Was great to be in town over this past weekend and attend Monday's Pistons-Raptors game. We sat courtside and it was cool to see everything up close. From the free food and drinks to the action on the court, this was great. Been a lifelong Pistons fan so this was dope. Bumped into Andre Drummond after the game and it was funny to see the owner Tom Gores drunk by his seat lol. Eventhough the Pistons lost, it was great to catch a game ending the season. Only bad thing is the limited alcohol selection in VIP where there are no drinks like Heineken or Corona Extra available to get. Overall, i would recommend going to a game courtside if you ever get the chance. Peace.

I absolutely loved and enjoyed my first game at the new stadium. My only issue was the parking. It was like every place I went kept trying to turn me away to something about passes. Other than the mishap with the parking every was awesome. I had great seats so I could see Andre play which was absolutely exciting and wonderful. I overall had a wonderful experience and I would love to attend another game.

While Van Andel Arena is a great place to see a HOCKEY game or concert, basketball is not their specialty. With a court that hasn't been updated in 10(?) years, minimal contact with the players, no fan interaction, and ticket prices that compare to the regular season, I'd much rather go to a HS or local college game and save $50. But if you can't get to Detroit, this is it.

pretty good time. was able to get third row seats for myself and son for the price of a 2nd tier regular season game. was able to see the young guys play more than usual. kid loved it. would do it again.

The Meijer Basketball Classic featuring the Detroit Pistons and the Washington Wizards was a good time! As always, it is nice to see the "stars" play as well as the rookies/bench. The tickets were fairly priced, however with Michigan's economy, they could have been lowered.... a lot of seats were empty and could have been filled. The game was low-key yet exciting. This is my 4th time going and I will definitely go again

I really enjoyed going to the Van Andel Arena for the Pistons game because there really is no bad seating there. I did have really good seating though so that also really helped. I could almost reach out and touch them. All the help there were really nice as well.

I brought my 5 boys. $185. We felt that we were far removed from the game. If they could include that up deck. Some of the folks that sit up there are just as big of fans if not bigger fans than some that sit court side. They just don't have the bank account to support that. To sit way out of the way and to see all the empty seats. They should let people upgrade if they dont sell them. Let the fans move up to the better seats. From our seats we couldnt even see the big screen The game its self was great. Any time to see the Pistons even if they loose is a good time.

The game and the venue was great. VanAndel has always been a great environment for shows and sporting events. I am dis-appointed in the cost of tickets for a pre-season game. For kids this may be the only opportunity to see their sports heros live. I think they should gear the whole event to kids. Have a "greet & meet", discounted tickets for kids under 16. I had an adult fight for a t-shirt that was tossed into the crowd from my 10 year old son.

When I originally purchased this tickets, I was worried about not having a good view of the court as it is higher up. We've always purchased tickets that are in the lower levels and closer to the court. When we got there and saw where we were, it was not really bad for being higher up. We had a good view of the court.

Great tribute to D-Rod and the Detroit Franchise of days of old. Seeing the Detroit Bad Boys (even minus Bill Laimbeer) brought back great memories of basketball at it's finest. These days the players don't seem to have sense of family and winning that the Bad Boys of basketball brought to the floor every night. There is very little intensity - no wonder they lost to the Bulls.

I think these seats are definitely overpriced for the location. $90, obstructed view, and really tight seating (the seats are fold out chairs). Add to that the two fat guys at the end of the row which pushed everybody over... no thanks! BUT, The Palace does do a great show for the Pistons, even when they get blown out by 25. I think I'd rather sit in the upper deck center court for 1/2 the price. Tough to see the action from behind the boards. Seats are REALLY tight, and I'm not a big guy.

The game was great! I actually was cheering for Nuggets but I felt Detroit put on the best show. They really great with comebacks....rebounds and awesome shots. Though they lost when you come to a game you want some excitement. I was disappointed with Carmelo's performance! He was the main reason I came to the game but In all it was a nice time because I got to come with my wife (NO KIDS!). We had wings which were awesome! The bottomless drinks is a great idea!

I love being in the Palace @ Auburn Hills.... The whole place is filled with excitement no matter who you are. Just being in the stadium is what made me a fan to begin with. The heat of the flames on your face give you a rush all over. This place is also completely appropriate for everyone. From families with young kids, to groups of drinking college kids, to older sports fans, or a couple on a FUN date! The only thing I'm not sure about is how well someone with a disability would do.. but I bet they have plenty of accomidations that I just didn't have to utilize so I didn't notice! I LOVE THE PALACE AND THE PISTONS!

Everything was exceptional. Seats were great! The entire facility was clean and exceptionally well kept. I only had to get out of my seat to go to the bathroom, as we had servers to take our orders and bring our order out to us! I was very pleased. Everyone within the facility was very helpful! The Palace of Auburn Hills is a great place! Certainly well worth the $110ea. tickets. Go to a Pistons game! You'll have a blast!!

The game was very exciting..I enjoyed seeing the Pistons and Wizards play! I am a Piston fan and I also like other individual players from other teams such as Arenas..Kobe..LeBron..D-Wade..D-Rose...and more. The game was intense and I wished the Pistons would've won but the ball swung different last night. From McGee big dunks to Arenas big 3's they sealed the victory by 3 pts. Will Bynum played great D" on Gilbert Arenas and he attacked the basket with strong moves. Prince got off to a good start as well as Rip. Big Ben..it was good to see him back in a Piston uniform. I wore my Billups jersey to the game, Detroit is not the same without him!!

Little Cesar's Arena is a great venue except for the seating, which is very small and cramped,after two hours of being seated if you're tall you be in pain. Suites are recommended if affordable, however with bad teams playing there and high parking prices this is a venue to avoid for now.

My family and I really enjoyed the game. The new arena is state of the art and is so nice. It s very family friendly and has a Mother s room for those who are nursing. A lot of great options for food and drinks. My favorite restaurant there is Mike s Pizza Bar. Also, I love that you don t have to deal with the traffic like in Auburn Hills.

I have to apologize. I could not enjoy the game because my seat was too high. It is my fault for buying it. I thought the whole stadium was "tight". Now I know not to buy upper level seats. On the positive side, everyone working was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend the venue with caveats.

Did not enjoy. Seats were crammed in front of a brick wall and were narrow and we were constantly struggling with each other for elbow room and my knees jammed up against the seat in front the whole game and this is not an exaggeration at all. Tickets were $96 each and it was a lot to pay to be uncomfortable and so far away the game had to be watched on the screen. Never again.

First time in venue for a basketball game. Entry into the facility was easy from our parking location on Cass St. Venue offered many options for concessions. Incredible jumbotron for viewing the game, and many highlights/replays. The only thing was the seats were small and knee space was limited.

The venue itself is nice but the seating is totally uncomfortable for a grown man sitting next to another grown man. In effort to pack the arena a major flaw was created causing a enjoyable experience to become not so. I could not imagine coming there for a concert dressed nice and sitting balled up for 3 hours.

The arena was really nice to be in and look at. You could see the game from anywhere because of the steep steps (which were very scary). But what I didn't like was the incredibly high prices for everything to eat and drink. You almost need to come already full. So be sure to take the prices of food into account especially if you are coming with the family. The ticket and parking are not the only expensive things for the night. You will also break the bank trying to eat/drink as well.

I purchased two tickets for my husband for Christmas. He is a HUGE Lebron James Fan!! So it was great to see our good old home team DETROIT PISTONS blow the cavs out the water. Very entertaining intermissions through out the game. Seats were comfortable and view was great. Definitely will be attending more events at the arena. BRING BACK DETROIT!!! Our city has so much to offer our reputation has been under fire but in reality the city is slowly but surely gaining its name back. GREAT JOB PISTONS!!! The new arena was the perfect place for this basketball mom to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed a meal at the arena and the watched the Pistons cruise through to another win. Afterwards we took pictures throughout the arena. It s so much to see and do we must go back. If you re planning to go get there early and enjoy the new restaurants and bars before you cheer fon the team.

The sound system is awesome. We sat pretty close so we were front and center for all of the action. I will say that the seat are a little too close in the lower level section 102, but it was still fun. Definitely going again and will probably sit in the same section. P.S. - Parking is tricky so I suggest reserving your parking space ahead of time.
