This was my family first time at Starry Night; and we had a great time. I purchased the tickets online so we would not have to wait in that very, very long line; best idea ever!! Once we found the right area we was in without any problems. Just a few pointers: They need to include more signs to access the Online ticket purchase area, we passed right by it. It was dark as well, so not very fun. Also might want to add some fake houses with lights, the areas with nothing going on was very dark. But overall we really enjoyed ourselves!! And we might just go again next year!

The light show was terrific although, was expecting a few more exhibits. The entire family loved the overall experience and you can go see it in the comfort of your pj's.

We went to look at the lights and had planned on going to the Mistletoe Village. The lights were ok. Not nearly as much as I thought there would be. We only spent 10 minutes driving by them and it took that long because of the slow moving line. Our big plan was to do the activities in Mistletoe Village but when we were near the path for it we were waved away. We were given no information as to it being closed down or if there was another entrance. I assume it wasn't closed because we got there at the start of the event and the FB page kept advertising it as open that day. Very upset that we paid $20 for basically nothing. Save your money and drive around the homes that are more done up. Won't be going here again.

This is a wonderful event for the family. The lights are great, however, not much changes from year to year. It is definitely something our family does every year. It's nice to get out at the Mistletoe Shop - ride the ponies and camels, get some hot chocolate - great experience. They offer horse drawn carriage rides, which one day our family will do. We will go back next year and the following - it is beautiful - I just wish there were "new" exhibits each year.

Starry Nights is great for the family!! We go every year, and the kids love it! The carriage ride is a bit pricey, but it is magical and memorable. Stop at the end for hot chocolate and a pic with Santa (expensive, but very good quality pic).

We were so disappointed that it was the same show as we've seen for the last two years. This is our last year,

Starry Nights was too expensive and not planned well. The individual displays were ostensibly sponsored by local businesses; why did we have to pay an admission fee? The best display was the pinball machine; most folks would not have realized that. The funniest display was near the beginning-an elf with a brown cloud at its rear. Our 10 year old laughed and called our attention to the farting elf. Surely this should not have been included in a family show.

It was pretty! I bought tickets ahead of time. I would not have wanted to wait in the long line of cars to see this though. It would be nice if lights blinked with music. It was worth seeing once.

This is my 2nd year going to starry nights. The 1st time I went was great, this year was nice also, I saw alot of things that was there last year but they also added new lights and not to mention santa was there unlike last year. But the pictures was ridiculously expensive. They had the petting zoo, ride the animals so that was new. I would go again. Reduce the picture price!!!!

Starry Nights was always a treat for our entire family. After a several year break we decided to visit again and although no one wanted to be the first to admit it... we were all disappointed. The displays were sparse. partial remnants of years past and in need of repair. The music was HORRIBLE and the log jam of traffic in the middle so some could peel off at a sad little carnival was aggravating to say the least. The only thing that made this family tradition new and fresh seemed to be the carriage rides... If you don't want to try that, save your money and drive around the city for better Christmas light displays. .... In closing, it makes me sad to have to write a negative review.

This was my 1st time attending Starry Nights, I work @ a retirement home and this was a group outing for the seniors. Some of them had never seen Starry Nights and the others had seen it a lot. I was very pretty, colorful & somewhat serene. Myself & the residents enjoyed it.

We just moved to the area from Indiana and were disappointed with the Christmas lights in the Memphis area. We thought $20 was outrageous, but decided we needed to see if it was worth it. While it is definitely the best in the area, we have a park in our hometown that puts up just as many lights and has displays sponsored by different groups like Starry Nights did, and that one is free to drive through. It was nice, but I don't think we'll spend that much to see it next year.

Everything was a little overpriced, including the entry fee. It's beautiful but if you go too early, the lights don't work the same if you go later in the season. The later in the season, the more car, making it less enjoyable. All in all it's what I'd expect out of Memphis.

I am from Tennessee however, this was my first visit to Starry night. I enjoyed the visit and the displays. However, for twenty dollars I assumed that there would be a larger view of lights and displays. I must say that as a first time experience it was great. I do feel that if family friendly for all ages. I carried two adults with mental retardation and they loved every bit of it. The really enjoyed the Mistletoe Village. It gave them great pleasure to take pictures with Santa. The enjoyed it so well the purchased the photo. The enjoyed themsevles and kept saying thank you. The radio station was nice to listen to as you traveled through the scenery.

Me and my significant other attended "Starry Nights" with the anticipation of it being a very exciting and fun "experience." I have attended Starry Nights many times over the years and this year's experience was fun and had it's pros and cons. The upside to this years event was the fact that I discovered that if you prepay for the event, you are allowed to enter through a special entrance in the back which cut out the usual excessive wait time almost completely. This was very convenient. However, once inside Starry Nights I noticed that the lighting setup was virtually the exact same as last year. This was very disappointing as we were hoping to see some new and exciting light shows. We stopped at the little village they had because we wanted to see what it was all about. I was also very disappointed with this part of the event. We wanted to buy a Starry Nights Tee and check out the booths they had in the village but the majority of them were closed and we were unable to obtain the souvenir tee we desired. Furthermore, we attempted to make smores at the fire pit they had but the graham crackers we were provided were stale to point that they just crumbled completely when you tried to beak them to make your smore. I liked the idea of the village, but it needs to be improved on immensely and make sure all the booths are open and adequately staffed. Overall, the experience was fun, but just very anticlimatic. I hope to see some new designs as far as the lights go and hope that improves.

It was OK, the kids liked the lights. The only problem that I really saw with it was the subject matter. It's just not very "Christmasy". All of the lights were about animals, or bowling, or underwater stuff. Anyway, there was nothing at all to do with Christmas. There was no nativity scene wich is the real reason for the season to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus. There was no Santa or elves or anything like that either. The bright lights are pretty but please make it more about CHRISTmas. Merry CHRISTmas not happy holidays.

This drive-through holiday light display is not worth the $20/car at all. Two 8 year olds thought it was truly lame, as did I. It only takes about 7 minutes to go through it and the displays are not in the best of shape- many lights out and displays small and uninteresting. What does a giant lighted dinosaur have to do with the holidays? The undersea section was the only nice part- but very short and not worth $20. The simulcast on the radio is horrible music that has nothing to do with the displays themselves. I have seen much better displays in many smaller cities and towns. Another Memphis disappointment.

Starry Night was nice, had a deer pass in front of us while on the trail. Unfortunately Memphis had to be Memphis... my vehicle was broken into while in Memphis just prior to going to the Starry night and it was all I could do to put on a happy face for my family.. then a few weeks later Memphis grave robbed a southern monument. Our past is ugly but it is still our past and those that forget or try to ignore history are doomed to repeat it. I won't spend anymore of my money or time in Memphis

I was disappointed that after a 2-hour wait, my pre-purchased ticket required me to go into another line. I bought the ticket in advance because it was advertised that this would save time. The opposite was true and required yet another line. Insult to the matter, was I paid a handling charge! Next year pay at the gate, save the few dollars for handling fees and save yourself the additional line.

The ride through was OK at best. Its 20$ per car, which i guess if you have kids or something its worth it, but this was just me and my hubby looking for something romantic for xmas. The "mistletoe village" was literally just a petting zoo and a cart for hot chocolate. The ride through for the lights was not very long at all and there was a ton of huge gaps in the lights to get from one section to another. When we saw the sign for "...and to all a goodnight" we were left with an extremely underwhelming sensation of "thats it??"

I have attended Starry nights every year since it started first with Mifa and now with the Park. This year was disappointing at best. I always prepurchase tickets and enter the back gate. There was no benefit to that this year. We waited 45 minutes to come in the prepaid entrance. We probably could have gone through twice coming from Walnut Grove. They allowed one car at a time from the prepaid. The lights themselves very pretty. It was done on a much smaller scale than in the past. It could be a volunteer issue. It could be a sponsor issue. It seemed about 50% smaller than it has been previously.

Hate to be a Debbie Downer but unfortunately I had driven through a light show in Nashville last Christmas that was absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! I was hoping Starry Nights, which I had never driven through, would be equal to or top the one in Nashville because I'm sick of hearing my brother-in-law say how much bigger and better things are in Nashville....however, in this case he would have been correct.....it was weak in comparison and I won't be going back. That's not to say I don't appreciate and applaud those involved in putting the event together as I know it is a lot of work....so thank you. But you may want to contact the organization in Nashville to make improvements here.....I love to see Memphis SHINE!!!

We've been going every year -- this year there were so many lights out we felt bad for all the folks lined up in their cars for miles. The number of lights out was surprising -- you would think they would be on top of that. Compared to other events Starry Nights has fallen behind in the technology. Southhaven's rocked with computerized lights that matched the music you would tune into on the radio. Southaven dusted Starry Nights -- and for half the price. It's not the price that is the issue -- we enjoy supporting these .orgs as much as we enjoy the show. I just think that next year Starry Nights will have to redeem themselves or risk no one coming back....

The music only synchronized with one display which was the fishing Santa. The Santa workshop was too costly especially given how much the admissions fee was and how many sponsoring companies participated in making starry nights possible. After leaving the workshop a park vehicle pulled out behind our car and kept their lights on thru the rest of the park.

We live in Memphis and have attended Starry Nights several times over the years. This year we went back for the first time in several years this year, and were disappointed. The display seemed much shorter, and the music accompaniment was terrible...there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to it, and a lot of the music was not familiar. For the $20 we paid, I could have gone to the lights in Southaven which are not as spectacular but are locally produced, with all money going to charity.

Starry Nights was great for a family outing. It was Thursday so the entire Mistletoe Village was not occupied. I know it's always a chance thing, but it would have been more fun with more booths open. The Shelby booth gave my grand son his own ornament and he thought that was the greatest thing. I really like how you can buy VIP tickets online, if it weren't that I wouldn't have gone. Not worth the wait otherwise. My hubby and I had a really great time although there was a lot of "blank" areas that should have had displays. It wouldn't be worth an hour wait to see. Mistletoe Village was my favorite part because of the petting zoo, although I could tell some of them were stressed out, especially the kangaroo and the camel. I don't know much about camels, but I can recognize stereotypical behavior in horses and this camel showed symptoms. Very Sad. Overall we had a good time though.

I seem to remember a large dinosaur but it wasnt even there this year. I dont think we will be going again in the future, it's just too expensive, and not worth $20 a car. I did like the fact you can buy tickets in advance & go through the alternate entrance. That was nice not having to wait in the long line.

I don't know where to start. Overly priced not enough lights not christmas themed no music. Camel rides 5.00 and its not even a 1 minute ride. It could be better if it were better organized. Too much for too little. Won't be back.

We loved Starry Nights and especially the new area with little shops, camel rides, pictures with Santa, and choirs singing Christmas carols. It was great!
