Amazing!! Kenny G was just "Breathless"!!! Music was awesome and all the best was performed by him, he didn't miss anything!! His band was sooo good, especially the percussionist who did his own amazing segment. Kenny came out and played with George Benson on one song which was spectacular! Wish they did it more! He autographed his CD in lobby during intermission and at the end! George Benson was stellar! He didn't miss a beat with his classics and still has that amazing voice. His duet with his newest band member was sooo good! Best evening of smooth jazz ever! On a side note for the Chicago Theatre, the lighting was really bad. They need to make sure that whatever lighting is set up works for the audience. We had to move our seating 3 times to try and ease the tension on our eyes from having spotlights in them all night. It was worse during George's set, however, it did not deter us from enjoying and staying till the end!

I loved the interview held with George Benson. He was very comfortable and down to earth. He shared many of the memorable experiences he has had on his way to becoming who he is today. I was not that familiar with Mr. Benson before this event. I came because a friend wanted to see him. It turned out to be one of the best events I have attended this past year. His performance that night, as a musician was phenomenal! I have been listening to the CD we were given that night. I am hooked!

For those who haven't been to the Grammy Museum theater, you are missing one of the great music experiences anywhere. Where else can you hear a great musician like George Benson interviewed by a fellow music expert for 45 minutes and then hear him play live, with full band, all in small (200 seat) comfortable venue with world class sound? Absolutely awesome. Talk about up close and personal!!

This was our first time to the GRAMMY Museum and it was fablous, so much more than I ever expected. I loved the intimate atmosphere of the small venue which showcased the Amazing George Benson. We were treated to a new Host and forgive me I can not remember his name, however, he was great. George talked about his life and how he came to where he is today. I was stunned to find out that it all began at the age of 7. Even more impressed by the story of his father building him a guitar that he carried around in a shopping bag. If you have not experienced the GRAMMY Museum, please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this wonderful experience. American Express you did a wonderful job on this event. I must say that when it was all done and over.....as we exited the museum I told my husband "I can not beleive how great the show was and how wonderful I feel having experienced it" George just made you feel awesome!!! You may think this woman is a nut!!! But it was truly a wonderful event that I wish I could have shared with everyone I Know. Thank you again American Express, GRAMMY Museum & Mr. George Benson.

How can you go wrong when you see George Benson, especially in such a great venue as the SoundStage at the Grammy Museum. With 200 people capacity, it was like he was playing a private party for you. George was a great story teller and loved the music. It was a wonderful event.

George Benson still has the magic fingers--even making his guitar sound like the bagpipes. His voice has gone a bit raspy, but his showmanship is at the level it was when I saw him perform 20 years ago. The band he had with him was exceptional. The only disappointment was that he did not play "20-20". Overall I think the crowd left happy.

Very expensive ticket price. Very good show, although did not like the comment made by George that the people sitting on the canal accross the road, should have been charged a ticket price. I thought it was pompous based on the cost of his ticket. Babyface could have been the headliner! Fantastic.

This was an awsome concert. It was electric and full of energy. It was coupled with a friendly and enviting atmosphere. I loved it and I would pay a full check to see Ledisi perform anywhere again. I'm young and George Benson suprised me tramedously. He made you leap out of your seat. Babyface was smooth and ever so graceful. The entire concert was the best I've seen this year. I recommend this to all and I encourage you to see Ledisi whenever she comes to town. You will be disppointed.

Picked up my tickets at Will Call with no problems and they escorted me to my Floor seats. George Benson is a Legend! Great Show! Mr. Benson and his musicians are so talented! He's still got it going on and then some! At his age, this man still has his VOCALS!, guitar, style, etc. We had a great time! Con's: I had floor seats and I didn't like the seats (they used folding chairs) at the Golden Nugget. They were too small/narrow. Just tacky for Floor seats!

Everything was great. The facilities, location, weather, everything was great. Except: George. If you have ever heard a George Benson Album or CD you know that George has a "sound" that is his very own. His voice and his guitar. The George I saw and heard on stage downgraded or stained a lifetime of success. I sat hoping to anything that sounded like George: and I must admit his natural talent was present for a few beats and a couple songs. But it wasn't the person I know and love. George you are one of the greatest, but preforming on stage has past. Write songs, cameo on others songs, teach your craft to others.

Benson did most of his signature songs but the man has such a huge body of work that he could do two concerts and still not cover all of his work. The only disappointing thing about the concert is that Benson didn't sing one of my all time favorites "This Masquerade". Other than that the show was terrific.

His unique voice and sound are still fresh along with the incredible female backup vocalist who sounded like a young Gloria Estefan and his tight band were keeping his sound alive. George Benson is such a seasoned performer he knew exactly how to keep the audience connected while he was performing Turn Your Love Around, Give Me the Night, On Broadway, etc. It was definitely a bucket list evening for us. Just had a fantastic night at the Horseshoe Casino Venue watching George Benson. His guitar work and vocals are as good as ever, with a superb back up band who all seemed experts on their particular instruments. The venue itself was very good and any seat would have gave you a great view of the show, I had a platinum seat which was right at the front giving an uninterrupted view of the whole performance. George went through a good selection of his top hits over the 90+ mins of the show.

Listened to GB for many years now and have seen DVDs of his concerts. This was my first time seeing him. He put on a very good show. For his age he still has what it takes to put on a very good performance. The show itself was approx. 90 minutes. He played almost song after song without any time to pause with the exception for a few times he spoke to the audience. It would have been nicer he spoke a little more to the audience. It almost felt as if the show was rushed. Don't get me wrong. It was good and we got our money's worth but wished he would have addressed the audience a little more with same amount of songs. The venue was great.

GB's ALWAYS been one of my favorite shows to go to and his music always had been one if my favorites. At 72, he can still play that guitar! His talent is iconic around the world because you can see the love, exceedingly great style, his sound, both in his vocals~singing and scatting. Whether he does love ballads, blues, jazz, he still amazes me. And he's easy on the eyes, too. Love him! He's an inspiration! And I loved his band, so talented.

Great Concert from an all time classic.BB KING blues club gave it the special atmosphere to enjoy George Benson. Some of his songs were a challenge for his voice , but he really did well. His guitar play is timeless. We loved his band especially the drums with a unforgettable solo. Special complimens for the the female percussionist who also did the background vocals, she is really gifted with talent.

For a 71 year old man, George Benson still has it going on. He performed his hits and seemed to really enjoy being in there. Chris Botti is awesome. Loved it when he and his singer walked through the crowd while performing. I'd see him again. Being only a few rows from the stage sure did help. The ushers did a very good job escorting and directing guests to their seats. Very friendly place.

The George Benson Concert was a great ending to a tiring work week. I wanted him to "give me the night" and he did!!! There was no "Masquerade" in his performance; it was the REAL thing! As the man said, "I can play this here guitar." I savored every moment. A storm couldn't have kept me from this show! :)

I loved George Benson's personality and both the tribute and his own music. One of the greatest concerts I have ever experienced :) It would be great if the Bowl offered a concert to present just his own music. The combination with Dianne Reeves worked extremely well. Probably a concert with 1/3 Dianne Reeves and 2/3 George Benson would be the best of all worlds for my taste.

George played at my club in Lahaina, Maui in 1980. I admired his considerable musical abilities before that and all these years since. This concert reinforced that admiration. My only adverse comment would be that his backup group, while excellent, were, at times, too loud and stepped on his playing/singing. I may be prejudiced on that issue since, when he did play at my club, his only backup was Lonnie Smith, and it was a very small night club, an intimate setting, in contrast to the 800+ seats at the MontBleu showroom. That aside, George is a rare talent. I do hope he comes back to Lake Tahoe.

Absolutely fantastic performance! He is as good now as he's ever been A true professional and master at his craft. His band is perfection as well. No way he's 75 years old. An experience I'll never forget.

This was my first time seeing George Benson. The drive from Charlotte to Atlanta was worth every mile. I would do it again in a heart beat.

Sunset Jazz Festival held at Chastain park Saturday August 19, 2017 was one of the best jazz festivals I have ever been too. Great enthusiastic crowd, wonderful performances and lovely weather. looking forward to next year!

This was the first time that we saw Kenny G and he was very entertaining. He started his set in the audience and people got some great pictures and had an opportunity to interact with him. We see George every time he comes to town and he was fantastic as always.

I took my mother and sister to see a great show in honor of Mother's Day, and we all enjoyed it immensely! We have been in love with Mr. Benson since the early 1970's! He was my late dad's favorite! Kenny G is awesome too!
