I went to the show last Saturday, and it was incredibly inspiring. It is so great to know there are other people out there who care about animal conservation! The tigers were beautiful and Jay was so authentic and genuine. He interacted with the crowd and displayed an array of illusions. He helped me better understand those beautiful animals and I left encouraged there are still good people in the world. I enjoyed the family aspect and appreciated his vulnerability with the audience! Life can be dark and rough and it helps to know you are not alone in your feelings. All around amazing way to spend a Saturday night!

Tonight we went to see Jay Owenhouse the illusionist. First of all, it was a GREAT show. Jay Owenhouse's illusions were awesome. His tigers were beautiful. His family just love. I laughed. I fully enjoyed myself. I felt engaged & just happy to be there sharing such a great time with Jeff & the kids. Seeing their faces enjoying every moment. But I didn't expect to cry. Sob might be more accurate. Before the show I "randomly" turned right to the bio pages. The way he talked about his kids was so authentic. I felt like I knew them & loved their essence. Then I read about his wife off 22 years who passed away in 2009, as a mother of still young children. His pure love for her was evident in his words. And his Faith in God also presented with such power. At that moment I felt connected. At the end of such a incredibly fun entertaining show, Jay referenced the hard times they had been through. He reached out to the audience & expressed knowing that there were people going through hard times (cue the tears). I wish I had a \u2018tape recorder, because never could I articulate what he said with such astounding depth. He used a puzzle and illustrated how life s challenges can throw us off. He moved the puzzle as he talked about God and the greater plan through not only difficult times but through tragedy. Things that don t make sense. But in the end the puzzle comes together. This man s words held so much authority because he & his children have lived through tragedy. His wife died. Their mother died. And his message was that through the pain, there can be peace. I have no doubt he & their children still love her with their whole beings. And that she is a still an essential part of their every day existence & purpose. They were able to put the puzzle together. And maintain their faith in God & live in faith. The ultimate peace I felt through the sobbing (that is apparently possible), was more a gift than I ever ever could explain. Other than that God brought us there, together with their family. We share something different than most. I don t know how our puzzle will come together, but tonight God showed me so clearly that it will. I met him after the show. We talked. He will pray for us. I know he will. God, I know I have felt lost in faith this last year. I have been angry & asked Why?But tonight you reminded me just how present You are.

Catered to kids - a few impressive tricks and tigers were magnificent - but too much religiosity

Not as exciting as I thought it would be. Grand kids did enjoy it. Liked seeing the tigers and the story behind them.

The kids really enjoyed the show. Unfortunately, it was rife with technical difficulties and sound issues. Ticket prices were way to high, as show was not nearly exciting enough to justify the prices. Aside from a few minutes of drama the overall pace was a slow. In the middle of the show there was a random element of proselytizing where Jay went into a long talk about faith and God which was unexpected and a little off-putting (mostly because it was very unexpected and random). The kids enjoyed the show, but I would not pay that money to see that show again. I have no problem paying for good entertainment, but this was just too slow paced and not nearly enough excitement.

I read reviews prior to buying tickets and it states he's one of the top 10 in the US. I've seen way better on TV shows such as AGT! He's presentation of each illusion is so slow that I was bored very quickly. He didn't do anything that I haven't already seen. Others on stage did not appear to have experience with performing. Not what I expected for $50 a ticket.

This was an amazing, family oriented show and very educational in regards to the life of the Bengal Tiger and their low numbered population. A real eye opener once you see these beautiful animals up close. The overall show was just a blast. The interaction that Jay has with his fans is second to none. I highly recommend doing the gold VIP for the back stage meet and greet. I will definitely take my family to see his show again.

Small venue with many kids in the audience. Kids liked seeing the tigers and hearing about them, but I expected a show vs. a "show and tell" about his family and tigers. Add technical issues and I found the show to be an "average" show for the price. It was neat, just not what I expected

I met Jay and his family backstage before the show. I was able to get within two feet of his magnificent tigers. He has a beautiful, very spiritual, family. Tragically he lost his wife fairly recently and this sadness throughout the program was evident. Unfortunately, and I mean this in a very constructive way, his show seemed somewhat adlib. His beautiful tigers were a very small part of the show (the white tiger had been injured recently). Jay made it all ok at the end of the show to speak about his belief in God. Most entertainers would never take the chance of offending anyone in the audience. This was a beautiful moment. God bless Jay and his family.

I tried to follow how he would do the illusions but was constantly amazed and baffled by what I was seeing. He also had a very good message about the important things in life. It was a great show and he has a great sense of humor.

The show was disappointing and not nearly what we had expected. The quality of the acts was well below anything we have seen in the past in regards to an illusionist. We left very unsatisfied for what we paid and the time spent.

This is an awesome show! You will entertained by this family and crew! Class act for the whole family! You also will be touched by the love this family has for each other the tiger's and crew. Owen's Faith will shine and encourage all of us to love one another and never let a moment be wasted on letting others know that we care. I came away a better person!

If you are into cheesy corny magic, this is your show. The tigers were one of the very few interesting parts and most of that was watching them drink milk from a baby bottle. This is the first time I have walked out before a show is over. I would have walked out sooner but I thought I paid more for the tickets then I did.

Jay Owenhouse's show was amazing. The two tigers were a bonus! His children all having integral parts of the show made it even more special. Jay has a special gift and I'm glad he shared it with Fort Wayne.

Loved everything about this show. It was fast paced and full of surprises. As VIP ticket holders, we went back stage to meet the tigers and learned all about Jay's tiger sanctuary. He is working to save them from extinction. His story and his family are an inspiration to others. Loved everything about the show.

Not worth all the money spent. This family has hearts of Gold! The acts are just old and you can figure out how they are done. The Tigers are pretty awesome, but would have liked to see them longer on the stage. All the travel they go through for them to be on stage 5 minutes was disappointing.

We had a great time. He is very personable and enter acts with the audience. My Grand Son was awed. We were greatly surprised when we were invited back stage before the show to meet him and see the loins. So beautiful. Thanks again.

Jay and his family put on a great show - its a shame Ticketmaster or the Embassy didn't promote it better. Wasn't a full house and it should have been.

Jay Owenhouse was a fantastic entertainer. Connected with the audience. We got a pass to see his tigers back stage and that can't be outdone. He was amazing with the illusions that he performed. I only shake my head at wondering how he did it all.

Full disclosure: I had never heard of illusionist Jay Owenhouse before buying the tickets for my sister-in-law, her daughter and myself. I haven't seen many magicians over the years; just Siegfried & Roy many years ago in Vegas (overproduced and overblown, in my opinion), David Copperfield twice (one very good show, one surprisingly poor), Murray Sawchuck twice (both times at all-star benefits, and I didn't like him either time), and Penn & Teller two years ago outside Minneapolis (I thought they were by far the best I'd seen). This show was in my hometown so I didn't have to travel, which is pretty much the only reason I went. I thought it was an entertaining enough show. Owenhouse has a good personality and spent much of the evening performing various tricks and illusions with people he randomly plucked out of the audience (and they were random--not plants, as proven by the method he used to recruit people, one using balloons thrown into the audience). The majority of the set pieces struck me as nothing particularly special, and there was one in particular that I felt went on much too long. But Owenhouse's enthusiasm helped make the show an entertaining, if not completely successful, one. There were a few tricks that were really impressive, and those ones (utilizing misdirection on a large scale) really impressed me a lot. I would have liked to have seen more of his twin tigers, one russet, one white, but both sisters. They appeared for one illusion each. The big cats were used in the advertising of the show so I was hoping for more of them because they're such beautiful, exotic animals, but I understand; after the incident that ended Siegfried & Roy's careers, you don't want to overwork your cats. As for my sister-in-law and niece, they both enjoyed the show a great deal, and that's what ultimately matters the most to me. After the show, Jay came out into the lobby of the venue to pose for photos and sign autographs, always a welcome and classy move.

My husband and I went to Jay's show and it was very entertaining. At times it ran a bit slow but Jay is funny besides being an illusionist.
