Wu Tang Clan FOREVER, oversold 400 tickets that sucked for the people who missed out. The Wu came on late but it happens. Although the performance was amazing for some reason this is the first time at the kool haus I heard some crackling noises and speaker problems.

Show started at 8 but they didn't come out until 10:50 thats why I gave them 4 stars. Some of the opening acts weren't that bad. Even though we had to wait almost 3 hours for them to finally come on stage, it was waaaay worth it! They are excellent performers. They whole crowd was hyped up, singing along, putting up W's!! It was a really, really good show I will most definitely go to another one! Another bad this was that Ghostface and Raekwon weren't there.

the only negative was that RZA didn't show but other than that it was a great show and a great venue. the opening acts sucked but the wu's performance made sitting through that garbage all worth while.

A native NYer now in ATL, I was praying for a night of music to return me to my youth. I got that. All was good. Lots of dudes on stage and smoke everywhere. Like home. Don't know if I like the ODB's son thingy though. It was more of a caricature than how we saw ODB. Rza? Should add, my date said it was the best night of his life. LOL.

Energy was great, but audio was terrible and you could rarely make out the lyrics over the noise. They only had one good mic on stage, but that's not the only reason this was a disappointing show. RZA was not there - found out he was filming a movie. GZA, my favorite, was completely out of it and could barely get his lines out on time. Inspectah wasn't sharp. Rae, Ghost and Method put in a good effort but I would have liked more precision and less yelling. Adjust those levels! Surprisingly the guys who were the sharpest were Masta Killa and Cappadonna. They put the heart into their few verses. At least the Wu played all of the hits, if only a few verses from each. Also played some of the solo hits, which was nice. Bottom line is that it was good from a nostalgic point of view, but not worthy of 50 bones in my opinion.

17+ years and still hitting hard. Boundless energy, song after song, for nearly two hours. No messing around, the Clan hit all the classics from 36 and Reunited, along with notable individual-project efforts like Ice Cream, 4th Chamber, and even--surprisingly--Da Rockwilda. Thrilled to have finally seen the team in action, and well-rewarded for my 3+ hour drive. These guys are world-class performers, every one, and still pack a high level of energy.

I was fortunate to get the opportunity to see Wu-Tang, as I have been trying to get out to see them ever since the Reunion Tour started at Coachella 3 years ago. I must say that whoever was promoting the show did a very poor job with the opening acts, namely the number of opening acts. Have you ever been to a show where there were over 5 openers? It almost seemed as if after the Real Openers were done, they just decided to just throw homies and friends on stage to kill time. It has been sometime since the last show where I have seen grow @$$ adults throwing drinks and bottles on stage and at artists because they just weren't feeling it! On the plus side, Wu performed exactly as I would have expected! Great stage presence, played out most of first & part of the second album. Each artist played out one of their original solo joints, and everything I expected to hear was out there! Big ups for that. 4th & B is generally a great venue, especially for Hip-Hop shows, but I must say that I probably won't be going to another show there for a while unless they are promoted by another company, as the time waiting for a headliner was well over anticipated and potentially ruined the night if it wasn't for Meth & Wu pulling it together by the end of the night. I think the night could have been better if it appeared to operate like a well oiled machine, instead of a Hip-Hop Showcase featuring the infamous Wu-Tang... Killer Bees for Life, RIP ODB

The show was great despite the long wait for the main performers, but I'm glad it didn't get crazy even though people were getting impatient including me. The Nokia Club was a great place for WUTANG to play, but they should've noted that there were other performers before them. Overall I loved it!!!

It was great to see the Wu after all these years. They were great. Living legends in the rap game. They have done it all. The perfomances were filled with energy and enthusiasm. They were looking for more energy and support from the crowd, but you know LA crowds, they are the toughest and least appreciative. Great song selections, great flows etc. Club Nokia's sound was terrible all night. All prior acts had to keep switching mics. When the Wu got on they asked for the sound to be turned up, modified, over and over again. They were hard to hear etc. I complained to the manager and he said they chose the sound and Nokia just uses the levels the Wu chose. That was bogus, becuase the Wu did not get there till 11pm and all prior acts had sound problems. Nokia sucks and I will not go back there again.

Man, I've been a fan of the Wu since I was in middle school back in '94. I've seen Method Man with Inspectah Deck and Masta Killa at the House of Blues in Anaheim back in '06. I saw Ghostface Killah bring the RZA out and do all the classics at the HOB on Sunset earlier this year. Method Man and Redman were the headliners at the Ghost show, but they gave a less than great performance. Outside of that, both of those shows were ridiculous! The energy (and buddah) was flowing and the performances were on point to say the very least. I thought with the whole Wu in the building, it was gonna be an epic experience. Unfortunately, like with most things in life, it turned out to be a disappointment. The show started around 8:15 with some garbage opening acts (except for La the Darkman who ripped it up! Brooklyn Zoo wasn't too bad either to be legit with you). The Wu didn't come out until around 11:15-11:30pm. On top of that, Method Man announced the RZA wasn't there (due to shooting a movie in China supposedly) much to the crowd's and my own dismay. To make a much longer story short, the show was subpar. Method Man brought his usual energy, and it was great to see the entire Wu (minus the RZA & O.D.B.), I would have been better off just watching the live DVD (they released a few years back before O.D.B. passed on) and getting more than the 3 1/2 hours of sleep I got that night. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be paying to see the Wu anytime soon.

To get to the point, I left the venue after waiting 3-4 hrs inside watching opening acts and listening to the music mix they had on loop (listening to the same songs TWICE) They kept saying they were running late, but my friend & I decided to bounce @ 11. Good job WU, on being late for a show on a Sunday afternoon. Really wanted to see WU TANG perform, but unfortunately I wasted 48 bucks on a ticket to basically watch Brooklyn Zoo,Black Knights,La Da' Darkman and some random dudes. WU TANG (took) FOREVER...36 Chambers still getting bumped tho.

We are HUGE fans of Wu-Tang Clan... but come on Club Nakia..that many talanted musicians on stage at one time, need cordless microphones the AMAZING WU-TANG CLAN were triping over the cords and getting frustrated with the sound engineers for screeching feed back. Besides the mics, cords and screetching we had a great evening.

I would have given this event 5 stars but the tickets said to arrive at 6:30pm. I stood in line for half an hour until they finally let us in. Then we stood and waited and waited and waited some more, listening to cds being played. Then we stood and waited some more. As time passed everyone was getting irritated. The crowd kept chanting WU-Tang...then we waited some more. We watched a total of 5 opening acts. We waited and waited. Apparently La the Dark Man was supposed to go on at 8pm and Wu Tang was supposed to come on at 8:45pm. Well that didn't happen. Wu Tang didn't come on til after 11pm. So at this point, I had been standing for 4 and 1/2 hours. Not only did my feet hurt but I looked around and several others were sitting too. My legs ached and my feet hurt, I could barely stand through the entire performance, my fiance had to help me stand so I could watch the show. I love the Wu Tang Clan. I have been a fan for 15 years. This was one performance I really wanted to see. The sound was messed up. Method Man even pointed this out and during some songs, I couldn't even hear him. I wanted to purchase some merchandise after the show but Club Nokia decided to usher us out so we didn't pass the merchandise but went down a back stairway. I really didn't like the venue. I think they didn't respect the performers. I don't know if it was Wu Tang or the venue that caused the performance to start so late. I am just sad I wasn't able to enjoy it as much as I would have if I wasn't standing for 6 + hours.

Saw the Clan at Club Nokia in LA. Reefer smoke filled the air as the Wu took the stage. It was the illest hip-hop show I've been to. RZA was in China, but besides that, everyone held it down. Young Dirty Bastard filled his daddy's shoes quite nicely. Ghostface and Meth stole the show though, with their tight deliveries and smooth flows. Cappy even showed up, jizzin' like a giant!

This was my first time seeing the Wu & I was extremely excited. I went with a guy who is a veteran Wu fan & HE was excited, which rubbed off on me. Wu Tang didn't take the stage til 12:30 a.m. (1:30 my time cuz I live in Arizona). A lot of the crowd were annoyed (as was I) at how long they took, and they booed some of the warm-up acts. It was pandemonium when they finally came on and I'm sure the die hards loved 'em. I enjoyed it, but I was worn out. My companion loved it. Still, I'm glad I got to experience their show & if I had the opportunity I would see them again, in the hopes that the 2nd experience would be better.

They opened the doors at 8. Wu Tang didn't come on until 12:30 and played for a little over an hour. There was like 8 opening acts and 3 DJs. Most of them sucked and couldn't get past the boos and chants of Wu Tang. Wu Tang put on a good little show, but the wait was far too long.

Every artist was extremely talented. Pharoahe, Talib, and the Wu... All did as expected and rocked the house. Wu Tang had a spirited performance and had the audience jumping off the walls. Lots of fun. Side note: This was my first time at the Forum and I have to admit I'm impressed. The bathrooms were new. Clean. And comfortable. Lots of bars. And the seating was fairly comfortable. My only gripe is exiting. It was kind of a pain in the butt trying to leave the forum as everyone else was too. They need more outlets.

Wu Tang Clan could have been replaced with 15 high school kids messing around on a karaoke machine and nobody would have noticed, they had such little charisma or stage presence. This looked like an easy payday. They didn't bother to excite the crowd for the entrance. The intro was non existent. They could have at least dropped a black curtain from in front of the Wu Tang Clan banner that was revealed 20 mins before they got on stage. Once on stage, they looked like a bunch of random lads on a stage. There was no effort to introduce any production value or choreography, nor was the sound quality good enough to even make the mediocre performance any better. Finally, there were at least 20 people at each side of the back of the stage that was a ridiculous distraction. A bunch of hangers-on who looked disinterested and added to the shambles of a performance. This wasn't a cheap night out and I could of much better ways to spend the money. The only saving grace was the support acts who put more effort into their performances and seemed to respect the fact that people had paid to see them.

So after 5 opening acts, Wu Tang finally came on stage around 10. They only performed for an hour which was very disappointing as I've been waiting to see this concert with all or most of the original members. My favorite was Pharoah Monch. I wish he had longer to play. The only critique is that the sound mixers didn't have the microphones adjusted properly because there was a lot of reverb in the forum from the bass and sometimes it was hard to hear the vocals. This could have been fixed by turning up the microphones.

Wu Tang was amazing. The group before them, whomever they were, were terrible, just terrible. And they tried to pose as Wu also which made me dislike them more. My main issue is with ticketmaster and nokia. They did not properly inform ticket buyers about how the general admission worked. Online, verbatim, it said that the pit was first come first serve. So we got there early. Not true, you had to pay more at the time of sale for pit admission. I would have had it been made clear. Whole thing was a little upsetting, as I was really looking forward to the show. Still enjoyed seeing them though, everyone showed. Was a little nervous after reading reviews from past shows saying that one or more members didn't end up making it.

Opening acts were O.K. This venue is small. There were a couple of bars - the bartenders were friendly & overall it was a great crowd. The sound was O.K. Wu-Tang Clan did not come on stage until around 10p.m. When they did, they KILLED IT! Method Man & RZA delivered as always. Bummer, Ghostface wasn't there. NYC Early 90\u2032s. Baggy jeans that required constant pulling up. Sweatshirts with army jackets. Timberland boots. If you were there, you remember. We were impressionable teenagers, living in the city producing music that continues to live on forever, in the midst of one of the greatest golden eras of hip-hop. The idea of a rap supergroup was in its heyday. Will give props to anyone who can STILL name all Wu Tang members (FYI Wu includes Inspecktah Deck, Raekwon, Ghostface, Method Man, Rza, Gza, U-God, Masta Killa, and ODB). Could hold out hope, that will be the question to a Jeopardy answer one day (not likely). Nostalgically listening to Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers) , that era seems like yesterday. Am still amazed with that many members in a group how they were able to get all of them on tracks. Learning that the Clan was coming through LA again, I wanted to stroll down memory lane again. Having seen Method Man and Redman and Raekwon and Ghostface at earlier Rock the Bells shows, I knew Wu would be hype live. Was definitely looking forward to throwing up the Wu sign and observing the dynamics of the collective crew together. After a few mediocre opening acts (with one-act having one member that only came on stage to drink out of a red plastic frat boy party cup and smoke) minus the house DJ who played some decent songs, Wu Tang emerged from the gravel pit around 11 PM with one member spraying champagne on the audience. Missing Raekwon and Ghostface (not happy about that) but plus Cappadonna and Streetlife ( uh ok), the sold-out place went nuts. They did all the classics with Method Man, doing the heavy lifting trying to make up for the missing members, also performing his classic solo joints like Bring the Pain . He played to the crowd all night, encouraging moshing, jumping and then eventually crowd surfing. They also did a tribute to their deceased member, ODB, with Shimmy Ya . Have to admit cringing a little at the references of women in some of the songs and am not a fan of the girls in bikinis that were in their videos but I appreciated it for what it was at the time. Ending the set with my favorite song of theirs, Protect Ya Neck , the crowd knew every single word including kids who couldn t have been more than fetuses when their début album came out. But that s the beautiful thing about classic hip-hop, the youth will discover it all over again. The ruckus was brought and yes C. still R.E.AM.

The Wu Tang Clan definitely lived up to the hype as one of great rap groups of all time. BUT they still have the problem of all them not being able to show up for their shows. :-( Raekwon and Ghostface were missing from the performance and you would think that, after being away for so many years, they all would have been on this tour. If Ghost and Rae are on the tour you would think they would definitely make the L.A. stop. It is for their absence and the weakness of the opening acts (they could have let the white female DJ that was spinning before any of the acts came out keep going as far as I am concerned) that I only gave the show 4 stars. Other than that the show was fun and shows that real hip hop is still out there and this crap nowadays is just that CRAP! Long live the Wu and long live hip hop!

First of all WuTang was freakin AMAAAAZING!! Kinda missed Raekwon & Ghostface who are my favs besides Cappadonna and Meth, but they put on a damn show so I was not disappointed. Love the fact that they play smaller venues so the fans can be so close..and u can't beat a $45 ticket price to be in the pit. Doors opened a little past 8pm but we got through security really quickly. Now, I gave 3 stars because there were WAAAAYYY too many freakin' opening acts...SERIOUSLY! 3 hours after the doors open to see the main act is far beyond insanity. When I saw them in Vegas a few years ago, they started only an hour past doors opening. After the 3rd act, I think I just lost count. Venue staff was confused about the whole wristband situation & I had to throw my brand new pack of gum away at security (what kind of weapon is gum????)!

Wu-Tang was great but all those opening acts were killing me. I'd rather have a DJ play music from that era. 90's hip hop. Forget Brooklyn zoo and Black knights. Plus I was disappointed that that there was no ghost and chef. Method Man puts on a great show with lots of energy.

They had a separate line for ladies which was awesome. I wish I could pick and choose the crowd because people are so creepy and weird nowadays! But other then that, the mosh pit was awesome! Method Man really worked the crowd! All the openers were lame! Black Knight was okay but I was there for the WU! Rza, Gza and Method Man were my absolute favorite performers. Ghostface Killah did not make the show but I honestly didn't miss him. The show was awesome!

The Clan has so many hits and so much energy. They do a great job of getting the crowd hype and bringing it for more than 1 1/2 hours.

Took to long to come on stage. No seats for the amount of wait time. Wanted to leave after 1st two acts. Show was just ok considering seasoned artists. Most likely will not attend any of their shows again.

Pros: - RZA was there - The set list included some different songs. Cons: - No Ghost, Rae or GZA. - Too many corny Marky Marks trying to look hard in Red Sox caps. I mean really? Is there a yuppier, richer, more suburban fan base than the Red Sox? You can't be hard if you rock a Sox cap.

The Wilbur Theatre that had Wu-Tang was one of the worst venues I have ever been to. First off, their acoustics were horrible and I could barely make out any of the lyrics. They do not allow you to even step outside of the theatre then step back in, and while you are in there it seems like you are being watched by at least 3 or 4 security personell at all times. It feels opressive and the crowd couldn't even get amped because of this. And no smoking was allowed at a Wu-Tang concert which doesnt make any sense to me.

WUTANG WAS ILL. they threw a RIDICULOUS concert, the whole floor was jumpin and bumpin and even in the balcony people were feeling the vibe. memorable moments: meth made the energy soar and the rza dropped straight knowledge a Capella style. the bad: WILBUR THEATER EVICTS SMOKERS. other than that, the concert was off the wall

Concert was supposed to start at 8 but they didn't go on until 10. Two weak opening acts and then the Clan finally came on. Unfortunately no ghost, gza or Raekwon really ruined the show as all of the songs were disjointed. In total they performed for 45 minutes. As a real fan of Wu Tang I was extremely disappointed.

I made the mistake of getting GA tickets for this show at Wilbur- There were people enjoying illegal substances and I was punished as a bystander multiple times as the security crew were roughing up 18 year olds who were peacefully trying to exit. I got shoved, stepped on and even hit in result and it was an awful experience. Also extremely ironic considering the Wu was enjoying copious amounts of marijuana on stage. Would have been a much better show elsewhere- i don't know who makes these decisions but the Wilbur should have never allowed this type of crowd if they were going to invite this type of disruption As far as the band goes- they were great- high energy and I would see them again but in a 420 friendly venue.

I have seen these guys perform many times and I have to say this time was probably the best. It seemed like everyone came with an unprecedented amount of energy the show was nuts. Method man was of course killing it and it was great to see the Rza come out. Sadly Ghostface and Raekwon weren't there but that didn't take too much away from the show.

The concert was awesome! Wu Tang is the best rap group ever! The rumors of Spose opening and him not showing up was awesome. Spose Sucks! The microphones were awful, could barely understand the lyrics. You should have the Roots play there.

I have been a fan of Wu Tang my whole life and have been to about 7 of their concerts. Its just the same thing every single time. They need to have different songs. All of their albums are outstanding but they stick to the same old routine. You would have to wait for about 2 hours for them to come out and they only perform for about an hour and a half. I recommend this event to someone who has not seen them live or who wants to see the same thing.
