CocoRosie was phenomenal. I love their music so much and it was made even better by the awesome beat boxer Tez, who my friends and I met at a pizza place after the concert. Highly recommended.

The Orpheum Theatre has got to be the most phenomenal venue I've ever been lucky enough to see a show in. That in and of itself set the mood for a fantastic evening. Then Cibelle warmed us up with some beautiful singing, lyrics with lots of guns, and a few cute twisty dance moves. I wasn't so certain about Busdriver at first but it didn't take long to feel his grooves and fall into a rhythmic enchantment. And then, finally, CocoRosie came on and for the next hour or so I was in complete, mind blown bliss. They are such an amazingly talented band, it's impossible to put into words how moving and spiritual of a show it was. I cried at least three times. I am definitely going to have to see them again next time around.

I have never witness such purity and beauty in my life. All of the different sounds represented came together in perfect harmony, and Sierra's voice! By far, thee most beautiful sound I have ever heard. I felt as if I would explode. I HIGHLY recommend seeing CocoRosie live. No concert will ever come close to their perfection.

This was the best concert ever. The atmosphere was insane and Bianca and Sierra were fantastically entertaining. I would recommend it a thousand times over, even if you aren't familiar with their music. Their beat boxer, Tez, is amazing. Seriously, he is insanely talented. His 10 minute solo was the most amazing thing I've ever heard uttered out of someone's mouth.

I wrote so much in the" favorite moment "section below that I have less to say here now as i started with that question first! Ok, let's see... the show was intoxicating and colorful, joyful and triumphant (yes, I just said that, I know....!), beautiful and inspiring. I really enjoyed seeing this band for the first time at the Orpheum because I was 3rd row and center, near the aisle, and it was close enough to really vibe into from there. I will say that I would prefer (next time) to try and see them at a venue that encourages standing and dancing--- a space with a designated dance floor would have been wonderful and made this concert even more magical. I also would like to see them outdoors somewhere at a small festival, where they can blend their beautiful performance art with nature more. Lovely energy from Cocorosie and the men they jam with...really one of my most smiley concert experiences ever. And I see quite alot of music live. I highly recommend them to lift your spirit high and dust it ever so intensely with a rainbow of musical glitter and soul.

Cocorosie was fantastic. I didn't know what to expect since this was my first time seeing them live, but I was definitely impressed. Their band is good, they have good stage presence, and they did quite a long set. They did a great mix of new and old songs, and mixed up old favorites so that they felt like brand spankin' new hits. The costumes were fun. My gripe was the audience. I have never in my life been to a show with ruder people. I was smashed, pushed, and "drunked at" by people who should have stayed in the bar. Still, Cocorosie was a treat to see live.

The show was suppose to start at 8. Opening act did not come on to stage untill 9:30. Cocorosie was amazing, they can't fail. Having to leave early around 11:30 midway through a concert due to lateness sucks. Who know's what was going on? They were wonderful.

I was recently introduced to CocoRosie, and only knew a few of their songs before heading to the concert. I was blown away by the energy and amazing talent of the sisters and their back up artists (the person I went with didn't know much of their music either)! Being that they are known for "freak folk," I wasn't sure what to anticipate, but I would say most anyone would have loved the music they performed and the great talent that went into it. Their beat-boxer, piano man and drummer were all very talented as well. I also wasn't sure how much of a beat their music would have, but found myself dancing and rocking (with the rest of the crowd) to almost all of their songs. I have to admit, I didn't really like the opening act too much, which made me nervous for how the show would go, but boy did they blow me out of the water! Great show!

First time seeing cocorosie, and it didn't disappoint. I went in hoping for some spiritual moments and went out with a melted heart and new friends. Don't be afraid to dance, everyone! There were some gems dancing however most people just stood around as always. As still and unmoving as they were, the crowd was thirsty for cocorosie and was very supportive, feeding into the performance of cocorosie.

Cocorosie is one of my top 5 favorite artists ever. The show was good, the sisters were lively, the venue was good. I was actually expecting to see more people there. The only criticism I would have of it was that they didn't play their best songs, some of their older ones. "I Promise", "By Your Side", and quite a few others. I mean....in the end.....all their songs are pretty good so I can't say I was disappointed. Maybe my expectations were way too high.

I hadn't listened to CocoRosie very much before going to the concert in Boston. In fact i wasn't even sure what I was getting into. I was surprisingly blown away! The songs live are a bit different compared to the albums, and in a good way. There was a beat-boxer a percussionist and a pianist in addition to the two sisters. This combination of instruments and vocals made for an orgasm of sound in your ears. Concerts are always difficult to describe so I will stop here. I will, however, say that you must see them live to really appreciate them. You won't be disappointed!

CocoRosie was an amazing show and I truly hope to see them again. Beautiful concert! They were so involved with the crowd and with each other I didn't even notice that they hardly spoke on stage until someone else pointed it out. They truly did interact with the crowd in a unique way. The energy was overwhelmingly positive. I walked away feeling like I had been in a strange place I belonged to, that I knew those sisters on a deeper level than I would ever have expected, and that I had just witnessed something incredibly unique. Also, their beat-boxer is the best I've EVER heard. Costumes were very interesting and costume changes continued through the show as they shed layers. All musicians were exceptional. It was a strange and spiritual experience that made me feel very much at home. UNFORGETTABLE!!!

CocoRosie performing at the Regency Ballroom was incredibly appropriate for how alluring and elegant these two sisters are. The whole crowd swayed in a trance like motion, with enchanted eyes as the two performed tracks from their latest album "Grey Oceans." I had gone alone, with excitement and nervousness, having never seen them live, and having never been to 6th and I St Synagogue (which was an absolutely gorgeous and magnificent space). The moment they started... their angelic and powerful voices competely blew me away... I cried from beginning to end. The beat-boxing was incredibly powerful also... rattled to my core... the person on the keyboard was brilliant and amazing. CocoRosie-- these women...are a beautiful mix of dark, uplifting, deep soulful and mesmerizing inflluence. It brought up so much pain and heartache, and cleansed my soul... I will always and forever remember this experience. I will see them again. I love them. I love them. I love them! I have only seen them on youtube. I love how they made werewolf uplifting... as if in reflection of her growth and new attitude towards that experience. The whole thing from beginning to end was reflective, uplifting, sad... their voices are like streams of heaven cutting right into your gut and purifying your heart. The combination of electronic beats, beat-box, harp, flute-like instruments, it was all just perfect and brilliant. I am so glad I got out and went!! I will always remember this.

Opener literally apologized to the crowd, maybe she was having a bad night. But then the bad night seemed to continue with Cocorosie. I am a big fan of their music, but they didn't deliver live... The show was in a historic Synagogue which was cool, but didn't match their style.

I went into this show not fully knowing what to expect in a live situation from this band. Less than a minute into the first song my jaw was agape with awe. These people are very talented. I come from a long history of live performance so I can attest to the fact that all of the sounds heard during this shoe were actually being performed by the Musicians at hand. There were no tricks or shortcuts. The performance was incredible and very moving. I might also add that this band is MUCH better in a live setting than on their recordings.

I love those girls frm their very beginning and used to see them in France. It seems like now they are just repeating themselves, it is so sad. I left before the end of the show. Bianca's voice was badly set, way to loud and irritating. The worst was the "visuals", an awful piece of white sheet in the back where was projected a bad video with the same loop of a b&w clown + a late retransmission of the two sisters singing and filmed from the worst angle with tiny cameras. Usually, the magic of Cocorosie lies in a kind of DIY but here we were riching the limits of ridiculousness. What the point of doing such visuals? Better do nothing! I've never been so desapointed by a Cocorosie show.

I have liked CocoRosie for several years now, and have seen them before. I have always been a fan of their live shows because they are so creative and not like anything else out there. The show I recently saw at Webster Hall was a little sad. They both seemed tired, and like they didn't want to be there. The vibe was a little bit depressing - as opposed to exciting and creative. I don't think I will want to see them anytime soon live...

A most amazing, musical, and emotionally filled show that reaches out to you in creative splendor and simplicity. Different from their previous work, yet with the same high energy and limitless talent that sets these two sisters and their musical companions apart from the media produced, so called, pop artist that are pushed into our faces and ears. The venue, however, had much to be desired. Unlike their venues in San Francisco and Santa Cruz, where the audience can let the music wash over them while being allowed to stand and move, the seated LA venues, just don't cut it. Bottom Line: Great Concert - Bad Venue

I've seen a lot of musical performances, and CocoRosie by far- is the most unique, artistic, dynamic band on stage. With their eclectic, colorful stage performance, mixed with a highly intense, dramatic presence- they put you in a trance! Even if you're not a huge fan, you're in for an amazing show if you like to be entertained!

Wish I could say nicer things here, because my husband and I are fans and went with high expectations... Instead of being inspired, the live song arrangements were poorly constructed and performed - the sound overall was horrendous. The imagery was interesting for a while, but the performing in silhouette got old - it would have been nice to have a little variation. Will definitely continue to follow their antics and exploits, but will likely think twice about dropping nearly $40 a ticket to see them again.

Usually the opening bands are not that great and al you really want to do is get to your main band, but We are the World were intense. They are like nothing i have ever seen before, they were in costume, lively, and very creative. They danced amazingly and their music was great, they totally got the crowd going, at the end they had us begging for more. Cocorosie was amazingly beautiful as awlways, their music transports you into a reverie that they carefully craft for themselves and you only get to look in on for a few hours. They are so creatrive and their energy leaves no one untoched by their talents.I see them any time possible!!!

CocoRosie is such a great live band. Sierra's voice is astounding!! Felt like Bianca was out of it though. That chick Yasmin (didn't catch her last name) they kept pulling on stage irritated me. I entered the door and was greeted with instant melodies that a fan of theirs already has a great acquaintance with and a novice can easily grow to love. Harp strings and voice boxes injected with versatile sound cards(beat box) made goosebumps ripple and my hands reach towards the ceiling of the quaint venue. Many times I found my eyes closed so as to appreciate the ambiance that the lyrics and rhythms continued to provide. In both short and long I was nothing short of mesmerized. It also helped that I was accompanied by an amazing duo of Cocorosie fans that I was able to dance with for the whole night. The morning after consisted of me keeping Cocorosie on repeat, particularly Smokey Taboo. I am now pregnant with joy having experienced them.

Despite making us wait very long, Cocorosie gave an amazing show. I had never seen them live and based on their CDs and the fact that their music relies on so many unconventional instruments, it could easily have been underwhelming. But somehow they managed to capture the magic, spontaneity and absolute sheer musical beauty of their music at its best. Even the interlude was this amazing beatboxing dude, I would go see a whole show of just him too! The venue felt intimate and the crowd was very passionate and altogether made for a very fun and mesmerizing evening. I would go see this show over and over.

Bursting with energy; they seriously know how to put on a performance that never lulls. Saw them in June and didn't hesitate at the thirty dollar ticket price, knew they wouldn't disappoint. You can't help smiling with them; their childlike energy is contagious.

CocoRosie finally took the stage after making the audience suffer through one hour of a bad DJ set slash punk drag performance. Much of the appeal of their music is the mix between precious and quirky. Unfortunately that doesn't translate into a live performance. In fact, one of the sisters' voices simply is annoying and grating without careful post-processing. I went back to the latest CD the next morning and it's a different world. Do avoid them live.

Watching them live let me fully embrace the music. With dancing and singing along I felt part of the musical creation. The atmosphere helped to create the mood, the theater is awesome. I would recommend anyone who is fan of the arts to see Cocorosie and Busdriver or any other artist the Orpheum Host.

CocoRosie was great. This was my first concert seeing them and I was pleased. Cibelle was entertaining but too soft at times so it was hard to hear her. Busdriver was GREAT! I really enjoyed his set and his style. Cibelle, followed by Busdriver, followed by CocoRosie was such a broad range of musical styles, but I really liked that aspect of it. I also liked that this concert was seated because standing for hours on end can be exhausting. CocoRosie did not come on until after 10:30 so we were already there for over two hours before the main act came on. All-in-all I was pleased and enjoyed the concert!

This was my first time seeing Cocorosie live. I thought they had a cool sound and wanted to see them live. They were so much better than I expected. I appreciate their music so much more now. The beat boxer was insane! I've never seen anything like it. The opening acts were weird. Cibelle was aweful and I couldn't wait for her set to end. Busdriver was interesting. But they both played for an hour!! The show was way too long and we left a little early. We had already been there for almost 5 hrs. Cocorosie-worth it! Skip the opening acts unless you're a fan of their's too.
