Another 90s Block party down featuring guy, live from Indianapolis, not going to rehash what I wrote in Respect it stands alone , guy performed a longer set (in indi) from the previous shows I attended and with the addition of more girls, girls girls it pushed the energy up, the crowd was hot, live and appreciative. Comedian Gary 'G. Thang' Johnson, keep it going between sets and also helped entertain and move the crowd. Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves, even Ginuwine watched the other performers from the floor right in front of me partying along with the ones on stage He wasn t Ginuwine at that moment he was a fan. As custom, guy gave out Red Roses to the ladies at the end of the show, Damion also took picture with a few fans. Can t wait until he puts the NJS tour together. I ll be there. The Real EM (Eric)

They re the Kings of the thing called the New Jack Swing and if there s a question or a reason to wondering why, just remember the three letters of g u y. Within the past year I ve attended three of the block party tours featuring guy and have already purchased two more to go. Why because it s live, the music that Mr. Teddy (Yep yep) Riley has amass over the years not just with guy but a slew of so many others is a living testament to the history in our lives and that of our children too, in concert when Aaron belts out that a lot of babies were made from this music (what I call the Love Swing ) he wasn t lying, no BS just the facts. True music lovers more than appreciate every little, ting, ding and strings that TR and guy puts in their work, from TR s early work with the inspector gadget salute of the show to every chuck and bottom bass note from the Keys or the funky percussions, not to mention the masterful remixes, Do you know what I m saying Along with several co works and collaborations with the Nasty Man Aaron Hall, There is not enough credit that will be or can be given to guy. Admit it their sound was so clean and tight, the coolest of the cool had to grab a girl and head to the floor. So underrated, so understated. Inclosing my brothers. Real still recognize real and from a grown man to another, Thank you, Aaron, Damion and Teddy\u2026. The Real EM (Eric)

Jazz, of Dru Hill was awesome;Al B. Sure, should have stuck to his music;Co-Co, of SWV voice has become phenomenal over the years;Raphael Saadiq's cousin, of Tony! Toni! Tone!,was a great replacement; and Aaron Hall,of Guy,needs to accept that he is no longer 27 years old. The DJ & Soto, made the night with the songs they played,it could have been better,if they would have done a better job of the sound system. When is BBD/ New Edition coming back?

whoever the sound guy is needs to be fired. It seems to me there was no sound check. All artists sounded muffled except for Guy. There was also no spotlight so you couldn't see I'd they went into the audience. Very low budget show

The evening was a disappointment. It was clear that some groups such as Dru Hill and Guy still had it and some individuals like CoCo from SWV still had it but the rest was disappointing. I enjoyed the DJ and the male emcee however for the other acts like AL B Sure it is best to just remember how they once were.

Where do I begin? There were so many things wrong at this event; I so expected more especially for the money I spent. I had great seats. I was seated on the floor in row G and I still had a hard time hearing all the acts clearly. The sound system was terrible. The mica were turned down and muffled half of the time I couldn't understand what was being said or sang. I really feel bad for the people in the balcony and farther I. The back of the theater. Also, the lighting was worse than the sound. There was no spot light following the acts since most of the performers spent majority of their time running around the audience. I had to strain and twist and turn to find them in the dark in the theater. I have been to many events at the aerie crown and this concert by far was the worse. You could tell the budget was definitely lacking. There was no stage setup as far as back drops or special lighting or scenery. There was a bunch of everyone instruments strewn willie nillie all over the stage. Joe Soto and that women the cohost were ok as host but not that entertaining. You could see lots of people hanging around backstage looking at the concert on the side by the curtain. They were so many and so close to the stage you should have put chairs and I would have thought it was VIP seating. Also, I was disappointed that Raphael Saadique wasn't there as a member of Tony Toni Tone. It was never told to the public that he wasn't apart of the group and they were my main reason for attending. I believe that was misleading. And I won't speak on some of the acts talent, but you might want to replace Al B. Sure on the lineup because of all the acts he was the worse. Overall I walked about feeling dissatisfied and felt like I had been cheated because I couldn't see nor hear the concert clearly and I would not recommend this companies events to anyone. It was not worth the money nor time I spent. I have been to better free concerts.

Let me began by saying If the promoters would have paid for a better sound system then maybe our concert experience would have been better. The speakers kept going out and the lighting was bad. Not to mention the bad performance by Al B Sure! He needs to retire and stop singing period. The performance by SWV, Guy and Tony Toni Tone was good but lacked the sound and lighting which draws the people into the experience. Also the radio host suck, they should never be allowed to host a event again! Honestly most of the crowd where we sat (floor seats) wanted our money back after the show!

Al B Sure was too sexy! He sounded a little dry but he handled it well, singing a few hits and the tribute to Heavy D was nice. Also he walked through the audience and allowed people sing on his mic. Loved it! TonyToniTone did well, very energetic. It was Dwaynes birthday!..He brung a lady out of the crowd to bump and grind on. the Lead Singer ran through the crowd, very hyper. Totally forgot Rapheal Siddiq wasnt with the group anymore. DruHill was good, didnt understand why Jazz came out on the third maybe fourth song, the other three sang without him. But he hit some notes and jammed as well. They still had their moves down and vocally as well. Yes Sisqo still got blonde hair! SWV, they were amazing, they sang all the good hits, saved WEAK for last. When they performed If You Only Knew, Patti Labelle remake...OH MY GOD. CoCo blew the roof off, she shut the whole place down. Guy was incredible, Aaron and Damian started the show with I Like!..They snapped, Aaron Hall still has it, he came out his shirt, he pumped he floor on stage, He came out into the crowd and sang I Miss You his number one hit. Finally Teddy Riley hit the stage, the crowd went wild.

Overall it was a great Show Allure was exactly who there were in the 90's - which is to say they were average. Horace Brown was good with his limited set list. He sounded great didn't miss any notes and had some stage presence. The surprise of the evening was Intro. I was/am a big Intro fan original lead singer of the group passed away some years back. So I was anxious to see how they would perform. All I can say is WOW just WOW. The new lead sounded exactly like the original he really sang great. They had a great mix of uptempo stuff and ballads. They really were the performance of the night. It was very unexpected ..but very enjoyable hats off to INTRO. They did not perform their biggest hit (feels like the first time). Christopher Williams was the disappointment of the night. Don't get me wrong his voice hasn't lost a step. He sounded perfect... in a world of male singers that all sound like women Christopher Williams was "doing it for the Grown men". He did a lot of Teddy P. and was spot on. But he was 20 minutes late with his band and singers on stage just standing there.. He really killed the groove. Changing Faces only did two songs but both were perfect. They picked someone from the audience to be R. Kelly and it turned out to be a lot of fun (GO JAMES). Monifah - sounded great but looked crazy. But did bring out Peter Gunz and Az... Guy - was good not great. I have seen them before and I thought this performance was not as good as the past few. Aaron was on top of his game and Damien was ahhh.. but they still go the goods. In a side note the comedian "smokey" was Chris Rock funny.... He was really hilarious and made the evening (which was full of delays) tolerable. P.S. The Venue still smells and is low on class.

This concert was trash after Ginuwine left the stage. Ginuwine did an amazing job opening up and getting the crowd hype. I wish he didn't leave the stage after sitting through JE and Guy's performance. JE's Brandon was 'sick', so he came out to open their set, then left the stage right after. A lot of JE's performance were 'aye and yeah' vs. singing the actual words. Guy was just trash. Aaron Hall wanted the crowd to sing majority of the song and when he did sing he was doing tooooo much. Just stick to the normal version bruh. Then he ended up leaving the stage too leaving only Teddy and the other guy who just danced the entire time. The only good parts to this show were Ginuwine and the Host/Comedian.

Ginuwine did a great job, wish his set would've been longer. Jagged edge sounded good, but one of their members got really sick so they cut their set short which was highly disappointing because they were the main ones I wanted to see. Finally, Guy came out and sounded horrible! They were all over the place and looked and sounded a mess...to the point where people started booing! I was really looking forward to this and it was a massive let down. I want my money back!

Had to take off three stars for two reasons. Ginuwine was a great opening act but he should've been the last act because he by far met the expectations of what a real concert is. Jagged Edge started off good but in the middle of their act one of the members left the stage throwing up and was deemed "sick." When Guy came on, Aaron Hall barely sang any part of the two songs he performed, was off key and seemed to be forgetful of his own lyrics as he made the crowd sing 80% of his songs. Left Teddy on stage to sing songs that weren't even popular. We left 20 minutes into Guy's set because it was THE worst performance I've even seen in my entire life. We should get 2/3 of our money back!!!

I have been a fan of Jagged Edge since the beginning. Their songs have been with me when I was in love and gotten me through break ups, I was extremely disappointed in their performance. They come out and did about 4 or 5 songs, one of the members left the stage during their performance, and then they all just left the stage. So disappointing! After the concert, I read reviews on their previous performance in other cities and it was the same behavior. Why go on tour if you are not committed to giving a great performance for your fans who have been down with you for years?!!! Guy and Ginuine did an excellent job and they are the only reason I am not asking ;for my money back. If this tour is coming to your city, be prepared for the bare minimum from Jagged Edge!

The Valentines day love jam concert consisted of Ginuwine, Jagged Edge and Teddy Riley ft. Guy (in that order). Initially the flyer had Keith Sweat but something must have happened. Ginuwine had the best show by far and Jagged edge was next but Brandon walked off stage 1 song in and didn't return. Teddy Riley ft. Guy was horrible to the point the crowd was booing. Teddy Riley used auto-tune and never heard his voice unless he took a break to talk and Aaron Hall was raspy and off key so just got up and walked off stage. He came back 10m later, on point and the rest of the show was good but it was past saving for them at that point. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for Teddy Riley and Guy bad 1st half of their set.

The comedian was the best part of the show. Ginuwine sang two full songs before singing snippets saying that he didn't want to be disrespectful of the other acts. He was the best performer of the night and he wasn't on stage long. Jagged Edge had all 4 of the group members for the first song and after that it was only 3. One of the twins had thrown up and never came back to stage. Of course they didn't tell you that until the end. Because of the twin being sick, other members sang his part. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I feel like he only came on stage for the first song because he wouldn't get paid. They could have headlined. I have seen Guy perform before and this show wasn't their best only because of the order of their songs.

This concert was absolutely not worth the money. Headliners of the concert performance started first and didn t last no time as though they had better places to be that evening. Not pleased at all with this concert. Waste of time & money! This concert should have been titled The Guy Tour since that s who you saw perform the majority of the night and close out the show! Im guessing listing Ginuwine as the main perform was to get people to buy tickets and be bamboozled at the concert.

This was a horrible event. It should have started at 0730, it didnt until 0945. It was billed as Guy, Blackstreet, and Today, posters had Kool Moe Dee. That would have been worth paying over $200.00. Christopher Williams came out and sang one verse of his song Daydreaming. What a waste! He said sorry several times, it was! He ended with "You can do all things through God." Except start a concert on time! Teddy Riley came out and sang songs he wrote instead of songs by Guy? Where ws Aaron Hall the lead singer? So this really wasnt Guy it was Teddy Riley singing all the songs he's written using a voice box? It was horrible, we left after 15 minutes of his performance we couldnt take the horrible sounds coming from the stage! I tried to give money towards minorities no more, never again. Traffic is bad to get there. I think there was like 2 lanes and a third had to merge with us. Stop and go for a while. Glad we took Uber, were able to just get out and walk across the street thru the lot and to entrance. Line to get in was really long. We had VIP tix so went right up to an even shorter line. moly wait was getting thru security as they really check your bags and then, they have to find you on a list for your VIP tags. Saw a long row Porto potties as soon as you walk in, but VIP had real bathrooms. Sat about 2 rows from stage at a table to fit 8 ppl, but only 2 other couples showed and their seats opposite us. Otherwise the tables were really tight. Bring hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a fan cz daaayum. We didn't get food, ate before we went as lines were really long. But, VIP section did have our own bar and we had waitress too, if didn't want to get up. They sold buckets of ice and beer. Best experience ever: Al B Sure came off the stage and worked the crowd. He past our table but turned around and came right next to me, got a selfie- well I thru hubby my camera and told him to get a pic. We didn't stay for Sunday concert, but would definitely spend the weekend at this concert again!!! So, our VIP experience was well worth it! Sad to say we did leave before we got to see Guy, right when Faith Evens came on, we walked out the exit, wanted to catch a cab/Uber/lift as the parking lot was getting crazy.

The event started at 3pm. All of the performers (except Al B Sure) were great but the sound quality was horrible. The sound was imbalanced between the highs, base, treble..,was all off. Worst of all the performers Mic's were not loud enough so it seemed like they were stuggling to sing. The time between sets took way too long. In fact, after Faith Evans closed out her set, it took an hour before the headliner (Guy) came on. By that time, many people had left and the show ran very late. Even when Guy first came out, they seemed agitated. Lol! But we were skeptical that they would even be there because they were a no show in prior summer breeze concerts. This is what you get when you invest in tickets for shows ran by individual promoters, and not big production companies. Now for the performances...I have to say that I was very surprised at how Al B Sure could not sing good live. In fact he had some kid on stage with him who sang all the big runs for him. Al B sounded like A horrible karaoke singer..haha! They could have skipped his performance to stay on time with the program. If you're thinking about going..Don't!! Save your money or wait tell these performers have a concert with another production company!

My husband and I had a great time at the Valentine's Love Jam. The vibe was right and they kept the show rolling smooth from start to finish. Guy was good, Aaron Hall is a character! It was so cool to hear Teddy Riley too! Now Tony Toni Tone....*sighs* All i can say is without Raphael Saadiq, they just lack luster.

R&B Blast from the Past Feat. Guy, Christoper Williams and Friends This show was really amazing!! It was amazing to me because it took me down memory lane when we all just had great times with GREAT Music and dancing!! All of the acts had such great songs! I think that this show should become a tour and add special guest to the lineup..maybe add Faith Evans to one show. Mary J Blige to another. Heavy D, ...and Teddy Riley, etc.. I would love to see this show again! The comedian was great and I loved the music that D.J. LA Luv played. It was AWESOME! The crowd was very mature and no arguments or fighting! The Paradise Theater is an awesome place!!

Omg where do I start. The concert was amazing until Aaron Hall opened his mouth. The energy was crazy. Next opened up the show and was amazing. I really love Teddy Riley but He should have brought Blackstreet instead of guy. Guy is done and Aaron needs to retire. His voice is done! Got all hyped up for Guy only to be disappointed.

Genuwine was good. He sang well and didn't waist time in between songs. Not sure why Jagged Edge was in the show, they were mediocre. Very disappointed with Guy. The music was too loud and the mics were too low, practically didn't hear the first two songs. I think they need to rehearse more and do a sound check before the show. Too much dancing and not enough good singing.

Ginuwine was the best. Jagged Edge was good. Guy was ok but could have been better. They were not bad. They just were not up to level that I am used to seeing them at.

Personally I was pretty disappointed in the concert overall. Ginuwine was pretty good, but I've never been a fan and didn't come to see him and neither did my girlfriend. Jagged Edges's performance was VERY short because one of the twins got sick and left the stage right away. My Girlfriend loves JE and they are the reason why I got the tickets for her. Aaron Hall's voice is horrible now and he sat along the side of the stage not singing for at least a 3rd of the time that they performed. During this time, Teddy Riley played the keyboard and sang (Non Guy songs) using auto-tune. Guy is the reason why I paid for these great seats. They barely sang anything. If I had to guess, I'd say they only performed 5 - 8 songs as a group (Not counting Teddy alone and "You can call me Crazy") and why I'm giving the show only one star and was so disappointed. I wanted to be taken back to my early military days of the 1990's, but they only did one song on "The Future" and that of course was "Let's Chill" SMH...

Ginuwine was hands down AMAZING! His performance was very staged and present. He captured the audience attention. He seem to be very well rehearsed and prepared. Jagged Edge lost a member in the middle of a segment. After that song they left the stage. Only to return and say our members got sick so we re heading out. Apparently someone back stage wasn t having it and sent them back out for one more song. Over all the singing was good, only! Guy was the biggest waste of my time. The lead (hall) was slurring all of his words and completely off tune with the music. Once he left the dummer decided to preform his unknown single. RIDICULOUS! However, they closed with Teddy Jams and that was nice and on point. But over all I give Guy a complete thumbs down. If it had not been for Ginuwine. I can tell you I would ve left a lot earlier. Oh and the audience booed Guy. Yes it was that bad.

Concert was too fast artist seems to have a strict curfew and also the headline artist should have not gotten the majority of the time. Although I have my issues seats and the venue were good with no complaints.

The venue was beautiful, right size, not too big, and great for wearing heels to. Ginuwine was his usual self, he can still put on a wonderful show. Jagged Edge was marvelous even though they were missing Brandon. The sound for Guy was horrible, we heard the music more than the vocals and Aaron Hall's timing for singing was after the music. I left 10 minutes after Guy started performing and they sounded better in the waiting area.

I was totally disappointed. It appears the sound/mics were messed up. I could not hear good and at one time, it appeared the group was off key. Jagged Edge came out and stayed only 15 to 20 minutes. The group Guy played other people music including Bobby Brown's. It was just not was I expected. I wished I could be refunded because I was totally disappointed.

This was the worst concert ever. All of them need to retire. If I want to pay my money for me to sing instead of them I could have stayed home and just played the cd s. Guy trash! 112 trash! Jagged Edge trash! Should have been called the Edge because one of the the ran of the stage because he was so sick. The only one that still go it was Ginuwine. But in my opinion I keep your money!

It seem as if Teddy Riley was the only one ready to perform. Aaron could not hit the notes, he wouldn't even try, and his brother was just there. Genuwine did the most with the less time he had to do it with. Jagged Edge would have been better with a band instead of Pre recordings

The MC, Ginuwine, and Jagged Edge did a great job. My husband and I really and enjoyed their performance. Guy on the other hand were not entertaining. It feels like they put a lot of time into dancing and their vocals were not good. They should have opened the show, then Ginuwine, and Jagged Edge would have been a great finale.

The music hall was outstanding!! The concert started on time! Ginuwine' performance was wonderful! I enjoyed him so much but Jagged Edge was weak and short. Only 3 members of group was there and they only performed 3 songs. Then the mc took another 15 minutes to occupy the crowd for the worse performance. Guy sucked!!! Aaron Hall hardly sanged then after 2 songs he left. People were booing him and began to leave. Teddy Riley stayed on the keyboard. In which his keyboard performance was boring and tired. I will never go to another Guy concert nor Jagged Edge. They were weak and tired

The show started on time. Ginuwine opened the show and was great. The came JE. the were off a bit. No band which was fine but they didn't seem really into it. One of the twins got sick during a song and left early but they finished their set which was just okay. Then came Teddy Riley and Guy. Aaron Hall was terrible butchering every song he sang. Teddy was okay overall I would not recommend anyone see this show. If Ginuwine come back as the Headliner I'm n the other acts I could care less to see them again.

Cut Jagged Edge off too soon, cut After 7 off too soon, too much of a comedian talking (not what I paid for) and a DJ. Didn't offer chair rental although the website stated they would.. and your headliner wasn't even there (Guy)....sad because the groups you cut off were a great show. Hopefully, the comedian gets his own show and you will let what you advertised actually perform.

The main headliner never took the stage. In between sets, they took about an half hour to set the stage up in the meantime the DJ was playing old unrelated type of music instead of allowing the acts to take the stage. They put an unscheduled act on the stage then they said that the headliner didn't have the time to take the stage because of an 11:00 noise ordinance. They didn't even announce it they just started packing up the stage. Truly disappointed I requested a refund

Guy never showed up, even though indicated as headliner. Other performers while Ok, were short. About 4 songs each, and not usually the full song. I don't think they did a "mic check" at all, everyone came out and sounded horrible at 1st. I attend approx 8-10 concerts a year, this is the worst I've seen

The lineup was good even though the headliner group Guy was not there and we were not told that. The only good thing is that Dave Hollister was a fill-in and I love him. the sound system is horrible!!! Enjoyed the crowd on the lawn but the venue should get large screens for better viewing.

I thought the concert was great up until that had a bonus guest Dave Holister sing a few songs. After his performance the Kiss 105.9 host did not bother to apologize or say Guy is a no show. They began to pack up their equipment and left the stage. Kiss 105.9 was very rude at the ending of this concert.
