Hardwell

Dutch DJ Hardwell (born Robbert van de Corput) is a major player on the worldwide EDM concert scene. As a matter of fact, the self-taught progressive and electro house DJ/music producer earned the 2013 title of world’s No. 1 DJ from DJ Magazine, the same night DJ powerhouse Tiesto received the Top 100 DJs Legend Award. (Tiesto and Hardwell both hail from the Dutch town of Breda.

This was my first time attending a concert at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and I will have to say I was extremely impressed! The venue size was great, and they had an adequate number of bars and smoking section. Logistics aside Hardwell was Amazing!! His set was i'd say 2 hours and he held me the whole time. Got to hear some new tracks and some oldies but goodies. Overall was an epic weekend. Only complaint would be that they ran out of tanks the night I went but I can order one online.

Even though the LED lights weren't working, Hardwell played a great set. Everyone looked great in their costumes also, as it was Halloween. My only criticism was that Hardwell changed songs every 30 seconds just as I was getting into a song. Upon speaking to my friends, they explained to me that Hardwell was catering to the "college student" crowd as the venue was at the UIC Pavillion. Either way though, it was a really fun concert I had a great time. The lasers, confetti, nitrous tanks etc. were on point.

The event was great. His music was not disappointing, his vibe was definitely there and kept the crowd live. The only disappointing part was that the LED background lights were not working. I think that would've topped the night off because of it, but either way, Hardwell did great, the lights just sucked because they didn't work. The pavilion itself could've done a better job on their booths in the lobby for beer. The lines weren't bad to wait in, but the limit of two cups per person was a lack in money for them. To top it off, they ran out of Bud Light within the first two hours. They didn't even let us know if they were coming back with more, or were out for the night.

His lights didn't work, played the same beats over and over, 3 2 1 go. It was a Halloween show and hardwell didn't even dress up. Played a lot of deadmau5 mixes. Hardwell Kept turning his back to the crowd and would drink. Very dissapoited in the show.

I highly recommend Hardwell. The LED visual screens were not working due to technical difficulties, but that was ok because the music speaks for its self.

It was absolutely the best show I have ever seen! It was unreal to see my favorite dj do what he does best. Hardwell definitely knows how to put on a show. Also, Dannic & Dyro were amazing as well. Dutch House Mafia makes an outstanding group together. Definitely would want to see them play again!

This was my first time seeing Hardwell live (and hopefully not the last!). I must say the venue was awesome. My first time at Sands in Bethlehem and they did a good job (minus the lines before the show). The bar is awesome there too! Hardwell was incredible! The set he played, the lights with the music and the confetti. The confetti was my favorite part when the beat dropped. He even played some random dutch music! Go see him!! Dannic and Dyro opened for him and they really got you going as well.

I have never walked out of anything I've paid for, but I walked out of this event. Dannic started off slow and then built momentum. Dyro had a set that, I swear, was entirely in the same key with the same BPM. Maybe a little too drunk? He couldn't mix anything. Hardwell opened with hip hop...? No thanks. Stuck around a little bit longer and it did not improve. They didn't play any of their vocal mixes. He is not worthy of his #1 status.

Best (and only) venue close to home willing to host such a show. The place was packed full, so it was hard to access the restrooms or bar; but what can you expect from a sold out show? ;p One of the opening act DJ's were horrible (Dj Anthony L), honestly. He couldn't mix his songs together at all on stage, I had to stop counting the mistakes by 8 or so; but the headlining acts simply made that all disappear. Perhaps I am being critical, as well, since I am also a DJ and can detect the slightest of mistakes immediately. I even heard Dannic make a slight error, but it was immediately remedied, unlike the opening act.

It was my first EDM concert and the people definitely made it terrible. Bros everywhere and underage girls mostly naked. It was pretty uncomfortable. Hardwell didn't come on until after midnight, 4 hours after the start time. Dannic and Dyro didn't start until after 10pm. By that time everyone was bored of the local DJ and just standing around on their phones. It could have been a million times better if it was a 21+ show and if it started on time.

Glitter and gold was definitely a experience of a life time !! The VIP tickets weren't really worth it as we got in at the same time as the people in iur group that had general addmision , hardwell totally had the best set , wish he coulda stayed in Calgary for New Years though , Dyro killed it after hardwell !! Keeping up with the beat , all of the other djs that were there played the same mixes over and it kinda got old , but all in all hardwell and dryo made that show worth it !!

The concert lasted exactly until 3 AM. Hardwell came on around 11:30 and played only until 1ish. Then, some random guy took over until 3 AM. At times, I thought the random guy was better than Hardwell.

I was speechless the whole time. I drove 4 hours just to come to this concert and it was well worth it. Hardwell has made this experience so amazing and beautiful I will always go the exta mile to see him. You should too! He really makes us, "the lucky ones".

This show was an amazing show. Hardwell was amazing. The only downfall was line was wrapped around the park so i took a while to get in and I really wish he had played longer than 3 hours. But overall it was worth it. I'd definitely recommend going and would definitely go again.

What a great concert put on by Hardwell & Dannic! They played a great amount of time and just great energy and very organized. The only negative was multiple people getting into the seats and crowding the people, like myself, who had been there since the gates opened.
