OMD

An outstanding performance! Show was just fantastic. OMD never disappoints, but this show was amazing in terms of voice, sound and energy! Love the dancing!

The venue is very nice for seeing a show - not really a bad seat. We sat behind the soundboard to ensure optimal sound. One thing to watch for - they had a mic that was about 9 feet tall at the sound board so that did impact the sight line to the stage but not that big of a deal. OMD was top-notch. Starting right on time and for the next 90 minutes, it was fantastic. A good mix of old and new songs - they know the audience wants to hear the hits but they also mix in new songs which are every bit as good as the classics. Light show was very good and added good atmosphere to the songs. Andy has non-stop energy and gets the crowd engaged as well as adding humorous comments in-between songs. Will certainly see them again next time they tour.

Fabulous evening with OMD! Their energy was amazing and they played all of my favourite oldies as well as some new songs. The crowd loved it and atmosphere was electric. I really hope that they come back to Atlanta soon as I would be first up to grab some tickets. A concert not to be missed!!

OMD WAS AMAZING! I SEEN THEM LAST YEAR AND THEY NEVER DISAPPOINT. THE OPENING BAND, DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE BAND NAME, WAS HORRIBLE. COULD NOT EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT THE GIRL WAS SAYING OR SINGING.

They played a lot of their old songs and only a few of the new.

What a great concert even after 40 years these guys can kick it with the best of them, always coming up with the goods and getting everyone up on their feet. Great night great band class act!!!!

Amazing how OMD still delivers powerful performances that keep you on your feet and not wanting to stop. The show brought me back to when I first saw them in 1982. Would rather go to an OMD show instead of the gym, any day. Great FUN!!!

OMD put on an amazing high-energy show! They did not disappoint. We had a blast singing along to all their hits! I would definitely go see them again!

OMD is one of my favorite groups. Their shows are amazing and high energy. Andy McClusky is funny and energetic.

This show looked and sounded great. As usual, the band was enthusiastic and Andy's stage presence was exciting. The only drawback was a set list included no songs from the amazing English Electric album, released just before the new one.

One of the greatest live performances I've ever seen. I heard most of their hits singles and few from the new 'album' English Electric. Although I personally like their earlier work History of Modern better, I felt lucky to hear some of it live. OMD is one of the few bands recording fairly continually since the 80s (depeche mode, U-2, Erasure, ex-SoftCell Mark Almond and ex-Go-Gos Belinda Carlisle. They have lost none of their old skills and even played an extraordinary song called Night Cafe which comes off great live. The theatre was packed and gave a rousing reception to all the original band members. An incredible night which I will never forget as I had been trying to see them play for many many years. Their three song encore was a testament to their fan appreciation. I hope they come back once again.

OMD is overall the best band to see live! Andy's crazy dancing and sarcasm is what makes their concerts so entertaining. I've only been to two/three(amoeba) of their concerts, but i am hooked and cannot miss their concerts( in LA) They are AMAZING and a really nice and friendly band. Highly recommended xx

I bought tickets for my wife, whose a huge fan, as a birthday gift. The group I was with got there about 7pm, waited in line for about an hour. It was at this time that I found out that 2 of us had general admission on the floor level while the other two had balcony seating, which confused me and didn't understand why. The opening act "diamond rings" was average, they played for about 45 minutes. However once OMD came out, they really were amazing. The lead singer was full of energy and has not lost his voice, I can't believe he's 60+ y/o. Most of his songs sound almost exactly the way they sounded 20 years ago. They played for about 2 hours and performed all of their hits.

Fantastic concert from the first song to the last, classic and new songs blend together. Dance till you drop music, great atmosphere, great venue and really good supporting act in Diamond Rings

Been so long since they have been in Los Angeles. I have been a fan since i was a teenager. they were my first ever concert during their Crush Tour. They were awesome. I appreciated the extra long set. Their opening band, "diamond rings" was a great choice too. I really liked his band especially the key board player. their music was cool too.

this was such a fun show. they really had a great studio-quality sound. it's fun to see a band like this connect with the audience. there is a level of trust that wasn't allowed when we were all much younger and rowdier. great venue and warmup band.

Loved every second of the concert! Andy always knows how to entertain the crowd, the band sounds so perfect live it is just amazing!! This was my 3rd time seeing them perform and it was as great as the first time!!!

While OMD's triumphant performance during a sandstorm at the Gobi tent at Coachella was all about their fast paced dance songs, their full set at the Fonda on Monday night was a masterful mixture of those songs with the more contemplative melancholy songs which really distinguish these British pioneers from all of the other synth-based acts of the past thirty-five years. It was a sign of their continued relevance and good health that many of the highlights at the Fonda were songs from their brand new album English Electric and that these new songs such as the set opener Metroland are among their very best. Make sure to catch OMD on their continued tour this summer or if you're still in doubt listen to the brand new English Electric on BMG.

OMD is sooooo GREAT live! They sound just as good in person as on their original recorded hits - LOVE that! They played a lot of their old hits that everyone is familiar with, which is always a plus when you go to see a band you love. The new songs are great too! Andy McCluskey's awesome moves and dynamic on-stage presence gave the show its "electricity". Go Andy! Loved it when Paul took over the mic for some of my favorite songs! Great group! Great music! Great fun!!

Just put on your dancing shoes and start jumping. OMD rocked on and danced away. The crowd loved the ride. Even better in the small venue like the Fonda. The songs take you back, and then they take you forward. You feel good all the way home and the next day too. Can't wait until the next OMD tour pulls into town.

They made us feel 17 again. Really good show, and full of energy.

I really enjoyed this performance. OMD seemed to have captured their original sound, They mixed just enough of their hits to not loose the audience with their new music. The band has really improved in the past two years. The acoustics at the Fonda were outstanding. Diamond Rings seemed to be a cross between Debbie Gibson and Vanilla Ice.

Fantastic concert and would highly recommend seeing them. Have the original Vinyl and brought back a lot of great memories. High energy and would actually go again!

I've seen a lot of new wave/80s bands that time hasn't been nice to. OMD definitely isn't one of those. Their voices have remained great, Andy was dancing around like a 20 year old, and they played a nice mix of old and newly released music. They played longer than scheduled and still did a 3 song encore!

they are still bringing out wonderful new music (unlike for instance depeche mode)... and they played a bunch of new songs along with all the famous hits of the 80's... and they seem like they're loving it! very highly recommend!

The music, the voice, the vibe, it's all you remember and more. While young musicians may bring new energy and sounds, seasoned musicians give disciplined stellar performances. With OMD you get the best of both worlds. The hits you recognize will take you back to the moments you first enjoyed them while the bands youthful energy will inspire you to dance and maybe throw a fist pump or two. Whether you only know one OMD song, or have memorized every track on every album, you will be glad you came.

First time at the State Theatre and remarkably first time seeing OMD as a Brit now a little older. Intimate venue with balcony seating at a premium that I paid for. The staff were really friendly at the State sorting out a slight ticket problem I had. OMD really brilliant, energetic performance engaging with the audience throughout. Mainly a greatest hits performance that went down extremely well. Great night

Seeing OMD live in Atlanta, GA (Center Stage Theater) was phenomenal. It was truly a dream come true for a fan of almost 3 decades. The venue was intimate, the music was so skillfully made, and the ticket purchase was so easy. I would absolutely see them again at the same venue or a different one. I can't wait for the next exciting event to come along!

I've been going to concerts for around 40 years, and have rarely been to one better than this. The 1,050 seat venue was perfect for keeping audience engaged, and Andy McCluskey fed off it the entire show, dancing like crazy. A really enjoyable 100 minute set, good mix of new songs and the old hits. OMD are NOT one of those "nostalgia bands", they continue to make excellent records.

I've been a fan of this band since the early 80s and have followed their career yet never got to see them live. I went to the show hoping to hear new and old tracks and hoping to hear them sound relatively good...as some venues can make me wish I stayed home to hear it on an mp3 player as the house sound can be muddy, and painful to listen to. As a synthesist, and a lover of electronic music, you want to hear the crisp sounds, clear sound. Well, this show did it in aces in my book, I was very near the front house right speakers and was able to comfortably listen without discomfort or use of earplugs. It sounded like I was listening on headphones, it was clear and clean yet richly mixed through the full sonic spectrum. You could feel the bass yet not feel gut-punched by it. Andy's voice was amazing, and he can still sing incredibly well, with tight performances by Paul and the rest. Paul's vocals were a joy to hear on the few songs he featured in. The band's response and interaction with the crowd was delightful and you can tell he was genuinely touched and invigorated by the audience's enthusiastic love and reaction. The new and old songs were nicely arranged and felt live even though we know backing tracks/sequences are used, it still felt immediate and consistently "performed" rather than played to...if that makes sense. Anyway, it was a fun and amazing show, and I hope they return soon. After the show, Andy met with fans and was kind, patient and pleasantly chatty. He seemed relaxed and truly comfortable talking with the small group, and honoring selfie and autograph requests. I just wanted to shake his hand and thank him for the years of music and inspiration (as I am a musician because of the influence of groups like OMD, Numan and a few others). He complimented me on my coat and we chatted about it for a bit and then I had to go. On my way out I saw Paul came out to chat and wished I had stayed a little longer to say Hi to him as well. Hopefully there will be another show soon!

I've waited a long time to see OMD and the wait was worth it!! I've been to many concerts, but at none have I danced as much as I did at OMD! Andy's dancing and the band's infectious energy made the night completely unforgettable. Their set list was AMAZING. The VIP experience is worth it, too. Super nice guys. Don't question it - just buy the tickets and GO!

Great intimate venue, no need for side screens, you can watch the actual performers! I forgot that this event was complete open seating or i would've gotten there even earlier, but you can't be too far away.parking was easy, leaving after the show was too. OMD was OMD. A quintessential 80's sensation that was engaging, entertaining and technically sound. Too many hits to mention. We had a great time!

Honestly, this is probably one of the best shows I've been to. Ever. Anything Box at #Numbers last April was amazing. This was right up there. OMD sounded great, looked great, were energetic. I didn't want it to end (except my feet were hurting--curse of age). I could go on and on, but you don't care. Just go see them, where ever you are.

Amazing and Amazing and AMAZING!!! Andy and crew sound just like they did when I was 14-15 yrs old. I saw them all those years ago and fell in love! Andy still dances and expresses himself the same way. Truly amazing show! I really hope they come back to Houston!! I would attend again. Played a nice set too. Loved the lights. Best show I've seen in 2018.

If you love to sing, dance, smile, and have a great time... then you have to see OMD! The singer is so energetic and engaging and the sound was perfect. We danced all night and are still beaming days later.

OMD put on an amazing show. All the hits you remember plus other nuggets from the past and strong material too. The band sounded great and the crowd was pumped. All around a great show.

This is my third time to see OMD, and they did not disappoint. The sound was amazing, and the songs were like a hit parade of OMD gems. The band was in perfect form, smiling and having a good time. Fantastic Concert! The guys did not disappoint. Only problem was the venue was freezing!

I always seem to be the "lucky" one who gets the tall idiots who have to be standing up in front of me throughout the concert and I miss seeing a good portion of the show. It would be nice if the Wiltern had giant screens off to the sides for "lucky" people like me. And if I tell them if they could sit down once in a while I almost guarantee you a fight.
