Million Dollar Quartet (Las Vegas)

The actors were great. The script was so real that it made you feel that you were actually there in Sam Phillips studio. This is a must see show!!!! I would recommend this show to everyone and I want to see it again!!!!!

The show was full with over 50 people! just like us, the music took us back in time to classics we grew up with. All performers were fantastic, they all do their character and voices very well, and the music was at a good volume, not like most shows nowadays. We loved it and were sad when it ended. The pictures they took of us at the entrance were a good souvenir a little price though. Overall it was a very enjoyable night.

The storyline for this show is a history of some of the greatest names in early rock and roll. The performers make you believe that they really are Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis!

Million Dollar quartet was absolutely amazing!! I have been in theatre my whole life and saw countless shows and this was defintly top three! The actors were so into character. I would give a golden globe to Austin Cook he played Jerry Lee Lewis impeccable well! You really felt like you were there with the inventors of Rock and Roll! Amazing!

Since I don't live in NYC, I love attending the Broadway shows at the Orpheum. I have very ecclectic tast in music, so I figured I would enjoy the music. I expected to LIKE the show and was VERY suprised to find that I **LOVED** it. The actors truly personified their real life counterparts. I thought I was listening to actual recordings of Carl, Elvis, Jerry Lee, and Johnny.

Absolutely amazing. It seems like the guys really studied The Million Dollar Quartet.

We have seen many shows at the Orpheum but this was by far the best we have ever seen. Great story line and the actors resembled the 4 real musicians so much that we felt we were watching the real guys. Would definately recommend it.

Absolutely outstanding show! Although this bit of history took place a decade before I was born, I fully appreciate the significance of that night in Sam Phillip's studio thanks to this phenomenal show. We moved to Memphis just a few years ago and have already fallen in love with the Orpheum primarily because of great acts like Million Dollar Quartet.

It was very entertaining! I didn't want it to end. The songs were great & it was great to learn some history about Memphis & sun studios along the way. The actors/singers did a great job looking and sounding like who they were portraying

The Million Dollar Quartet took me back in time. If you never knew that we were in 2012, you would have thought we were in the 50's. The entire production was hands down the best. Thanks to the Orpheum for bringing it to Memphis.

Simply one of the best shows I've been to. I don't think you can recreate the experience of million dollar quartet anywhere better the it was done here in Memphis, with the support of Heartland crowd. Having one of the drummers from that day make a special appearance was just an extra touch. Unbelievable night to remember!

The show was fabulous!!! The music was wonderful, the energy unbelievable, and the actors amazingly like the real characters they portrayed. It was a little like being transported back in time and getting to see those actual young men in the dawn of rock 'n' roll. Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins seemed to come alive as young men again, as did Sam Phillips, who truly had a golden touch for recognizing and nurturing great musical talent. See the show if early rock interests you at all. You get great music and some fascinating musical history, too.

I have never seen a show like this. All the characters played their own instruments an it felt like a) a real concert and b) a real concert by the real people. This show will have you laughing, tapping your feet, snapping your fingers and singing along.

Excellent in all respects. Wife and I were married in mid 50's and the music in the show brought back a lot of memories.

The characters were so true to the performers that they were portraying! The music was sensational and the last 6 songs were overwhelming!! I would pay to go see this show again and again!!!

The cast was outstanding and, in my opinion, nailed their respective roles. The plot of the story was interesting and seemed to be true to the history of the time. As a native Memphian, it brought back many memories of what a great city I grew up in.

This was truly an amazing experience. I wish the show had gone in all night. The cast all had an amazing likeness to the actual million dollar quartet. I would highly recommend watching this and I would love to see it again!

I knew that this would be special since I live in Memphis. However, I had no idea how truly AMAZING this performance would be. From the opening scene until the final encore we were totally a part of that eventful day. The actors were so real, it was hard to believe they were actors. I would go again. I don't know if Stan Perkins comes out at the end of all performances, but we were very impressed by the last encore featuring the son of Carl Perkins. To add to the mystic, as we left and were driving home we passed the Sun Studio. Great performances by all, wonderful entertainment.

We had never been in the Orpheum so the grandeur of the theatre was a very pleasant surprise. We had really good seats on the main floor, but I don't think any seat in the building could be a bad one. The sound was incredible. Being a close personal friend of Carl Perkins and having enjoyed the music and personal appearances of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis and Johnny Cash I have to say that the performances were really good, especially Cody as Elvis. You would almost swear it was Elvis since he is almost a dead ringer and he has the voice and moves of Elvis perfectly. The young man playing Jerry Lee Lewis is a hoot, and having seen Jerry Lee in person both in his young days and later, I have to say he had him down pat also. The piano playing and singing couldn't have been done better by Jerry Lee himself. The young man doing Johnny Cash has a voice much like Johnny's and did a good job. However as I said, having been a close friend of Carl's and having seen him in concert many times I was a little disappointed in that portrayal. While Carl moved around a lot he did more of a shuffle dance than the Elvis type moves this guy had, and also I never heard Carl say a curse word in my life, either in daily life or on stage so I was disappointed that the character used language like that. That is another thing I didn't like overall, the language that came out of everyone's mouths on stage, since there were several children that were sitting in front of us, but I don't think the cursing or cigarette smoking added to the performance, rather it detracted from it. But overall loved the performance. I would go see it again. Would have loved to have been able to take still pictures, that was my only downer of the night.

This show was GREAT! I am still trying to decide if that was really Elvis up on the stage. The singing, music, story were all good. Very enjoyable evening. I highly recommend it.

It was such a neat experience to see this show in Memphis! Many people in the audience probably had personal experiences with these stars back in the day.

I expected to love this show. It more than delivered. A lot of talent on one stage.

This is a show that has everything to keep you clapping and smiling. You clap with the music. You smile at the humor. You will stand, smile and clap for this cast. They are tremendous. Trust me you will want to come to Memphis to visit Sun Studio's after seeing this show.

The showwas fast paced and sooooo entertaing and informational.....loved the songs ...we wanted to hear more but the show was overt.....I wanted to go out and dance!!!!! I want to see it again......outstanding......

Growing up within a few miles from Memphis, made me really appreciate this even more. I actually lived this time and watched music forever change and Rock and Roll still lives.

The music was great. The performers were amazing in their performances and sounding like the four stars they portrayed. All of the instrumental playing was great. It obviously is a hit in Memphis, but anyone who remembers Elvis, Jerry Lee, Johnny, and Carl will enjoy it and learn more about Sun Records and Sam Phillips and the contribution he made to Rock & Roll..

Was worth every penny I paid for the ticket and more. Lots of talent on that stage and i thoroughly enjoyed it. My only question or criticism would be the the female character. Did the union require you to have at least one woman on stage? She didn't add anything to the story was was the weakest singer of the bunch.

Just got Home from the Opening night of Million Dollar Quartet at Harrah's... People this is an absolute must see show!!! The performers are amazing all instruments are played Live and Vocals are done Live the pace of the show is fantastic and the entertainment is Top Notch!!! P.S. It's Family Friendly

If you like old time rock and roll, live entertainment, live music, and the history of rock, you will leave this show with a very big smile, and having had a great evening.

I have now seen this show twice and it is fantastic.

This show is absolutely wonderful! Full of fun music from the start to end. The cast does a great job of portraying their musicians - it's just like you are in the room with Elvis, Johnny, Carl, and Jerry Lee. This was the second time I saw this play and will see it again - there is so much going on that I saw things this time I missed the first time. You will want to be dancing in the aisle - we were!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Million Dollar Quartet. The impersonators were so true to life and song.

We took our family to see this show after seeing it with friends from out of town. There isn't a bad seat in the house but we got up close and personal. What a great show. We will go again!

Great show, had seen national tour before, this one well worth seeing also. My wife, a BIG Elvis fan, was "over the moon" with it. Go see it if you can. To top it off, management gave us up-graded seats.

I was a teen at the birth of Rock 'n' Roll so M$Q strikes a chord. This was our THIRD show -- we'd seen it in Issaquah and Everett WA and were thrilled to see the post-Broadway version. Q.: How much did we like it??? A.: I've a tick mark on the calendar for Dec 4, 2016 -- the 60th anniversary of that extraordinary night in Memphis -- when we plan to see M$Q a fourth time!

Fun show. Very entertaining and worth the price. Had good seats, the performers all did an excellent job portraying who they were supposed to be.

This is the music and performers I grew up with, the music was wonderful, the cast did a great job of showcasing the talents of these American icons. Wonderful evening.

This cast is the best. The music is exceptionally good. The acting is as good. The story is terrific and enjoyable time after time. We've now seen The Million Dollar Quartet nine times. And we have tickets for number ten. And plans for number eleven. One of the outstanding features is that the entire cast give the audience the sensation that they are truly enjoying themselves. It forces the crowd to enjoy the show. Greeted by two of the stars after the show was truly appreciated.

Terrific show for fans of early R&R. Storyline is based in fact, but with plenty of license. The performers did a perfect job of making the songs feel like you are hearing the original.

Saw the show at Harrah's. Simple staging and movement but a great musical treat. Lots of music that made the 4 famous well performed. Musicianship of the 4 was phenomenal. The Jerry Lee Lewis actor never stopped moving. Thouroughly enjoyable. Would see it again!

This is my second time to see MDQ. Just as good the second time as the first. If given the opportunity I'd see it again. Different cast each time, but still just as good.

This show was very well put together. If a person has any knowledge of the 4 stars portrayed from Sun Records you'll love this. If you don't know this history of Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee or Carl Perkins you will get some education. The actors did a Very good job, and hung around after the show for meet & greet time.

I highly recommend this show. We missed it when it played in NYC and glad we got to see it in Vegas. The theater is very small, and surprisingly it was only about 50% full. There are many discounts for this show, so if you are looking for something to do, i would go to the early show then have dinner afterwards. The actor who portrayed Jerry Lee stole the show,,,, such a talented piano player.

Did not know what to expect, exactly but went on the urging of friends. What a terriffic show. All the singers were great and the lady posed as a young Peggy Lee knocked it outta the park! Rocking Show!!

I learned a lot about the stars of this musical and enjoyed the performance of each one. I liked there was no intermission but a continued performance until the end. The sound was good and the audience was very engaged with the performers.

This stage performance is great and gets better every time I see it. The music is really, really good; and the acting is outstanding. I'll never reach the point where I'm not anxious to see it again. And again. Fun story and well presented.

A little history and a lot of music. Actors/musicians were great. Well worth seeing. Small theatre where any seat is good. Very reasonable ticket prices and packages available. 1.5 hours with no intermission.

We seen the Million Dollar Quartet on Sun Sept 3. We just loved every moment of the show. The actors imitated the look and sound of the original and the music and story was just what we expected--fun, fun, fun. Jerry Lee Lewis was such a character, like your pesky little brother and the banter between the musicians was heartwarming.

the production and sound was top shelf ...had a bit off the broadway Motown type approach which was fine. casting could have been better for the Elvis part. not that he was bad, but he looked more like Sylvio from the Sopranos...on the other hand the casted part for Jerry Lee Lewis was excellent. musically all were competent and it was very well done.

We picked this show for our return to Vegas for our 50th Anniversary. Best choice we could have made. Two septuagenarians rocking in the aisle with all the young folks. Jerry Lee Lewis stole the show.

Even if you aren't into this style of music, it's still fun to watch and learn about how this particular session happened in real life. What I enjoyed is realizing how easy it was to record a song in the 50's. It was all live. No over dubbing, or fixing this one little section. It was live. Once it was recorded, it was done except maybe a little after recording mixing. Just shows you how much talent these guys had. I found it a little slow in the middle. Probably because this wasn't my kind of music, but the performers were amazing. The audience was also fun to watch, especially when they get up dancing! Overall, a very fun evening!

My sister, my daughter and I attended last week, and got totally high on nostalgia and genuine old-time REAL rock and roll. The other guys are very close to the originals, but Johnny Cash is a true incarnation. The whole show just MOVES, and we moved with it. I plan to take my grandsons to this concert in December, just to keep them going with their piano and guitar lessons. There is magic in the music, and that music is for all generations. Fantastic!

This was an awesome show. Tried to get the scarf from "Elvis" but another lucky lady got it instead of me! The music is phenomenal - loved "Johnny Cash". Cole, the performer, has a nice butt! Could/ve grabbed that baby! If you get a chance, see it. I saw it at Harrah's in Las Vegas. Would do it again and again!

If you are a fan of early Rock and Roll, this is the show for you. The entertainers were dead on with their portrayal of jerry lee, Elvis, Johnny Cash, &Carl Perkins. This was one of the best shows we have seen in Vegas.

These singers were excellent! "Johnny Cash" was even better than the real one. Jerry Lee was so ADHD--excellent. And "Dyanne's" voice was powerful.

Even if you're not old enough to remember Carl, Johnny, Elvis and Jerry Lee when they were young you'll still love the high energy and awesome talent of the cast. For those of us old enough to remember, it takes you back to the early years of rock 'n roll. The entire cast are amazingly talented musicians and singers. It's hard to pick a favorite but Jerry Lee steals the show. Great fun!

My wife has always been a big Elvis fan so we decided to attend. The story line was great and the music fantastic. Jerry lee Lewis was my favorite. We enjoyed the show. We purchased the buffet and went to dinner prior to the show. Good entertainment at a fair price

It is only ONE big moment of Sun Record´s amazing history. Very good music played from very good Acters. Only one negativ point - it only takes 1 and a half houre and played in no, no break.

This show takes you back to the birth of Rock N Roll and the night that changed everything. The show revolves around the only time Elvis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis jammed together. All the performers had the mannerisms, sang and played their instruments like the legend they were portraying. The stage set, costumes and props really made you feel you were in the Sun Studio that night in 1956. We sat in the first row of booths and the view of the stage was perfect. I highly recommend this show! It is one you will not forget. BRAVO!!!!!

We enjoyed the show and thought Jerry Lee Lewis was amazing. The Elvis sounded good but didn't look much like a young Elvis to us. The ushers continued to seat folks for at least 2/3's of the show which was distracting and rude. All in all we enjoyed the show and would recommend it.

If you love the history of early rock and roll and the rise of Elvis, Johnny, Carl and jerry lee you will love this. The boys all play and sing all the material and it is a great return to the 50s. Go see it.

The Million Dollar Quartet is one of the most entertaining and affordable show in Las Vegas. If you have any interest in rock and roll, this should be on top of your to do list. Awesome.

If you haven't seen it, go! If you have seen it, go again! A great story combined with the talent of some awesome musicians made for an unforgettable evening of entertainment. My husband said "that was the best musical I have ever seen, I loved it".

This show was amazing! It was so much more than what we thought it would be. Actors were right on with their behavior, personalities, singing and fun. Not only do you get to enjoy some of the songs these awesome famous singers performed back in the day, but the story line was really historical. I have recommended this show to so many of our friends, it is definitely worth the time and money!

We had a guest from out of state, and really wanted her to enjoy herself. She was totally overwhelmed. She said she had seen some of the big name shows and not enjoyed them nearly as much. The music was grand, and the fact that it was a true story made it even better. All the young musicians are very talented and should go far.

I found the production to be very professional, nicely staged, and just the right length. This is not the event as it happened but a show based very loosely on a moment in time when four music giants casually met up at Sun Studios and jammed for an hour or so... The female player was an attractive addition, although not particularly relevant to the actual event. There was a girl there back in the day, but she wasn't as prominent, and didn't sing two songs, as she does in this show. All the players were very good, but I particularly liked 'Sam Phillips' and 'Jerry Lee Lewis' (who kind of steals the show). Overall very good, especially if you know anything about the event and people involved. Only negative: It would have been nice if we had been allowed to take photos without flash, as most other shows allow it.

This is an amazing group telling an amazing story! We took friends to see it because we were so delighted with our first experience and we weren't disappointed. The music is fantastic. You are moving in your seattle whole time. These people do an amazing job recreating a memorable night. You feel like you are right there. A+ and on a scale from 1-10... We give it a 100!!! We will go back again every time w are in Vegas for sure!

Although actors are only personas of the famous performers, It felt like the actors were transforming into the actual celebrities themselves. By the end of the show, I felt like I had seen and heard the real Carl Perkins, Elvis Presly, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis. If you like Rockabilly, you'll love this show.

All of the actors were great and the four Quartet members were spot on. Great music, great fun, great show.

This show was short and sweet, and super fun. The music was wonderful (I was fearing it would be all 50's doowop music, which I hate, but it was more rock-a-billy, which I love).
