Quite an amazing collection of talent, each held to two songs in order to fit them all in. Mr. Brooks' sons both played wonderfully and it felt almost like being invited to a private family function with their several hundred best friends. Also loved that Shemekia Copeland was there, that Big Head Todd came out and chatted with people in the audience after his set, that Dan Aykroyd was having so much fun announcing. Great time, but it was a one-of-a-kind show. Happy 80th, Lonnie.

This was an amazing show, and probably the best live performance I've seen all year. The line-up was amazing, including a couple guys I'm sorry to say I had never heard of, and all were fantastic. If you missed it, too bad - you shoulda been there :-)

it was awesome to see very talented musicians pay homage to the great masters, giving them the respect they earned and deserve. I am sure Lonnie has helped a lot of people. the only down-side was referencing Ronnie and Wayne carrying on the blues family tradition as if the old master is going to pass soon. The letters read by Dan Akroyd from Governor Pat Quinn and Mayor Rahm Emanual, of the Great City of Chicago honoring a poor boy who made Good was a nice touch also.. Otis Clay was awesome as well. I honestly cannot remember all their names. For awhile, I was writing them down until I ran out of room on the receipt I was writing on.
