Disney Junior Dance Party On Tour

The Venue is Beautiful, the show was fun and the dancing was great. My 2 year old had a good time.

My almost 4 y/o grandson danced and smiled the entire show! The DJ J even took a picture with him. Loads of souvenirs for sale. The animations playing in the background on huge Mickey outline were phenomenal.

We brought our almost 2 and almost 4 year old to the Disney Jr Dance Party. They maybe sat down for 5 minutes the entire time. Engaged throughout. Danced throughout. The smiles on their faces were priceless. I would highly recommend this. A little on the spendier side but well worth it.

It creates the magic for kids and special moments for family! A way to spend your night dancing, singing and living the magical life!

I went with my bestfriend and her two little girls and they absolutely loved it. The production was amazing. It s super interactive, kids learn dance moves, are able to go to the front of the venue and dance, and are able to be featured on the big screen. I highly reccommend attending this event, kids love it and its fun for adults.

Any avid viewer of the Disney Junior channel will love this show. My three year old lost her mind when each of her favorite characters appeared. The hosts of the show make it fun and interactive for the audience. Highly recommended.

The Disney Jr Dance Party was nothing short of amazing. The tour DJ's (Dee and Jay) had the kids attention from the start to finish. I love how this felt like a concert as well. My daughter was so engaged she never sat down. This is well worth the money and honestly one of the best kids shows I've ever seen. Bravo!!!

This is by far my favorite children's show I've seen. From the beginning to the end I was transfixed. (And I'm not 5!) The energy of the two hosts was fabulous, the story was cute, Micky, Minnie and friends all showed up and the music was...well...Disney! :p But the stand out of the whole event was the all round DANCING! Talk about a Dance Party!!! Those performers on stage did not stop dancing for an hour straight! And they were so GOOOOOOOOD! Add to that the ongoing audience interaction and - "Ladies and Gents we have a winner!" Aside from the usual call response of kids shows, the performers spend a lot of time in the audience, with kids being interviewed and even ending up on the big screen! This is a party for kids and parents alike. Take your family. You won't regret it!

Great show for the whole family! From the characters to the production, this tour is worth every penny!

Best young children s show we have been to. My 5 year old granddaughter was entranced and spent the whole show dancing and singing along with the characters. My 8 year old grandson was slightly bored, but loved the snow and confetti. As an adult, my only complaint was that the lights were sometimes blinding in the orchestra seats.

My 4 year old daughter loves to sing and dance and also loves the Disney jr characters so I thought this would be perfect for her. We sat up stairs but in the very front row as I didn t want to pay $100 to sit in the orchestra section but still wanted a good view. The first 15 minutes of the show is the two hosts who talk and dance and sing which I though was a waist of time. They also have a dance crew who danced the whole time. Story line about losing their disco ball was a little lame and hard to follow for the littles. The live characters we saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofey, Doc McStuffins, Sophia, Vamparina, and Elena. The rest were on a TV screen which was really disappointing. Unless you are sitting the first two rows of the theater, it was difficult to stand up and dance because then the people behind would be blocked. The hosts also come down and only talk to and dance with the people in the first two rows. They also shoot out snow and confetti but it only drops to middle section of the theater so the kids on the sides were super disappointed. All in all my daughter wasn t too excited about it. My suggestion is to save your money and visit the real Disney Jr show at Disney s California Adventure or Hollywood Studios where you ll get your moneys worth with the entire park as well!

Everything was well put together and even allowed a break for the kids. It was great and my kids enjoyed it as well as myself.

My children adore all the Disney junior characters and it was such a disappointment basically more then half of the characters were only displayed on a screen instead of having them physically come out on stage. For that I could have just played the theme songs on my projector at home. Save your money and time.

I won't go to any concert at this venue. period. The setting was terrible where it's all flat and all chairs are at the same height/level. That means if you are not at the front rows, you won't see anything! There was one part where they ask the crowd to stand up and dance which was ridiculous because my three year old girl already couldn't see anything on my lap and having her on the floor to dance guaranteed we see nothing. We took off at intermission because she wasn't having it.

Overall for the money it was not worth it, will stick with Disney on Ice.

The show didn t have many characters dancing. Mainly people doing dancing. We didn t get to see Mickey Minnie and other characters that much. They were dancing. Just dancers dancing. My kids were so disappointed. We saw people leaving the show early too...wish we could get a refund. Glad we didn t pay for front row.

We went to the Disney Junior dance party at California Adventure and the 25 min show was amazing, my son loved every second of it. I thought since he loved that show so much then this longer show would be even better....it was terrible!! The characters were were all scary looking, they didn t engage with the audience and most the kids sitting around us looked very bored. My son screamed and cried most the time so we ended up leaving early. Waste of money and would never recommend this show!

This show is good for kids 3 years and older who knows all the characters. The sound system was not great, cannot hear clearly the conversation. The production could have done better. The kids were only looking at the stage when the music is on but during dialogues they are looking somewhere else.

Loved the VIP experience, but too expensive for a family. Should be more affordable so all can enjoy.

Disappointed that the majority of the show was cartoons projected on a screen. Very little in way of live character action.

My daughter had an amazing time. She was so excited to see everyone.

The crew (4 grandchildren) had the best time. They danced, screamed and hollered. I had fun watching them have fun.

My two grandsons and their friend had such a fun time. They knew most of the songs from the Disney channel shows. They danced in the aisles with other children. Time went quickly. I had fun watching them. The show was very entertaining with great dancing and singing routines. And of course there was Mickey, Minnie and Goofy!!

This show was a huge disappointment for my family and friends. The biggest issue we had was the whole show was on the screen and honestly quite boring. We could have watched television at home, for free. There should have been more live characters in this LIVE show. Also, the show was all over the place and did not have a good story line at all. I expected so much more for the price. I would not attend this again and the price was quite high for the seats. We could barely see in the venue and the seats were SO close together. Half way through my 4 year old asked to go home. That says it all for me. Last is parking, $15.00 to park per car was not acceptable. Never again.

Our children LOVE live shows. In the past 6 months, we've gone to see Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, and then Paw Patrol again. We assumed since this was a Disney event that it would be great and we were wrong. Disney Junior targets toddlers and this was not for toddlers at all. Most of the show was 2 people in regular clothing dancing around and talking. There were minimal appearances by characters in costumes. Most everything character related was on a TV screen on the stage. Again - not for toddlers. I expected there to be Puppy Dog Pals to come out - didn't happen. The Doc McStuffins crew - didn't happen. Very disappointing and miserable to sit through.

One needs to be in certain areas of the theater in order to have a view of the entire stage. With that being said, the screen should've been moved more towards the front. I barely knew what was all involved during the show due to a limited visual/despicable seating.

The disappointment was the characters such as Bingo, Rolly, The Lion Guard and the Doc Mcstuffins toys were only on the screen and not actual characters on stage. My 4 year old daughter was really looking forward to seeing them on stage.

I took my 3 year old daughter and 16 year old son to the event. My daughter is the biggest fan of the disney characters and really enjoyed herself. The only thing that I did not like or would have liked to have seen would be more of the disney characters on stage and possible just a little off stage interaction from the characters. Although they had the VIP for the children to meet the characters backstage everyone like myself can not afford to pay the price that was asked for. My daughter cried her little eyes out because all she kept saying to me was that she wanted to hug Minnie and because she couldn't and there was nothing I could do about it that made me feel really sad.

My children had so much fun! The cast encouraged kids and parents to dance and interact. It was fantastic!

I have been to many live disney events and this was the worst experience. 40 minutes in and all we have seen is the dancers and dj. They didn t have the crowds attention at all. The characters were not in the show very much 90% of time was dancers which children don t care about. Won t go back.

Cute for what it was but when I go to a Disney show I expect to see the characters and honestly the Disney characters were out there less than half the time. We spent the whole night just waiting for the characters to come out and they hardly did. We made the best of it but my five year old quickly became bored because the characters were not out there very much and there was way too much talking to keep the kids entertained. Having said that it was a pretty good show; the actors did a very good job on stage. They were engaging and funny. The music and the dancing was fun.

With the character tea party, you would think this would be a character dance party, but mostly teens singing and dancing. Couldn t understand dialogue in balcony. Forget photo ban. All parents videoing and taking pics. Annoying! We left at intermission along with many.

The show was horrible. It was lame. A waste of my money. Our location was sold out, so we drove 3 1/2 hours to this location. The area itself was amazing. But the actual show, I wasted my money. My 3 year old was ready to go after 30 mins.....

Our 2-1/2 year old enjoyed it, but I think 2-1/2 is still a bit young to really enjoy the full experience of this type of show. We were wishing for more actual characters on stage at all times instead of a lot of narration and use of the screen.

Too much time spent with mc s and not enough with Disney characters. Mc content seemed to be geared towards older kids so younger kids 3 and under lost interest when they were on stage. Seemed like intermission was timed poorly (was placed later in the show, so upon returning there was only 20 minutes left). Would have rather just gone straight through versus breaking it up. I love this Venue, but not sure it was the greatest for this type of event. Concession only offered popcorn, candy, and drinks.

I bought the VIP tickets because my daughter loves tea parties, but the pre-show events were scrapped, and they just had an after party. The after party was nice. They gave the kids snacks and let them dance and meet some of the characters. The biggest reason I'm ok with not having the tea party is the location of our seats. My daughter could see everything, and she really enjoyed herself.

There should have been more interaction from the Disney characters instead of the two DJs who never left the stage. The talking and joking around was not suitable for the show's age group. My 5 and 2 year olds wanted to sing and dance with their favorite characters not listen to and watch two adults being dumb on stage the whole show. Definitely not worth the ticket cost or travel time.

We sat in the first row of section H. We could only see about 3/4 of the stage. The giant Mickey DJ head was blocking the big screens in the back and much of the stage. There was no warning of having an obstructed view when we bought tickets! My daughter was so frustrated the entire show and because of the terrible view everyone in front of us had their kids standing on chairs which made the view even worse. Usually anything Disney is awesome, this was just terrible! Don t buy any tickets on the left side of the show, you won t be able to see anything. Such a disappointment!

The real Character's bring DSJR. to life! Must see

The Disney kids were so animated and captivating. All the little ones could not take their eyes off of them! Production was so cool! Emcees were great. The girl who played Sophia did alot of parts in the show ..very talented!! I would bring my niece back for sure!!!

The only good thing was I only had to drive 10 minutes. The layout was not planned out and seating chart misleading. You pay to be in front to have a giant mickey head block your view. By the middle the whole front left seats had to find a new location.My 3 year old looked so sad looking for puppy dog pals while they were on a screen we could not see. Half the characters were on a screen , others were not true to character. vamparina was unrecognizable. I m afraid to attend any future shows. I was very excited for it to be close to home. I hope next time they think about the layout better. Very disappointing.

Shameful that you would sell tickets to a children s show and then completely block the view of the stage for the kids! We were on the left side of the stage and you couldn t see a thing because of the Mickey shaped DJ booth. My kids were heartbroken. The venue was horrible compared to other Disney shows I ve been to, which took place in actual theaters. This was a converted ice rink and we sat on folding chairs. Definitely not worth it.

We were very disappointed with this venue and show. There was one door in and out which made for very long lines. The chairs were on top of each other. There was a Mickey head on stage which made all seats on the left side impossible to see the stage. My 3 children were very disappointed because they could not see the stage from row 8 in front section. This was worst kids show I was ever at!

Wanted a special experience for my daughter so bought VIP tickets, 4th row. Sadly, it was an OBSTRUCTED VIEW! There was a large Mickey speaker that blocked the main screen and the characters for half the show (though preferred over the view my friend had sitting in the front row of the bleachers of the production crews \u2018crack (see below). Then the VIP promises an \u2018amazing personal experience with the characters. It was a quick picture and you re rushed through. Really disappointed.

Short show but the little one enjotnit from beginning to the end. Show time was an hour and a half

The Lyric in Baltimore is a great venue option now that there is a parking garage! There were so many helpful staff ready to answer any questions. I loves that there were many concession stands set up so that you didn t ever have to wait in a long line. The dance party show was fun, but definitely needed more characters for the boys. Puppy dog pals and Lion Guard were only shown on screens. Almost all of the characters except for Mickey and Goofy were girls. They did a great job interacting with the audience, and the dancers and costumes were fun. For the price, you can t beat it!

Our two year old daughter is an avid Disney Junior fan and she really enjoyed the show. It was her first event like this she danced and sang and was very mesmerized. As an adult, I enjoyed watching the kids be excited. The dancers were very good. I was hoping there will be more characters in costumes. There was a lot of sketches with characters on a big screen and animated with live folks dancing. The dancers were great, but the only in costume characters were Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Princess Elena, Sofia the First, and Doc McStuffins.

Our twins are almost 3. This was an early birthday gift. They LOVED the show! They can't wait for their next Disney Live experience!

The lead actors D and J were awesome and made the show very entertaining for the grown-ups! Especially J . Seriously talented singer, dancer, actor, comedian!

I really recommend purchasing the VIP. My granddaughter had a great time meeting the characters after the show! I do have one suggestion, more tables & seating for parents, especially because you have food & drinks

Wow! Amazing! The whole show was spectacular. I THINK I HAD MORE FUN THEN THE CHILDREN.

I am hoping this comes back to Phoenix soon, because we definitely want to go again! Our boys, age 6 and 3, absolutely loved it. It was a perfect family night. I haven't seen my 3 year old that engaged in a show or movie or anything every for that long of time. Both were singing and dancing and just had a blast. If you have young kids who watch Disney Junior, they will love it! Comerica Theater was a perfect venue too, easy to park and walk to with little kids, and because it's smaller it wasn't too overwhelming like other Disney events we've done in the city at other venues.

My 2 year old watches disney jr. on TV so to see them "come to life" was mind blowing for her. Seriously... she looked at me, eyes wide open, like "FOR REAL!". It's that moment as a parent, it just melts your heart. She was so excited she couldn't sit still.. well she can't sit still much anyway but she definitely kept getting up to jump up and down and dance. I've never been to this theater before so maybe it's like this regularly, but the seats were just chairs they lined up and set out rather than bolted down seats. This worked well so the kids had room to dance. However I did notice that further back there wasn't much of a rise in the floor so they used taller bar height chairs so the back can see over the front. I'm glad I didn't sit back there. Maybe for older, taller kids who can get in and out of those seats on their own.

My daughter had a blast at this even. It was very nice to have something fun for the kids to dance and sing along too. I did think it was a little short for the price point of $42 per ticket. It started at 4, ended around 6:15 with a 30 minute intermission. I thought each half of the show should have been an hour, but thats my personal opinion. Also, they need to take a second shot at the vampirina costume (well the makeup more so), as it was bit freaky looking lol. The music was great, the flow of the show kept my child entertained, and surprisngly the "swag" you can buy (tshirts etc), were not extremely overpriced, $20 but a tshirt i think is pretty reasonable (especially for Disney show -I am comparing to Disney on Ice etc). We'd go again!

The show was awesome and my son had a great time dancing but seriously you don t have popcorn, cotton candy or food of any kind other then bagged chips I ll drive the extra bit to San Jose never again here shame beautiful theater.

Full of energy. My 4-year-old grandson was in awe. Watching him and his eyes were just lit up with happiness. He knew a lot of the songs and the encouragement for not just the little ones but for everyone (yes, including the grandmas) to just dance was super fun. Great job!

We had four seats in the 7th row on the Left Side of the main floor. The giant Mickey head was placed in the front of the stage and completely blocked the video screen for most of our section. Since the show relied heavily on the large screen video we missed most of the show. In the 90 minute show the Disney Jr. characters were on stage for about 15 or 20 minutes. Very disappointing.

This event was a waste of money!!! You re basically paying to watch Disney characters on a big screen tv! The only mascots that was there was Mickey, Minnie and goofy. Real people were sophia, Elena, doc mcstuffins and vampirina. The two DJ s that was hosting it basically took over the event. It was kind of annoying but at least my toddler had fun! Disney on ice is way better and worth your money.

When my oldest was about 4 (10 years ago) I had taken her to a Disney Live performance and was blown away. The stage was always full of characters that looked like they walked out of Disney World, the stage sets changed several times (and were all great), their was fireworks, etc. So I was excited to take my youngest (3 yrs old) to see Disney Live, and even drove 1 1/2 hours because that was the closest venue. What we found was SAD! The whole thing consisted of a small stage and a video screen. There were 2 'hosts' throughout the show that kept acting like they were talking to characters on the video screen. It was like watching Disney Jr at home on TV. It was 25 minutes in before you saw a Disney character in costume, and there were only 3 characters in costume like you would see at a park and 3-4 ladies dressed supposedly like doc, vamperina, elena, etc. that looked nothing like them. 50 minutes in they took an intermission (so you could go buy souvenirs (because after coming back the whole thing was only 20 more minutes), my child (and most of the theatre that was 4 and under) were ready to go. I had to beg him to stay, and myself and the rest of my row still left early, because small children were tired of watching grown people run from one side of the stage to the other? I wish I had gone to Sesame Street Live

I took a 4 year old girl to the show. We sat in orchestra 2 , 2 rows from the back. She had a little trouble seeing the stage. I thought the D J was featured too much and the characters not enough. Her favorite parts were Vampirina and the Lion Guard. She loves Minnie Mouse and did not get to see her enough.

I took my 3 and 5 year old to see it. I was truly expecting an unforgettable experience. I felt the entire show was more like us watching a giant movie. Why pay so much to watch TV?

If we wanted to see characters on a screen we would have stayed home. We came to see Mickey and my son's favorite characters, not "D" and "J". Most of the merchandise was for Vamparina and nothing else. We were three rows from the stage, I would have been very upset if I paid for the VIP tickets and only characters were for girls. Mickey was on stage for maybe ten minutes total. We would not see this show again.

Took two 5 year olds. They expected to see Lionguard, Puppy Dog Pals, Muppet Babies. These were only cartoons played on a screen. Disappointing! First 20 minutes were two people talking. Not very entertaining for little ones.

Such a great show for the kids! My daughter didn t want to move she was in awe. I m very pleased with this concert.

Based on the advertising I saw for the show, I was expecting to see more Disney costumed characters on stage rather than projected on a screen. Although the digital images are very high resolution and colorful, nothing beats seeing the characters come out onto stage.

The Show was presented very well for the age group it targeted. My daughter is 6 and loved it! It was a fun surprise for her. The VIP party was a little chaotic but fun. The meet and greets are what that main purpose was for. The cast was super nice during and after the show. We even got a picture with "J" afterwards as we happened to walk out with him. He was no longer in character but he was super sweet and took a picture as well. I have recommended this show to several people for fall events opening up.

We attended Disney Junior Dance Party on May 6th. I was very disappointed in the concessions for children. It was geared more towards adults with only offering a few choices of chips, animal crackers and lots of alcoholic beverages. The performance was disappointing as well. I suppose I expected to see more characters in costumes and not on a screen. The costumes for the people were mediocre as well. My daughter is 4 andbdhe even questioned some of it.

Very disappointed with Taft Theatre. It was very warm and everything was CASH ONLY! Not a wise decision on their part.....lets keep up with the times.....no one carries cash anymore. As far as the show it was like watching TV with 2 people hosting. For the price of the ticket I would have expected more characters for the younger audience. I will not be attending this event again.

There were no audience involvement, it was very disappointing

The actual Disney characters the kids want to see weren t on the stage nearly enough, too much of D and J and regular people dancing instead of the characters. Intermission also wasn t needed being that it was only before the last 20 minutes.

1. Theater has only 6 Toilets in box seat floor? Kids show? come'on! You can imagine how bad its get in intermission and it DID! 2. Entire show with DJ's stage. They are really really good actors but dancer is maybe only 6 or 7 people rotating the consumes. Same dancer, same host for entire show and same thing over and over until present one Disney character in same pattern. One character with same dancers. No surprise or no story to it. and Character did not do much, and take off. They come out behind curtain, sing a few song and then, back to looooong DJ (the host) talking. Could perform a bit more with funny way. My grand daughter at first was exited, then got bored, then wanted go home and she is die hard fan for Disney Jr. A family front of us left seat never came back. Jay (Man host) great dancer and he did many tricks. That was only the good part of the show. We saw other competitor's show this year, all of us was mesmerized entire show, this time, sorry, it was not worth paying 57 dollars for it.

We took our 3,5 and 9 years olds girls and none of them loved it. We love shows and Disney but this was not worth the money spent. We were very disappointed.

Too much talking by hosts and not enough characters in costume. Based on the commercial we saw before buying the tickets, we thought there would be more characters in mascot-type costumes. There were only 4 characters, then 3 adults dressed up as child characters with child voices (kind of creepy) and the rest were just on a screen. It was 1 and a half hours long and the hosts talked and walked around stage acting weird at least 1/3 of the time. My toddler was amused during parts of the show, but it was not worth $150 for 3 tickets (after fees).

This show was cute but not exactly what I expected or what it looked like on the commercials. There is way too much talking by the "DJs" who introduce the show. The first 15 minutes is just them on the stage talking and they talk way too much during the show. There needs to be more Disney characters on stage singing and dancing - that is what the kids want to see. Not the back up dancers and DJs. I would recommend limiting the time that the DJs and back up dancers are the only ones on stage and increase the Disney character's time on stage and include more Disney characters in the show - not just a video of them - actual characters on stage.

Taft Theatre isn't a place I would have an event like this. Parents trying to hold their child so they could see the stage, very little dance room for the toddlers that just couldn't stay in their seat. Not enough interaction with the children.

Sadly disappointed with the show. Excitedly took my five and two year-old boys, but was met with mostly video imaging and two individuals basically singing the intro to the songs. They bring Mickie out for only 30 seconds in the first half and the the last two minutes of the second. My two year old was asking when the characters were coming out the whole time. Also, for anyone who's been to Disney World or Disneyland the characters look different than you would meet at the park. Doc McStuffins and Princess Sophia are just girls dressed up. My boys continually asked where the real characters were. It became confusing and disappointing. Plus the girl playing Doc was used throughout the show as a backup dancer with a different wig- even my boys noticed that one. Actually shocked we lasted the whole time.

honestly this was DJ's and the DJ dance crew mostly, most of the characters were on the big screen behind them. You had a few characters pop up for like 1 song a piece. The DJ dance crew sang and dance to the shows opening songs. Very disappointing. I don't think the DJ's should have had the biggest part in the show. We can stay home and see the cartoons on the TV. Can't believe this was a Disney production.

It was good. I thought it would be more character driven vs. the DJs. Very interactive and highlighted all the Disney junior theme songs, even the muppet babies remake. It was the perfect length for a typical concert, but it might be a little long for the little ones. There was an intermission, which was good.

My son and niece really enjoyed the show so did me and my sister will go again.

Thought it would be more music and characters not 2 djs acting like a Disney show. My daughter was very upset puppy dog pals where not walking around and only showed up on a screen( we couldn't see from side stage.)

The show was boring! Most of it was on the screen. Also the characters were hard to see. Need to be more interesting and interactive with characters the whole time versus the two actor kids

I am very disappointed by this Disney production. In the first hour you only saw about 4 characters. the rest was just 2 people hosting and people dancers. Also, many of the characters we expected to see were just shown on a big video screen in the background like Puppy Dog Pals, Mickey and the Roadster Racers and The Lion Guard are just some examples. Also my 4 year old Daugherty was very disappointed that of the 2 songs that Vampirina sang, her theme song was not one of them. I just feel the show was just very bad and did not live up to Disney standards at all.

Disney completely missed the mark on this dance party. There was very little done to get the audience involved. The dancers came off the stage and only interacted with the VIP section down front. They should have come up and danced in the aisles. There was too much talking/down time in between the songs so our kids were bored. Could have been a high energy fun time...not so much.

This was a terrible show. The DJ's talked for too long and majority of the characters were on the screen and not live in person. Too expensive for a mediocre show.

The show was great and kids loved it but when I bought the tickets months in advance thinking I got great seats, it turned out we couldn't see the screen on the stage. Our kids had to get out of the seats and walk over to the center of the theater to see what was going on. I paid a lot for the seats and got a front row so we wouldn't have anyone blocking their view but it didn't work out as planned. Make sure to buy seats in the center of the theater if you want to see the whole thing.

I was pretty disappointed that there were so few characters who hardly appeared on the stage. I only saw: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Vampirina, Elena, Sophia, and Doc. Majority of the show was focused on the dancers with minimal character stage time.
