Virginia Beach Patriotic Festival

I am so impressed with the city of Virginia Beach having a weekend to honor our military men and women. Darius Rucker put on an unforgettable concert for me! It was my birthday and this by far was the best birthday ever! It makes me proud to know Darius supports our military. It was also a tearful moment for me when he spoke about his cousin, a Merchant Marine seeing him perform for the first time! Everything was absolutely wonderful and will definitely be back next year. However, I will be there many more weekends this summer! Love Virginia Beach and what the city is doing! Really love Darius Rucker!

Great show. However VB municipal parking was poor for a crowd of this size. Traffic leaving and arriving was poorly handled. Would have taken public transportation if available. Rail service from Norfolk or town center would've been awesome to reduce congestion and be awesome for economic development. Pit Sounded awesome. As I was leaving during the last song the sound quality away from the pit was poor. Screens/monitors were set low to the ground near the stage and hard to see for people not near the front. Recommend setting screen higher off the ground so more people can see or repeat the screen/sound farther away from the stage.

This was my first Patriotic Festival. My husband, a veteran, also joined me at this three day festival. We both truly enjoyed it and plan on making this a yearly trip. Unforgettable!!

This show was Massive! So many Massive individuals in one place it was incredible we all fit!

I was super excited to see Darius Rucker, and everyone else, but mostly Darius. During the concert a set of speakers went out. I could barely hear him. Secondly, I paid for VIP seats and they were so far away we had to watch the whole festival on a large screen. Finally there were a large number of inebriated people there that were acting inappropriately and nothing was being done about it. It was my worst concert experience of my life.

was there all 3 nights! Saw legends Lynard Skynard and Alabama. Also got to here some of my favorite songs performed by Chase Rice and Lee Brice. and a huge shout out to Alec Edmonds very talented young man!!!
