The Struts were the act to beat! They could put on a clinic for how to win over an audience. They deserve to have a later billing, so they can look and sound fabulous in front of a bigger crowd. Our Lady Peace was a nice break in between POD and Papa Roach. This was Papa Roach's first time to headline, and they did not disappoint. Jacoby wandered into the crowd several times and made the show as intimate as he could. Interviews and autograph signings were a bonus! Can't recommend The Struts enough.

The location of the second stage was so far away that you either had to leave one band early or miss the beginning of the next set. One band cancelled, (no fault of the organizers) and the new show times were never clearly explained, leaving us in the dark about when to be at what stage. Otherwise the venue was well kept, cleaned between sets, well staffed with knowledgeable and friendly people, and my overall experience was great.

This was an amazing day! As expected, the prices of beer and food were a bit much, but this is something one should anticipate for a concert. There were thousands of people there, yet I didn't see any excessive stupidity. The entertainers were fabulous, coming out into the crowd and really getting the fans riled up. I wish I could attend these type of events for a living! I will be back to the next Buzzfest.

I usually go to most Buzzfest and for some reason I really didnt like Buzzfest 24. I felt like there was way to much slow rock. For example, people on the lawn didnt start the Moshpit till about 4pm. Only liked the last 2 performances and Limp Bizkit made it worth waiting for.

Loved Buzz fest 2010! This was a 16th birthday present for my son-VIP tickets. He really loved seeing and meeting several bands. He was disappointed Papa Roach, Seether and Shinedown only mingled at the autograph booth. Loved Sick Puppies, Drowning Pool and Seven Day Binge-they are awesome!! The VIP area was a little strangley set up- sat in a folding chair behind a fence and the stage was not very visible. Also the "private porta potties" for VIP? Three toilets that were already gross before the event started!! The food was great and it was nice to have a beer and soda vendor to our area. The shows were really GREAT! The music ROCKED all night. Loved the local bands as well. On a whole the night was really great!! Thanks Buzz 102.9!!!

Very fun. All the Bands were great! 30 Seconds to Mars was Amazing! Flyleaf and Limp Bizket were also Great! Three Days Grace had FIRE!! The only thing I don't like is that once a band finishes on one stage, the next band begins at the same time on the other stage. So i missed like 10 to 15 minutes of one of the bands, whether I leave early from one stage, or arrive late to the next one. But still over all, I LOVED IT!!!!

They had a great line up. I loved all the bands. The most interactive was 30 Second to Mars and Limp Bizkit. I went back and forth to both the side stage and main stage so I could see everyone. I didn't get to see Anchored, Metric, Switchfoot and Crash kings but I saw everyone else. There was one time when the stereo went out for a bit when Sick Puppies were singing but it came back on. I enjoyed this show immensly. I love Seether, Three days grace, Deftones, Flyleaf, 30 seconds to Mars, 10 years, and Limp Bizkit so I had to see this show. Cage the Elephant had immense energy. Sick puppies is one of my friends favorite bands so I knew they wouldn't disappoint. All in all, this show was GREAT!

Every Band was so full of energy. Limp Bizkit rocked it. So glad they made a comback. Three Days Grace and 30 Seconds To Mars jammed extra hard. Was 5 star lineup- but sucks that you can't see each band. If they are going to have the side stage completely away from the main stage, should be 10 minutes between acts so you can get from one to the other. I like the Edgefest in Frisco setup better where the stages are at either end of the field, and you can see/hear all acts. Problem there is the sound system is not near as good as at the Pavilion. This lineup was great. Rated from best to worst: 1. Offspring - of course 2. The Struts- these guys are going to be big. I got the same feeling as when I saw the Police on their first US tour (1977) 3. AWOL- problem here was had to leave the Offspring set and run around to side stage and wedge way thru to get close 4. Nothing But Thieves- wish they had been on side stage so could have been close to stage. And to you people that only pay attention to the song you've heard on the radio, if you come to the show, get into it or get out the way. 5. Cage the Elephant 6. Blue October 7. Fitz & Tantrums 8. Toadies, the rest of them I was kinda disappointed in Big Data

Not sure if it was just the audio settings for this event or all of the time, the acoustics were not great from where I was sitting. Singers were muffled. Concessions: Burgers were just awful and for such a high price they could at least been 'good' Beer prices have gone through the roof. 30 minute long lines at beverage concessions and couldn't get the flavor I wanted which was only 2 cashier stations away. Absolutely a huge letdown..

Let me start by saying I always attend buzzfest, every year. This year there were many different things that happened. From purchasing tickets online, there was no print option any more, per the venue to extremely long lines that did not move when purchasing food and drinks. I missed 40 minutes of a band playing up until Blue October and I decided to walk out the line. That has never happened to me before. It was disappointing because you are there for an all day event and this happened every time you got up to buy something. Restrooms were fine. It moved quickly. Overall, the bands were great.

After attending other concerts at this venue and Rockstar Mayhem Festival, this was huge let down. Although I knew the talent, the performers were very disappointing. The sound was not great. It is a horrible design with NO rest time between bands, that is ridiculous. It would be better if they could broadcast the second stage in the main area so that people could see and hear. Will NOT be attending this horrible event again.

Well well well, kinda disappointing. I have to say that this wasn't the best Buzzfest ever and we have been to a lot. Chevelle did rock the house, their setlist was awesome. Papa Roach was good too, Jacoby put on one of the best shows I have seen him do. But, that was it. The rest of the bands were ho hum. Crowd to the side stage was packed and couldn't see anything. I am glad we had reserved seats so we could come and go as we wanted, plus their were no lawn chairs sold for the lawn! So glad I wasn't on the lawn for this reason. This will probably be the last buzzfest I attend unless there is a fantastic headliner. I have preferred previous Buzzfests when they have four really really good main stage bands!! That's when it rocks.

I had an awesome time, but I hate the side stage. There's not enough time to run back and forth to see all the bands. You have to leave one band on the main stage early to run to the side stage to get a spot to see the next band and when there's ten bands it gets old. I missed half the songs they sang and on the side stage you will not see the band at all , not unless you skip the main stage and stay at the side stage to be in front. But if your not up for getting wet ,hit or in the mosh pit then I don't recommend the front. But overall I had fun just being there listening to music and having a blast.

Papa Roach, played so many of their Old School songs, it was great. However, they also played some newer songs. They did a great job of mixing things up. Jacoby (lead vocalist), went out into the audience for a long time. It was just simply amazing! Buzzfest was one kickass time! I 100% recommend anyone go!
Everything was fantastic... My favorite performance was Papa Roach the music and energy was head and shoulders above the rest! We had an amazing time! Thanks 94.5!
Dirty heads, Bush, and Shinedown were amazing! (My faves) Best experience I've had. All the bands were great! Can't wait to go again!!!! The only thing I hated was the expensive ass beer!!!!
Everything down to side stage was great! The best was when Gavin Rossdale from Bush jumped off stage and ran through the crowd and went all the way into the lawn area. Then Shinedown brought the house down. Good Times.
Even though I had bought Lawn tickets I found myself at the side stage in the front row against the metal fences . Had a blast despite getting kick in the face a couple of times from the endless waves of crowd surfers ,even caught one falling from the sky someone had tossed her over my head and I had seen her shadow from above and I held my arms out and hoped for the best luckily enough I caught her . The stone foxes were amazing "a band with endless potential" ,each group member can hold their own on stage between switching lead singing or instruments seems like they can each play the drums or sing hope to see more from them in near future . Lit put on a amazing show as well it was like a blast from the past took me back to my high school days from when I used listening to buzz in between classes . first time hearing Hollywood undead one of my best experiences ever they had the crowd pumped I swear we had some kind of record for crowd surfing the security guards couldn't keep up ,plus to top it all I met Rod Ryan and Theresa even if it was a short encounter it was very memorable.
I think the entire show was amazing!!! Thank you for bringing such awesome bands together in one day/evening! My only complaint is the back to back playing and 2 stages. I had to miss some of the shows to get to the other one in time. They were so far apart. Regardless, I LOVED EVERY MINUTE!
This was the best Buzzfest lineup in several years. Every single band was amazing so it is hard to say who I enjoyed the most. They are all some of my favorite bands and they all killed it!! That was my first time to see Bush and I was really looking forward to it. They did not disappoint; every single song was amazing. I loved when Gavin Rossdale came out into the audience as he was singing. I was so excited that I can't even remember what song he was singing. He is definitely nice to look at, too. I love their cover of the Beatles song. Staind was alo amazing; Aaron Lewis is incredibly talented. I could have watched them play for hours! I was at the front of the side stage for Switchfoot and POD-that was just insane!!

Arrived in time to catch Evans Blue wind up their set. To my delight Switchfoot then rocked the side stage with a good set. (time moved because AWOLNation was AWOL). Everlast put on a tight show but much better at there more mainstream songs vs. their LA skinhead/"scream-o" tunes. Missed the Sleeper Agent set cruising the vendors. Chevelle introduced "Face to the Floor" while covered their hits. As always very tight and great vocals. Seen POD 3 times recently so skipped the side stage again. Staind was surprising with a relaxed but passionate set. Very pleased for the first time I have caught them live. Caught most of 10 Years before grabbing another tasty adult beverage and hitting my seat for Bush. First time for me to catch Bush and OMG! Gavin gave it his all, even venturing deep into the crowd ala Eddie Veder. Fantastic set and tight, even "Sound of Winter" was right on! All-in-all, one of the best festivals I have been privileged to attend!! Thank you Houston Buzz !!!!!!!!!

The bands were great! Even though Awol Nation didn't show up because of illness, and Anberlin had singers from another band due to the singer's illness, it was AWESOME!!!!! The line up was great and the crowd was jammin! The prices at the pavilion were a bit high. $11 for a beer? I can get a six pack for that! The food was also a bit pricey, but good. Overall, The Buzz did a great job, despite their setbacks. The pavilion could use a bit of work on their pricing. Don't they know that the majority of Texas is poor right now?

Sunday was Buzzfest 26 and the overall word to describe it was.... plain. Usually I have a blast at Buzzfest but this time something was off, I'm guessing it was the line up. Flogging Molly was the most exciting and I had never even heard of them! Puddle of Mud played around which made them entertaining for a little while. Seether, oh my gosh please no more Seether! Every time I have seen them live I want to fall asleep, they don't interact well with their audience! The sad part is that I really enjoy their music. You couldn't understand Social D, the whole pit was screaming "turn up your mic!" Jane's Addiction was a good closer they had a good set up and great interaction! This was not a bad concert it just didn't even come close to my expectations set up by the other Buzzfests that I've been to.

Loved it, Janes Addiction played classic non radio hits, the chicks hanging from meat hooks were beautiful. Flogging Molly inspired a mosh pit on the lawn.. and a river dance off. Tons of great sidestage bands.. Evans Blue should have been on the main stage.. really everything about the day was great minus the price of beer... but who cares.. a few shots before you go takes away from the $11 pricetag per can.. Seether was GREAT.. wish they would have been closer to the end of the evening

I had never been to Buzzfest before but Bush and Papa Roach made the whole day worth going. I wasn't really disappointed that Anberlin didn't make it as I'm not that familiar. I went to Uproar last month and had a blast. We headed over to the side stage to check out one of the bands over there but the shortcut that was set up by the House of Blues for Uproar was blocked off and you had to walk all the way around from the south entrance to get to the side stage and then we only heard 1 song before the band left the stage. That's just too far to trek around to see the other bands when you just have to turn around and come back or miss the band on the main stage. The first and the last song from a band on any stage are always the most exciting, so I missed the rest of the side stage bands because I wasn't willing to sacrifice that experience nor was I ready to make myself so bone-tired from trekking back and forth for 10 hours that I couldn't enjoy the last act. There was also some difficulty in hearing the first 2 bands. Filter would have been very enjoyable if I had been able to hear them better. I missed the first song totally from Finger Eleven because the mic wasn't working. Then Papa Roach came out and they were exciting and LOUD! LOL. I've seen them here before and they never have a problem with the sound. They should give these other bands lessons on how to play this arena because they have it down pat! And Jakoby running across the chairs in the rows behind us was very exciting! I was especially excited to see Seether because I love them and have never seen them. Their stage presence was a little boring to follow up from Papa Roach but their musicality cannot be beat. Great set. Wished I had seen them in a smaller venue. They didn't have the great personalities for interacting with an arena audience that Jakoby has. Their performance was also marred by the fact that I had 2 people behind me that were too busy talking to each other over the music to listen to it. I've never heard two people talking over a band before sitting in the 4th row. Why pay for tickets if you're going to talk through the performance? Bush was my piece de resistance. I had tickets to see them ~12 years ago and they cancelled the concert and I never got the chance again. This sooooo made up for it. It was like no time had passed, except for the new song of course. I had bought it before going and wasn't sure I liked it, but I loved it once I heard it live. They were an awesome stage presence. Godsmack was OK. But they just couldn't impress me after Bush, and by that time there was a lot of fighting going on in the pit and around our seats. Too long a day and too much to drink for all those people, I guess, but it was very distracting. We didn't have any problems before 4:00 with moving people out of our seats, but once it was dark, people seemed to try to sit wherever as well and the security people were really put to work chasing people down, which was also distracting. I probably won't go to Buzzfest again unless there's a specific band that I can't see any other way and I probably won't stay all day.

Awesome line-up! Papa Roach is the most energetic band I have seen and they really get into the crowd! Seether always brings it! I had never seen Bush before and was blown away!

This was the strongest setlist Buzzfest has had in a long time. They started jamming early and didn't let off 'til the last song. Great show!!!

My girl and I drove 12 hours from El Paso to watch this show and it was well worth it! Next time Im going to avoid trying to buy pit passes on ticket master and just go straight for Best seat Best price! Bush really stole the show but every band was awesome! Great show, we will definately be going to next years show.

This was my very first Buzzfest concert and I must say...I was extremely pleased! The bands were great. I never made it to the side stage just simply because it was so crowded there, but I did catch Finger Eleven, Papa Roach, Seether, Bush and Godsmack. Godsmack was everything and imagined and then some!

This was my first time at Buzzfest, and it was great!!! I came to see Sick Puppies, they are SUCH an awesome band and totally rocked here!!! Papa Roach was great, and Shinedown was outstanding. I had a wonderful time! I was also thrilled that there were autograph sessions with every band, that was a really cool thing to do. :-)

So we drove...and drove....and drove....5+ hours in varying degrees of rainstorms, from little tiny rain in I-40 in Pigeon Forge, to downtown Nashville where there were 4 inches of standing water on I-65 and traffic was at a crawl. But it was all worth it. When we arrived, got in, and got situated, we were about 25 feet from the stage in a standing-only crowd. They announced that due to the intense rain that had delayed the setup, Janus wouldn't be playing... We were a little disappointed, having not heard much of their music, and wanting to see their single "Eyesore" live. Shortly after the announcement, we watched 7 Day Binge from there, and as people shifted, or left, we moved closer and closer before Sick Puppies started. At this point we were about 10 feet from the barrier gate. Sick Puppies put on an awesome show, waking the crowd up as 2 mosh pits broke out right beside us during their set. After that, as more people shifted, went to get beer, etc, we moved closer. By the time Drowning Pool started, we were right at the barrier gate, with only 1 person in front of us. They exploded with energy and emotion, taking the crowd to surging highs and deep lows with songs like Bodies, 37 Stitches, and Sinner. Once they left the stage, we were pretty beat, but knew we had to stay right where we were. Papa Roach came out and put on one of the most energetic sets we've ever seen. It was ridiculous the way they can excite the crowd even in the rain and dark (their stage lighting was great, but Jacoby stood out in front of the lighting rig and they didn't have the spot lights on yet). They played all of their hits, noting a slightly shortened set due to the rain and storms and wanted each of the remaining bands to be allowed to play. After their set, we had to breathe/move/do something to rehydrate ourselves, so we left the front of the stage to get some water and relax. we spread our poncho on the wet grass and stretched and sat, watching both Seether and Shinedown from about 200ft away behind the sound tent. we had a good enough view about half of the time, but enjoyed hearing it all the same. Once their set was over, we were absolutely dead. We stood, watched Shinedown's first 4 and a half songs from behind the sound tent, and left, barely able to walk, and barely awake enough to drive. What an amazing day....

My hubby and I attended Buzzfest 2010. From entering at the gate until the final song, we had a Cinderella (no pun intended) night. It was organized, the lines moved quickly, the weather didn't dampen anything, and I've never heard such incredible bands - and I've seen a lot of 'em. The ONE thing that kinda ticked me was when "Free Beer" and "Hot Wings" (I'm assuming) introduced Shine Down. They said they were a part of the morning show and commenced their introduction. We left the concert thinking we never were able to see the guys we enjoy so much in the morning. Our conversation turned heated about it/them with me saying I was going to e-mail the show. We stopped at Waffle House, but of course, and ran into a Promotions guy from the station who said that it WAS "Free Beer" and "Hot Wings" who introduced the band. Now guys, you owe your faithful listeners a clear introduction of yourselves. Frankly, you're not that famous, but those of us who laugh with you every morning would have loved to have known we at least had seen you. I think you're incredible, have comedic timing, and are flat-out hilarious, but this decision wasn't cool. Other than that, we're hooked! Rock ON, Buzzfest 2011!!

The side stage never disappoints, it always has awesome crowd surfing among a jovial mosh pit. It doesn't matter if you stray from the people you go with because you end up rocking out with awesome people. My favorite moment was when I got knocked down in the mosh pit, I was picked up immediately by those around me. As I stood up I caught a beautiful girl that fell as she was crowd surfing. She gave me a quick Flash as a thank you and then asked me to throw her back up there. Just Awesome!

Had an incredible time. Since there were 2 stages, by the time you walked from one to the other for the next band, you would miss the beginning song. So we had to pick favorites and decide which bands we wanted to see more. I would have loved to see all of the in there entirety. This made this disappointing.

They cattling in of people to see the side stage bands suck. and on top of that... they cant even put 10 bathrooms for people that are buried deep in the crowd. The sound was terrible and i wondered if it was even worth dealing with it. I am not a fan of the woodlands or the side stage.

I arrived at about 3:20 p.m. and had no problem finding a parking space. Entry was seamless, though bottles (sans the cap) were not allowed ... ensuring an expensive beverage purchase. It was, however, nice that they allowed me to bring in food. I really enjoyed the bands I watched, especially Cage the Elephant, Pappa Roach and Chevelle. I wanted to catch Evans Blue and Dirty Heads at the side stage, but it was impossible to get close enough. I saw others bail out, as well. The sound was great in the lawn, and the cost of the tickets were reasonable. Looking forward to other shows in the future.

Cage the Elephant really took over the entire show. Very unexpected with such a strong lineup. Chevelle was solid as always but shorted the fans an encore by ending 15 min too early. P Roach worked hard and did well but could have brought a stronger setlist. Young the Giant tried hard and sounded good but the people that can afford the good seats were not into them, which was unfortunate. Same for Big Data. Good sound, wrong crowd. Switchfoot was strong and slotted perfect in the lineup. The sidestage was very crowded when the top bands performed but all in all, best side stage lineup ever probably. Crowded show and lots of fun... Glad I went and it exceeded my expectations.

I like Chevelle but Papa Roach was so much better. They should have been the headliner. I love buzzfest and all the bands that preform. I will go again next year and I hope Papa Roach is the headline show.

I was a little disappointed with many of the bands this year. They were boring and very "forgetable". Least favorite band was Big Data and most favorite was Papa Roach.

This was our first trip to Buzzfest and were surprised to find that the "side" stage was quite a haul to go back and forth from. We were really excited to go see DirtyHeads but once we finally made it to the side stage, we were so far away that the band looked like ants upon a hill. The sound was great being so far back but it was a mad house to try to weave in and out of the crowd. We had to leave before it was over because we didn't want to miss the next band back on the main stage and we knew it was gonna take some TIME to get back! We really wanted to go see POD but fighting the crowd to go BACK to the side stage just wasn't worth it and then have to leave again before it was over to make it back again. I don't know if every Buzzfest has been like that with two stages but probably wouldn't go to another one for that very fact.

Cage alone was worth the price of admission. I went to see one band and got to experience four other performances that I would change how I would view that night. P.O.D. Dirty Heads, Papa Roach, Young the Giant are among many bands I'll go see again. This concert was for my daughter's birthday and now she has more respect my kind of music. Thank you Buzzfest for the memories you made for me and my daughter (13yrs) first real show!

...but this year's lineup made me come back! Wife & I had a BLAST!! Despite Bad Suns being a no-show (a band we were dying to see), there were like 5 other bands that we loved. Young the Giant & P.O.D. were the highlights of our day. Chevelle & Papa Roach were awesome like always as well. If the lineup next year is as good as this year's, we'll be back.

My two teenage daughters and I attended. It was awesome experience. We stayed the entire 10 hours. Excellent music from all. We were able to get Switchfoot, POD and Chevelle's autographs. Also got a few close up pictures. PapaRoach stole the show. We will be there for next year.
