Most concerts lately, you go in and sit down and they play their hits and you sit there and remember the good ole days. Well not this one!! Everyone stood up and rocked the whole show! 3 encores, the guys were fandamtastic!! They didn t stop and talk alot and tell stories. They played their songs everyone wanted to hear and did it to perfection.

Good show, but seemed abit short. They could added about 2 or 3 more songs. Camera man could have showcase the beautiful drum set better.

I loved ZZ top at Intelos. Could have cut the bass volume a bit - my insides were pulsing. ZZ was as good or better than ever. Intelos is a great venue and we had a blast.

I love ZZ Top; however, I was very disappointed in the concert. I don't know if it was the ampitheather because this was our first time @ Ntelos, but the acoustics were horrible. Once ZZ Top finally did come out, we couldn't understand a thing they were saying and the music had terrible reverberation. Toward the end of the show it seemed to get better. The opening show was too long. It took way too long between acts, then ZZ Top didn't play much longer than the opener. I'd love to have heard more of their most popular songs.

I thought the set list was great. The band pulled out some covers i had never heard. If anything the show was too short. i'm not certain that Billy G. was a little under the weather that evening. Glad to have seen them again and first time for my wife. Spent time on the hill also; which was a different perspective and the sound was equal to what we heard at the reserved seats. Four stars only because I thought it was a little short.

I have seen the top of several occasions and i loved it however i will not pay to see them again I love the music but their age has completely caught up with them the music is still great but the stage show and excitement is totally gone. Buy the cd's if you want to support them. The stage show is a TOTAL FLOP.

The show was pretty much what one would expect from the long time Texas rockers. They played a good combination of their hits from throughout their career and the sound was good. The only problem I have is that these guys pretty much are on cruise control---no emotion, no moving around on the stage, no variations from their last concert in this area or the one before. Very little interacting with the crowd. The songs are exactly the same in length. But, again, this is what one has come to expect with these guys, kind of a drone-like performance. Oh, by the way, no encore either. That always upsets me when a group does this because I interpret it as a "too big for their britches" type of mentality. They pretty much come and play what they play, then leave. The people I talked to seemed to be satisfied with the show, though. But a little too much "cruise control" for me. Shows are too expensive these days and performers ought to play like they appreciate your dollars spent on them.

The location of the concert was excllent and the sound was perfect! ZZ Top put on a superb show for family and more.

After seeing "The Bad Boys From Texas" at Ntelos Pavilion in Portsmouth, all I can say is "Aerosmith, watch your ass!!!" On this evening, the best "Chin Hair Band" in the world was on top of their game. They tore thru all their hits with such ferocious energy, it appeared that they were trying to make a statement. "Youngbloods", this is how it's done! They were the headliners on this night(as well they should be) and illustrated why they rank in a class all by themselves. Sound clarity, meticulous attention to faithful presentation of their music, their patented, synchonized stage moves, the whole nine yards! Perfect! I've been attending concerts for 40 years and have seen everyone from The Who, Led Zeppelin, Clapton, Santana, The Eagles, Pearl Jam and Metallica to all the newer bands like Linkin Park, Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Seether, Staind, Saliva and Nickelback and I can unequivocably state that this was one of the most exciting, entertaining concert events I have had the pleasue of being part of in years! ZZ Top ROCKS!!!!!!

These guys were awesome. Old as rocks, but still badass as ever. The one thing that could've been better was the sound from the speakers in the back. There was a slight delay. I had a lawn seat, that's why it bothered me. But other than that, awesome concert.

Although we like down in the pit to get close to the artists for pictures, if on the back half of the pit and everyone stands the entire time makes it hard to see.future tickets will be outside of the pit.

It was a great Venue and a Buzzing Concert. It was super Cool to see them perform. Knowing how to be "Too Cool for Comfort" epitomizes ZZ Top. Definitely it brings it all back. There were just so many Classic songs to past through the decades in this timeless music.

ZZ Top was great! The venue was good.. parking and traffic weren't too bad.. good time!!

This was my 3rd Time seeing ZZ Top in Concert. I always enjoy them and their music. They give you your moneys worth in each and every concert they do. I hope they come back to Davenport soon.

Great concert..but only 90 minutes. Sound like the albums.

Opening Night - Parking was adequate, convenient and for the opening night, it was Free. Staff- from the first greeting of a parking attendant to door folks, security and concession workers - TOPS. All were super friendly and willing to help. Venue - very nice venue. Of course, construction has a bit to go before it is 100% complete, but there was no part of construction work that was truly visible, nothing to walk around, etc. I truly appreciate the Big Ass fans that are installed - 5 in the music portion that we were in, so when needed a lot of air can be moved and done so in a super quiet manner. Even with HVAC, adding the Big Ass Fans will be a super fan appreciation over the years. ~~~ The Only downside for the night, opening or not, I've not been to any sort of concert in maybe 20 years, where HEAVY E-cigs were in use, like right next to us, as well as multiple rows in our center section. E-cigs along with the musicians open and actively taking long drags from their real cigs. The add to that the wacky-backy, purple haze from various locations ... suffice it was a time warp throwback some 30 years in reverse.

First concert in new venue, free parking and lots of excitement!

What can you say about ZZ Top that hasn't already been said about their place in rock 'n roll history? The performance by the "Texas Trio" started strong and continued that way throughout the show. Every hit that the group (all original members still performing) has ever had was included in the play list and the subsequent encores. Additionally, a few non-Top hits were incorporated into the show; of particular note was the inclusion of "Act Naturally" and "Foxy Lady." As expected, Billy Gibbons' was stellar on lead guitar as he played every classic rift with enthusiasm and in typical ZZ style.

They still sound and preform like they always did. Got the Meet and Greet package and got to meet them after the show. The only problem was event security. We were on the isle in the 2nd row. People keep coming down the isle to get pictures and stayed by the fence of the stage and security did nothing to them. I was bumped into quite a few times.

I've wanted to see ZZ Top for years and I was definitely not disappointed. Great show. They sounded great and even though they're getting older they still put on a great stage presence. I had great seats and

We are not regular concert goers and it takes something special to get us out. ZZ Top was all we could have expected and more. We met some incredible fans waiting for things to get going. They brought out the Eliminator for folks to see and take pictures with. The crowd was a little gray as we are, but we were rock'in and having a great time. Dusty had a note on the Bass that you could feel in your chest. You have to be there to experience that. So glad this is one of the concerts we elected to go to.

First time I've seen them in concert and I would say it was the best Concert experience I've ever had. Wasn't super crowded and was able to see and hear them from our seats.

The sound at the Robinson Auditorium is impeccable. You can tell those 3 have been performing together for a while!

I had a great time at this show. ZZ Top played awesome classic songs. So I enjoyed their performance but, the sound wasn't good, very little gear, I counted just few towers of speakers hanging from the ceiling in the arena. Lighting system was very low key. I was expecting an awesome musical performance and a great visual appealing show but it's not that. If you like a very basic show then you will be happy.

Over all it was a great show, the sharks were great too. Would definitely buy tickets to a zz top concert again.

ZZ Top was good as always with classic blues rock. Dennis Quade was also good and performed a nice tribute to the doors. I felt the meet and greet was quite short. didn't take many questions. 4-5 min only. then pics and done. Set with Aerosmith a couple yrs ago and we talked for 45 min. vocal sound in front was poor. couldn't hear them.

My husband and I enjoyed a get away weekend, with seeing ZZ Top at the top of our list. We were not disappointed! They performed an hour and a half. Great guitar performances and overall show! Would definitely recommend.

These guys wrote the book on COOL. They prove "COOL" has no age limit. Sound exactly as expected. Billy...what can one say...Dusty...great pipes!

I've never been to a bad performance by ZZ TOP in the forty-five years of seeing their shows. That's got to be a record!

What can I say? ZZ Top's performance was superb, with intimate (for them) sized venue and fantastic acoustics /sound engineering. Ninety minutes of almost non-stop of both new and old material along with some excursions into other music genre's along the way. The Majestic Theatre never disappoints, being almost as flashy as the band. Comfortable seating withrelatively comfortable seat spacing made it a pleasure to be there.

Very entertaining guys. The song selection was great. The sound in that theatre was perfect.

We had a great time the speakers didn't work where we were sitting on section 101 for about 30 min after zztop came on but they got it fixed.

ZZ Top was fun. I wish their set was longer and included a few more songs, but we had a blast, they were cool, we actually enjoyed the opening act (Tim Montana), and that s what matters. ZZ Top s 2018 performance can t compare to their 1975 performance, but I can t compare MY 2018 self to my 1975 self either!! I would gladly do this again. I do wish, however, that the concession prices were not so high!

Awesome venue. Just the right size. ZZTOP as expected, rocking.

ZZ Top used a very good group as a warm up band in Tim Montana. He is very talented but talks too much. ZZ Top came on and played their hits. Great music from a band consisting of only three members. Their music blew you away. Their set was very short. Only an hour before on cores. A great group.

I ve seen them a couple years ago, but my boyfriend hasn t so I took him. Nice venue, small & intimate. We didn t realize how close we were in the 5th row to the left. Great show. Definately going back.

These guys were just as good as when we saw them a few years ago. Their performance coupled with this awesome venue made it worth the trip!! Their final encore of Viva Las Vegas, wearing Golden Knights jerseys was stellar!

Was able to bring in decent camera. Front row balcony seats were great - knees had room. Pretty theatre. ZZTop still rocks! Fantastic sound & musicianship.

I bought ticket early on and got front row seating with the meet and greet. The Monday before the Wednesday night show, I got an informative email about the who, what, where and how for the meet and greet check-in. I picked up my ticket early afternoon at the Venetian Theater box-office. Great guy there provided my ticket and sorry I did not get his name. At 7 pm the meet and greet VIP table was open for business. Delightful young lady checked me in and gave me all the verbal info for the post show meet and greet. She was the photographer as well. Again, sorry did not get her name. The show was GREAT. Billy, Dusty and Frank were in top form and kept the show going for over an hour and half playing the best of the best and actually added pearl necklace to the set list - the lady to my right and left really got into the show and Dusty and Billy appreciated their moves. The Boys still got the hands to perform at peak levels and the eye for the fans. Q and A was brief but I could tell they were bushed. Poor Dusty wore a wrist compression stocking on his left wrist and forearm - RA gets us all. Thankfully they are still on the road for us die hard fans. Long live ZZTop.

Great show from the guys - still rocking hard after 49 years..... Very polished performance with all the favourites, The sound and energy was awesome. Dusty finished the night with an extra Elvis number - Jailhouse Rock. I want to watch it all over again......

I had an amazing time at ZZ Tops concert on Wednesday April 25th! Being that I had the best seat in the house, front row center didnt hurt either! They sounded and looked great and really havent changed much in the last 30 years of their 49 year career! They played all the hits including "Legs" "Gimme All Your Lovin'" "La Grange" "Tush" "Sharp Dressed Man" "My Head's in Mississippi" "Pearl Necklace" and many others and closed the show with Elvis Presley's "Viva Las Vegas" and "Jailhouse Rock"! A totally fantastic evening of great Classic Rock from that "Lil Old Band from Texas"!!!

The ZZ Top concert at The Venetian in Las Vegas April 25, 2018 was outstanding. As a long time fan of the Texas trio, I highly recommend others to experience a ZZ Top concert in the very near future.

This was my third time seeing ZZ Top and they still stand up as a solid rock act. I thought the first 5 or so songs were a little to much like their records but after that they kicked it up and started sounding like a live rock band

ZZ Top has still got it! This is about the fifth time we ve seen this trio of artists and I would go again. Great show, cool guitars, and the Venetian was an awesome smaller venue.

This was my third time to see ZZTop in concert and they never disappoint! Billy is so very engaging with the audience and he makes you feel as if he is playing directly to you! The old songs are a walk down memory lane and the group plays to the crowd with such passion! I didn t hear much interaction from Dusty this time but his voice was totally on point! I cannot fault the performance at all but would have liked to have heard a solo from the drummer......who is just incredible! My advice to all is to add ZZTOP to your bucket list while you can. They will take you back in time and make you feel young again! They are true Texas entertainers! Long may they live!

ZZ Top never fails to put on a great show, but as always way too short. Not even an hour and a half, but that's pretty much how they roll.

1 1/2 hours of basically a greatest hits show. Billy Gibbons did seem to mess up several times, but quickly played himself into the right key. Only complaint was not enough volume. Turn it up to 11. Now, rightfully so, the audience was a mix of 20 some to seventy some (and beyond lol). Glad wife and I went and seen them,,even with the pink fuzzy guitars --guess which song. Lol. Go see them and just try to not think about the iconic videos. Uh huh huh huh,,,

This was the perfect intimate setting to see and hear some of the best quality rock music of all time. It s a must see experience.

I m a huge ZZ Top fan. Never saw them live until October 6, 2017 at Harrah s Casino Resort Cherokee NC. It was one of the most badass concerts I ve ever been to. They put on a great show. Billy Gibbons had the most amazing live guitar tone I ve ever experienced. Billy, Dusty and Frank are still rocking after more than 50 years. They are the longest running Blues Rock band in history with all its original members. Harrah s Casino Resort was a great venue to have it at. I have no complaints.

Zztop was awesome saw them there 2 years in a row. The whole show was great great place to see a show. I did a meet and greet with them last year it was awesome got to take picture with Zztop. Very exciting. Thanks for all the great music Zztop.

We had a wonderful time. Music was awesome. We had never been to the Rose Music Center before. Great seats. The only thing they need to do is put up some kind of screens on the sides to block the sun in the venue.

I was sitting in the second row for this so I had a pretty good view of the boys at work.The show went off without a hitch on a VERY minimalistic stage. Pink and green amps blazing the boys put on a very professional show. The sound was fantastic...a real pleasure to watch.

Have always wanted to see ZZ Top and they didn't disappoint. Had a blast and loved every moment of the show!!

Have seen ZZ Top many times over the years and they still got it.

90 minutes and 2 encores of nonstop ZZ style music!! Never sounded better, leaves you wanting more! Can't wait until next season.

Great concert and Beautiful Tennessee Theater! What a show! Still Rocking ZZ Top!

Man, we was rockin' last night! Opening song was "Pressure", they went through all their giant hits "Gimme All Your Loving", "Sharp Dressed Man", "She Got Legs", "La Grange", "I Gots to Get Paid", and many more. Finale encore was "Jailhouse Rock"! ZZ Top was at top of their game. They commented they have been coming to play for us in So.Fla. for over 4 decades. Thank you, gentlemen.

ZZ Top is like fine wine, only gets better with time. Show was great (along with the 2 blown breakers~could have been the Municipal Auditorium ghosts?) Goodbye June busted their tails from the moment they walked on stage til they left. My only complaint was the venue seating. Seating #'s were either gone or very hard to read on the back of the chairs, was very hard for people (even venue workers) to find their seats. This was on the floor seating. Easy remedy, paint the #'s big on the backs of the chairs. Seating was too close together and chairs were a bit uncomfortable. But that gripe aside, really enjoyable night! ZZ wasn't that loud, but it was a good volume for you could hear everything. Bringing Mr. James Burton out to jam on Jailhouse Rock was a mighty fine treat!

I've been listening to ZZ Top from the beginning but this is the first time I saw them in person. What a great show. My wife took some amazing pictures right at the stage. To think it's the original band I hope they keep It up for years to come.

From the first note to the last ZZ Top was on top of their game! Band hasn't faded, just as talented as years ago. Kept us on our feet singing along dancing to the beat.

They put on a great concert. Always amazed at the guitar skills.

ZZ Top honors us in Birmingham, Alabama with another fantastic, sold out show. I have seen them here before and they always give us a fabulous night. Billy, Dusty and Frank ran thru every song you wanted to hear and had fun doing it. I brought my 16 yo son and his friend from high school and they loved every minute. Just came back from Desert Trip last week and ZZ Top would have given those" English" guys a run for their money. I got some fantastic photos too! We went to the meet and great after the show and got a great photo with the band. I really appreciate that such a famous band would take the time to do a "Meet and Greet" for the fans. That is a terrific way to acknowledge and thank your fans! I go to many concerts here and rarely do I see an audience stand for an entire show. They did it for ZZ Top! No one sat down for the whole show! Great crowd too. Keep coming back fellows ---- we love you guys. PS: always play at the BJCC "Concert Hall" or the "Alabama Theater". They are the two best venues in Alabama!!!

I first saw ZZ Top in 1983 on their Eliminator tour and 33 years later was just as great!

I'll start with - I Love ZZ Top! I've been a fan since the very early days and have seen them many times, had meet-n-greet and just generally think they are great. They are hard rocking and play many of the great hits that have made them famous. However, time takes it's toll. This performance was very short, lasting just at an hour as opposed to previous experiences way over two. The sounds were great but some of the energy was lacking. The venue sound was not great either. So, bottom line... see them while you can and give them lots of love!

ZZ Top was great performers that excited me and the audience. Great location for wonderful music. Plenty of refreshments and easy access.

Had a great time. Really enjoyed Keney with the exception of the guy behind us who wouldn't shout up throughout his whole performance. He needed a muzzle. lol. ZZ Top was the best. Took my husband to celebrate our 37th anniversary. He's been a fan since 1975. We met some great people too.

Started at 9 PM ended at 10:20 PM, Hour and 20 minutes, one small break (about 10 minutes) to change jackets played 3 more songs, left stage, and never said goodnight or anything. With their Library of songs and price of tickets, thought we were short-changed.

Of COURSE ZZ was INCREDIBLE! I just wish that there was a section that people would actually get up and DANCE instead of sit in their chairs and complain like old people. I'm not 20 years old anymore (or 30 or even 40), but while I'm in my 50's I'm not "old" and STILL ROCK OUT! if you want to sit on your old ass during a concert, sit in the upper sections and leave the floor sections to those of us that aren't dead yet. THAT'S WHAT REDBULL and ALEVE ARE FOR! The ONLY time that everybody was on their feet was at the very end of the concert. ZZ TOTALLY ROCKED IT!

The Pearl at the Palms Casino in sunny Las Vegas is a perfect place to see these three hombres from Texas! From start to the end of their 2nd encore ZZ Top kept the audience involved and did not disappoint. EVERYTHING you wanted to hear, you heard and with the same enthusiasm I heard when I saw them 33 years ago. Great to see three guys stay together all this time and still have fun while entertaining the crowd. IF this little band from Texas comes anywhere near your town; do yourself a favor and go see them!!! Cheers

Don't get no better Perfect venue for the perfect band

This concert was awesome. The venue is amazing. A super clean resort with the most amazing grounds. We had an amazing time and absolutely loved ZZTop, Shelter Island and San Diego. One thing most folks noticed though was the music wasn't nearly loud enough. Several surrounding guests made this comment.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd was first time for our group. He put on a great show. ZZ Top seemed to have some sound difficulties and vocals could have been better. It seemed the sound was louder then the vocals. ZZ Top did several encores. The crowd really seemed to come to life at the end of the show. Music was clearer then too. Note to those going late in the season... It gets cold at Iron Stone, so bring a blanket just in case. Temps got a bit cold at 10 PM.

KWS put on an outstanding performance. There sound was mixed well and in my opinion excellent for an outdoor venue. His energy is incredible to watch. ZZ Top I have seen three times over 40 yrs, 1976, 1990, and this venue. Unbelievable that these three are still as active as they were in 1976! Seriously the showmanship is unmatched. Their song selection and mix was excellent. Billy Gibbons dialog and flair being his short but direct self was so refreshing. The sound for ZZ Top in my opinion was muddy and poorly mixed. When Billy was on mic his lyrics were awful, Dusty Hill seemed to have the better mic. Frank Beard was exceptional as always on drums and smooth as silk in his transitions. I really didn't understand why the sound was so bad. Ironstone must designate an area for spectators to dance, making small areas with barricades was a joke as the dancers would spill out into the line of sight for those seated. It was awesome watching the dancing, quite entertaining but putting the area in front of the seating area is absurd. I want to see the stage and everyone on it then if I want to watch the big screen I can. But the big screen only showed solos, as it should, I enjoy the inner action between Hill and Gibbons, it's part of the show. So the band's were 5 star, the sound was awful 2 stars, and the arena organization was terrible 2 stars. Beautiful setting but poorly run.

Kenny Wayne Shepard is a fantastic guitar player and the lead singer was great. ZZ Top are great entertainers. Really enjoyed the show start to finish.

Great concert after the singers' microphones were adjusted . . . . . Could not hear them at first. Prob. took 3 - 4 songs to get the sound adjusted . . . . They got more coordinated and sounded better as the concert moved along.
