great stadium views - nestled between hills. great value - we had row 1, 50yd line seats! benches are ok - recommend renting the seat cushions. which they were spaced a tad more apart. concessions prices were low-moderate - selection could stand to be diversified home team fans were accommodating even though we were there supporting the visiting team

Row G55 is very far. So, forget about ever getting a T-shirt thrown to the audience, or any other free stuff. Section 18 is the Student Section and is located in a "corner" of the field, so, the view is not very good. The pros, it is the student section!!! Another pro is that the section is too high, that concessions and restrooms are almost exclusive for that zone.

we got to the game extra early to get good seats and where we were at people were standing..and they were standing on the bleachers. so my pregnant wife, who had to sit most of the game couldn't see anything. it was rude and we will not be returning to another UTEP football game.

I was starting to get bummed out in the game because I thought Miners weren't going to win but then we caught up and it was tied to the end until be scored a field goal and beat memphis by 3. Intense!

This staduim is just beautiful and everyone that has the chance to go to an event should at least have been there once. In addition this was a good football game with nice tailgaiting in front of the stadium, nice marching band and fireworks. I don't miss a single dollar paid for it!

Perspective

Great game! I am looking forward to the next one. It was pretty crowded so I am not really sure that I would like to recommend it and then not be able to get a seat in future games. The spectacle of tail-gating is amazing. The people gather well before the afternoon of the great game. They assemble on the campus of UTEP and later converge on the game at the stadium. Amazing!

Good game. UTEP showed up to play and it showed on the scoreboard. They need to keep playing that way if they want to go bowling at the end of the season. Well see how they do against Memphis this weekend.

Great venue to watch a football game. No bad seats. Only drawback is that the local fans are very fickle, they leave early if their team is losing or winning by too much.

The game was not that good, but I take my kids just to enjoy a night out of the house and away from electronic devices. Weather was great and so was the atmosphere. Would be nice to see the stadium full like years past, but I guess people only go if they are winning. To us it's just a family night out and we enjoy regardless of who wins.

The weather was hot, but the day was amazing. From the start to the finish. Attending an event with military families is always a pleasure. Everyone is happy and respectful. What more could you ask for? Even the Army team was humble.

This was a very fun experience, made even better by the fact the home team won. There was great comraderie among the fans, we were laughing and joking with our neighbors between plays. The stadium itself is very imprssive as it is built right into the mountain. Overall, I enjoyed myself immensely and I will be coming to more games in the future.

UTEP vs Rice was a great game. Good weather, good seats. My only complaint is there were not enough televised replays. The only replays shown were usually of when the Miners did something good. I would have like to see replays of flag penalties, Rice touchdowns, etc

The game was exciting and the seats were fine. However, I didn't have a printer to print my ticket and thought I'd take advantage of the Will Call box/window. This is to let you know this is a misnomer. I still had to stand in line with people buying tickets and it took much longer than if I'd bought my ticket at the gate. The young lady was very nice but she still had to enter the information in the computer more than once and it took about 8-10 minutes. Next time I'll just buy at the gate or make sure to print ticket beforehand.

Sun bowl is a clean, easy to access venue, once you get to the top. Make sure you know what side you are entering or you will do a lot of walking. Will call is easy to access and efficient in processing tickets.
