I had such a wonderful time at this concert! Even though I was in the balcony, I was blown away by the amount of talent that Shawn has. He sang songs from his new album and it made so much more excited for the album that came out yesterday (which is also just as awesome, buy Handwritten on iTunes). I can't wait for the next concert and hopefully I'll get to meet him again too! :)

My girls, their friends and myself LOVED the concert! Shawn and Jacquie Lee were amazing. My only issue was that the tickets were general admission so you didn't have assigned "seats". We stood in line for 3 1/2 hours before the doors opened (7pm) so we could get a decent "seat". Also, if you wanted to be downstairs, there wasn't anywhere to sit and you had to stand the whole concert and when you have young girls standing next adults, it is hard for them to over the adults. My only other issue was that the concert didn't start until 8pm on a Sunday. It would have helped if it started at 7pm.

Shawn did amazing and would go back and watch it over and over again.

The concert was great but the seating and standing areas were crowded. Overall it was a great experience, but at the same time I would have liked to see Shawn better.

The concert was great the meet and greet was very disorganized we got in line at 3pm and at 6 pm we still hadn't done the meet and greet by the time the concert started we were wore out from standing .

I had never heard of Shawn Mendes until about 4 months ago. My daughter told me she wanted to go to his concert in Nashville. I was amazed by his incredible voice. His songs were not offensive, like most artists today. I think he will become a big star. I hope he stays humble and level-headed as his fandom grows. I can see he could be a future Ed Sheeran or even better if he doesn't let his label control his songwriting. I think I have some hearing loss from all the screaming girls, especially my daughter. She wants to marry him now!

Shawn Mendes put on a terrific performance! He seems like such a nice kid and was very good to his fans. I am sure he will go far in life!

i was lucky enough to have the chance of seeing Shawn's fame grow along with his voice develop. I followed him on vine when he had about like 10k. This is so crazy that a boy from a social media site could be making it big now. I am so lucky that i got to see his fame grow. he has so much talent whether it is in his lyrics or his vocals, he is an overall great artist and i would recommend his music to anyone in a heart beat. my best wishes to Shawn and his career, and i hope everyone enjoys his music as much as i do.

This is my daughter's first concert we had no clue Charlie Puth was opening so when he opened my daughter freaked out loving it that she got to see both her idols in one night before her first concert she loved it

This concert was absolutely amazing, from the intro of Charlie Puth who was great and to the main concert of Shawn. The lights and sound were great. loved every minute of it just wish we could have been able to afford meet and greet tickets. Would have loved to meet him. Hopefully get to another of his concerts soon!

This is the second time I've seen Shawn in concert with my teenage daughter. He puts on an amazing show.

I have been a fan of Shawn for about 2 1/2 years now, and this was my first time seeing him live. It was absolutely phenomenal. His voice sounded almost exactly the same as it does on the radio and in his recorded music. I highly recommend seeing him live to anyone, because it was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Although I was sitting kind of far the sound quality was good and the view was amazing. Him only was perfect. I do recommend making the screens in the side a little bigger for the people all away in the back could see better but all in all it was the best experience ever and I can't wait to see Shawn again and maybe this time I'll get VIP!!

Shawn was engaged with the audience the whole time. He never seemed tired and the concert didn't drag on. He had an amazing opener and Ed Sheeran performed too as a surprise. How freakin awesome. Wish I could relive that night over and over again

let me start this off by saying that ticketmaster somehow blessed me with row two tickets for face value and i have no idea what i did to deserve them. charlie's set was amazing and he was so interactive with the crowd. this was my ninth time seeing shawn in concert and it is one that i will remember forever. each and every time i am simply awestruck at the level of hard work that shawn and his team put into the set, from the background visuals to interacting with the crowd. apart from being close to main stage, j somehow managed to snag a decent spot near the front of b stage. although it was a hot and sweaty mess with people cursing me out in foreign languages, the intimacy that fans share with shawn there makes up for it 100%. the security guard at front row was also incredibly nice, he gave me the set list at the end of the show and i will be forever grateful for him.

Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth killed it. It was visually pleasing with all the lights they added to the show. And they're both so talented. I really enjoyed the show.

okay so i'm all about a good concert but this was the first show where i felt like if i didn't buy tickets I would regret it & I'm really glad that i bought tickets. This tour wasn't stopping anywhere in North or South Carolina which meant I would have to travel to get to this show. I decided on Brooklyn solely because I had the opportunity to purchase a vip package & every other show was all sold out of the packages. I flew to New York & this show was honestly the best show I've ever been to in my life. I've never witnessed an artist with his level of talent/passion at his age. Charlie Puth was an amazing opener, but Shawn Mendes went above & beyond. I've been to too many concerts to count but this show is my number one. Best experience of my life & he deserves everything that's good in the world. He was so kind at the meet & greet & so genuine. If you haven't been to one of his concerts, you need to find a way to go. You'll regret it if you don't. 10/10

It was evident from the start of the show, SM was having the time of his life. The set was stripped. No moving parts or extremely special effects. I have seen much bigger productions and have not been so entertained as I have at SM's first concert tour. Although it wAs hard to hear him over the teanie bopper crowd, he voice was on point and sounded better than recordings. It leads me to think that this artist will only get better with time. Like one of many parents taking their daughter to see this young star, I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this concert. He is a talent that I look to follow for years to come.

Bought these tickets for my daughter. This was the second of our Summer Concert Series/Girls Getaway. Because all the "great" seats were already gone, I chose to purchase the additional "passport" experience, and was pleasantly surprised with some wonderful "extras". We were sent passports and the "Illuminate" CD, so I was able to learn some Shawn Mendes songs prior to the concert. Charlie Puth opened, and I was quite surprised to find myself crying while he belted out "See You Again". Hearing it live was quite emotional, I guess. When Shawn Mendes took the stage, he opened with "There's Nothing Holding Me Back", and the entire stadium erupted in screams, including me, although, my daughter was louder! We enjoyed having Shawn treat us to the moon, and talking about how it gets colder in MN than it does "back home". Wonderful concert, and this guy really seems to love his fans!

The concert was overall amazing! Shawn's vocals sound so amazing live, it's ridiculous! If you are a big fan of his music, I would definitely suggest going.He asks us to sing along, scream along, etc. and it's such a surreal experience when you're actually seeing and listening to your favorite singer in person because they are literally so close to you. When he moved to B Stage, everyone wanted to see him there so a lot of people moved to the stage so that they could see him better. The experience will always be memorable to me because I got to meet so many of my internet friends at the concert and they were all just so sweet and amazing! Plus, the crowd manager, Tex, that led us to the Q&A at the Centurylink Center was extremely helpful and was a good person to talk to. We (Silver VIP) started our Q&A with him before Shawn. Overall, I would definitely suggest the Illuminate World Tour to anyone who actually listens to his music because he does sing songs that aren't popular or on the radio. There was a lot of people who had floor seats that only sang along to his more popular songs. Other than that, it was an unforgettable experience that I would definitely relive as many times as possible if I could.

The concert was okay. I love Shawn Mendes and his voice is AMAZING! But I feel like smaller venues for him would be better since he's only on stage singing and playing his guitar, which isn't bad but the whole time I was just wanting more.

Absolutely the most amazing concert I have ever been to. He knows how to hype up the crowd while still showing off his spectacular voice. Songs are all completely live.

Both performers were good, however Charlie only performed 6-7 songs. I was disappointed because I really appreciate his musicianship. It felt like he had just come on stage, and he was getting off. Didn't even hear some of MY favorite songs from his current album. I would have rather heard Shawn sing, than the crowd. There was a little too much of "having the audience sing", especially since the person behind us couldn't carry a tune and was screeching the words. Lol

I took my niece and we both really enjoyed ourselves! They were fantastic!!

Show started on time, crowd was nice the show was great, entertaining and overall sweet.

This concert was my daughter's Sweet 16 present. I was lucky enough to go with her. I was happy to see Shawn Mendes not go overboard with the effects. I liked when it was just him and his guitar. When the lights did flash though, it helped build the excitement, it wasn't overkill. He was great at getting the crowd going and interacting with them. We had a blast!

I was blown away. Shawn Mendes live performance sounds exactly like when I am listening to his recordings on the radio or on my iPhone. It was a clean show for all ages, and he played the guitar and piano, his band is legit. Don't hesitate to go if you have a chance.

5th time seeing a KING live. Love u shawn & will never stop, and I got a ticket upgrade to section 101 from 114 which ended up getting me closer

According to my daughters 8 & 10 it's the best concert ever! Best experience, great vibe, the energy was amazing! They changed our seats at the last moment and we ended up in a first row lateral seat that were incredible! At one point Shawn changed stage and we had him right in front of us. My girls went nuts! Later he went in the audience and ended up in front of us!!! No words to explain this moment!!! Thank god got it on video!
