The acts from the 60's are now all in their 60's or 70's and still performing like it was yesterday. The Cowsills came out full of energy and sung all their hits, followed by Mark Lindsey from Paul Revere and the Raiders (my favorite). The Association and Chuck Negron from Three Dog Night all put on a good show. But it was The Turtles that made the night and a all star jam at the end with the whole cast and audience singing Happy Together and we were all happy together.

Found perfect ticket at the center and 5 or so rows back from the stage, and a great price. Great venue this concert out did my expectations. All of the acts were awesome and the crowd loved the show by dancing and singing to all the hits! One more to check off my bucket list.

It's unreal how seeing these same groups year after year doesn't get old. Love how they can go from 1 group to another so quickly. Hopefully Howard Kaylan will make it for the 10th Anniversary Shows. Only complaint I have is with Pacific Amphitheater limiting ticket sales for the best seats to 2. Four of us have attended 4 years in a row now and to buy tickets together we have to purchase tickets at same price a few rows back and not get VIP parking.

I love the old music groups from the 60's and 70's. The Happy Together Tour, lead by Flo & Eddie, has been doing this type of tour with differant bands for many years (over 25?). It is always a treat to be entertained by these bands. The music, as always, was very good. I thought Mark Linsay was on top of his game and did a great job. The Association did a nice job with there timeless songs. Buckinghams also were good and led the array of groups. The Grass Roots were without Bob Grill due to illness by where he was hospitalized in Florida. The back-up signer acknowledge Bob's situation and ask that we say a prayer for a speedy recovery. Both Flo and Eddie have made their act very entertaining and not solely about the songs. The change time between groups was short and there was only one intermission. The show lasted approx 2.5 hours. The Happy Together Tour is always an enjoyable show, one that you can take the whole family to. Looking forward to future shows

The two least known groups were the two that were most satisfying --the Buckiinghams and Mark Lindsey of the Raiders. I exected t be disappointed by Mark Linsdey, but instead was floored by his energy and good, old rock and roll. The Raideirs had many great hits --not often heard today on the radio-- that sounded surprisingly edgy and current. The Buckinghams surprised me too. The two originals were youthful, and their voices sounded as good (or better) than their records. Yes, the Turtles were great, and the Association sang their hits (but struggled a bit --could have used one more good voice). And the Grass Roots sounded good even without their lead. But I counted the surprises as the best.

This is my first time being able to see this show. I grew up with all these groups. Songs remind me of when I was in Jr. High, favorite boyfriend and the best music ever. The only thing I did not like was the lighting. Too dark/blue. My pictures did not come out very well. But I would go again to see this show.

The Happy Together Tour was a fun concert with a lot awesome groups. I am 58 years old and grew up on this music. The band lineup included The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie (songs are: Elenor, Eve of Destruction & Happy Together) The Association (songs are: Windy, Along Comes Mary & Cherish), Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night (songs are: Eli's Coming, Joy to the World and One), The Box Tops (Songs are: The Letter, Cry like a Baby and Soul Deep) The Cowsills (Songs are: Hair, Indian Lake and Love American Style), and The Archies staring Ron Dante (Sugar/ Sugar, Bang Shang a Lang and Jingle Jangle). They all sang 4 songs and it was a 2 hour awesome concert. Loved hearing all this memorable music.

You expect each act to sing their greatest hits, of course, but you also got to hear quick stories about some of the songs, and see old photos and video clips on the screen behind them showing what they looked like "back in the day." Overall it was very good. Of course we always want more from some of the performers, but for reality and time sake, they are great. The Turtles could have played another couple of songs instead of just repeating some of the hits already performed by and with the other performers of the night. I highly recommend this show for a lot of fun and nostalgic music. Some of the performers mingled with the public after the show, which I found very refreshing, even though I do realize they do it for themselves too. See this show and you will leave with a smile on your face.

When I heard those the lost songs, they reminded my good old days. I used to listen those from FM radio in Korea with my elder brother who were more exposed to western pop culture. Back then, I never knew what those English song meant. I can't believe that I heard the songs live, met the original people. My wife knew the most of the songs also. The audiences were all my age or older, we sang along from the beginning till the end. It was jam packed sold out show at Penn's Peak. After the show, Bob, Paul and Susan Cowsill came out to the audiences, took photos and signed on their memorabilia. They signed on my old Cowsills LP jacket. Susan wrote "I love the flower girl" on my request. Inside the gatefold jacket, there is a photo of Cowsill family on breakfast table. Susan said the one showing the back of head was her, she signed on it too. Rick of Box Tops happened to be there and he shook my hand. What a memorable summer night it was!

A nostalgic blast from the Sixties. The show started out with Spencer Davis playing such hits as Keep On Running and I'm a Man . Next The Cowsills played their hits ie Love American Style and Hair. Then GaryPuckett. Mark Lindsay (Paul Revere and the Raiders lead singer. Then Chuck Negron of 3 Dog Night performed several of their hits. Finally the Turtles ie Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan were comedic and Melodic. I hope they come back to Thunder Valley next year !!!

I know I'm getting older but half of these entertainers shouldn't have taken my money. Spencer Davis, Gary Puckett, and Flo and Eddy need to face it and quit touring. The songs were great of course. That's what I came to hear. But it's painful to have my memories of these groups tainted this way. Mark Lindsey and Chuck Negron held their own. The Cowsills were the highlight of the evening. They can still harmonize and are fun to watch. The musicians were adequate and remained on stage for all the groups. Humphreys is a great venue. The concert should have started a little later than 6:30pm because the sun was in the audience's eyes for the first 60 minutes.

The 2016 Happy Together Tour rocked Lynn on June 25th! Billy J. Kramer from The Dakotas, The Cowsills, Gary Puckett from Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, Mark Lindsay from Paul Revere & The Raiders, Chuck Negron from Three Dog Night, and Flo & Eddie from The Turtles took us back in time by performing their biggest hits! The Cowsills NEVER disappoint - their energy, sibling banter and beautiful voices are even better on this, their 2nd year on the tour. Other highlights included Gary Puckett's "Lady Willpower", Mark Lindsay's "Indian Reservation" & "Kicks", and Chuck Negron's "Joy to the World".

I attend this show every year for the sheer energy and joy it brings! Different groups, different years, and yes, I do have my favorites. But every act puts their all into giving a great performance, so even if my favorite group isn't there, those that are become favorites, too. The venue is just the perfect size and the only thing I wish they had was a meet and greet. I pay more here than I do in other venues where the meet and greet is available.

'Plus'es... being a Control Freak pays off. Went up two days early to scope out the Peabody, a venue I've never been to. Obtained physical Ticketmaster tickets in-hand and noted potential parking. In light of the Paris attacks was somewhat concerned about potential security issues... seats we'd gotten offered better sight lines than the seating chart had shown. Night of the performance, audience was jovial and clearly ALL of us, including the Artists were both feeling and showing our age. 'Minus'es... overall stage presence seemed somewhat 'threadbare', the Tech on the show's soundboard needs FIRED. For the first three artist's the ambient sound system registered kinda of flat and 'muddy'... it DID get marginally better. 'SOUND CHECKS' people! These artists deserved BETTER! ...WE deserved better! Ye Gods!.... It's a friggin CONCERT Hall! --- When in our youth, concerts were for the thrill of hearing favorite licks played live and with sparkling ...fresh intense energy... THIS concert was a commemoration and shared love-fest tribute...to those recently-departed band members who's artistry provided the soundtracks to our lives... a chance to 'share the love', ...reminisce and to sing beloved anthems WITH the ACTUAL originating Performers, (WHILE we STILL have them).

I always like the Happy Together Tour and they usually stop at the Iowa State Fair but not this year so my friends and I traveled to the Missouri State Fair to see the concert. It was a lot of fun as each of the six bands are on stage playing some of their greatest hits and it's like traveling back in time when you hear them. The Cowsills and the Buckinghams were new to the tour and they both performed great. All of the bands share stories about the past and just a lot of fun. Yes they are older, but so am I. The tickets are reasonably priced and it is a great way to remember the fun times you had growing up. So go see them!

I am a big fan of The Cowsills so I had to see them on the 2015 Happy Together Tour. I am Gen X, so while I have listened to this great music on the radio I was not familiar with these bands. The level of energy of each band was infectious! Their voices were as strong as they were back in the day. Some multi act shows have strong and weak performances. No one on this tour is a weak link. These bands brought these classics to life in a feel good party that was timeless. Many might think of this as a golden oldies show, but even for a GenXer, listening to the classics sung by the original artists with great energy and sound is a gift of a lifetime.

This was not the first time we've seen the Happy Together Tour and once again, the line-up didn't disappoint... outside of the "Headliner" set being far too short - - and then the Turtles didn't even sing the entire song that the concert is named after (it appeared to be an abbreviated version after they had called out the rest of the "cast" to recap their tunes) - much to the disappointment of my kids who were very familiar with that particular song. Other than that minor complaint, the show was, as always, great fun. These performers can still bring it - - and sound awesome ! We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back next year for more.

Going to see the Happy Together tour brought me back to a time I had long forgotten. It wax an amazing experience to relive the music of the 60's and early 70's. The groups chosen, but one stood out from the others and they are The Cowsills. I only wish they played more then 4 songs each but I understand the time constraints. I highly recommend seeing the Happy Together tour as you'll know all the songs and experience an unbelievable evening of great music from the past that changed the lives of many people.

My husband and I enjoy going to concerts immensely. We decided to go to this concert as we enjoyed all the music from these groups and the price was great. The venue was very good (we'd been there many times) and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The Buckinghams were fresh and enjoyable. The Cowsills were the best band of the event with the music reproduced well and the connection with the audience was grand . The Association was fine (lots of difficult harmonies). I was disappointed with The Grass Roots as their lead singer died years ago. It is very hard to enjoy a group when the singer isn't the same. It was worse than a cover band. Mark Lindsey is older than dirt and had the best energy and voice of the evening. The biggest disappointment was The Turtles (Flo and Eddie) as they were lack-luster. They went through the motions and didn't even really sing, instead nanny-nannied the lyrics. Poor way to end the concert.

This concert was awesome! Each Artist had enough time to only do their hits. This cut out any filler songs that you never heard before. Huge plus. When Flo and Eddie aka the Turtles came out, they had the crowd laughing out of their seats. When they sang their hits, they sounded really good. The Associations were very professional and a class act. The Cowsills were extremely funny and played well off of each other. They were originally my least favorite groups to see and turned out amazing me. Of course the acts I wanted to see were great. Bucking jams with Kind of a Drag, Grassroots with Midnight Confession. I would go again! Ps- the backup band that supported all of the acts were huge talent. Excellent instrument work and even better back up vocals and harmony.

The "Happy Together" concert at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville brought back wonderful memories from the times as I grew up with the Turtles, the Cowsills, Paul Revere and the Raiders, the Buckinghams, the Association and the Grass Roots. Each of the surviving members of these groups who performed last Tuesday night were in superb form. I suppose with up to 50 years of experience at singing, playing their instruments and performing in front of an audience, they each should be an expert...and they were. Two of my favorite songs of all time are: "Kicks," by the Raiders (Mark Lindsey, the lead singer) and "The Rain, The Park and Other Things" by the Cowsills. Those songs were there....took me right back to the first time I heard them. All of the harmonies were top-notch. It was a well-spent three hours. I recommend it to everyone 50 and older...and everyone 50 or younger. By the way, the back-up band and singers were every bit as great as their older front men (and woman...pretty little Susan Cowsill).

Playing in a band in the 60's....tapping my foot and clapping but the sound went to pot after the third act...need a new sound man as the sound popped, the guitars and drums were louder than the singers and bless their hearts...you can change key to match your voice after 50 years it does change and you can't sing in the original key...I know I can't sing period but I recognize straining your voice to reach something that all you have to do is change keys and it'll sound ok...all in all good, not great....but I'm spoiled as we have tried to see all of the original groups from the 50's and 60's and so far have....this was a good show, but the band really needs to work somethings out(cover band)....all all the groups we've seen and I'm serious about this...the Bronx Wanderers is the best group we have ever heard...and I mean that...they cover a song better than the original artists and you want to get up and dance in the isle to every song they play...folks when they come back in April of 2016...grab you a ticket and prepare to see the best rock and roll 50's-60's show you will ever ever see...and that's a fact Jack...Ye Olde Coach

Saw The Happy Together Tour previously, and it just keeps getting better! The place started off rocking with the Grassroots!! Fabulous music!! Terrific band!! It was WONDERFUL hearing The Association, Mark Lindsay... and to end with The Turtles, oh my!! It was simply so much fun that I didn't want the evening to end!

The Happy Together tour was a fun time, with a mix of 60s and 70s pop and rock standards. Each artist only had about five songs, and one of the five planned performers was not able to attend our show, so it was overall a little short. It's understandable since these guys are all over 50 years old, so I would probably only consider going again if there were more performers to be worth the ticket price. We did win some backstage passes and got to take pictures with the guys, but obviously not everyone would be able to have the same experience.

Saw the HTT last year with a slightly different line up. This one was great. Especially enjoyed the addition of Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad fame. A full show of all familiar tunes and the venue was a nice outdoor intimate setting so most all the seats were a great view of the stage. I would see this one again.

He have been to a couple of these and this one was just as good as the others -- very good. If you like music from the 60's and 70's this is a good show to see. Here is my rating C+ = The Turtles - Happy Together B = Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night - Joy To The World A = Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad - We re an American Band B = Mitch Rider & The Detroit Wheels - Devil with a Blue Dress B- = Gary Lewis & The Playboys - This Diamond Ring

I was so looking forward to this show, I went last year by myself and this year my wife decided that she would go with me. I'm already looking forward to next year! Where else can you go to see 5 of the most influential music makers from your Teens for $40.00. It was high energy Sixties Music all over again with a little comedy thrown in between songs. Gary Lewis, Mitch Ryder, Mark Farner, Chuck Negron and the Host Band of Flo & Eddie..AKA The Turtles really know how to entertain. Albeit that they are in their late sixties and early seventies themselves they still sound great. You have to Tip your hat to Godfrey Townsend whose Band and back up vocals carried out the original bands drums, keyboards and guitars with precision.

Debbie and I could not believe the awesome seats we scored. The show was great from start to Finish. I last say Mitch Ryder in concert 1967 actually my first concert when I was 15. So many memories and so much fun, if you get the chance do not miss any of these outstanding performers.

It was a great show. The headliners played and/or sang every song you would have wanted to hear. The memories it brought back were tasty! I was a huge fan of Paul Revere and the Raiders, back in the day. To hear Mark Lindsay singing "Kicks" and "Hungry" would have been enough for me. Each headliner sang their biggest hits for us. Although they may not have all been able to hit the high notes like they used to, they all sang with feeling, They all seemed to have a great time. Two other special mentions: Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night) was awesome. He seemed to experience such pleasure at the audience's response; Howard Kaylan (Eddie of Flo & Eddie/The Turtles) has a really good voice. I don't know why I was surprised. He sang lead on all of their top hits. The highlight of the show for my wife was The Turtles performing "You Showed Me." The format is excellent. One band playing for all of the headliners. No time lost setting up between acts.

It was an all time feel good party for me. The Acts, as much of a reminder of my age now, were still wonderful and took me back to my youth. Cant ask for more than that. This tour spends the time on the songs that you wanna hear. Not some obscure cut from an album that never got airplay. The energy is what kept it all going and the audience was there for all the same reasons that I was there. A great time. We were all truly Happy Together.

This is the 3rd time of seeing the Happy Together tour and this was one was the best. Chuck Negron for being 75 years young was amazing. The Associations were fantastic. Ron Dante who filled in for one of the Turtles was great! He made the closing of the show so much better. His voice was great and I loved it when he sang his hit Archie song "Sugar Sugar" made me feel like a tween again :) Can't wait for next year when Happy Together tour celebrates their 10 year anniversary.

No matter what your age, the idea of Cowsills, Mark Lindsay, the Association, Gary Puckett, Chuck Negron and the Turtles all in one evening playing most of your favorites and many of their biggest hits is mind blowingly staggering. At the point when Gary Puckett came out, I realized that if I took three steps I could actually be on stage with him but at the same time, I also realized that I did want to see the rest of the show :-). What would I change. I d swap joy to the world for the show must go on but other than that, it was a perfect evening for me. They ve been doing this for nine years which was a surprise to me. I would go see it again and if you haven t seen them, I highly recommend that you get tickets very soon.

This is the best show ever. We come to the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, Ca. every year to see this show, and it just keeps getting better and better every year. I would recommend this show to everyone who enjoyed the music of the '60's. We were all a bunch of old farts there, but even some people with canes were standing up and dancing. It was a wonderful site.

This concert was one of the best that I have been to! Talk about a walk down memory lane, however their voices are just as strong as back in the day! And the energy.. amazing! I am already planning to track this down for 2019! This tour represent's how true performers should entertain the fan's.

The Happy together concert was great. The only disappointment is only one of the Turtles performed. The other member of the group is unable to travel. From now on it may just be the Turtle. Ron Dante who sang with the Archies back in the 1960's replaced the missing member of the Turtles and also sang the Archies hit Sugar Sugar. I guess when you see older groups you have to expect issues.

The show provided a fun evening with a lineup of performers that were new and different than other "Oldies" shows offer. I am a big Turtles fan and was disappointed that Howard Kalan was ill and could not tour this year, but his sub the Archies lead singer did a great job.

A celebration of the greatest era of rock and roll and it comes across that way! The concert started on time, the acts were personable, the sound was great and the hits memorable. If you are a child of the 60-70's or loved the music of that generation, don't miss the yearly Haqppy Together tour.
