We never really thought to bring our kids to the circus but felt it may soon be of a dying era, especially with Ringling Bros. closing shop. We are so glad we took them to the Royal Hanneford circus for the full experience. The animals we saw perform were tigers, zebras, camels, ponies and my favorite...the elephants! We also saw a flying trapeze, lots of acrobatics, balancing acts, a motorcycle stunt, a comic clown, and a guy shoot from a canon. There were mostly acts I remember as a kid but a few new ones that brought this show up to today's time, like a parkour type act. Very cool!! These people are very talented and made everything look effortless.

I took my 4yr old daughter, She loved everything. I liked the acts and the people were very friendly. The pony ride was great but i thought it was expensive. They charged $10 per child. Overall it was a very good time, I would definetly see their acts again.

This is the second time that we have see this circus and it will most likely be our last. The acts themselves were fairly good, but it just seems like the whole set-up is on it's last breath. Some of the performers are exceptional while some parts of the show are very "old-school" and I don't mean that in a good way...a lot of it was pretty cheesy. My 2 year old daughter, of course, wouldn't know the difference but I really think that they need to find some more contemporary acts, too. Also, we didn't like they way they they were advertising the toys and such during the actual show...it was like a commercial break during Saturday morning cartoons selling your kids the latest junk....it was very tacky. I understand that it's probably how they make most of their profits...by selling these light- up swords and butterflies, but they really don't even have anything to do with a circus. I do feel bad for the performers, too. With exception of the clown act, I believe that they are very skillful at what they do, but I just think they need a better set-up to showcase their talent.

Very well done. The ringmaster kept everything moving so there was no downtime or dead spots. They held all the kids interest for the entire performance. My 6 year old grandson really enjoyed all the acts and was laiughing out load at the clowns and the "Monkey Business."

This was an amzing show. The Wallendas were breathtaking, the monkeys hysterical, the baby elephant adorable. It was fast paced with lots of excitement. I went with my husband and grown daughter, no little children and loved it.

Convenient and close to home fun for the entire family. My 7 year old son was entertained the entire 2 hours of the show. The 20 minute intermission was a little too long for us, however if your children are into pony rides or having their picture taken with a Python you're in luck. We sat only a few rows back from the center ring and although they claimed to have graduated seating, in my opinion it was not graduated enough! We had to crane our necks to see the other two rings and at most times my son had to either stand or sit on my husband's lap. I would suggest sitting in either the two front rows or up in the mezzanine.

The Royal Hannaford Circus, while not a huge extravaganza, is good family fun. There is a good variety of acts and plenty of extras like face painting, pony rides and photos ops to keep the kids busy and happy; unfortunately it does lead to a deep hole in your pockets too as all this is extra above your ticket price! The only real downer is that the push to get you to buy the many things they are selling is over the top and really in your face. Beyond that there are Elephants, monkeys, tigers, trapeze artists and more to keep the kids entralled. Its also 2 hrs; just about the right time when kids are ready to go and parents can't spend any more :-)

Royal Hannaford Circus is a wonderful event for children and adults. Most of the kids were young but I took 2 - 13 year olds and they loved it. The circus acts were great and we even got to see the Flying Wallendas, a very famous circus family, in a small arena, which was an wonderful treat.

My husband and I took our 4 yr old daughter to the circus. We had an amazing time. All of the performers were great. We really enjoyed the fact that they had different acts this year. The only bad parts of the show was that it began late and our daughter was getting bored just sitting there waiting for it to start. Also we had paid for reserved sitting and they were allowing people who didnt pay for reserved to sit in the seats that were reserved. Therefore the people who paid extra had to sit somewhere else. Overall the show was awesome and we will definetly be going again next year!!!!

We took my 4 year old son to the circus for the first time. We drove 2 hours to get there and it was not at all what we expected. The juggler dropped what he was juggling, other performers mistakes were easily noticed as well. The best part was a couple who do a costume change, that was pretty cool. Most of the performers also work there before the show and during intermission and they are not at all friendly. On the commercial they showed people being thrown from one trapeze to another, there was none of that. It was an ok show, just not what I expected for a 2 hour drive.

We used to bring our children to this circus and we are now continuing with our grandchildren. It is a great small circus with aerial acts, jugglers, clowns, live animal shows and dare devil routine. Nice small setting lets the little ones really enjoy the feeling of a circus. Pony and camel rides available at the intermission

It was the perfect size for my little ones. Not too over the top and so close to home. It was a perfect first time circus experience! We are excited for them To come back next year. Extremely affordable with great seats anywhere you choose there is an awesome View. Only frustrating thing was the concession people walking and standing in front selling all different items during the show.

My 8 year old granddaughter enjoyed every moment of this show. Nifty the clown painted her face before the show and even matched the paint colors to her shirt. I recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before showtime if you want to take advantage of the "extras" such as face painting, pony rides, photos, etc. as the lines for these are very long during the intermission. Yes, they were rather costly but we expected it as the ticket prices were very reasonable. The show started on time and we found the county staff members and circus employees courteous and helpful. The venue itself was clean and well organized.

We loved the circus!! My only recommendation would be that there needs to be a stationary ticket stand. Having employees walk around selling tickets to animal rides and face painting doesn t make it easy for an adult to find them to purchase tickets. We missed out on the camel ride ☹️

We returned to see this circus again and my kids couldn't have enjoyed it more. Something for all ages and new acts/ routines keep you coming back. This time we especially enjoyed seeing the floor acrobatics of the Chicago Boyz (from America's Got Talent). Also, we love that if you get to venue early you can ride some animals (for fee) since the line for riding is long at intermission.

I really enjoy the circus at the Westchester County Center. The seating is great for the kids. They always have plenty of pre-show and intermission activities. The concession prices are reasonable compared to other venues. Lots of fun all around.

The good news is this is cute for probably 3 to 5 year olds (my granddaughter's age) but that's about it. Make sure you sit across from the center ring or you'll be looking at performers backs. It's VERY cheesy. There are CONSTANT ANNOYING people selling LED wands and flashing stuff ($15 each) and getting in your face throughout the time you are sitting there. The actual seats I reserved were not the seats I had because the actual seats did not line up with the Ticketmaster site (TM actually refunded my purchase price as a result - kudos to TM!). It's a far cry from what I recall as a kid going to Ringling Brothers but again it's good for a 3 to 5 year old so all in all I give it a yes.

We had a blast at the show. From the pony rides to the show itself the kids were entertained. For families with small kids, the show is a little long (about 3hrs with intermission) but my kids were entertained. I would recommend packing a lunch or lots of snacks to avoid eating from concessions if you prefer. All in all we would definitely go back and the theater was as clean, quick, staff was informed and friendly.

Reasonably priced and enjoyable. There were good acts and no bad seats. The seats in front were practically in the performers laps. There was also the opportunity to ride on an elephant, camel and ponies before the start of the show and intermission. There was face painting for the kids, or grownups if you're are so inclined. There were the usual acts, trapeze, acrobats, clowns, elephants, horses, camels and motorcycles speeding around inside a giant metal ball. My only complaint was that the ringmaster was sometimes hard to understand but it really did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the show.

Not as many animals as in previous years but that is a good thing.however the cost of the elephant,camel and pony rides was ridiculous. $10 to go around the small ring 3 or 4 times. When purchasing these tickets there was no indication that this was a NEW circus. Kids weren't really interested. Bring back the fun, entertaining acts like grandmas hula hoop and the motorcycles!! Did not like that at the end of the show they announced it was a new circus!! Wish I knew this before I bought the tickets.

I hadn't heard of the Royal Hanneford Circus prior, but being it was local and coming to the Westchester County Center and tickets were SO affordable, I was excited to take my four year old Daughter. I was nothing short of impressed! The entire staff from booths/vendors, to the guides in lines and those leading the animal rides during intermission - everyone was patient and very friendly. The show itself was phenominal. Performers were top-notch. It was so impressive to be in such a small venue where my Daughter and I could be SO close to the animals. And I was SO impressed with how many animals they actually had as part of the show! Can't wait for next year!

My husband and I took our grand children ages 12 and 6 to the circus. We had attended 3 years ago so had forgotten what to expect. It's a great small one ring circus with a lot of fun and thrilling acts. You can go beforehand to ride the camels and ponies, have your face painted or have a picture taken with a snake and the elephnats. We were surprised they still used elephnts in the show as we thought circus' could no longer do so.The tiger act left my granddaughter gasping with fear. Grammy the clown was great though more clowns would add more humor to the show. The trapeze acts were great and the men from Havana were terrific also. The motorcycle dare devils were thrilling and the man shot out of the rocket ship death defying. All in all we had a great time and the children enjoyed it .

Great show with many acts that were very entertaining. Only annoyance was pony rides for $10 that were about 30 seconds, yeah great line moves quick but unfair ride time for cost. Was very displeased with that as many other parents had same sentiment! Also had good laugh at polaroid pic with beautiful elephants which was also expensive and waste of time. Picture came out super dark and very small.

This was our second year in a row going to the Royal Hanneford Circus. The acts changed some, but the overall feel was the same. The kids enjoyed a lot and were looking forward to mainstay acts like Grandma the clown. I am sure we will return next year as it is quickly becoming a tradition to attend the Royal Hanneford Circus each year.

A very nicely staged and orchestrated circus. Intimate thanks to the size of the venue. Talented group of performers including the trained animals. Too bad that much of the event is focused around upselling the spectators. $10 for a polaroid with the elephants. Pony ride, camel ride, light up swords, etc. The intermission felt artificially long in order to accommodate the never ending line of people waiting to take photos.

We had first row floor seats that were entirely obstructing our 4&6 year olds view of the center ring. My husband asked if something could be done, and was shrugged off. All of the extras were a fortune, as was to be expected. Although my kids "enjoyed" the camel ride, the circus worker who took them on/off pretty much man handled both of them. The audio was horrendous, and the animals look miserable. Not to mention that one of the acts is a pig who will oink on command, what they don't tell you is that the guy is pinching his skin to get him to do it every time. Made me sick. The acts themselves were pretty dated, and the dancers in between all seemed disenchanted.
