Weezer

Weezer, formed in Los Angeles in the early, alternative-era '90s, became a premier guitar-rock/pop band with the release of their self-titled debut in 1994. A number of fun, catchy songs from the album—"Undone (The Sweater Song)," "Say It Ain't So," "Buddy Holly"—became huge successes among alternative rock listeners, receiving substantial radio play and appearing as highly inventive and entertaining videos on MTV. In 1996, after releasing Pinkerton, an album which revealed an even more accomplished songwriting ability from the band, Weezer remained silent for a few years before reestablishing themselves as an important rock band in the new millennium with 2001's Weezer (Green Album). Other releases include 2002's Maladroit and Make Believe in 2005.

Weezer nailed. tackling a bunch of their popular songs and their covers, they really put on a great show. The Pixies were great and put on a good show as well. Sleigh Bells just wasn't a good choice for an opener. They did not work with the music played that night.

This concert did not start off auspiciously when we learned that Northwell incorrectly profiled this concert and would not patrons bring 'drinks' back to their seats and corralling them outside the arena - as such we unfortunately missed most of The Pixies - but Weezer was amazing. Song after great song with a few cover songs tucked in - it was a fun evening. Thank you Weezer...!

So this was my first concert, technically (other than the plethora of bands at Bonnaroo) and it was a great first! Not only is Weezer great, but they engaged the audience and had a lot of cool stage theatrics. Definitely recommend seeing their show if you are even slightly interested in them. Aragon Ballroom was also a kicka** place to see them.

Weezer was great, Jack's Mannequin was not. Motion City Soundtrack needed to play for more than 10 minutes because they staged much better than JM. Love the trampoline on the stage... oh, and Weezer should play El Scorcho.

Concert was terrific! Rivers was full of energy and all over the stage--put on a great show with his fellow band members. Played all my favorite songs that I wanted to hear (except Keep Fishing) along with a few newer songs. Opening acts were also great. Only complaint was leaving Aragon--crowd management is awful and it took forever to get people down the stairs.

The show was great, the guys were fresh and just starting their tour-not jaded yet. There were a few minor kinks to work out, but they made up for it with enthusiasm. Great music, lots of old stuff-not tooheavy on the new, thanks!

When the band came out playing a Van Halen riff, I knew it was going to be an entertaining evening, but I had no idea to what lengths frontman Rivers Cuomo would take in involving the crowd. During the first song, Cuomo threw out toliet paper so the audience could tp the interior of the Aragon Ballroom. Later, beach balls, large and small, were tossed out into the crowd during "Island in the Sun." The set list was more of a "Best of" than just a feature of their new album- "Undone (The Sweater Song)," "Buddy Holly," "Dope Nose," and "Say It Ain't So" were among the many older songs played. (It seemed that more from the Blue Album was played than from Raditude.) Cuomo had an unbelievable energy throughout the night- eventually it caught on with all of the crowd.

Show was rock-solid; everyone brought their A game. Motion City started with a quick, short set. Sound a bit off. Jack's Mannequin was next with a rockin' hard set and crystal piano chords. But Weezer brought it like they always do. A dressed-down show compared to others, but the set list was mostly early stuff, including a lot off the Blue Album, some Pinkerton and Maladroit sprinkled in. The sound was pitch perfect and a great cover of Pink Floyd's "Breathe" and a mix with some Lady GaGa "PokerFace" thrown in for laughs. Alll in all a good hour and a half set from Weezer and the whole show was smoothe and fast-paced.

weezer is one of those bands that just seems to keep on living, no matter how many times rivers cuomo tries to kill them. tonite's show seemed to personify that notion: no matter what rivers did on stage--whether it was throwing toilet paper into the crowd, donning a blonde lady gaga wig or spastically jumping around while singing--he could do no wrong before the sold out crowd at the aragon. the band sounded good and their show was solid--it contained plenty of hits (buddy holly, undone, island in the sun, beverly hills, etc) and plenty of songs hardcore fans were craving (surf wax america, tired of sex, etc), along with pink floyd, mgmt and lady gaga covers. rivers seemed to be in a state of bliss on stage--erratically running and jumping around for the full hundred minutes they were out there... both opening acts were great and definitely worth checking out again. weezer was good, but not great. as a fan of fifteen years, i'd go check them out again for a reasonable price, but there was nothing worth dropping another $50 on!

Missed the opening acts, but got there in time for Weezer. They played an awesome set, except for when one of those chicks from Gossip Girls came and sang part of "If Your Wondering if I Want You To (I Want You To)". She kinda sucked and therefore ruined the song. Otherwise an awesome show!!

My hubby and I were offered last minute tickets for this event by some friends who couldn't make it. We had heard of Wheezer, but none of the other groups, so we were hesitant. We finally said let's do this and we headed up to Sacramento. BEST. Decision. Ever. We had so much fun; fell in love with groups we've never heard of and we want to go again. Sure it was hot...but just make sure you keep your water bottles filled just in case they run out of water. Find shady spots to enjoy the music. Best tip: do not park in the lot by the main gates...park way around the corner to the lot that has another entrance...it's a hike, but once you get back to your car the exit is quick and easy.

Weezer had a great performance with so many great hits and new singles! Panic at the Disco also had a great show but didn't share that same chemistry that Weezer had between band members and the crowd. Other great performers included Phantogram who have some great new songs coming out. Also Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness were very energetic and engaging with the crowd. Same with the Struts and the Unlikely Candidates. All great bands!

I am a responsible adult with my own real estate business, but before that I am a mother of 6, 4 of which are currently teen aged girls. I surprised my daughters and took them to this event. I am SO HAPPY that I did. Besides Weezer, who I adore, I didn't have any idea who any of the other bands were. Sure, my kids were beyond excited to see all that were there and they knew them, but I had no idea what I was in for. I was a little concerned that I was going to have to suffer through the night until I instructed my girls to take each other's hand and I lead them deep into the crowd of concert goers and out in to the middle and towards the front, between the two stages where we could easily see the bands play on either of the two stages where I completely submerged myself and my girls into the concert. I have to admit, I fell in love with every band that played and I really enjoyed all of the people that were around us. What a fun time! The crowd was a mixture of all ages, everyone was so respectful and there to just have a fun time and enjoy the music and their friends. I saw one drunk girl the whole night and I instinctually wanted to see if I could help, but her friends were taking very good care of her and I didn't see any reason to step in. Other than that, nothing, and you can be sure that I was looking. Of course I know that there had been drinking, but nothing out of control was going on. The event was well organized. There were plenty of bathrooms, lots of food available, and water. A bottled water was $5, but they had a huge water truck filled with filtered water and spigots coming from it where you could easily refill your bottle for free. When we left for the evening my girls wanted to run to say hello to some friends. I told them that I would meet them up front at the gate. I walked up and stood there watching people as they left and I was happy that I did. It was then that I realized the huge mix of people at the concert. I saw people as old as in their 80's and as young as about 7, all races too. It was a huge melting pot of fun. Everyone appeared to leave the concert happy and they were talking about how awesome it was. In the end I felt that though I wouldn't want to miss this and I would like to continue going to events like this though out the rest of my life, this was an event that I now would feel comfortable allowing my girls to go to without an adult at their side. The images in our parental minds of what concerts are like creates the fears that we have in allowing our kids to go to concerts, but this just was not reality. My suggestion... let your hair down, take a risk, and just go. Give it a try for yourself. I sure am happy that I did. In the end I not only bonded with my girls on a new level, I have a few favorite new bands. Whether you go or not, don't stop your kids from going. This is an event that anyone can and should attend. It was awesome. Thank you to all who worked so hard to put it together. Well done.

pleasantly surprised by the Harrah's venue. It was really small for an out door space but worked well. Panic! at the Disco put down a great show, Weezer rocked it out from there. The sound quality was a lot worse for Weezer, but i think that was by design. My biggest complaint was the opening band. The posters and adds for this tour say "with special guest Andrew McMahon and the Wilderness". instead we got some guys from NJ. OK, but not as advertised. Big let down.

First the opening band was a current fav of mine so I was happy to begin with. I have been waiting to see Panic! since their second album and I was not disappointed. They had Jazz instruments, a very Vegas feeling-stage and vocals that would not quit! The level of entertainment was 11 of 10! Then Weezer came out and blew me away with a set list to die for. Their set spanned their career and I enjoyed every second of it. These two bands combined was a show I am so happy I attended and would attend again!

Panic! At The Disco was crazy-good! Brendon sings with such heart~gives his all to the audience-and the back flips off the top stage? Just wow! I love their music because it is fun and challenging to sing. I've always enjoyed concerts at this venue. He sang all of their big hits, although I would have loved to listen for another hour and caught "Nicotine" and "Sarah Smiles," and "Always," and... I'm not complaining though. Great set list! This was probably the most amazing show I've ever seen. The artists interacted with their audiences, the opener was amazing, and both of the main acts were unforgettable. Panic! At the Disco singer Brendon Urie blew us all away with his talent and amazing set list. Weezer had the weirdest backdrops but they flowed so well and honestly it was a show I'm never going to forget. The opening act was Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and he was absolutely phenomenal. Andrew walked through the crowd during a song all the way to the lawn seats and got them involved with one of those giant parachutes from our childhood. He was so engaging and kind, and it was a great way to start off the night. Overall the combination of set lists went together in a unique and wonderful way, and I would pay so much to see that show again.

I took my teen daughter and 3 friends. I was primarily motivated by a love for Panic! At the Disco, but ended up enjoying the 3 opening acts as well. In fact I have become an Andrew McMahon fan after seeing him live. I've never been a huge Weezer fan (sorry, I know that's an unpopular opinion) but it was ok. My only complaint is the lack of decent food. The only things available were snack bar type foods and I don't eat that stuff. It was a long time to go without food since you're not allowed to bring anything in to Stage AE. Truth be told I probably could have tucked a protein bar in my pocket and gotten away with it, but never having been there, and being warned I would be searched, I was afraid to.

I've been to many shows and concerts I hardly remember them all, but both artist made this concert memorable. After panic played their first song it was like the little girl in me came out and I cried my eyes out . I was seeing my favorite band for the past however years I've loved them. And then WEEZER. Omg weezer was amazing. Only time things weren't on point was when their equipment blew up, and they made that a million times better by playing songs slower and having small little guitar riffs of different artists music. It was really great to see both bands together. I am a musician and do a lot of recording and mixing so the sound quality is some thing I pay attention to. I thought that both bands could have slid the bass drum back a notch or two. With Weezer the bass guitar was over driving the sound system and created a distortion that layed on top of a lot of songs. It took away from hearing what he was really playing. I liked that Rivers went into the crowd to play a few acoustic songs and I liked the cover as well. I m 64 and have always loved the Turtles song they performed. All in all it was a great show.

Weezer & the Pixies were great together. I was very impressed that Weezer was so entertaining for a large crowd at KeyBank. I'm so glad I saw them perform there & not at a smaller venue. I loved the way they changed the stage sets a few times. They had confetti & fire shooting out & a shower of sparks. The crowd loved the wild covers they did too. Especially when Rivers Cuomo came out into the crowd on a scooter & did a few acoustic songs. I went to that show thinking it would be good, but it was one of the greats.

I had been looking forward to this show since I bought the tickets back in March. The band did not disappoint my excitement level of 4 months. The set list was amazing, they played a good assortment of their music for their now long career. The crowd was loving it, there were fans of all ages at the show that related to the music. Weezer has always been such an enjoyable group to listen too, the 3 guitar band rocked it in my estimation. Rivers voice was amazing, he did a few wardrobe changes right on stage which was cool, he sang a handful of songs on a B stage, including an acoustic version of my all time favorite Island in the Sun. Way to go boys, thanks for treating Cleveland Ohio to a memorable evening. Peace out!

Been a Pixies fan for decades and have loved Weezer since I first heard-- then immediately bought-- the Blue album. Couldn't miss this concert! Pixies sounded incredible and Weezer put on a truly awesome show! They were having fun the entire concert and so was the audience. It was an amazing experience. Definitely a highlight of this summer! Can't wait to catch them again!

Decided to upgrade to the pit at the very last minute, so thankful I did! Loved the stage design of Arnold s and the Garage! I m a huge weezer fan and had an incredible experience that I never will forget! Only negative was that I could not see Rivers when he went into the crowd on his scooter.

It was cool how rivers played for the people by the lawn area cuz it's far from stage. This place should be louder, but without raising PRICES!

Weezer was amazing, I was glad I got too see them in Chicago again. They played a lot of hits with a few surprises. The background sets were excellent and kept it interesting. Rivers even played a few sets in front of the lawn seats.... Pixies were ok, but I really didn't know much of their stuff. The first band, The Wombats did a really great job, and got the crowd into it.

The show was awesome. Even better than expected. Has to be the best tour out there. Rivers Cuomo and the gang have to be as moved as their fans are when the entire venue sings along with their songs. Beautiful music during an ugly time helps the all remember just how beautiful the world truly is. The only disappointment was my 5 year old son's favorite song is Back to the Shack for which he literally knows all the words to and it was not played. Troublemaker was not played either. Sure wish the guys would reconsider leaving these two songs off of the play list. Bottom line, scrape you change jar if you must but whatever you do don't miss this very moving concert. Totally Awesome.

One of the best venues to see a show. Pixies were amazing, getting better and better each year. 25 songs with plenty from Doolittle and Sufer Rosa. Dark, heavy, surfer style punk mixed with beautiful melodies and howling vocals. The reluctant rockstars were actually caught smiling between songs, having fun! Weezer were equally fun, hit after hit and a creative stage show that evolved during the set. The songs sounded fresh and as relevant as ever. Lots of families, kids and a very \u2018safe environment to expose the next generation to two of the most influential bands from the 90 s.

10/10 5 stars Pure gold! Rivers Cuomo makes your heart melt as he sings songs from 1994 to 2011. His lightening bolt strap, his horned rim glasses, and his neon yellow hard hat are staples that any weezer fan, big or small, must see atleast once. This was my 6th weezer show and I was NOT disappointed.

The concert was amazing. I can't wait till the next time weezer is in town. I want to listen to them again. The music is great. Weezer was so friendly and awesome. The only complaint I have was how quit the music was. It started off really soft and people were tellin louder. Towards the end it did get turned up, still not as loude as other concerts I have been to in this venue. I highly recommend them.

Took my son to the show. We both REALLY disliked the opening act. But Weezer was AMAZING! They opened with my son's favorite song, and closed with mine. Rivers really interacted with the crowd and his band. And the whole group has such a dynamic that you can't help but enjoy yourself. Would go again today if I could.

We decided to see both the Saturday night and Sunday night Weezer concert in Orlando. Thank heavens we decided to see both. Saturday night they played the Blue Album and Sunday night they played the Pinkerton album. The concert was set up like a time machine trip back to their early days. They played at least one song from each of their albums and even a couple of cool obscure B sides for the true diehards and then played the whole Pinkerton album. They had an intermission with a cool narrated picture slideshow which we appreciated while we waited for them to come back to play Pinkerton. I also think it noteworthy to mention that probably a good 20-25% of the crowd attended both concerts. Weezer did the same time machine concept for both shows, but played a completely different set for the first part of the show for each night. The only songs repeated were Memories (they led with that, of course, since it is the "Memories" tour) and Buddy Holly (an obvious crowd favorite and I certainly didn't mind hearing it both nights). They even had a completely different narrated picture slideshow during the intermission for both nights. All in all the concert was unbelievably awesome. If you're a Weezer fan, there's no way this night could disappoint you. And if there's any possible way you are able to see them play both albums, MAKE IT HAPPEN! You won't regret it!
