Amazing! It was a magical night in the Mother Church with the audience on their feet and singing along the entire night.

Chris Stapleton at the Ryman on the heels of his grammy win earlier in the week. Dave Cobb playing guitar on stage in the band, Morgane with her amazing version of You Are My Sunshine, which will appear on Cobb's compilation album, Southern Family, later this year. (I predict also will win a Grammy for 2016.) And John Paul White's feature with Chris and Morgane on his hauntingly beautiful Simple Song....and did I mention this was all at the Ryman? This is likely to go down as my favorite concert ever.

Something must be done to limit scalpers. I was able to get a single ticket to this wonderful even and was forced to pay 10x aftermarket because more than half the even tickets went directly into the re-sale market. The system does not provide the public with the same opportunity as scalpers to obtain tickets (for whatever reason?)

He has such an amazing voice and his music is just incredible. An absolute "must see" kinda guy!

Chris Stapleton put on a phenomenal show. I did not want to leave my seat to get a drink or use the restroom. He was humble and thanked everyone for coming along with acknowledging his crew. Raw. Country. I haven't stopped thinking about the show. The crowd left wanting more.

He puts on a great show and takes you back to the best version of country. His wife is also a great addition to his music! He is a must see.

Hands down one of the BEST shows I've seen in a long long time (and I've seen a lot#. Chris and his wife #and band# are amazing performers. The crowd at the Tabernacle moved them #Chris and his wife) both to tears - such a humble guy it makes his music even more rich. I find it quite an honor to see this artist at such a small venue cause he's going to be playing big arenas after all the awards he has and will receive. If you don't own the album Traveller, it belongs in your life long collection. He sounds even better live and the album is amazing! Thanks for making great music Chris!

We don't write reviews or claim to be music critics. HOWEVER - this musician, this show, this performance - was over the top - extraordinary. The Fillmore is a terrific venue no doubt. We ran out to get tixs for Chris Stapleton after the CMA awards and we had never heard of him. The opening band - forget about it - has nothing in common with Stapleton. And every song C. Stapleton performed moved me emotionally in one way or another. He is so understated and his lovely bride - who can carry the showmanship part of the show with barely a move - are the real deal. They are country music like my dad would listen to - country music like I enjoy - and country music like my teenagers are now listening to. I didn't know Stapleton wrote "Drink a Beer" but I do now.

The show was incredible! Chris Stapleton is so talented. He is a brilliant songwriter and performer. He sounds just as good live and in person as he does on his album. I hope to see him in concert again.

My title to this review says it all...love his songs, and love even more the heart and soul he puts into the performance. My husband and I are new CS fans, having followed Jason Isbell for a few years, if that helps define our taste in music, and we are both back porch musicians, ourselves. We were thrilled by Chris, and feel sure any true music fan will be, too! My favorite song is "Fire Away"...

Chris Stapleton and his lovely wife (and the band of course) have such a wonderful sound! And the National Theater may be one of the last of its kind, but it's a wonderful small venue! By the time you leave, you feel as if you're friends with everyone in the room:)

Chris Stapleton's raw but rich earthy voice carried through the venue well. Enjoyed all of his songs and his guitar playing. His wife sang backup and their voices blended beautifully. Contemporary country blues was the style of this concert, but no bluegrass.

Chris Stapleton put on one of the best country concerts I have seen in 2015. There are no crazy stage antics or commercial gimmicks just an authentic singer/ songwriter working his trade. Stapleton s wife, Morgane, sings backup. She has a lovely voice and they harmonize well together. They played about 1 ½ hours. Sam Lewis opened. He is an impressive start-up artist with an interesting personality and a great voice. His songs and the way he sings them really grab your attention.

By far, one of the best concerts ever. Loved the Variety Playhouse venue. The staff was polite, effecient and made patrons feel sage, while having a great time. The refreshments were provided quickly, tasted great and were reasonably priced. The intimacy of the theater gave fans an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the talent of the musicians in a unique way.

The best live show I have seen, not much more to say. Love the venue, every seat was up close, and the sound was awesome.

Chris Stapleton was great. But, so many in the crowd were such an annoyance that it's beginning to make me not want to go to these events. And I love live music! The two drunk girls taking selfies all through the show in front of me were distracting with their bright cell phones. The two drunk, loud, Beevis and Butthead-like guys , also in front of me, must have climbed over the backs of their seats 20 or more times....really annoying! The super drunk chick off to the right was standing a swaying all night despite all the people behind her that wanted to see the show and kept trying to get her to sit down. This kind of crap is OK in a bar...even in an outdoor venue, but in the Bijou or Tennessee Theater, NO. We pay too much to have evenings ruined by people like this. Before long, I'll just give up and stop coming.

Great show, my wife & i drove 225 miles to see Chris. We were celebrating 28 years married and wanted to see the Bijou Theatre and Chris Stappleton. The sound was great, the theatre was very small, easy to get to, good bar next door( great hamburger). Chris Stappleton has such a great voice and so does his wife. @ $23.00 a ticket this was a great deal and show, We will being going again to the Bijou.

What an awesome time seeing this extraordinary artist in person, will never forget it!

Chris Stapleton is just as great in person as he is on the radio or through digital music, if not better! He came to the Bowery Ballroom and not only were the acoustics in the place excellent but Chris Stapleton really put on an excellent show!!! Highly recommended to anyone who like rock and roll, country, or bluegrass, as he has roots in all three!!!

This is a man who has more talent and soul than a majority of the people that find themselves on the radio today. His band was great, but Chris Stapleton's performance was flawless.

Stapleton had the crowd on their feet from beginning to end of show dancing, and singing along, . Loved that the crowd was a mix of young, early 20's, mid 30/40's, and the best age of course was 50+. His music is enjoyed by all ages!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is my second time seeing Chris in concert and I am in awe once again at the power of this guys soulful voice! Can't get enough of him! Those bluesy notes accompanied by Morgane's vocals is just electric! Gives me the chills but in a good way!

Chris Stapleton has been one of the best artists who I have gone to see. He sounds better than his CDs. This is sometimes out of the ordinary.

His music is soulful and is amazing. This is the second time I've seen him in concert and I will pay to see him again and again.

Stapleton was phenomenal. Sat on the lawn. Would only change two things: 1-line for the bathrooms at the venue were ridiculous even with added "port-a-johns" all over the place. 2-The music was not as loud on the lawn as it usually is. There was a lot of noise from other concert goers. Maybe dial up the sound a bit.

Pros: It is refreshing to see an artist on stage that concentrates on his music! The show would probably be better suited for a small venue since there were no pyrotechnic displays, trapeze aerobatics or vulgar lyrics. To make up for this, Stapleton simply sang and played to a level his contemporaries should study. The man has tremendous range!! A very welcome stage presence was his wife Morgane Stapleton. What a nightingale!! Con: Because we wanted to be as close as possible, we were forced to pay a premium for the "Single Barrel Experience". This did allow us to actually touch some of his personal memorabilia, but even that was a bit pricey.

I must say I enjoy Chris Stapleton's music but I did not have quite the appreciation for his voice that I do now. The man has one heck of a sound and great control of his voice. My husband and I agree...he sounds better live and in person than he does recorded and we do not know of anyone else we have seem perform that we can say the same about. I love that cool, funky, blue-sy music that he and his band put forth and I can't get enough of it. Only thing I wish I could've changed would be a more personal venue and a more time to enjoy the experience...a small dive bar and hours and hours to enjoy the sound...

The music was great. The concert was a lot of fun. Chris Stapleton is a wonderful musician. He is not an entertainer. If you were looking for a concert with all the bells and whistles, this is not the one for you. But if you like Stapleton and His music you'll enjoy the set list. He needs to hire a better production crew. The lighting was absolutely terrible. Video was also bad. I get that he is a country star. I get that he wears a cowboy hat. I get that the Face gets shade when you wear a cowboy hat. But that is the responsibility of lighting and production to figure out how the audience gets to see the artist performing. All of the video on the big screen of Chris Stapleton singing was of a hat and a heavily darkened face. Chris, your fans want to see you saying and see how you relate to the music. A shaded screen is a failure.

Chris Stapleton is a MUST SEE in concert! If you have not been to one of his concerts, you are missing out!

Chris and his wife along with the two band members totally out did themselves! I have seen at least 30+ concerts and this one was by far the BEST EVER! Would love to see all his shows! Money was well spent!!

If you listen to his album, you get that and more at his show! His wife is just as talented as he is. With only 4 people on stage it feels like a private show yet the sound is full that makes it seem like there is more! Highly recommended!!

The Stapleton concert was awesome. The venue was awesome and I would gladly attend another concert at this place. Really liked the atmosphere, the prices, the food and drinks, and the service. Was really please with the fast pace of entering the event without having to stand in line for ever.

There comes a time where it is all about the music and this was it. Simple stage that showcased the artist and his band. It was wonderful! Chris was a humble and appreciative of his fans taking the time to come to his concert. His opening band, Anderson East, was amazing too! Money well spent. Time well spent. Can't wait to see them again.

Chris Stapleton, along with his wife, Morganne are two of the most talented musicians/singers in any genre. Country roots that permeate every song. No one can duplicate Chris's voice; and his and Morganne's harmony make for an unforgettable night of entertainment. You will not want it to end.

He sounds equally as good live as on his album! Amazing talent!! Best part was when the crowd lit up their phones for Fire Away!!

Great sold out show. I can't remember the last time an artist sold out the entire coliseum. Chris has a beautiful raspy voice that reminds you of what country music used to be. I look forward to seeing him in concert again someday.

We had seen him at Merriweather Post earlier this year and I knew my wife was moved by his show, so I gave up my Redskins/Ravens tickets to treat her to this special evening with Chris and his wife. Acoustics were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Will travel to see him anywhere...

This concert was one of the best I have seen. He came on stage at 9:25 pm and played streight threw till after 11:00. He is an amazing guitarist, and an incredible vocalist. You will not be disappointed!

I have seen Chris Stapleton 4 times now, and he gets better and better every time. Loved the set, he really rocked it out! The long guitar rifts showcased his abilities, and his powerful voice can not be matched. Wished Morgan would have been out there the whole time, her voice is the only one that can compare to his. His is simply Amazing! His shows will never disappoint!

This show was great!!! He came out in the HOTT Mississippi heat and played for a little over 2 hours while sweating down!!!! But still gave all the fans exactly what they came to see!!! Prob the first artist I have seen live that sounds exactly like the cd!!!!!

Chris was great, although missing his wife and kids. I saw him at Snowden Grove in Southaven, MS with Morgane in 2016 and I believe this performance was not quite as good! Just missed her harmonies! Mary Stuart was GREAT....rock & roll and country had the place jumping! Brent Cobb was kinda mellow and sweet...

The venue was good but getting in took forever and it was very windy on the hill. Chris put on a great show...how could he not!

Chris Stapleton was absolutely worth anything. We rated as our best concert ever! Experience I won t forget and neither will my husband. Only negative was in the vip barrel experience we couldn t get any help on where to go and when. We felt a little lost, but show made up for it. Fun to see Marty Stewart.

Great show wish the seats were cheaper but it is what it is more of a variety of food wood be nice and $8 for a bottle of water I think it's a little ridiculous just make the whole damn thing a little more affordable for people

What a night for country classic and country soul to collide! Stewart and Stapleton took us on a ride of the past classics and ending the journey with his own legacy of new and soon to be timeless classics.

Chris is one that will be revered along the lines of the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Hank Williams, George Strait, and other of the world's foremost musical talents.

Guitar music was awesome! He also plays the blues and he and his wife are beautiful together.

The concert was great! My complaint is with venue. This was a sold out event and the venue was not prepared for it in my opinion. Ac wasnt working, ran out of beer, water, not enough restrooms. Also the projection screens were off the sides of stage, would have been better in top center of venue.

What an amazing performance by one of the most talented artist to ever set foot on a stage. His voice, and lyrics stand alone like no other. There are many great artist, singers, songwriters out there...but Stapleton is the package...and his future is very bright! He is Garth Brooks level...

First time we saw Chris Stapleton was at Jiffy Lube Live he was so amazing we wanted to see him again and so the next day we purchased tickets to the Giant Center and once again we were blown away by his performance and great songs! He played a couple of his yet to be released songs and they were pretty good so we are looking forward to his next CD release. A genuine good ole boy!

While it's true that Chris Stapleton has only two albums out under his own name, he's spent years in the background as a songwriter for many big names in country music; it's only just recently that he's started headlining shows on his own, after leaving his bluegrass outfit The Steeldrivers. I found Chris' music almost by accident; his "Traveller" cd was played over the PA at a concert of another artist that I attended last year, and I was impressed. I had heard his name through word of mouth, but not any music until then. I decided to go check out this concert in Duluth, MN, on the strength of the "Traveller" album--I hadn't heard his newest yet, preferring to first experience whatever new material he had in person. Chris turned out to be a rather singular performer; he seems shy, and hides his face under a cowboy hat and a thick beard, obviously more comfortable letting his songs speak for him most of the time. He did talk to the audience, just not very much--and that was fine, because the music was stellar from beginning to end. Opening with "Might As Well Get Stoned", Chris and his three-piece band ran through a two-hour set that did not feature even one weak song. I could hear various influences in Chris' songwriting, vocals and guitar playing: Steve Earle, John Hiatt, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Townes Van Zandt, John Prine, Waylon Jennings, Rodney Crowell, etc. The influences did not overwhelm the music; this was not a case of an artist cribbing another's style--Chris managed to evoke these legends and yet has his own, powerful voice, a real gift for any true musician. "Might As Well Get Stoned", for instance, sounds like something Lynyrd Skynyrd may have written--it has a great guitar hook, and a deceptively simple title--it reads like a frat-boy anthem, yet the lyrics evoke the cost of war ("...another soldier dies/another brother's gone/another mother cries"). I appreciate songwriting with a purpose, especially in these American Idol-autotuned times we live in. The presentation of the show was unique as well, with Chris and his band perched in front of a half-bowl shaped lighting rig/backdrop that looked like a UFO at times. Stapleton is the real deal, and I hope he continues on the path he has chosen, writing songs that matter for people who care. He's the anti-Billy Ray Cyrus, and for that alone, he has my respect.

I'm not typically a reviewer but the entire experience that was this concert was amazing. Brent Cobb and Margo Price were perfect openers. But Stapleton, of course, is in a league of his own. Despite being in an arena, he somehow makes you feel like you've been invited to watch a jam session with him, his wife, and a couple of buddies. No theatrics or extras are needed when you're that talented and the music is that good. If you're a huge Stapleton fan I also highly recommend splurging on the 'Single Barrel' VIP experience. It was worth every penny. It was handled extremely well and the early entry to the pit was priceless. That alone allowed us to get as close as you possibly could - front row center! Which, in my opinion, was the best way to truly experience this show.

One of the best concerts I have ever seen. Pure talent!!! I'd go see him again in a heartbeat. Such a talented man, and with his wife by his side singing with him, even better.

I've been to 100's of concerts in my 43 yrs of life and Chris Stapleton broke into my top 5...Him and Morgane kicked ass!! I highly recommend this concert and I can't wait to see them again!

This was really a great concert. I would go again tomorrow. What a great singer. Didn't realize he was such an awesome guitar player. Marty Stuart opened for him. His performance was really good as well. Loved it! The concert was held at Sunlight Supply Amphitheater in Ridgefield WA. The venue was good, but getting into it was a bit of a nightmare. It took us one hour from the exit to our parking spot (about a mile in distance) luckily we paid for premier parking and exiting was easy.

I would recommend Chris Stapleton to anyone. Concert was awesome. Ridgefield parking is a mess 2 + hours to get out of parking lot.

Chris Stapleton was incredible!! I just wish he had chosen another venue. Over 1.5 hours to get into the parking lot made us miss our early entry pit access. It took 2 hours to leave the parking lot/parking spot : ( The lines we too long to get a beer it s just a horribly ran venue in general and I won t return. Chris Stapleton was sooooo soooo good!! I will try to see him again at another location. We were next to two fights that broke out in the pit as well which was scary.

Chris had a truly excellent VIP experience. From the private VIP lounge to the quality seats. I will definitely see him the next time he comes to town!

Great concert with all your favorite songs! He could ve engaged with the crowd more but that s just not his style. We did the VIP experience and that was awesome, but we had a lot of friends sit in the lawn and they had a very difficult time hearing the music at all.

The music was great but it felt more like listening to an album than a live show. The lawn seats had poor sound and it was turned down really low. I love Chris Stapleton but probably wouldn t see him live again unless we got close enough seats.

Overall, it was incredibly hard to hear. Whether it was the people around talking most of the time or Chri s mic never seemed to be up loud of enough. What we could it hesrvthough, was amazing.
