although they were a little late getting started, it was worth the wait. catfish put on an incredible performance and their opener was fabulous.

Catfish and the Bottlemen was an amazing show! Had an amazing time! Would would do it again endless amounts of times! Even got to meet the opening act and they were awesome people!

This was the smallest venue I've ever been to, but CATB made it feel like a stadium energy type crowd. They sound better than the record live. Van's stage presence is like no other. CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN ARE GOING TO SAVE ROCK AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!!

This is my all time favorite band and they delivered an unforgettable concert experience for me on June 12 in Colombus Ohio at the Newport Music Hall. They bring their music to life and their energy radiates into the crowd during their performance. I love this band more than anything. 10/10 would recommend.

This was the best concert I've ever been to. High energy the entire time, and their stage presence is immense. Could not have been better.

I don't really know their music very well, I just went because it was a birthday to my friend. Even though I only knew a couple songs, I still loved the show and had a great time.

The first time I was going to see them was in September last year at the House of Blues in Anaheim but at the last minute I wasn't able to go anymore. Anyways I saw them at Hollywood Forever on Monday May 2, 2016 and then I went to an acoustic show in Long Beach 2 days later. Monday was such a great show I had so much fun! But the acoustic show.. so me and my friend got there at 1 pm and we saw just one girl in line waiting so we went to eat and came back and there was more girls okay well we waited 5 or 6 hours and there was probably only like 3 guys out of all the girls (it felt like we were waiting for one direction because of all the fan girls eww lol). Okay so the acoustic show was to promote their new album but they didn't even sing any of their new songs? So they just sang maybe like 5 or 6 old songs and after they were going to sign posters that they gave to us (we were not allowed to take pictures of them when we met them we were only allowed to take pictures in the line) when I met them they were nice they shook my hand expect one but I'm not going to say his name. Me and my friend stayed after to try to meet them but when they came out they didn't even take pictures with us there was like 10 people like I don't think it was going to take forever to take a picture with us, oh and when they came out they had security covering them like come on lol we weren't going to do anything to them. I don't know if it was their manager or they just didn't want to take pictures with us.

Non stop energy from start to finish. Best show I have seen in a while.

CATB did an amazing job performing at Terminal 5! Jamie N Commons was the best opening act i've ever seen.

There are some bands that you see live once. You have a good time at the concert, but wouldn't watch them again because one time is enough to have a feel for their talent. Catfish and the Bottlemen are not one of those bands. Their concerts leave you wanting more. I watched their set at Terminal 5 in NYC and it called for an amazing night, one that I will always remember! Van, the vocalist, is absolutely amazing. I fell in love with the way he screamed into that microphone. The rest of the lads were amazing, so much passion in the way they played their instruments. The whole band was just radiating. It was well worth the $30 I paid. I would suggest seeing them before they get big and the ticket prices raise which will be very soon, but I'd still pay loads of money just to see them perform again. (they're that good!!!) Jamie n Commons was absolutely amazing as well! Don't die knowing you didn't go to a Catfish and the Bottlemen concert.

I've seen catfish 3 times live and every time they are amazing. Hands down the best band right now. After the show the boys came outside and took pictures and signed for everyone out there and spent time with everyone super classy band. So in love

Opening band was okay but CATB absolutely rocked the place! High energy, great crowd participation and loud - they performed at high level from the first song to the last. Wish they had a larger song list so they could have played longer.

One of the best new albums I've purchased in a long time. The entire album is good and their concert is even better! They sound amazing live!! Find where they are playing and go see them. You won't be disappointed!!

I had very high hopes for seeing this band live and was not disappointed! I saw them 2 nights in a row with Jammie and Commons. The sound was great, the boys give you more than your money's worth (way more!!!) a stadium worthy show even though it was a small venue. I was pleasantly surprised by Jammie and Commons, they have a Black Keys/Kings of Leon/Reverend Horton Heat vibe that I loved, and a very entertaining stage presence. The only thing I would change is a longer set - which is completely selfish - but I wanted more! :) There is no encore, which Americans are generally not used to. Can't wait for the 2nd album!!! Run to see this band now - or you will miss the chance to see them in a small setting.

They were electric, full of energy and fun! The guys were great to watch on stage, they even had a few funny moments! I would definitely recommend going to see the live. They sound great live!

If you love Rock n Roll w grinding guitars, these Brit rockers are a must see! We've seen them 6X including Lollapalloza & Bunbury Music Festival and they never disappoint!

This was not the first time I've seen Catfish and The Bottlemen live and it sure as hell won't be the last, but so far it was the absolute best! If you like this band, do yourself a favor and go see them live. Hang out after and meet them before they blow up and aren't able to do that anymore. These lids are some of the nicest people i've ever met and they put on an absolute killer show! It's definitely not one you wanna miss! Totally unforgettable. If you've never heard of this band I highly recommend you go check out their debut album 'The Balcony' and try to tell me they aren't amazing. Just check them out. Their album is amazing, but the live shows are even better (probably helps they have a new guitarist, not the one featured on the album). They've got a new album coming out soon and you'll want to get the first one down before that happens, I promise!

Second time seeing them and The boys are always amazing! Catfish and the bottlemen are one of those groups that can play any kind of setting. I would love to see them play an acoustic set or fill up a stadium or play anywhere in between. Highly recommend these guys!!

The show itself was incredible, but the venue staff was very rude and unpleasant

Not only was the opening band incredible, but Catfish just had an amazing amount of energy all the way through. There was never a dull moment. They were only on stage for about 1.5 hours but it was still enough.

I've seen Catfish and the Bottlemen 3 times now (the 4th time going to be May 10) and I can confidently say I'd see them a thousands times more. This past time in Detroit (October 13, 2016) I had the opportunity to meet the band and all I have to say is they are the most genuine musicians I have ever met. I had also thrown a CD during the break of "Outside" so when I got to talk to van I asked him if he got it and he said "I believe Larry has it!" which hints to the review title.

The energy at their shows is so incredible and unforgettable. I met them after the show and it was my birthday so they all wished me a happy a birthday. Really genuine guys and super talented.

First time at The Myth and seeing Catfish and the Bottlemen live. Venue was adequate and clean. Then band was so good I had a hard time believing they only had two albums and that they were so young. I've been going to see live music since '75 (Elton John's Louder than the Concorde tour) and these guys rank in my top 10, if not top 5 favorite. Extremely tight musicians. You have to see them to appreciate.

Amazing show! Drove up from Florida, and we were not disappointed!

GUYS. They were so good. The opening act was The Worn Flints and they got to play a longer set than most opening acts, which was FANTASTIC. The crowd was ready to go and then Catfish and the Bottlemen came out. Venue was super cute with plenty of room. We were in the pit by the amp. We drove eight hours to see them. Definitely worth it. If you like them and they are nearby, PLEASE GO. Support 'em.

Catfish and the Bottlemen not only dominated the stage with their musical talent, but also were able to keep the show going. The show I saw (Oct. 2016) had no openers, and when they took the stage, there was no stopping. One great song after another, with really only enough wait time in between to throw down a drink of water and wipe off with a towel. Very impressive and would love to see again

Dude, the Catfish and The Bottlemen concert was an unforgettable experience. They're easily in my top 5 favorite bands, actually they're probably number 1. They're so energetic and their music transfers so well from the studio version to live. I love the fact that they played the Variety Playhouse because it's such a small venue and the seats are great no matter where you end up. I'm my opinion, small venues are really intimate and you have a much better experience with the band. I also loved the price of those tickets. I can handle $22 and some fees just fine! I thought that they chose a really great set list to perform and I wish that they could've performed longer. Van has the cutest personality and I think that it really shines through when he's performing. The staff was super friendly and willing to help, which is also important. They were quick to move you through the line as well. I think that it's by far one of the best concerts that I've been to in awhile, and The Bottlemen can definitely expect to see my face at their next Atlanta concert!

Super show! This band took the stage and rocked non-stop. It was my son's 2nd concert and he was smiling from ear to ear. They played nearly every song in their catalog (of 2 albums). We could only come up with 3 they didn't do. I love the Variety Playhouse and only bummer for me was there was no $3 PBR! Up and coming band in a cool, intimate venue!

Catfish and the Bottlemen are an exceptionally ambitious group and you can see/hear/feel their passion when you are at their shows!!! Van McCann says "thank you" after every song and just goes absolutely crazy the entire time. Catfish is a band you must see live!!! The sound, the lights, and the fans create an amazing atmosphere! Such a fantastic show! (Also the "pre-show" music before they came on was brilliant - "Someday" by the Strokes, "Ms. Jackson" by OutKast, "Evil Woman" by Electric Light Orchestra, and "Ain't That a Kick in the Head" by Dean Martin were a few of the songs chosen.)

I had a great view, the staff was friendly and efficient when letting us into the venue and the show itself was so fun!

This is a must see show for any rock / alt rock fan. Band is highly talented.

Catfish and the Bottlemen was amazing! They're so good live and we had an amazing time. The opener (Worn Flints) was hilarious as well. The venue was really well organized and had a good layout- staff I interacted with were all very helpful and polite and the line moved very fast to get into the venue- screening process was very expedited. Overall wish that personal cameras were allowed, but was still absolutely amazing to see Catfish.

Awesome music, friendly and amazing fans, best live performance I've ever had the privilege to see. If you get the chance to see them please do before they're selling out stadiums.

I'm so glad I was able to see Catfish and the Bottlemen at a smaller venue like this because I have no doubt in my mind they are off to bigger and better things in the near future. Everything was completely perfect: the sound, the showmanship, the technical aspects. You know a band is good when they sound the same live as they do in the studio and Catfish and the Bottlemen definitely achieved that. If you have a chance to go see this band, I would highly suggest it.

Just GO. If going to see Catfish and the bottlemen is even a thought in your head.. JUST GO, don't think twice! Van sounds perfect live, and the crew plays the songs MAJESTICALLY and the set list will give you life! GO GO GO GO TRUST ME ... Oh and I left sweaty and with a sore throat which is also proof of how good it was hahaha

saw CATB last year - there were three times as many people at the show this time. Great band live - although they could have played a little longer since they have 2 full albums out. I don't even think they were on stage for 1.5 hours... will definitely see them again!

From the moment the first band got onstage to the moment catfish got off there was so much energy that you wouldn't want the night to end. Catfish and the Bottlemen put on such a great show and gave each song their all. After almost every song we were thanked and it was the most polite show I had ever been to.

I've been fortunate enough to attend a large number of concerts, but this show was unreal. I've been a huge fan of CatB for years now and finally getting to see them live was amazing. As far as live performances go, this was incredible. These guys gave one hell of a performance and showed just how much they love doing what they do. Van's vocals live rang through the venue and sounded better than the albums. The band (Bondy, Benji, and Bob) played an incredible show, and had lots of long solos, improvisations and made songs more memorable. All in all, an unforgettable night.

Van and Co. were great. Saw at The Ready Room in St. Louis. Sold Out, very intimate venue of about 750 capacity. They worked a small stage but Van was very animated. Climbed on top of the speakers for a bit and hung his guitar from the ceiling cables for a bit before the crowd cheered them back on for the encore. Best concert of 2016 I've been to so far, and I've been to about 15 big name Indie shows this year. Would definitely recommend to any level of Catfish fan.
