Chico Debarge was not that impressive. But, all other singers were very organized in their delivery and performance. We loved all opening acts. I must tell you that Lenny Williams was the real deal. My girlfriend and I were more than impressed with his performance. A lifetime of standing ovations go out to him.

I am a huge Chico fan. And my BFF and I drove from Memphis to check out the show. We were extremely disappointed. There were two opening acts that seemed to be local celebs whose music we were totally unfamiliar with. Lenny Williams was the only opening act we were prepared for. We aren't huge fans but respect his music and were prepared to sit through 2 or 3 songs to get to the main event, Chico. When Chico finally came out he sang 3 Debarge songs from back in the day and only 1 of his songs. He has 4 solo albums and we only got 1 song. Then he left the stage. The local singers that opened for him were out longer. Thaddeus Matthews was the host and when the audience voiced their disappointment he was rude and condescending. But his immature behavior and ignorance is to be expected. It was the worst concert experience I've ever had. I've been to dozens of concerts throughout the US. And this was travesty and complete waste of money, gas and time.

Never again. Show was suppose to start round 8pm, started around 9ish. Started off w/ a local group, nice group but they did a long set. As if they were stalling......Attendance at the event was poor, we paid $140 for the 2 VIP tickets, but poor crowd control lent itself to people sitting wherever. I saw people on the front row debating w/ seat stealers. Comedian Ralph Porter hosted the event and did an excellent job. He's funny. Candi man came out....., Chico Debarge sounded and looked GREAT, but after him, we left. By this time it 11PM and I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel. My friend stayed and she told me the show didn't end til 2am. H-town and Silk both played their music on BOOM BOXES..... and SPRAYED WATER ON THE AUDIENCE. Tacky event, poorly organized, poorly advertised. Never again

I was very excited to see the show but the excitement turned to disappointed ! The show started extremely late and that started a string of many delays. The artists would not prepared to do the show. The young local band D1 sounded great! They were the only musicains with the except of Chico DeBarge's guitarist. Chico sounded fantastic...Candy man was ok...H-Town and Silk still have very nice vocals but they were not prepared to do this show . Silk sounded great but they were dressed like they just woke up and throw on anything! During the show there lacked a system for order....people continuosly getting in other people's seat & refusing to move. Folks standing in front of people who paid almost $ 67.00 to see the show!

The Temple Theater was comfortable throughout the four hour show. The audience was involved and fun. I especially liked The D1 Experience, Candyman, and Chico DeBarge. Really, an awesome show.
