The Stellar Awards are the pinnacle of gospel music. This was my wife s birthday present and one she will remember for a life time. Our seating was behind the VIP seating so it was amazing. The performances and show was out of this word. If we never make another event this was enough.

You could tell they had a lot of issues going on in the back! So much stalling became kinda annoying! I'm use to live takings but this year was out of control! Performances were just ok! Shirley Caesars and Kirk's set were the best! Fred's set was just ok, shouldn't have been the shows opener.

Show was great and the event was worth the experience. What was also impressive is the flexibility of having a Ticket Master acct. I left my printed copy of my ticket behind and could not find my confirmation email. The facility of the event provided an email address so I logged into my account shared my info with hotel email address and they printed copy for me. Tragedy averted of missing my show.

I really loved the Pre-show. The performing artists were great. Lonnie and Marcus were good MCs but "Lexie" went too far in some of her comments. Some of her observations were cruel, not funny, and very inappropriate for this venue. New female MC needed that will not insult others.

The Stellar Awards production was great. However, because the usher seated us on the wrong side of the arena, then discovered her mistake after several complaints, when she finally took us to the right seats, the two gentleman refused to move, stating their were "fillers". These two gentleman, then became belligerent cursing and threatening us. We asked the usher to get the police, afterwhich they ran. I'm appalled that this happened at a Gospel event, unbelievable. I called a few days later and spoke with the arena general manager, who basically said he can't control what people say....he didn't even care to look into the matter. This auditorium has the reputation of drawing an undesirable crowd, and obviously the security and ticket usher's lack the same professionalism as management.

The event felt unorganized. Seating was not well done. My seat was being sat in by someone else. There was a lady next to me who wasn't even supposed to be in the area. The staff didn't make sure that I got my appropriate seat. The Stellar Awards needs much improvement. Next year is the 30th year, I hope they improve, GREATLY.

Enjoyed all performances, disliked the venue, and at times it seemed like a Gospel star roast. It was embarassing for me and I can imagine what the stars may have felt. Maybe more classier host/hostesses may be better next time. Steve Harvey is the classiest host I know that can be a comedian and host at an affair such as the Stellars was meant to be.

The Stellar Awards show this year was just OK. The Nashville Municipal Auditorium was no way near the experince of the Grand Ole Opry. We attended the show last year and we are thoroughly imporessed. Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary were much better hoasts than Sheri Sheppard and Ricky Smiley. Their comments and jokes seemed forced and uncomfortable. There were many more areas of silence during commercial breaks than last year. I would suggest planning for next year to start now. I understand there are numerous factors to organizing a show of this magnatude, yet if we plan early we can get back into the Grand Ole Opry or another suitable venue.

First of all my ticket master experience was on point. My tickets were at will call when I arrived. The event was so well organized from start to finish. Everyone involved was so nice. The auditorium had great seating from any view. I recommend going to the Stellar Awards show live a must!!!! Very different than looking from a tv home setting.

The event itself was fantastic although we could not see the faces of the artist from our seats. The crowd sitting on the floor were boring, however and they made the whole "live" recording not so fun. After a while they began to show the faces of the artists on the screen so with time it turned into a remarkable experience

This was a bucket list item for me. I wanted to attend an award show and I am glad it was this one. I have been missing good gospel music and the Stellar awards delivered. My husband and I attended the three evening events. Loved them. The price was excellent. We saw over 40 performances Thursday for $25.00. I am glad we could attend 3 shows for two people for less than$300.00. These prices allowed us to travel all the way from Michigan. I was glad to see the level of professionalism, organization and glamor. The host each night kept the show moving with a great deal of humor that drew me in. I appreciated that you held the event in a hotel that we could stay in, convenient. The shows were fantabulous. And yes I was glad there was a red carpet.

The energy was very high. The show was very well put together .There were a few things that could have been better but overall I enjoyed the show. Not sure if the venue was built to make sure everyone sees no matter where you sit but additional screen besides the one for those in the sections at the very top would be nice. Just to enhance the viewing experience. It was my first but wont be my last.

The Stellar Awards, is a fantastic show. Great acts, awesome music and a good time to be had. Sometimes it drags just a little but nothing you can't handle. Warning!!!!! The have the air conditioner set to "freeze your butt off". Some people left because it was simply too cold. We weathered the storm until 30 minutes before the show ended. My wife, who likes cool weather, was shaking at times and she had my coat wrapped around her. Some people had blankets wrapped around them. They obviously attended the show before. Next year we'll bring heavy coats. Enjoy!

I attended and thoroughly enjoyed the Stellar Awards in January 2012, but the 2013 Stellar Awards was superfantastic. Not only were the musical presentations excellent, but the artists ministered the songs, especially Ms. Tamala Mann, Rev. Marvin Winans, Rev. Marvin Sapp, and Rev. Donnie McClurkin. I admire the strength displayed by Rev. McClurkin after having lost his mother less that 24 hours prior to the show and the support given to him by others. This will be one of my annual events as long as God will allow.

Much better than I had imagined. I got to see all the best of the best singers in person when they received their awards plus I saw all the live shows between the awards. Music and the audience was moving. I highly recommend to all and I will attend again!! I also appreciated the fact that people did not stand up in front of me the entire evening, It was wonderful. The Host was perfect, funny, and did a wonder job too. He helped to make it more memorable for everyone.

Wish Tamela Mann had more time --- she brought the Holy Spirit in that place. Tribute for Inez needed more time also. Always nice to hear Shirley Ceasar. And Mary Mary w/Kirk was a good choice for hosts. The show going live is nice, but the audience missed the opportunity for any worship.

I enjoyed the show. I would definitely buy a seat in the balcony again, only more center and the first row of the balcony. The woman in front of me decided to stand up on every song which was not a good thing, but the show was fantastic.

There's so much more you experience as an attendee than watching from home with pre-show and after show events. You also get to see the artists when the stage lights go out and see them share their heart behind the music or even show a comedic side in between commercial breaks or just by running into them at the hotel. It was also great to be part of this historic event of the Stellar's being aired live on GMC for the first time. I would definitely recommend getting your ticket next year!

Wonderful event! I plan on going next year, although I will go to the pre-awards show next time around. I missed some great performances. Additionally I will buy seats closer to the stage. I was in the top balcony, and although acoustics were wonderful, the height was intimidating.

Really enjoyed the Stellars...I was in hte upper balcony...that was very high, scary feeling at first, but we got over it, lol but we were center so it was still a good view....one issue that i had was that the ticket showed that the show started at 4:30 but in reality the show started at 6pm...i was quite annoyed by that....and it seemed to be a known thing by the ushers, others who have been before...another thing I didn not know was that a shuttle will take u there or understanding parking tha t is close to the actual venue....But the overal experience was great...the artist that performed were wonderful...i'm sure I would go again..

This was a great time. If you have never been to the actual event versus watching on the TV you will be very entertained. You get to really see and experience what it takes to get a show ready for TV. The MC that was at this event was great - this was not the two hosts - he was incredible and kept it great.

The awards program was fantastic. I think the entrie program was very good from beginning to end. I would have love to have seen more performances. The only thing I was unaware of was events that took place prior to and/or after the award program. Personally, I think the program should be extended to include all the awards and not just the limited ones that were presented during the taping. Otherwise, an exceptional event.

The was the most amazing show thus far, i was excited to be up close and personal with the gospel industry.My birthday is Jan 16 and this is how i celebrate 54 years although i purchase 55.00 dollars nose bleed seats next year i will buy 100.00 seats cuz it rough moving around as an extra .

From start to finish, the Stellar Awards was an amazing night of incredible and inspirational performances and presentations. The artists that performed were definitely some of the best "voices" and entertainers in the music industry. Their gifts, and talents were mind-boggling. My wife and I had a great view and was able to see these uber- creative artists up close. The production staff were quite professional. They involved the audience and made us feel that we were important to the success of the awards show. I recommend this to anyone who is a gospel music lover and enthusiast. I hope that I can make attending the Stellar Awards an annual family tradition.
