back/stomach hurt from the mosh pit-which was awesome! I can't explain how I felt that day in words...just..amazing.brilliant. THE best show of my life.

so the opening acts were great. Yet the fact that there was a dude totally moshing his butt off kinda ruined it at first. It was my first time listening to The Architects and Circa Survive. When My Chem went on the stage the crowd went WILD. Of course i was one of those screaming fans yelling"MCR!" Once they started playing Na na na, the whole room exploded with energy. The crowd became one moving wave. Jumping people were everywhere. Sadly since i'm short i couldnt really see them but i was jumping a lot. Gerard sang the words and everyone sang back. Frank, Ray and Mikey played and you can see fingers playing the notes of the guitars, This show was INCREDIBLE. It was my first show and my most memorable.

Amazing show that I've been waiting five years for. My Chemical Romance is back, and they're better than ever. New style, color, great lyrics, and a memorable experience nobody will forget. Some say they've sold out, but they've grown up and matured, and as a result, created a CD that was worth waiting for. Moshing got a bit out of control. Happens at every concert, but really, there are people trying to ENJOY the music who don't want to be pushed around. Also, there were people smoking right in front of us...thought this was an all ages show and a no-smoking facility? Studio house band was very bad. I thought it was only The Gaslight Anthem opening, and when I heard I had to sit through ANOTHER band, that was kind of irritating. Very bittersweet when My Chem came out. Everyone loves their new stuff and their old stuff as well. Very cool that Dr. D was there to open and start the concert...everyone went nuts. Great show overall. MCR does NOT disappoint. You never know what to expect from them onstage. Frontman Gerard is always doing crazy stuff, which makes for a better show. They are all wonderful people and my absolute favorite band. I missed hearing from them for 4 years, but this CD is a HUGE improvement over The Black Parade, and just goes to show how much they've matured. As Gerard said during the concert-- "We're back! And we missed you!" Yeah. We missed you too.

By far the highlight of the night was the Gaslight set. This band is set for the next level. MCR was lucky to get Gaslight there as an opening act. Probably will flop roles by this time next year if MCR is still around.

How to describe the best concert experience ever? MCR rocked from the second they appeared on stage until Mikey plucked the last chord on his awesome bass! DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW if you have any love for rock music! Get lots of sleep before you go and be prepared to be totally exhausted when you leave. It'll be the rockinest night you'll remember for a lifetime!

The lines were long and the night was cold but once MCR hit the first note, that was all forgotten and energy filled the room. The show got off to a slow start with Fifteen Fleeting. Gaslight Anthem started to hype up the crowd a little bit more, but once the true reason why we were all there came out, My Chemical Romance, everything just exploded with excitement! They play songs from Revenge, Black Parade and of course Danger Days. All in all a great performance by MCR! There are truly amazing!

Gaslight Anthem was tremendous as usual mixing in a lot of songs from their first album Sink or Swim. My Chemical Romance also did a great job mixing in old with the new. Although the show was a lot of fun, it's a shame to see someone like Gaslight at such a large venue where you can get as good of a vibe/feel for the music as you would at other NYC venues. All in all was a good show.

Roseland Ballroom was the place to be on Dec. 3rd 2010. The highly anticipated My Chemical Romance show had sold out in just 5 hours the day tickets went on sale. The line outside the venue started to form two days in advance to the show, killjoys eager to be right up front and center stage to finally witness their favorite band perform again. My Chemical Romance, better known as My Chem or MCR was on a two and a half year long hiatus recording and perfecting the new and edgy punk-rock album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys , the concept of the record was based on an idea vocalist and comic book writer Gerard Way came up with of radio transmissions heard from the year 2019 being told by fictional character Dr. Death Defying played by Steven Montano of the band Mindless Self Indulgence. My Chemical Romance is known for their over-the-top, dramatic and theatrical style of music. In addition, the band s style is quite unpredictable, each one of the four album s they put out in the ten years they ve been around take on their own personality and are so different from each other which makes fans fall in love with each side of them, with that in mind no one knew what could be in store for the live performance but one thing for sure was that there was not one silent mouth in the whole ballroom when Dr. Death Defying walked onstage and spoke the words to the intro, Look Alive, Sunshine from the new album, then when newly pink-haired Gerard Way walked on stage the whole crowd erupted, and at that single moment it was official, My Chemical Romance owned that place for the next two hours. The band s set was jam packed with 16 songs and two encores so that the energy never stopped. Not only did they play some new tracks such as Na Na Na and The Only Hope For Me Is You but the band also played all the crowd pleasers and fan favorites from other albums like songs Teenagers and Welcome to the Black Parade and their Bob Dylan cover Desolation Row . The chemistry between all members onstage was incredible, between Rhythm Guitarist, Frank Iero falling to the ground playing his heart out, Guitarist, Ray Toro ripping out solo after solo and Gerard running all over the stage putting every last drop of energy he had into the performance it showed that My Chemical Romance truly love what they do and play every show like it s their last. It was also true that every single person in the crowd no matter where they were standing were lucky to be in attendance and after the show everyone had already begun to count down the days until My Chem play in New York again on April 22nd at Terminal 5.

It was my first time to Roseland Ballroom (I am from Ohio) and it was interesting to see all the history of the place. But the highlight of the night was MCR for sure. They sounded great but in particular had energy and enthusiasm like I haven't seen before. I saw the Black Parade about 7-9 times including once in England and MCR straight up a few times beyond that but don't recall so much energy. It was a great time and mighty impressive.

When a band releases a new album, usually the first shows are a roller coaster of ups and downs with the crowd politely listening to new music. Not so here! Friday's show was a constant cheer, dance, sing-along that left you wanting to start over again. The new album shined right along with the tried and true and the crowd was singing until they had nothing left. It's pretty unique to see a new album out for less than a month have such an amazing following already. Great great fun!

MCR came out with volume on high!!!! But I think this adversely affected their sound.....the band was so loud, it was difficult to hear Gerard throughout the show. My ears were ringing over a day later! And it wasn't the house sound because Gaslight Anthem went on before them and the singer was clear; they sounded a lot better than MCR. Although the mix/sound was horrible, MCR put on a good show.

MCR rocked, period. It was my daughter's first MCR concert. We're from North Carolina, and yes, we went to NYC to see MCR with their hometown fans. We planned our Spring Break vacation around this concert. The Architects and Neon Trees were no slouches but not MCR. Gerard interacts with the audience well. I got the tickets to see Neon Trees who were supposed to be an opener. They were not on the bill for this show or there Montreal show (passport/visa issues?). By the time MCR was on we were at the barrier. I was pleasantly surprised with MCR as I was not expecting that much from them.

The show was absolutely flawless from beginning to end. I've never heard of The Architects (the opening band) before, but they were great. What can I say? My Chemical Romance never seises to amaze me. With this being the fourth MCR show I have attended I can conclude that they just keep getting better. They truly know how to put on a show. Even their opening act, The Architects were awesome! (I had the honor of meeting their guitarist, Keenan and had a discussion of Tornadoes vs. Earthquakes.) Even with Ray Toro (lead guitarist of MCR) hobbling on stage with his broken foot, and the rest of them suffering from exhaustion, they were able to keep the energy up the whole entire show. The band had a fantastic setlist as well, playing songs from all four albums and even ending with my favorite song off their new album "Danger Days" called "Bulletproof Heart." Seeing this show was definitely worth having to stand out in the cold and rain for seven hours and then being crushed by a rather large crowd of people. I would highly recommend seeing at least one My Chemical Romance show in a life time, believe me you will be hooked.

This was my first MCR show. Me and a Friend drove 5 hours to Chicago to see them. We were in line at 8 am for the event. The fans in line were very friendly and we all danced and played games during the long wait. The security at the venue were pretty nice too. But one thing they didn't do was pass out water. All the other shows like this I have been to the security will give drinks of water to the people in the pit, but not this show. so there was people passing out left and right throughout the whole show. Another thing that bugged me was the stage was too damn high! My neck was really sore from looking up before the first opening band even finished! And if that wasn't enough the way they had the barricade set up was just weird. It was set up like the stage had a cat walk, but there was none, which made the fans even further away from the band. Obviously none of these things are My Chemical Romance's fault, I just didn't like how the venue was set up. It kinda disappointed me to be so far away even tho I was on the rail. The show itself was pretty amazing. I felt some great energy during most of it, the times I could manage to move at least. Gerard doesn't seem to move around much though. He kind of just paces and haed bangs his head. Still a great performer though. Mikey and Gerard were the most active ones. I don't think Frank and Ray ever moved away from their microphones. I wish they had more energy up on stage. Not to say they were terrible, don't get me wrong they were amazing, there just weren't any "WOW" moments for me. Not to mention, I have been to 5 Green Day shows, and the energy they give off at a show just doesn't even compare to any other band. After the show we got to meet Frank and get signatures. All in all I say it was well worth the drive and the long and cold wait in line.

A My Chemical Romance crowd is a passionate one. So not only did the boys from Jersey recieve an outstanding ovation, but the opening acts did as well. Upon arriving at the venue I saw a line had already formed, and I could hear a group Killjoys singing multiple MCR anthems as we approached. I was lucky enough to arrive relatively early - and determined enough to fight the rest of the way to the front. The Architects, though I'd never heard any of their music before, were energetic enough to get me bouncing along to the beat. I made a few lyrical mental notes for looking up song titles later. Neon Trees were great, and very entertaining. I anticipated their popular song "Animal" as soon as I heard they were one of the openers, and it didn't disappoint. I didn't know the words to more than two songs, but they've got such a great stage presence that I still really enjoyed their time in the spotlight. As soon as Neon Tress signed off, though, the crowd's energy spilled over. Every amped-up fan was pushing and being pushed, and I couldn't stand even remotely still for the rest of the night. The crowd only got more excited when the lights changed, and completely erupted with the first sighting of the band. MCR didn't disappoint, either. They played many new songs but didn't skimp on the older favorites, sampling from every album. By the end of the night, myself and everyone around me looked like we'd gone swimming. I lost the t-shirt I'd bought pre-show in the crowd, but in return received a number of bruises as souvenirs. Perhaps I'm biased, with the headliner being my all-time favorite band. But I left the venue exhausted, with my ears ringing and my voice a higher pitch, completely satisfied.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I found out My Chemical Romance's show at the Val Air was sold out. Heck, I've only joined the MCRmy back in October after being an on-again, off-again fan. I was taking two friends who sort of knew about MCR, but weren't big fans, and I wasn't sure what the crowd was going to be like. It was so worth it. Both The Architects and Neon Trees fit with the crowd for opening acts. They're definitely both different types of music (Architects being very post-hardcore, while Neon Trees is really alternative more along the lines of pop, but not really), but considering what MCR has done, they work so well. And all three bands really do promote each other very well. The actual concert was amazing. I can't say anything else. I was so out of breath from singing and sore from jumping up and down at the end. My ears are still ringing two days later (but that may be because I was in front of the speakers...). They played music from all four albums (seeing them perform Vampires was awesome, and I can see why it's a big hit with the band and their fans), but obviously played a lot from Danger Days (which I absolutely adore). But hearing some of their bigger singles, like Helena, Welcome to the Black Parade, Teenagers and my favorite I'm Not Okay (I Promise) was equally as awesome. I'm a bit disappointed they didn't perform Sing, as I know Gerard would've done an amazing job on the song. But I'll take it for what it's worth and still say that the setlist they did was great. What I have below isn't complete, as everything ran together, but I think it's pretty comprehensive. Next time I go, I'm making sure I get there earlier so I can get closer to the center of the stage so I can see all of them, and be able to make sure they get the artwork that I created for them. (I handpainted four Killjoy masks based upon their Killjoy characters and left a personal message for each of them, which I threw on stage after the show, so I hope to God they got them!) But I am for sure going to see them again in the future. They are an amazing band live, and the fans are awesome.

What can you say about MCR that hasn't already been said? They put on a helluva show. Very high energy, loads of fun. Lots of old MCR fans who GET what MCR is about which is cool, but also newer fans who don't but they add nice energy too so it was all good. Unfortunately, Showbox Sodo is NOT a good venue for ANY act. Aggressive, testosterone-laden bouncers who forget that YOU'RE the one who payed to see the show. They lived up to their reputation for being jerks. Ventilation was horrible, people passing out from the heat. Acoustics sucked too. YUK.

My Chemical Romance is one of the best bands to come out in a long time. I am absolutely in love with their music, message, and style. They keep things fresh always evolving but always maintaining the core of what we all know as MCR. They make it fun to go to concerts again, their energy and passion is just amazing. This was a gift from my mother for my birthday, she knows how much I love the band, but it was in St.Louis 4.5 hours away.LOL I laugh because we (my husband and I) have seen them 4 times now, and each time it has been in a different state. Being in a band ourselves we are afraid to say this, but we seem to have become MCR groupies, well just to the point of going out of our way to see them.;) They have been to Indiana one time that we know of, during The 2 year Black Parade Tour and it was the weekend of my sister s wedding so she won. Sorry guys.:) But we did travel to Columbus OH a week before that just so we could see them. That was for my Husbands birthday BTW. Anyway back to the review, it was an eye& ear candy orgy, we had fun dancing and singing to all the songs. The presence of Gerard Way alone is breath taking. He is an amazing front man. He could probably make the whole crowd stand on one leg, rub their belly and pick their nose at the same time if he wanted to. But he loves his fans too much to make them pick their noses.;) Then you add the guitar styling s of Ray Toro who is just electrifying on stage. The talent that man has in his little pinky is more than most could even compare to on and equal level in their life time. Then there is Frank and you can't forget little Mikey Way.;) All of them great performers! As I said in the title it was no surprise to me that it was yet another great live show, it's pretty much a given when you go to a MCR show, they will always knock your socks off! Now if they would only come back to Indy (Verizon Wireless) this summer. It will be odd to not have a road trip before their show, but having them in our own back yard, I could live with that!;) If you've never seen a My Chemical Romance show, I highly recommend it. If you love ROCK music you will love MY CHEMICL ROMANCE.

Well besides waiting outside in the freezing cold with the hundreds of other My Chem fans, it was a very good show. A St. Louis native rock band named Brookroyal opened first and were absolutely amazing. Great energy! Especially when the singer dove into the crowd and body surfed. They sounded great and will listen to them from now on. Middle Class Rut played after Brookroyal and in my opinion, were terrible. Did not like them at all. When the drummer had a temper tantrum and threw his bass drum and then tried to explain to the crowd (who was in absolute shock) that it was all part of the plan (which it clearly wasn't), you knew this wasn't going to be very good. After his tantrum and explaining that the drum has been telling him bad things about his wife, his kids, etc...I thought this man was loony! Then he had to borrow Brookroyal's bass drum. If I were Brookroyal, there would have been no way I would have done that. MCR were great as usual. People were screaming, jumping and you knew you were getting a great show. The song list was more than I expected. I thought they would just pick songs from their new album, Danger Days. But they indeed went over my expectations and played some of my personal favorites. They played some songs from Three Cheers and Black Parade. It was overall an amazing experience and worth every penny and frozen toes!

The first opener (BrookRoyal) was fairly generic, the second opener (Middle Class Rut) was much better and more interesting a listen but had some technical difficulties - My Chemical Romance though? They were fantastic throughout. I'd recommend seeing them wherever you can, they put on a really great, really inspired show. The set list this time around was a good mix of new and old.

Great show! Loved the venue. It was a bit cramped, but the small venue made it feel more intimate and no one was far away from the stage. My Chem was amazing as always, the sound was good, not too loud. The lights were very well done. The two opening acts were a little lacking, but that's just my opinion.

Let me say up front my 1 star rating is for the venue - not MCR who always puts on a great show. This was my 5th MCR concert so obviously I'm a fan - but the sound at the back of the Hollywood Palladium was so bad it ruined the show for me - all tinny & buzzing. I would think it was MCR's set-up except I've read on the internet since then others' comments about how bad the acoustics are in the Palladium. My son was both up front & in the back for parts of the show & said there was a huge difference in sound quality. View was good as I was standing in a slightly elevated area & it's not a large facility so you're not far from stage even in back. Got some ok pics.

MCR was fantastic, as always! (This was the fourth time I've seen them live!) My only disappointment with them was that they only performed one song from 'Bullets.' But the opening acts ate up a lot of time and they couldn't cover much more than the new album plus a few classics. On that note, I had no idea there were going to be opening acts. It was very aggravating waiting for them to finish their acts so MCR could finally come onstage. If you're a fan and you're going to this show somewhere else, and you don't care about seeing the opening acts, you can arrive at least an hour late. I wish I had. Also, the venue was terrible. The line for the front door was chaotic, and I waited in the South Florida sun for hours to get a decent spot. Then - at the last minute when the club finally opened the doors - they announced they'd be using a different door and the line would have to re-form by the other door. So everyone just ran! Some people fell over. And I definitely lost my spot. So I waited patiently in line for hours for nothing. Needless to say, I was furious, and this will be my last visit to Revolution in Fort Lauderdale.

Where to begin. This was my third time seeing them. They get better every time. Gerard's voice is awesome. Such a showman. A delight to watch. They sang almost every song from the new album, which I just love. The Black Parade was great but I think this one is just as good. They are growing and it is wonderful to see that happening.Would love to see them again and again. Thanks for rockin' my world, MCR.

My sister and I have followed My Chemical Romance for 8 years now and when they came to the tower theater and the starling ballroom, we looked at each other and realized we had just planned our mothers day weekend. We couldn't have been more excited, months of preparing and saving up finally we arrived in Sayreville NJ and took our place upfront in line. We waited 71/2 hours and talked to MCR's truck driver and The Guys of This Good Robot (which we didn't know at the time) to pass the time. Once we got inside we darted up front taking our place in the center but off to the right, we were always between Ray and Gerard so we didn't want to break the habit. This Good Robot came on first and they are AMAZING they brought a crazy amount of energy to the stage for playing their only 3 songs. The Architects were next and I think my sister and me were the only ones singing some of their songs. The Singer made the funniest faces and it was a whole different experience with them. Then Came Thursday who really knew how to get the crowed full of energy. We waited and watched as the crew set up for MCR s set and you could just feel the energy in the room lift. Once they started playing Look Alive Sunshine, that was it they started the show off with Na Na Na and the party just kept going. The Guys Looked really tired but they put on the most AMAZING show ever. Gerard still know how to get the Crowd riled up with his strange dances, Ray is still the best guitarist ever, Mikey Actually moved around and I really wanted his sparkle bass, and Frank, I love Frank He was Energetic as always. During Planetary (Go) I got my High Five and thought I could have died, Ray laughed and waved to us since he saw us the last 8 years. I wish I could go back and start the weekend over because it was just too amazing and I don t want it to be over. This band always delivers an outstanding performance for their fans and I feel like they still have plans up their sleeves for future tours, and I hope that s right.

I bought these tickets at the end of last year and anxiously awaited this show and I must say it was well worth it! The show was amazing. MCR really knows how to rock it hard, loud and fun. The make it all very entertaining. I love the fact that they played at Revolution instead of a larger venue bc I love Revolution bc it feels more intimate and close. The music was sooo loud that my eared felt muffled for the rest of the evening but Im not complaining. The only complaint I have would be that some of the guards at revolution just take there job either too serious or not serious enough! What prevent my night from being perfection was that my cell (iphone) got stolen :( But I will anxiuosly wait to see MRC again!!!!!!!

I have loved My Chemical Romance since high school (now graduated from college) and they have never EVER failed me during a performance. Every time I see them, it has always been a once in the lifetime opportunity. The ONLY thing I can say that bugged me a bit was that they did not play "SING" during this specific performance. I was heavily looking forward to the song and it never was played. Other than that, I would relive that night over and over again despite waiting five hours outside to get in, and by the time I was inside my feet hurt so bad I wanted to scream and cry. All worth it in the end. I love these guys and they never disappoint.

This show was incredible. As always My Chemical Romance rocked. The sound was amazing, the people were great and the staff was nice. At one point, one of the bouncers gave all my friends Frank Iero's guitar pic for being patient with them moving the line around so much due to unloading. The crowd was restless, anxiously awaiting the moment that the stage lights would dim. Thursday had just left the stage after an extensive and amazing set that simply tore down the house, and now the moment had arrived. As the crowd broke into a booming, spontaneous chant, "MCR, MCR, MCR..." a familiar voice cracked through the Starland Ballroom Speakers: "Look alive, sunshine!" My Chemical Romance had arrived. Ever since 2004, I have been enraptured with My Chemical Romance. Their musical flair, coupled with their visual and artistic creativity, have always appealed to me in a way that their peers like Muse and Fall Out Boy never did. The one thing I had never experienced in the seven years I have been a fan of the band, however, was the live act. I had heard rumors, stories and audio clips of what appeared to be the loudest and most energetic concerts in the modern pop rock universe, but none of this could compare to the real thing. As soon as My Chemical Romance took the stage, the crowd exploded. Everyone could tell that the band was more than just a little excited to be playing in their home state, and that energy was infectious. The entire crowd jumped, danced, screamed, and sang along to every word of "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)," setting the tone for the rest of the evening. My Chemical Romance produces extremely infectious music. Gerard's unique voice, coupled with his flair for lyrics which evoke the feel of comic books and rally the crowd to follow his every move and request, backed by amazing guitar work by Frank, Ray, and Mikey, create a unique musical act that only gets even more amazing live. If you love My Chemical Romance or if you're simply looking to have an amazing time at a live show, you can't go wrong by seeing these boys. I never knew what I've been missing these past seven years, and now that I do, I simply cannot wait to see My Chemical Romance again.

This concert was amazing from beginning to end. The opening acts were stellar; opening with the Architects, they set a calm kind of intro pace (at least compared to MCR), and Neon Trees warmed the audience up a bit with their lively, quick paced songs. When My Chemical Romance came on it was incredible. The audience was enthusiastic and very excited, and the band was remarkable. The sound was good, the lights were awesome, and the music was fantastic. One of the best experiences I've ever had.

I bought tickets to this as a gift for my girlfriend. MCR is her favorite band, though I don't care much for them. However, I was very impressed with their performance. Even as someone who is not a fan, I enjoyed my time watching the show. My girlfriend had an amazing time, of course. She couldn't stop smiling and bobbing up and down in excitement (she's not someone who expresses emotions like that too frequently). I would definitely recommend going to see them if this is your type of music. A good performer can make a show interesting, even to someone who has very low interest. And they kept my interest! Good job, guys!

This concert was my first of many and was unforgettable. Ray sweat on me. Gerard looked me in the eyes while I was crying and sang me a few words of my favorite song. Ray smiled for my picture while everyone else was taking them too and he didn't smile for them. My friend got Ray's guitar pick. She also made signs to Gerard after he flipped us off and he grinned at her. My other friend fainted in the beginning of Black Parade.

This was my 4th MCR show. I've seen 'em in large and small venues. This one was probably the best show I've seen. My only complaint is that I wish they would've played longer. We sat through 3 openings acts (only 1 of which I thought was good), and they only played for an hour and a half. With how many great songs they have, I would have liked to hear more. Regardless, I'm still going to any local show they put on next!!!

Vocally and instrumentally they were 100%. The band seemed a little tired, but it was in fact their home show and their families were there... so they were probably itching to get home and spend the night in their own beds for once. Other than that they were spectacular. Didn't talk a lot like they normally do, but were interactive as well as entertaining. <3

What an amazing show this was! This was my 7th time seeing My Chemical Romance and they never disappoint! The very first band (I can't remember their name) was a lot of fun. I was very excited to hear that the Architects were just as awesome live as they are on their CD's. Thursday was good, but they aren't quite my flavor. The Starland Ballroom was great, as always. Being a college student means having alot of stress. I had finals before this concert (organic chem and bio) so when I was heading out to see MCR i was pumped and ready to release all of my stress. I've been to an MCR concert so I knew how awesome they were live, but I didn't think that I would enjoy even more a second time. They just keep getting better. The wait for them to get started was a little long (i liked the opening acts), but when they lights turned off and Dr. D started his speech the crowd went wild. Every song they played was clear and beautiful. I sung every part (actually more like screaming because I don't sing very well). There were kids ranging from age 13-30 and a few adults who were singing along. The thing about MCR concerts is that even though a mash pit is going or people are screaming at the top of their lungs, everyone is so friendly. People are always polite and when you are in close corridors you make friends very easily. The venue was pretty good to. You could see the band anywhere you stood (if you were normal height). For me I'm pretty short so it was difficult for me to see but a few people moved so i would be able. I recommend anyone to go to an MCR concert even if you don't particularly enjoy their music. It will get your mind off the stress in your life and show you what it really means to be living.

The band rocked. They were energetic, fun, loud, appreciative, and unbelievable performers. It was miserably hot at the venue and the band had to have felt that, but they kept everyone dancing and singing and they put on an amazing show. I highly recommend that everyone see My Chemical Romance at least once. It's an unforgettable experience and they actually sound just as good live as (or even better than) they sound recorded. Also, the setlist was phenomenal. Excellent show and tremendously talented people! So proud that they represent New Jersey! (Sorry I don't have any pictures of Ray Toro from the show--he was on the other side of the stage; the ones of the band show him, but he's a little blurry).

Ray had a broken foot and still managed to play like a champ, Mikey was as amazing as ever, Frank was so energetic and Gerard looked like he was where he belonged. the sound was beyond perfect, even over the energy of the sold out crowed. they knew every word to every song and there was this feeling of assurance when Im Not Ok was screamed back at its creators. This was my first time seeing My Chemical Romance. I've been a big fan since I was 13, so finally seeing the guys I looked up to in some of my toughest times was absolutely amazing. They definitely brought the energy to a crowd that had previously been somewhat dead. You see, the main act, MCR, was fantastic but the openers were so-so. The first band sucked and were completely boring and did nothing to pump people up. Neon Trees were pretty good; people actually knew their songs. It wasn't until MCR came on that it actually became a party. They opened with "Na Na Na" which got everybody jumping and to hear them play some older songs was a pleasant surprise. The only two songs that they did not play that I wish they had were "SING" and "Famous Last Words". I would have preferred they closed with "Famous Last Words" rather than "Bulletproof Heart". But over all, it was a great show. Gerard had the crowd eating out of his palm, the merch people were nice, and the music was loud - just the way an MCR concert should be.

I missed the tours they did during Three Cheers and Black Parade, but I wasn't going to miss this one. This was my first MCR show ever and it was definitely worth waiting out in Hollywood's bipolar weather. The band played with such enthusiasm and Gerard's singing was simply astounding. They were way better than I imagined they would be. Everyone was moving and singing along. I was so glad that they played songs from each of their albums instead of just their new one and engaged with the crowd. While the band exceeded my expectations, the venue didn't. It was beautiful on the inside, but the stage was nearly impossible for me to see and I was pretty close to the front. If you really want to see MCR at the Hollywood Palladium and are around five feet tall, go up to the balcony because you will not be able to see them unless you're right in front with no one blocking you and nobody likes people who try to shove their way to the front.

It was a big surprise that there was 2 opening acts. I looked at the site several times to make sure but it was never mentioned. So that was a big surprise especially since Circa Survive came out. Awesome performance! I also checked the HOB site if they allow cameras and it wasn't mentioned either so I brought mines. Then they told me its not allowed. It was annoying! Things like that should be posted under additional details! After being pushed and shoved MCR finally came out and it was such a great performance. Sounds are great. I can hear his voice. Its not being drowned by the guitars at all unlike the other HOB concert I've been in. Would love to go again. Wish they would play SCARECROW. Love that song!

My Chemical Romance gave the audience all they could have wanted. Hard-playing show with a great live sound. These guys proved they don't need a studio to sound good. Meanwhile, the gracelessness of HoB never ceases to amaze. It's fine for hundreds of kids to be lined up to buy high-priced merch after the show while low-brow HoB staff display nothing but rudeness in pushing parents waiting for those kids to an area in which you can't help but block traffic flow. A young woman and daughter who were flown to Dallas from California after winning a record label-sponsored radio station contest were denied tickets from will call earlier in the day, denied being able to stand in line for earlier admittance because they didn't have tickets in hand and minutes before the doors opened, were given general admission tix and directed to the end of the line. This shows that corporations like HoB need a monopoly to succeed - bullies don't generally like competition and HoB is appears no exception. Hearing of how kids who lined up in Houston awaiting the Friday show were made to stand - sitting could cause ejection from the line - was one more indication of a venue that hopefully doesn't consider itself part of the "hospitality" industry. I spend a lot of money on concert tickets all over the state of Texas and HoB is the venue that consistently earns absolutely no respect in their hosting of events.
