World's Toughest Rodeo

We will come every time Cinch Rode comes! Always entertained and we love to hoot n haller!! Plus my boy was selected to mutton bust, he won, and his dream came true.

The Worlds Toughest Rodeo was an excellent event for all ages and a few of the contenders and winners were from our home state of Minnesota. That made us feel very greatful to have a bull rider from Minnesota win first place on the night of the event. Even better yet was the free concert with Dylan Scott after the Worlds Toughest Rodeo. That topped off the whole evening and made it very very memorable.

The whole night was a lot of fun and very entertaining!

Pace was good, there were no down times and they kept everyone entertained. Very good show and worth the price.

The event itself was AWESOME! We have gone for the last 4 years and the show that was put on was beyond expectations! Cannot say enough about the show! Our seats (six of us went) were not though! We paid premium to be close to the action only to have a security guard and people getting floor passes obstructing our view. We requested that they get a chair & sit but it was against their rules. Word from the wise - do not sit in the lower seats of 115 for the rodeo - you will not be able to see due to rude security!!!!!

It was slow getting started by almost 30 minutes, not that much happened, the whole thing probably would have been less than an hour if they didn't drag it out and waste so much time. They put an underbelt on the animals which is what makes them kick and try to get it off and buck, there just happens to be a person on top at the same time. Try to get seats close to the chutes because that's where the majority of the stuff happens, I felt bad for people on the other end, they were hardly involved in anything. We took our daughter who loved it, it was good entertainment for an evening. Friday night definitely felt like the warm up for the "real show" on Saturday though.

It was ok, just not as good as the past few years. We didn't have programs this year nor did they have calf roping. The clowns are not as entertaining as they used to be either. If the prices are going to stay the same or go up I don't see why the rodeo has to be less. All in all it was good, but not great.

Jan 29th and 30th shows in St. Paul were the first of only 4 shows. Last year had many more stops and was SPIKE tv's World's Toughest Cowboy reality show competition. Last year and previous years were outstanding, and this years was just mediocre. There wasn't even a program, just a sheet of paper that they charged $1.00 for! Lame.

Still entertaining as always; what really put it over the top was Randy Hauser's concetr afterward! Wish they had programs like in the past. Fun to read about the various cowboys, even if they charged 2 bucks, I'd buy one. Overall, not as much hype as when it was on Spike Tv

We thought it was a great night. The cowboys were all great.

I loved the show, but the in between parts could be better. The barrel racing was a lot of fun, as well as the bull and horse riding. The parts with the horse trainer, and the clowns could be better. I also didn't care much for the "Obama" jokes. :(

Everything was great. The only thing that got people wondering was the party on the dirt you had to have a dirt pass. I don't remember hearing anything about that on the commercials? It felt like it was a hidden thing. Obviously no one else knew about this b/c there was only maybe 75 people on the dirt. Otherwise Really fun event and Randy "Cadillac" Houser puts on a great show. Will go back to this event in the future!

It was my first rodeo, and it was okay. It went by too fast. The jokes were okay, but overly amusing.

I really wanted to see some calf roping, which was not a part of the event, so I was dissapointed. The rodeo consists of bareback & saddled bucking horse, women's barrel racing, and bull riding. The rodeo is fast-paced, not much down time waiting for the next rider. The Randy Houser concert at the end was a wonderful bonus!

this is the 2nd year I've brought my grandson to this event. He found it very enjoyable. It looked a little scaled back from the previouse year but the cowboys still rocke,,, as well as the bulls and broncos. Fun time

It was fun but they did more horse riding type rodeo stuff than bull. And the bull's horns were shaved down. It would have been more fun if they would have explained what they are judged upon and made it a bit more competitive in that sense!

As far as rodeos go this one was just a quick as all the other ones. Watching ten cowboys do three events which each take a total time of 8 seconds, if that , goes by way to quick.

I enjoyed the entire show, but the bull riding was the most entertaining, in my opinion. Those bulls are huge and they appear to be just plain mean! The Xcel Center was a great place to watch the show.

Our 7 yr old and 4 yr old enjoyed the event and it kept everyones attention. Moved along at nice pace we were bummed when it ended. I think anyone would enjoy seeing all the events, from the horses to the bulls and the added entertainment of the horse trainer and the barrel racers. We have horses and enjoy these types of venues.

The Cowboys were good but I thought the event was very unorganized. No scoreboard letting us know where our favoriet Cowboy stands. Eventhough the trick hoursemen was good, I thought that most of his tricks happened by chance. If the anouncer would let us know what he was atempting, we would have been more amazed.

I have attended this rodeo a number of times. However, this years was rather disapointing. There was a serious lack of merchandise, only 2 sales area with a limited number of items (T-shirts and small stuffed animals) and the display shirts were so far back from the sales table they were hard to see. As for the rodeo program, an exciting opening, but only 10 cowboys in competition, made for a rather lackluster competition. The concession prices were absolutely horrible, almost 5 dollars for a large soft drink! In addition, the gates opened almost 15 minutes late, a lot of unhappy patrons.

Have not been to a rodeo in years. Took my niece and we had a great time. Every minute was entertaining.

This was an awesome show! My daughter could not stop smiling! in her exact words "I had the time of my life!"

Took 3 boys to Rodeo on Saturday, ages 5, 9, and 13....all 3 loved it! As did the adults! The announcer was funny, performers were entertaining, and what could be more exciting than bull riding?! Great venue, awesome performance!

First time attending a rodeo event. It was quite entertaining and I would definitely go to another one.

Really liked this rodeo had some good entertainment and good professional animals and riders!

I truly loved watching all the events at the rodeo. The only downside was that the music and loudspeakers were so obnoxiously loud, I couldn t enjoy it. I m not usually sensitive to sound, but our friends had earplugs, and I used them just to tolerate the show. Unfortunately even the earplugs didn t work and I had to leave before the show was over. What a shame!

Best rodeo I have been too. From the horses to the bulls to the sheep you could tell the animals were cared for and taken care of properly. The competition was very competitive.

The family had a great time! The show was exciting and wow what a ride it was for those cowboy's, crazy! I would of liked to see the cowgirl, winner of the barrel ride, be given a spot light presentation with the other riders! Other than that, Enjoyed the show!

Best event I ve ever been too!going again for sure

Great family Entertainment. Took my grandson to his first Rodeo and he loved it from the opening until the closing.

Loved it! Our kids had a great time - they were hoarse by the time we left. The animals were beautiful and it was a lot of fun watching them compete. We will be going again next year! Suggestion: Tone DOWN the volume! Our ears hurt from how loud the announcer and music was. There was no need for that - we have been to other rodeos and have not had this issue.

I go to countless rodeos (my father is a retired bull rider), but wasn't familiar with this one. If this was a typical show them I'm in. They started the evening by allowing fans to visit on the arena floor with various activities to enjoy. Would have been great to take kids to. The competition itself was only rough stock and barrels. These are the events most fans are interested in anyway, and it kept the program from dragging on all night (we were home about 10:30. They brought in Roger Mooney who is one of the best announcers to be found. And the other entertainment, while not necessary, was enjoyable, Overall a very enjoyable evening.

I got my grandson tickets for Christmas and he could barely wait for the time to go to the rodeo, he had a blast and I had a blast watching him. It was definitely worth the money and time it took to get there. Would recommend it to anyone.

This was a gift for my daughter's family, which included a 3 and 5-year old. The 3-year old came into the house so excited and said "Memaw, that was so much fun!" Then proceeded to go on and on about all the activity.

This was a night we wanted to create memories with our family and we did just that. We left 45 minutes into the event. The events were fine but the audio was horrendous. It was the loudest ear numbing event that I had ever been to. My kids had the ears covered the entire time and a lot of young kids around us were crying because it was so loud. We'll never forget this night. Hopefully one day we can look back and laugh at it.

Great family entertainment!! The acts are amazing!

The atmosphere was great! Especially loved the fact that they are in support of our veterans, which was evident from the very start!

We had a great time on Saturday night at the Rodeo. We had been a couple of times and took friends who have never been to one before. We had a great time. I did miss the drill team girls just because they are so good but it didn't take a thing away. It was great. We will go back again.

My husband I took 2 of our grandchildren to the Rodeo. They loved the preshow activities..so enjoyed the show. Definitely will consider yo go again.

Good time or for the whole family. Involved crowd, fun activities the whole time.

We had a wonderful time great seats for last minute purchase enjoyed everything completely. Only negative is inconsiderate rude people who lets their kids kick you and throw things at people and they never get corrected that what they are doing is naughty and never apologize to you for their actions. People not clapping when riders are riding and the announcer having to mention it multiple times. Then seeing how trashed people leaves a place makes me sick. The show itself amazing. However where has people lost their respect it s so sad. Maybe I m odd that it bothers me. Loved how prayer was implemented before the show began giving honor to my Lord and Savor Jesus Christ and honoring our military and veterans is amazing. Bronx and bull riding super fun the rope tricks and bull jumping show was great. Loved the barrel racing action and most of all that purty clown in his pretty zebra pants. Everything was great not a complaint one of the show it was awesome. Now the concert after was okay sound was bad for most of it and his honor of our military lumped with certain crowds was odd and to me distasteful but that s just my opinion. Even the crowd in front of the stage started leaving before the last song and people never clapped for his last song. Getting out of the venue was easy and couldn t ask for a better night it was a great date!

We took our 4 children to this event and they had a BLAST! (As did we). The riders were spectacular and every moment had us on the edge of our seats. The only negative aspect was the venue customer service people. We had a great experience with the people on the club level but the people at the concessions on the main floor were extremely slow. They also refused to give us any cups, small bowls, ANYTHING in order for us to share our popcorn between the six of us after we asked for help. We spent over $100 on food concessions alone! Not family friendly in that way whatsoever. But, alas, the we all had a wonderful time with the rest of the event.

Had a great time with my brother, event was very entertaining throughout the night. Concert at the end wasn't the greatest, but overall good event.

My family enjoyed the rodeo. It was a first trip to a rodeo for my kids. I was eager for them to have this experience, and to want to start watching rodeos on television with Daddy. They especially enjoyed the rodeo clown. We stayed after for the concert, eager to see Michael William Morgan. By the end of the first song the entire section cleared out. You had to be seated in 1 of the 8 sections that could actually make out a single word that came out of his mouth, or one of the 2 sections allowed down on the floor. We hopped from section to section through half of the concert because I wanted to know if it was possible to hear him anywhere in the arena. Speakers were lifted into the air to make it LOUD, but no attempt was given to make it more than noise to the audience. The entire arena could hear the rodeo announcer whisper to the clown during their act, but very few could hear the singer??? What is the point in a concert that can be heard by 8 sections in an arena with over 30 open sections??? I have no idea if he can sing. The bad concert sent us away with a bad taste. The concert was part of the price of the tickets and that will keep me from attending again next year.

The announcer, and clown was 90 percent of show. With that said if u like a clown that's not funny and announcer that voice makes u throw up in ur mouth ull love it. Concert after rodeo we was next stage. They did no sound check so u could hear drums but not one word they sang was audible sounded like charlie brown teacher

Always an awesome show and great experience!! 10/10 would recommend!!

My husband had never been to a rodeo so this was a perfect first. He had a great time. One issue though: my husband is 6"4" and he was extremely cramped in his seat.

I have been coming to WTR for about 8 years now and have absolutely loved it every time. Great announcer, great clown, great show, and great concert! They always keep the crowd entertained! I go every year both nights and have never been disappointed.

I have been goin to the Worlds Toughest Rodeo for years!!! But this year was great because it was my girlfriends first time to a rodeo and she/we had a GREAT time!!

Loved the view we had. We were able to see all the animals and Cowboys up close when they ran/waked by. We were on the other end of the stage so we couldn't get pictures of Granger Smith but that was ok.

At first I didn't now what to expect because I never have gone to one of these rodeos before. But the seating was great. And overall it is worth going to.

I was disappointed in the clowns. They always play with a bull. They didn't Saturday night

I went last year and this year was way better by far! I would go again and again and again. I really enjoyed everything. It is all very entertaining and it was my boyfriend's first year going and he had a blast!

Excelent entertainment. Fun for all ages. Especially liked the non-politically correct prayer at the beginning, before the national anthem, that was better than most Super Bowl renditions! They come back, we will too!

Rodeo was a blast!!! My 3 year old had a blast! Sad that it's only once a year!!

The rodeo and concert was a blast it was my second date so we had a great time very entertaining will definitely go back again next year or later this year if it comes around

Lots of events, bull riding, barrel racing, bronco riding. They have Whiplash the monkey that rides a dog. Good entertainment by the clown during the breaks.

This was the first time that I had ever been to the Worlds Toughest Rodeo and I have to say that it was one of the most amazing events I've ever been to in my 37 years!!! Seeing it in person is so much better than watching it on TV.......I will be attending again in the future and bringing my children with!! Thank you for a great show!!!!!!!!

We really didn't expect that much showmanship beyond the actual competitions. The announcer, pyrotechnics, military observation, comedy relief, lights, etc... It was real entertainment. Dustin Lynch's show was great also but I found the overall volume a notch too loud. The rest of the show was a perfect wrap-up for the night. I bought Cowboys and Angels afterward.

Our daughter gave us tickets to The World's Toughest Rodeo for Christmas, and we were really excited -- we had never been before. We were NOT disappointed! The action was great and the hosts were funny and kept things lively. I also loved that it was Christian-based and they were not afraid of being "politically incorrect" and opened the event with a ceremony that included prayer and a tribute to some local military heroes. It was very awesome and inspiring. I had tears in my eyes. My husband is hooked -- he can't wait to go back again next year. We were at the Friday night show. It would have been nice if there were a post-event concert on Friday as there is at the Saturday show. Other than that, I can't say a singel negative thing! Great show!

This was a great show as always. Good to see some local talent. Xcel is the perfect place for this.

the event was great. Kids had a blast. The kids really got into rodeo. It was Ambers first time going and she loved it.

We had seats with an amazing view of the chutes. The price was reasonable. My kids got to enjoy an evening of 99% wholesome entertainment and excitement. The cowboys did a really good job, as did the rest of the staff and crew. It was the highlight of my kids' night to get to meet everyone after the rodeo. I hope we can make this a yearly family outing!

Hands down My boyfriend and I loved it. We had 4th row tickets and we had dirt hitting us. We def are planing on going next year with the whole family! Keep it up WTR!

THis was great. we had a blast at it. We are planning on attending the pro bull riding in october.

I loved the rodeo itself. The horse and bull riding\u2026 Along with barrel racing and dog tricks. I thought it was a great act overall... I would for sure go again in the future, but next time I would opt for lower level seating. The closer you can be to events like this, the more exciting it is! Concert however; I was a bit disappointed with... The sound was terrible, not sure why they didn't use the Xcel sound system that we are all used to hearing. I could hear anything clearly from where we were sitting. Also, beer was 7 bucks a pop. I suggest pre-gaming elsewhere before an event!

This is the year for my family and I to think out~of~the~box! We decided to start going on fun, carzy, but safe, excursions. The Worlds Toughest Rodeo was #1 on our list! We purchased 8 tickets. The seats were fantastice, Sec. 102 Row L The music, announcer, riders, animals, RBC employees...were fantastic! Unfortunately my 17 year old son had an asthma attack but the First Aid people were on the ball and took care of him and we were back watching the show. My family and I can't wait to see 'ya'll' again!!

Our kids (ages 4 and 7) are big rodeo fans and love watching it on t.v. They even get their dad to be the bull and whirl around and try to buck them off, so the kids absolutely loved the World's Toughest Rodeo!! I'm sure we'll be hearing about all the cool things that happened for a very long time!! Thanks for giving us a family event packed full of fun and action. We all had a blast and would definately go again next year!!

Too much talk, not enough rodeo. No roping, steer wrestling, and more saddle/bareback bronc than bull riding.

I took my wife and 12 year old to the Rodeo and it was great! We plan to attend the Monster Truck event in March at the PNC arena also.

Seats were great at first. Usher wasn t allowing anyone to stand by the gates up until about half way thru the show. Then it seemed like everyone from the upper decks made their way down to the front to stand by the fencing. I asked the usher that was about 10ft away to move them just like he had been doing all night because we couldn t see, but he wouldn t. This resulted in us having to stand just to try to see even tho I paid a premium for front row seats. My 2 small children still could not see even standing on their seats which wasn t the safest. All this led to us leaving early. To sum things up....rodeo was great from what we saw. First experience in nationwide area was lousy. Don t pay for expensive good seats when you can just walk down,stand in front of and block everyone that did pay for good seats. Waste of money

We had a great time at the Rodeo. The clown was amazing, loved his singing performance. We also had outstanding seats. PBR is next for us!!!

Rodeo was great. Parking and refreshment costs are rediculusly high. Sitting in the upper levels, the concert after the rodeo was unintelligible. I don't know if it was the sound system or the accoustics in the area but it was so bad we left after the first 5 min.

Rodeo was great , however almost everyone left during the start of the concert. Could not hear it at all!

My family greatly enjoyed the rodeo! Every event was well announced, the traditional events were as great as expected, and the nontraditional performers were fabulous! What we were not impressed by (and actually offended by) was the lewd video at the opening, and the suggestive dancing by the rodeo clown. We did appreciate that the event managers did not have the camera on a couple that were bumping and grinding during one of the "the crowd can dance" moments(they were being filled but the screen was showing another camera). Overall, I think it could have been done better- although the skill exhibited by the actual rodeo performers was second to none!

We had a great time. Exciting, action packed and entertaining. We loved the new events.

Super good time! Had a blast, I try to attend this every year. This year I had amazing seats by the gate. Can t wait to attend again!

We had a fabulous time at the rodeo the cowboys and cowgirls performances were amazing. And the entertainer, omg hilarious esp. the half-time show! We will be back again!

I felt it was the same as last year, the clown wasn't as good as Johnny

The announcer & crew were great, and applause to all the riders, etc. They put on a good show, and always happy when there are no major injuries! However, disappointed that there were not programs. Even asked staff about programs- none. When each rider is only in front of you for 8 seconds, you find yourself not able to remember any of them really, all begin to blur together, without being able to look up the name & hometown. Shouldn't these riders get a little more recognition for what they do and go through for our entertainment. A program with a brief description and photos of the riders, and maybe even the animals, would really increase the enjoyment of this event in my opinion. Having a concert afterwards was a great idea, and Dylan Scott did a wonderful job! However, if you plan to stay for the concert, be sure to find "dirt passes". You had to have dirt passes to be on the floor in front of the stage, which was maybe only a 1/4 full. I believe it would help the artist get more pumped and put on a better show to have the area around them full of fans. There should have been passes for sale, if there was it was not communicated, or perhaps half way through the concert the floor should have been opened to anyone. Maybe have the front sectioned off for dirt passes, and the back half open up for anyone else. Also, unless you were in the "dirt pass" area, it was near impossible to get a beer / beverages. I could only see maybe 2 beer/concession guys running around the dirt floor, but beer sales were cut off early up in the concession area, during the concert. Finally, all of the problems with the concert event could have been forgiven, had the large monitor / center scoreboard been used for attendees who were in the upper levels. Why would you not utilize the monitors and display the concert? Instead we had to find empty seats in the lower levels after some of the bull riding crowd left to be able to even see the artist. Still too far away that I was unable to get a clear photo of the stage. I have been to smaller rodeo events, and had hoped this more expensive rodeo would be better since it was in a major arena with big name sponsors as far as rodeos go. I believe there are some simple changes that could be done to make this event much more enjoyable!

This show was very put together in a great way! Ticket prices were not priced outrageously, I got my money s worth and much more! The half-time show done by the rodeo clown was hilarious!!!! I hope they come back next year!!

Xcel was great but event lame!! Every rider Damn near was an 8 second rider, the bulls were tiny and the horses didn't put up much of a fight. Rodeo clown was funny and entertaining. Left early for lack of excitement. Will not return

Facility was very clean, well taken care of. Staff was very kind and helpful, as well as, very organized.

First time at xcel center for this rodeo. Had wonderful seats and it was an amazing show!

First time at an indoor rodeo. Was done very well and professional. Tickets were a bit spendy though. At $80 (that's not including fees, taxes and parking)a ticket for a decent seat, it's hard to make it an affordable family event.
