Andrew Dice Clay

Andrew Dice Clay is proud to be America's most controversial and outrageous comic of all time. To this day, Clay remains the only performer banned for life from MTV.  When he released his debut album, DICE, the parental advisory label simply read "Warning: This album is offensive."But despite all the media backlash, Dice has remained a comic icon and the self proclaimed “Undisputed Heavyweight King of Comedy.

As we thought the show was over the top; the venue was awesome and the show was hilarious. The opening act had us rolling and then came Dice, not once did we stop from laughing. We would definitely go to see him again whenever possible

You need to keep in perspective the type of humor that Andrew Dice Clay presents. It's Raw, Crude, Adult, Spontaneous, Sexual and most of all un-nerving as he penetrates and proves there is humor in every aspect of life. He demonstrates there is humor in the most intimate of actions and the most mundane aspects of life, if you can verbalize what you are thinking or seeing at the time. Your glad he is saying it, because you have thought about it the same way sometimes. Keep an open mind and think of your inner thoughts as he says things, and you won't stop laughing for over an hour. Thanks Dice, you didn't disappoint!!

Andrew "Dice" Clay is rude, obnoxious, and still as funny as heck. He abuses audience members to the delight of all. And, he still telling rhymes. This show was just a lot of fun. If you like his humor (which I do) then it is worth the cost of admission.

Like many folks my age (38), my introduction to Dice Clay was via his now classic HBO concert from late 1980's. I have seen many of his subsequent concert videos, including Dice Rules, No Apologies, etc, and own a few of his cds. I was one of the first in line on opening night of his movie "Ford Fairlane," and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it received some poor reviews; I wondered why his most recent endeavor (a reality-comeback show), was cancelled, as I thought it very entertaining. Finally, Glenside, PA @ the Kenswick Theater, 2009, I got my chance to see my favorite comedian live, but wondered...was he still as good??? We were about 13 rows from the stage, and the show was very good. I just saw Dice last night @ the Tropicana Showroom (3rd row center). Now the review: Although the opening act was short, and funny, I believe a longer solo appearance better suited for Dice's persona. I noticed a marked difference between this show and the smaller, Kenswick. Andrew seemed happier and more dynamic with the larger audience. From start to finish, he was completely in control, though appearing to be shooting from the hip. Most impressive to me, was that this show was not a carbon-copy of the other show I saw on this tour. Probably 65% or more of the show was completely different. There was, of course, some of the same material, but even then, it was skillfully interspersed differently throughout both shows...Subject matter included Obama, sex, penis size, the guys in the front rows, etc. Dice is not laying-back and riding the wave from the 80's & 90's...He is as creative and funny as ever, though he does finish up with the obligatory Nursery Rhymes, which both audiences reveled in. There were two drunken dudes in the 3rd row being moderately disruptive. After addressing them once or twice, with "Shut up assface," they continued. Finally, Andrew walked over and made the idiot stand up, lectured him, and had security escort him to the back of the room to "face the wall for 10 minutes." His buddy quickly followed, and was also escorted out. The way Dice handled this situation was masterful. He gave them their 5 secs of attention, was funny, then kicked them out!! Security guys appeared a bit unsure at first, of Dice's orders, but did actually eject them from their seats. Dice did not appear nervous, nor unsure for even one second...someting very important for his "character." Exactly how much of the show is rehearsed and how much is improv, only Andrew knows for sure...and that's exactly how a experienced comedian should appear! Andrew is seasoned and acomplished with impeccible timing. He is still sharp, charismatic, filthy, and funny as ever...Bottom line: Dice Clay still "has it;" no doubt about it. Although he left me wanting for more at the end of the show...that's exactly what an entertainer strives for! I could have easily been captivated for another 45 minutes. That is not to say, that the approx. 1 1/2 hour set was not sufficient. Although I very much wanted Dice to be as good as ever, I half-expected him to be less...Happily, the former was the case! I do wonder, though, why he doesn't wear any of those old, Glitzy studded jackets...perhaps those are retired for want of the days of sold-out giant sports arenas. I believe that Andrew has nothing to be ashamed of...the Tropicana is nothing to sneeze at. Perhaps those "Big-Arena" days are gone, but not because of anything Dice does or doesn't do...I think that he hit America at just the right time back then...What other comedian can even SAY that they sold out Madison Square Garden? After seeing this show, I am thoroughly convinced, that Andrew Dice Clay is one, if not THE very best comedian of my generation...in the vein of Kinison, Pryor, etc... He was a pleasure to watch, and the closer seats GREATLY add to the overall enjoyment of the show (as he did spend alot of time re-naming front-rowers, like Vinnie, and Joey-D, you can see exactly who he is referring to). I honestly cannot offer even one justified criticism. The 9:00 show didn;t start until 930, but that's to be expected. By the way, I have NEVER written a review of a concert before, comedy or otherwise. I just felt strongly that this show merited it. Thank you, Dice, for all the years of laughs...past and future!...

I actually laughed harder during the opening act (Eleanor Kerrigan). He was pretty good but nothing like he used to be. Getting old sucks and it's a little creepy watching a 60 year old who looks like he's 70 talking about sexual encounters. But at least he came up with new material.

My first impression was of our seats for the price. They were just perfect. Next the theatre was well temperatured considering it was over 90 deg. out and the cocktail wasn't overpriced and it was made well. Next the show as I have seen Dice in two other venues was just great. He comes out with all new material which I loved. All geared to things going on today in the now. Then he obliged all of us old school dice fans with the ending of his original nursery rhymnes. I had a stomach cramping laughing time all the way thru. I loved again for the second time Eleneor Kerrigan. So I say Bravo to the theatre and the show. I just wish I would have known he was doing a meet and greet I would have stayed for that.

We have been fans of the Diceman since the 80's. Yes he is raunchy but very funny. If you can take his humor stay home but clearly since the theatre was sold out, many can. His opening act who is female btw, was even raunchier! He has a whole new act but did not disappoint the crowd without doing his Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme skit before leaving the stage. Definitely worth seeing him if you are can just relax and laugh! I love the St. George Theatre and would have given them 5 stars but the air conditioning was a little lacking on that hot Saturday night!

Was really looking forward to seeing him. Two opening comedians...about 20% of what they rambled on about was funny. Dice rambled on about a fan and air conditioner for 10 min--boring. Never said, "Oooooh" one time. Was funny when he went off on a few topics. Wasn't a top-notch performance from a star like i thought it would be.$97 was way too much for this evening. Would've been okay with this performance for $40. The very small venue was pretty cool. They need to have more than ONE person taking tickets!!

Opening comedian was hilarious.Although I don't remember her name (shame on me) she could have been headliner.Dice was fantastic as always but don't expect the old Dice.Despite a cursory run through his nursery rhymes at the end Dice took a much more obtuse approach and stayed on the same topic (relationships) for his whole time.Singling out "Joey and Myrna" an older married couple near the front who were married for 40 years and carried on a mostly conversational narrative with them.Equisitely funny and spot on but not really for a newbie Dice fan.Basically like his TV show.Thoroughly enjoyed but no real laughs like the old times when I couldn't breath for laughing so hard.

I bought tickets for this show simply because Dice was a legend and I was too young to see him when he first broke out. I pretty much thought he was a has-been and couldn't compete with the comedians of today. I was wrong. His material was good... but his timing, stage presence and charisma was amazing. His crowd-work is better than anyone's. He took his chauvinist persona and added a dimension of confusion of the modern world, and actually empowers women with his show other than denigrates them. Sure, his act is still raunchy and sex-heavy, but that's what you signed up for. What you get is better than advertised.

Tired---not funny waited for the "good part" but the "good part" never came. Finally, just gave up and went home.

The new Coney Island venue is so nice but so poorly run . There is only one main entry in if you are not VIP and it took forever in the rain to get in . The venue was unbearably HOT ! This has to be addressed ! As for the DICE MAN - he delivered . He was great and so funny . How can he not be in his home town of Brooklyn USA . He brought his A game and it was enjoyed. The Opening acts 2 of 3 were very funny as well - Wheels who always opens for Dice is as good as Dice and he opened up . Laughed away - and that's all you ask for . DICE DICE DICE !

DICE MAN ROCKED!! All new material plus some old favorites. Sharp as a switchblade, Sporting a new series and flawless comedic timing... Dice was ... Un Believable. This was my first time at The Paramount. I was very impressed. Great town n location too. Parking was difficult. The Paramount itself was clean staff courteous. Drinks good - crowd was pretty n trendy. Good to see .. Great show - Dice Rules since the beginning!

Was a big Dice fan ever since my dad let me listen to his cassette tape in the late 80's. It was a great father's day present to take me dad to see him, which was the first time for both of us. Dice did not disappoint. Had us laughing the whole show. He is definitely one of the top comedians of all time! Thank you Dice!

ADC came out to the dice chant for 5 minutes & strutted side to side on stage canvasing the audience looking for someone to pick on. When he found his prey he proceeded having a twenty minute conversation with "Joey", & his big busted girl. The concert lasted only 55 minutes. There wasn't any new material, & the nursery rimes are old. I have seen him 3 other times. It's time to hang it up Dice

The Andrew Dice Clay show was way too short with minimal new material and minimal laughs. In addition, the opening act was not funny. This show was disappointing and I recommend to others to pass on this show.

I saw him twice in the last 10 years at the Beacon in NYC. He was good back then but his Paramount performance totally killed. This "new" but older Dice is the same as the in-his-prime Dice. High energy, very excitable and hysterical. Non-stop laughter. NON-STOP. Wasn't sure what to expect - I've heard some of his later performances where it seemed like he was fighting the crowd and phoning it in from home. This was the total opposite. I'd say 90%-95% of his material was new, peppered in with some of the old stuff. He's embracing his age nicely and is a LITTLE self-deprecating (check out his show on Showtime), but is just as witty and filthy. Best comedy show I've ever seen (and I've seen a range including Dangerfield, John Pinette, Don Rickles, Lewis Black [before he got too preachy], Jim Norton, etc.) A word about Dice's opener - Wheels Parisi. I've seen Wheels on Showtime. Not the insult-comic that Dice is, but funny as hell and great opener.

Dice was of course the man! The venue (wellmont theatre) unfortunately had terrible sound! We had upper balcony seats which would have been fine, but $40 to not hear the opening act at ALL and it was a strain to hear the main act. I would only recommend this venue for music, unless you can get better seats to hear a comedian.

I enjoyed the opening act as well as Andrew Dice Clay's performance. Again, he was funny and had new material. He ended the show with his version of the old time nursery rhymes.
