BEST comedian I've seen in Duluth. The Minnesota Native knows how to make the crowd laugh. Hes a legend.

Expected a lot more from Nick. He seemed either hung-over, or uninterested. Not on his game. Plus, it started late, and Nick only worked the stage for 30 minutes! Totally bummed!

Hilarious! Pat Keane opened up and he was damned funny too! Only thing is they didn't allow pictures or video.

Pretty good show, just the right amount of time. The guy that opened was alright too.

Swardson delivered a great performance. Saw him last year and the show was ruined by hecklers... Ushers actually kicked them out this time and made it so much more enjoyable.

From start to finish, the show was great! I had paid twice as much the week prior to see Daniel Tosh and he barely left an impression on me but Nick performed like a rockstar. Must see!!!

Verrrry funny show. First time seeing his standup and hopefully not the last. The only thing negative were the drunks in the audience constantly blurting things out. Nick did a great job at keeping control and making his jokes.

Swardson is the man! He exceeded expectations by doing both new material as well as older classics. Would recommend anyone seeing him live. Actually it's almost a MUST!

Opening act went on promptly at 7. I forget his name but his set had a couple laughs but nothing special though. Nick Swardson went on around 720 and did a 40 minute set. It was hilarious touching on topics like girls drinking, text messages, and a couple of old skits revisited. He said he was sick and it may be the reason the set seemed rushed but chances are he didn't cancel the show because the last NY show in 2012 was canceled due to shooting Pretend Time or promo for it. All in all, I had a great time and would go see him again.

Been a huge fan of Swardson in everything he's been in from Reno to Grandmas Boys to Benchwarmers. His stand up is so great and he knows his fan base to a T. He was feeling a bit under the weather at this performance I think he still did great,. Only two downsides were that he repeated some old material and it was on the shorter side. I'll let the second part slide because he was sick and I love him.

He was hilarious! Did all new material (aside from a few things that were specifically requested by the audience). He did about an hour set. Very funny! Would absolutely see him again!

Nick delivered despite his not feeling well (he admitted to being sick) I laughed the entire time, with tears rolling down my cheeks!

I guess Nick was under the weather so we got as much as he could give. What I like most about him is that he can tell a story and evoke a tenderness, insanity, joy, love and a belly laugh with a down to earth off the wall delivery. Miss his tv show -

I see about 50 stand up shows a year in several states, LA, Portland, Salt lake, Seattle, this was the best show I have seen! Nick brought it! He will be around doing dates in 2013-2014, well worth any effort to be in attendance

It was okay. It was raining, checked umbrellas and hard to find at end. Act was okay. I had to pay and UCF students didnt. Very short performance for 40 bucks. The end.

My hubby and I went to the show for our anniversary. We had the best date we've ever had and I would do it again and pay more if i had to!!

I saw Nick Swardson about a year ago, in SF, and he was amazing. I laughed my ass off the entire night, and got food and drinks all over myself. I will see him again next time he is in town as well. FOR SURE!

Hilarious. On stage for about 45-50 minutes, wish it was longer. Such a great show.

Nick was great as always. Kept us laughing and made me want to go home and listen to every stand up album I have. While, I freqent live music, This was my first big time comedy show and I was certainly not disappointed. I wish I could have used digital tickets as opposed to having to print physical one and there was no leg room in the seats. Other than that, completely happy with our experience.

Seeing Nick Swardson was everything I wanted and more the only thing that would've made it better would've been a meet and greet. Phenomenal seats for about 60$ a piece and we were only a little over 10 rows back from the stage !

Venue wasn't the best. It was beautiful but old, had a bad smell to it. But the comedy made it worth going to. Nick was very interactive with the crowd and he was hilarious

I had never seen Nick live, but enjoyed his previous stand up specials and film work he has done. I had my doubts after the opening act, as he was pretty rough and kind of sucked the energy out of the room. The opener went straight to Nick and the energy in the building changed instantly. Nick came out and I can honestly say we were laughing from beginning to end. He brought out some new material, made some local jokes and tossed in some old stuff. Was a great show and although the crowd was annoying, Nick handled it well and responded humorously to the random yells and hecklers throughout the night. Very Glad we went. I do wish we would have just purchased standard seats, as opposed to VIP "Meet and greet" tickets. I always thought Nick would be cool to hang out with/talk with for a bit, so I went with the VIP tickets hoping to carry on a brief conversation if anything..Essentially they line you up and put you in a room with a back drop in groups of two and the camera man tries to hurry you through to take a picture. Nick was very nice and took goofy pictures, all while giving the vibe that he wanted to chat....but due to the camera man/security being pushy, they just rush you out and that's it. As soon as you check in for your VIP experience, you are instantly told he wont be signing anything BUT for an extra fee you can get a pre-signed poster. All in all the VIP ticket was not worth the extra money, as there is really nothing "VIP" about it, other than a 30 second photo and a lanyard. I would not purchase that option again and would not advise anyone else to either.

Another great show by Nick Swardson! Seriously, he s so funny. I always look forward to seeing him and he never disappoints. His sense of humor can t be beat and he s so creative! Great material all around, and his opening act by Justin Smith was excellent as well. I d see him every week if I could.

If you're a fan of Swardson's movies and tv shows, you have to see his live stand up. The show is hilarious and your face will hurt from laughing so hard. Plus his opener was great too. This is my third time seeing him live and it gets better each time.

Nick Swardson and his opener, Josh Smith, were both great. No lulls and a lot of great stories/jokes. Venue was well set up and got everybody in and out of the hall efficiently. Drink service at the seat was a plus, but difficult to get cashed out in the rush at the end of the show. I'll be back for more shows in the future

One opener, who was also great. Nick Swardson is often not realized as the talented comedian he truely is, being more known for his roles in movies and TV, but he is hands-down one of the best stand up comedians I've ever seen live (and I go to A LOT of stand up shows and have seen almost everyone notable and then some) and would highly recommend that any lover of comedy make it a point to go out and see him if you get the chance.

Very spacious event center. Service at the bar(s) was good and served in a timely manner. Would definitely go back to see another show.

Great night out, especially for my dads birthday. Hampton casino ballroom always a perfect small venue for great views for any seat. Not knowing anything about Nick Swardson, really had many laughs with his show. Would definitely go again.

I ve been a fan since I saw Swardson on his first Comedy Central special. This is my third show at Foxwoods and he s still just as good as the first show. Need him up here more often is my only complaint.

Nick is hilarious and we had an absolute blast. His opener was a little weak and I had some co-workers that went (separately) to the show who told me they thought the opening act was weak as well.

Best way to describe the show. I felt like I was sitting in his living room hearing him tell amazing stories.

That was one of the funniest shows I have seen in a long time. I recommend him to anyone that loves a hard laugh.

Every one in the theater was laughing not one thing that came out of this guy\u2018s mouth wasn t funny. What I liked was also he hit on just about everything we do or happens to us but he never got in the politics which I thought was refreshing. Supertalented and would see him again. . Appears all the women were laughing as well including my girlfriend...

I was a little skeptical, because I had seen Mike Birbiglia the night before, and I don't remember laughing so little at any stand-up event I've been too. Fortunately, Nick swardson's routine was funny enough for the entire weekend. Great opener, and fantastic headliner! Definitely don't miss the chance to check him out.

Nick was hilarious as usual. This is my third time seeing him and he never disappoints. I was cracking up the whole time and my friend was literally crying she was laughing so hard. And the venue was great! Not too big so every seat was perfect. I hope he comes back again soon.

Show started 1/2hr late and the opener was on for about 10 minutes, not very funny. Nick came out said he was hung over. Took his notes out after about 20 minutes. A couple times he looked like he was going to throw up. Twice went to the side and asked if they had oxygen back there. Stopped at 9:30 so he was on for about 40 - 45 Minutes. He was funny but when he would stop in his act to not throw up people would be yelling from the audience things like, take another drink, you need water. It was just uncomfortable. Seen his stand up acts in the past and he was funnier, maybe its time for rehab.

He was hungover and not funny. I was surprised because Ian a fan. It just seamed like he didn't want to be there.

We went up to Tahoe to make a day of it. We had this preconception that he would do a long set. Not like a crazy long set, more like a normal, say... 1 hour set. Instead he was up for like maybe 30 minutes and then bounced. He was the headliner. I have seen him in the past and he has killed it. He was way more into entertaining and had a longer set. Here he seemed to have a "I just want to get this over with" vibe. Right when he got on stage he said he was too hungover. I get it... but still. I love the dude, he is hilarious... but we planned this weekended and were really excited for it but he basically gave minimal effort. He did the time he needed to in order to get paid and dipped. It was disappointing.

Swardson is one of my favorite comedians - always has been. I was disappointed with the show. The 8pm curtain was 8:45pm. Nick admitted he was extremely hungover, asked for oxygen, and only got through 40 minutes of his set. He was (and always is) funny during the 40 minutes - but I was left feeling disappointed.

Including the opening act which was about 10 minutes, the whole show was 70 minutes. Love his old material but there's Very little that was really good with this show.

He was hung over so he was only on stage maybe 40 min.

Basically, both Swardson, and the opening comedian, were hilarious. But he was only on stage for 30 minutes, hence not a full five stars. The reason I'm not giving him two stars is because after his show, at the bar, I got to watch him puke on himself - twice. Would've gotten four stars if I could've snapped a photo with him while he was still covered in spew, but that's my fault for not trying, however I stand by my rating.

I really like Nick Swardson. He is hilarious! BUT...the night I saw him in South Lake Tahoe at Montbleu was disappointing. He was super sick from a terrible hangover and cut the show short after 40 minutes total, and thats being generous!! Not really worth my money or time!

First of all, the show started 40 minutes late. Then the warm-up comedian came out and he was just ok. When Nick finally came on stage he told the audience he was hungover...and it showed. His skit was sort of funny but there was nothing special about it. He kept asking the stagehands for oxygen. He frequently had to check his notes because he couldn't remember his jokes. After a while he began to resort to toilet humor, which can be a little funny but certainly not 20 minutes of it. Throughout the skit he kept talking about how terrible he felt from drinking the night before. He continued to drink onstage and invited the entire audience to the Opal Lounge after the show to drink with him. When he gave his final joke I thought he was kidding. He was onstage less than 45 minutes, about the same amount of time we waited before the show started. I'm certainly glad I didn't spend more money for the really good seats. That would have really pissed me off!

I get it, his schtick is that he's a party guy. I think he's hilarious, that's why I bought tickets 5 months in advance and stayed at the underwhelming Montbleu hotel for 2 nights. First thing he says when he gets on stage is that he is hungover. Ok. That's fine. 35 minutes later he's done. Sold out house, 10 minute opening act. Just hoped it was going to be better. It wasn't.

The venue was horrible...the Montbleu event room had ackward seating with too many obstructed view seats. Nick Swarsdon was tired and his jokes were mildly, entertaining.

He was funny but so hungover the show was short and at a slow pace.
