New Found Glory

New Found Glory

NEW FOUND GLORY IN CONCERT:The morning of a New Found Glory concert, feel free to skip your coffee or Red Bull -- you'll get all the energy you need once the Florida-bred punk rockers take the stage. Since bursting onto the scene almost two decades ago, they've been giving punk contemporaries like Green Day and Blink-182 -- both of whom they've supported on tour -- a run for their money as one of the genre's most influential acts. They continue to live up to that reputation with show-stopping live performances packed with hits from the early '00s and recent jams off their 2014 album Resurrection. Frontman Jordan Pundik riles up the crowd with catchy choruses, inviting ticket buyers to revel in his spectacle as the band plows ahead at full steam.

New Found Glory put on a great show and I really liked that they mostly played their older albums. However, Saves the Day played before them and was amazing. I only wish they had been able to play more songs. I especially enjoy when they play their old songs (Sell All My Old Clothes I'm Off to Heaven was spectacular). I definitely recommend this event.

I really only came to hear Saves the Day, but they didn't get to play very long. Overall it was a decent show. It's my fault for not being a Fireworks, Hellogoodbye, or New Found Glory fan.

hellogoodbye played well considering they had left half of their normal equipment behind to make it to the show on time. saves the day was AMAZING. they could have played more from stay what you and ups and downs but there's nothing wrong with kickin it old school and playing older albums. New found glory was awesome, as they always are. they played their self-titled album start to finish and a one or two old songs and a few off their newest album. their new album is awesome; their music will never get old

The show was great. The music was amazing but we could not hear the lead singers of any of the bands( and we were front row). The only band we could hear completely was New Found Glory. They sounded amazing. Loved the entire show. Maybe it was just the venue. Gilleys or something?

Well, I have to say that New Found Glory was great. But the others were not. When Fireworks sang, the guitar and drums overshadowed all the lyrics. It seemed like their equipment were not balanced properly. Then for Hellogoodbye, that was a disaster. There equipment were not working and they spent most of their time on stage trying to get it fixed in between songs than actually singing. Saves the Day was pretty good. New Found Glory was by far the best! The crowd was pretty rowdy. It was fun though. I enjoyed the concert overall. but was just disappointed in the opening acts. : (

NFG always puts on an excellent show and this one was no exception. The venue offered a very personal show with them. NFG is one of the friendliest bands I have every seen. The would let people come up on stage in sing with them all the time. And the involve the crowd unlike any other band. In short NFG IS AWESOME! I would suggest anyone to go see them.

WoW! These guys did an amazing show at Peabody's!! They gave it their all and made my year with their show! Everyone has a band they'll always remember for their life and NFG is my life's band. It was so cool that they played at a small venue because it allows the fans to get right up at the stage to sing along! Can't wait to follow them to Pittsburgh when they play with Dashboard in December! I owe them my life, because they saved mine so many times.

This was the first time I ever went to Stage AE and I must say I really liked the venue. This particular show was indoors. All of the bands were really good. The Movielife were really good, Bayside was AWESOME (I just wish they had about 20 more mins to their set) and NFG were solid as well (though I would have liked more old songs). The only problem was the crowd. People were throwing up everywhere, though I'm not sure it was because of alcohol or what. Then, some lady spilled her drink (purposefully) on my friend for NO reason. It almost ruined the night and it certainly ruined the mood. The bands and the music were the saving grace.

I've been a New Found Glory fan since '97. That's 21 years, and pretty much their entire existence, if you're counting. I've been to 50+ concerts, of different genres, and have traveled all over the Midwest to see the bands I love. My favorite band is Deftones, and I've seen them 5 times. I've seen some amazing quality concerts, like Bush with Soundgarden, George Strait, and The Foo Fighters. This concert, (The Makes me Sick Tour), blew all the others away. It was hands-down the most singable, constantly moving, crowd-involved concert I've been to. The venue (Bogart's, in Cincinnati, OH) was the perfect small and intimate venue. I'd compare it to The Orbit Room in Grand Rapids, Michigan, just slightly smaller. Getting in and out was very manageable, and parking was very close by. All the support acts were great, as well. William Ryan Key's acoustic performance was chilling and intimate, and ended with an encore of Ocean Avenue. The second opener was The Movielife, one of my favorite punk bands. I'd seen them some 13 years prior, and they'd broke up and reunited since. They still have all the energy, but with a seasoned, more grown-up feel to them. New, more mature, material was an added bonus. They did not disappoint. 3rd in line, and last before headliner was Bayside. Bayside played all their staple songs and singles, cruising through their set, and ended with fan, and personal favorite, Devotion and Desire. New Found Glory was the ultimate treat, however. Taking time to speak with the audience, they brought up a fan on stage so everyone could wish her happy birthday, and she was allowed to sing a song with the band. NFG also had a "Wheel of Songs", that one lucky fan had a chance to spin, and ultimately, instead, choose which song he wanted to hear. The fan, named Murphy, was able to sing "Hold my Hand", with the band on stage. After finishing their set, the band did an encore, in the form of "Eye of the Tiger", and "My Friends Over You"

Tigers jaw was a very solid opener, yellowcard played a great set, and new found glory showed why they are one of the best live bands in the game.

Excellent show. Yellowcard put on a great show but NFG's energy was surreal! Both bands absolutely brought it and you won't be disappointed. Been listening to both bands for 15 years and they're just as good today as they were then. Saw this show at the Electric Factory and enjoyed it so much that I saw it again the following week at the Sands Event Center in Bethlehem.

Absolutely had a blast at this show! Both bands sounded awesome, and the chemistry was great since they've been friends for years. The sets were a perfect mix of new and old material, and both bands' energies were soaring. The event was purely electric and I'm smiling as I write this review three days later. Awesome tour. Even got to go onstage with NFG during their set. The venue was spectacular, too. Small, but intimate and security was on point and were having a good time too. Smiles all around. They even handed out water bottles to the crowd! I've never seen that in 15 years of going to shows. 10/10 would go again.

I've never seen a bad performance from Yellowcard or NFG. The energy from both bands is incredible, and both do an excellent job of putting together setlists that incorporates songs from all their albums and all phases of their careers. The lights synced up brilliantly to Yellowcard's set (especially at the end of Way Away), Ryan kept the crowd amped up even during slower songs (like the beautiful piano-only rendition of Empty Apartment), and Sean graced us with a backflip! NFG brought audience participation to a new level, letting a young girl fan sing on stage with them AND bringing a random fan from the crowd on stage to request a song and sing with Jordan. He slayed it, and should really have his own band. These bands never disappoint me, and I can't wait to catch this tour again in Jersey.

We had a GREAT time!!! I thought the crowd was a bit unappreciative of Yellowcard but, by the time NFG took the stage, everyone remembered that they were out on a Friday night and it was time to have fun! The Electric Factory was a good size for this kind of a show - big enough for a little rowdiness, but small enough to maximize sound and keep close to the bands. Plus, good lighting and a confetti cannon added entertainment value. Both bands are still excellent and put a ton of energy into their performances. See them!
