Bummer, Bats lost. Not much excitement from the field in this game. I had more fun watching the kids participating in events during the ball game. I am sure they will do better next time. GO BATS!!!!!!

Got my tickets within 72 hours of ordering them. Louisville Slugger Field is a great stadium with an excellent view of the field from everywhere. My seats were 4 rows from the dugout along the first base line. If I have to say something negative, it was that they showed a Michael Jackson video, an individual that I have absolutely no respect or kind words for. Let his twice indicted pedophile plastic body rot and burn his videos. But all in all the game was great, too bad the Bats lost, and a great time was had.

I rarely think of any minor league game or ball park as anything less than amazing. I love the old, traditional ones such as Dunedin, the new ones such as Bright House Field or the one in Montgomery and everything in-between. Each has its special quality, and Louisville is no different. It is a beautiful ball park, easy to reach and fairly priced with excellent food and beverage selections. The view to the river is great and the turnout the night we were there filled the stadium and was very enthusiastic. One reason we attended was that Louisville is such an historic city for baseball. After all, Honus Wagner played there, even if not in that ball park. And the city is terrific too with nice restaurants and a terrific museum dedicated to the Louisville slugger bat.

I sent my husband, his dad and our 3 boys to see the Bats on Father's Day. It was an unforgettable experience. From Jake the Diamond Dog, playing pitch with Dad on the field and running the bases after the game. My team couldn't have had more fun!

Louisville Riverbats is always an exciting team to watch. Louisville Slugger Field is a great experience for the fan and the family. Slugger Field is always clean, the food is great and it is family friendly. I have a two year old who likes to watch the game but also likes to ride the carousel and watch special guests like Jake the Diamond Dog. This is the tenth year for the Riverbats in Slugger Field and I have attended at least one game each year. Also during the tough economic times, 'The Bats' are price right for the entertainment.

We saw the Bats vs Ironpigs.. just the name of the teams was fun for the kids :o) The sun was in our eyes for the first part of the game, but not for real long.. We enjoyed the game and would like to go back to another one. Also glad there were snacks for people like me, with a deadly allergy to peanuts & tree nuts. I was a little concerned about breathing the air around the roasted nut stand, but covered my nose & mouth, just in case. I was fine, though and it was a great family night activity!! Go Riverbats!!

Saw an evening game at Louisville Slugger Field - not a bad seat in the house. Food and drink prices are a little cheaper since this is a triple A team and stadium. Our seats were excellent and purchasing them online was quick and easy. All in all a very enjoyable trip.

This is a very fan friendly baseball stadium. One of the best of have seen in minor league ball. There is a carousel in the outfield, plus several other items that would interest a child who can't sit still and you can watch the game while watching them play. There is not a bad seat in the house. Went on Memorial day weekend and did not have long waits at any concession stand. Large selection of drinks, food, sweets, etc. Louisville did a wonderful job, I remember attending games at the old stadium and this is so much better.

The game was really good. We had awesome seats, first row behind the Clippers' dugout. The only issue we had was the players for the Clippers were rude (with the exception of one). They threw sunflower seeds at each other and then they started throwing them at us. They weren't very friendly with the kids that wanted autographs. Their coach was a real jerk too. But, overall, the game was a fun experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

This was a 23rd birthday gift for our daughter. We have been to several Bats games over the years and we have NEVER been disappointed. Order tickets on line, great parking, no hassles at the WILL CALL window (as long as you have photo I.D.) prices for food and drinks are very reasonable. Louisville Slugger Field has to be the cleanest ballpark I have ever been to. There has always been some type of entertainment at all the games we have been to; our favorite is Jake the Wonder Dog. Great time for the family!!!! Oh yes, the games are good too.

This was the first AAA game I have attended and must say that I enjoyed myself very much. The atmosphere was as expected at a ball game and the teams were playing as hard as they could. They both wanted to win and that was reflected in their play. The food was very good and I learned that some of the food was not available after the 4th. inning. I also learned what side of the field to sit on to keep out of the direct sunlight. My next ticket purchase will be on the 3rd. base side of the field. Overall, the experience was wonderful.

Louisville Slugger Field is a decent place to watch a Triple A game. We sat three rows from the field on the 1st base side and the tickets were very affordable at $10 apiece. The stadium is laid out nicely and gives a great view of the Ohio River which is just a block away. There were many kids in attendance but they were all well behaved. Slugger Field is very "kid-friendly". I would go back in the future.

It may be a minor league team but it's a first rate ballpark and experience. The food is different than Great American and generally much better!!! The staff does a great job of integrating the mascot into the game and the activities between innings is fun for both the viewers and the kids participating. We were on the first base side which you need to be careful of if it's an afternoon or early evening game since the sun will be directly in your eyes. Our second game on Sat. we were on 3rd base side and much better.

This summer my grandson, who is almost 7, played his first real Little League baseball this summer -- he played 2nd base and left field. He is staying with us this week, so I thought it would be a neat to take him to see his first Bats game. We live in Hodgenville, so it was a lengthy trip to Louisville and back, plus I have to get up at 3:00 AM to go to work, but when I asked him if he would like to go, he immediately said yes. It happened to be dollar hot dog and pepsi night, so we loaded up on both, along with Nachos and Cracker Jacks and found our seats, in the front row in section 222. My grandson gets sort of fidgety and is not patient at times, but he insisted in staying for the whole ball game, and even though he was disappointed that the Bats lost, he was happy with the experience, and I was happy to have had the chance to share some quality time with my grandson, who will be going back to North Carolina at the end of the summer.

The ball park is beautiful and clean. The game was OK - the Bats weren't at their best - but the fans that were there were pretty enthusiastic. Great playgrounds for kids. I would suggest going on $1 hot dog and Pepsi night as that is really the only way for eating at the park to be affordable. There's also lots of nice green space to see around the ballpark on the waterfront in Louisville if you get there early. All in all, great memories for our family!

The game was great and the team was amazing. Unfortunately, the vendors were terribly slow. With 2 kids, over 1/3 of the game was spend standing in seperate vending lines for basic snacks and drinks. Extremely disappointed with the lack of entertainment between innings. These little extras basically amounted to commercials on the big screen. Oh, and with a 30 minute wait to pick up tickets from the Will Call window, we missed the first inning of the game. Conclusion: With long lines and too many commercials, the actual game is of little consequence.

We got tickets in section 129 were absolutlely the worst seats I have ever had we were right behind the foul pole in left field and could not see the batter at all. It was very hard to watch the action when you could not see the ball coming of the bat. If this is the only section left I would never go to another game.

The price of concessions was WAY too high. The food isn't that good. It's more expensive than going to the movies. It is a one of a kind experience, but the cheap ticket prices don't make up for the $2.25 12 oz. Sierra Mist for my 4-year-old and my $4.25 Diet Coke, $4.00 pretzel and $4.50 (?) for the Bud Light. The beers are smaller than they used to be, also. I mean, really, the people workinng the concession are doing it to raise money for their charity, so they don't cost you all that much money.

The game was nice; however, almost everyone working at the concession stands had an extremely bad attitude and did not treat the customers with respect. Also, leaving the game was horrendous. Directing of traffic should have been better managed. Again, I do have complaints, but our seats were in a very good spot (behind 1st base) and the price was right.

I love this park BUT !!!!!!!!! The acts that are being used at entertainment during the player change are family directed. We went once this year and there was a lady doing some nasty dance and during this game some guy juggling a chainsaw. I dont want my kids seeing something like that.

It was only 94 degrees, IN THE SHADE!!!! Wow, it was hot. That was the only negative. The ballpark was extremely clean for the fans and the field was immaculate. All of the park employees were extremely courteous and pleasant. We are from Avon Indiana, just west of Indianapolis. We usually go to Victory Field, home of the Indians, for baseball games. Everything I learned and experienced at The Bats game, is much more fan friendly than other parks. My kids were able to run the bases after the game but chose not to participate during defensive drills taught by the players. We were asked by team media prior to the game to participate in mid-inning festivities. We played "Ball under the hat game" on the big screen. After this event, we were awarded with a gift card to Texas Roadhouse. I am very impressed by the hospitality of their employees and facilities. Thank you so much for such a great Father's Day with my kids!!!

While the ball park is a beautiful baseball venue, I was not very impressed with the concession stands. Long wait times were a result of not having enough food prepared, nor enough people behind the counter to assist with the fans. You would think for a Saturday night game, you would have the most amount of help available. Other than that, its great place to take your family, without having to spend a huge amount of money (and in this day in and age, that's really important). The Bats do a good job of making it a fan friendly, family friendly entertainment venue, at pretty reasonable prices.

Great park, top-notch AAA baseball (several Major League moments as well), good crowd (although there were too many empty seats, especially for a Friday night when, given the great weather, they should have all been filled). I've seen games at every MLB park and nearly 50 Minor League parks, and this was one of my most pleasant experiences. Louisville needs to get behind the Bats...and fill those seats!

We had GREAT seats and enjoyed the game - however, I was disappointed that we paid for a "grand slam" which allowed us a hot dog and drink along with ball caps. The grand slam ticket indicated that you could get a hot dog at ANY concession stand - but we stood in line for about 20 minutes only to find out that the concession stand was the WRONG stand. Then we stood in line for another 1 hour to get our hot dog - would ordinarily not have taken 1 hour - but do to a promo of $1.00 hot dogs, this caused long lines at every stand. It was disappointing that a GRAND SLAM was offered on a day when $1.00 hot dog promo was also given - we missed 1 good hour of the game! Otherwise, it was a great experience and I would love to go again!!

Great place to watch a game, Very clean and fan friendly. Not a bad seat in the whole place my youngest son and I walked to the top of the right field bleachers and still had a good look at the game.

An excellent ballpark experience. Everything at the field is very reasonably priced (some of the cheapest in the International League) and the on-field product is exceptional

Saw several Reds players in action, upclose and personal in a beautiful ball park - Homer Bailey, Corky Miller, Carlos Fisher, Yonder Alonso, Drew Sutton (in his final Bats game). Very family friendly atmosphere and an intimate baseball setting.

It was my first night at a Louisville Bats game - and I took my 2 sons. Great evening, great facility - easy parking - extremely kid friendly - very nice evening. I'd recommend getting tickets on the 3rd base side so you are not looking into the sun.

Three Bats had three hits each with the team having 17 hits or more. It was a fun game to watch as they beat the league leader.

Ballpark is nicely set-up, cheap parking next door. Very entertaining and well worth the money. However, we left our youngest son with the Grandparents because he has a peanut allergy. It was a good thing we did. There were peanuts and peanut vendors everywhere. They were even roasting German style peanuts right behind our seats. Because of this, we won't be going again. There are a few MLB ballparks that have peanut-free sections. If my son ever gets to go to a ballgame, it will definately be one of those. A trip to the ER (or worse) is just not worth it. He wouldn't even get to watch all of it, becuase just the smell of peanuts can make him sick. With the drastic rise in Nut Allergies, maybe someday this Minor League Field will add a PA-section in the next 10 years.

We have attended several Bats games at Slugger Field. This ballpark is awesome! The designers did a great job, everything that you want at the game is very handy and there really aren't any bad seats depending on what you plan to do at the game. It is a very family oriented and kid friendly ballpark, all at a bargain price. Oh, by the way, the Bats are super too! Good luck against the Bulls!

We are from out of town and it was a spur of the moment event we took on, we had such a great time and the stadium is extremely nice and enjoyable. The Bats gave a great effort, although they did loose, but overall the fans and city of Louisville is a great place to come and visit.
