Excellent comic standup from Gad Elmsleh - going thru all thru all the cliche one might have on the french, the american or the maroccan. Impressive transition to english. And what a laugh when he's forcing french accent in english. Pure joy!

Excellent performance we had an amazing time. I would totally see it again! Great adaptation to The DC culture: one of my favorite moments was when everyone asks you "how are you doing" and how polite and nice they are... but careful!! You should always answer "good or great" i.e a positive answer or they'll run away :p. Also enjoyed the tiny moment about lebanese people. Also that in DC, everything is a job, and the expression "i'm working on it"! Hahaa but also the fish anyways just loved it all!!!

Great performance! Gad had me in stitches. What I most appreciated is that the show was clean and no swearing which is so unusual for comedians. A sign of true and real talent. Cuz if ur funny, ur funny! Can't wait to see him again.

The show was simply excellent! Gad is so funny and witty! The venue was fine, although I don't understand the seating arrangement. Why not open the concert hall for people as they come instead of this double wait that really doesn't make sense.

If you're a french speaker and you don't know GAD, you're missing out. I liked the seating arrangement and seating was in groups to avoid pushing etc... Will go again for sure

The show was tailor made for french people living in the United States. Gad is a real, authentic Artist, with an undeniable talent .... Always improvising, getting the audience to participate, joyful, he will definitely get the best laugh out of you ! Amazing! reviens Gad !

The show was hysterical. I couldn't stop laughing at loud and I was crying from laughing so hard. The least enjoyable moments were the young children sitting on both sides of me with their parents and the kids obviously had no idea what was going on (which was expected) and were laughing silly continuously at whatever Gad was saying since the show was for adults due to the adult language, not for 7 year olds. (The parents even explained the jokes to the kids). I guess the parents thought they were going to see Disney on Ice with their kids. Bringing their kids was totally inappropriate which made these kids a nuisance throughout the show, like running around in the aisle, crunching on chips and yelling. Almost was like a daycare outing with the parents constantly telling them to behave. Not what I expected to hear for $71 a seat! Next time, please Gad, skip the English and stick to French!

Gad Elmaleh is a good entertainer but this show was not as good as expected

Very good show, he was very funny as always, we laughed a lot and we enjoyed the show tremendously.

Loved it! Went with my three children and we have been laughing at Gad's jokes ever since. Some one should have briefed Gad that the non french speaking suspect (alias Brian) might well be spanish speaking in Miami. Was a little disappointed with the last half hour, Gad seemed a bit tired, and the 'Berceuse' nearly put me to sleep. I would have prefered walking out laughing than sleeping. Revenez vite à Miami, Gad!

The show was completely adapted for french people who live in USA. Extremely nice and fun.

Great show. Gad demonstrated is one of the best French comedians (Marroco born) and with a Canadian passport!. It felt like the show was adapted to French speaking people who lives in the USA . We hope he will come back more frequently!

It was great. He did not disappoint us. I laughed beginning to end.

The first part of the show touching on the cultural differences between the US and France was innovative, to the point and incredibly funny. The second part which focused on his typical repertoire lacked a bit of freshness and new material, but Gad still managed to deliver a stellar performance! Gad may need to reinvent his show a bit and surprise us to remain the #1 French stand-up comedian!!!

The best French comedian, better to see it live than TV or DVD. The mood was fire ! 2 hours went by so quickly I thought we just started.

The show met my expectations. Witty and funny without any vulgarity.

This was a fun comedy show. It was in French, so I understood about 90% of it, except for parts where he started talking at 100 MPH. But I like that he either did his research on Miami (or spent some time here) and knows about the cultural nuances. His view on cultural differences were funny, and I appreciated that he was really funny without offending any cultures or saying vulgar stuff, like a lot of current comedians do. My only regret is that I didn't sit closer so I could see his beautiful eyes. ^^

Was truly a great night! Gad is an impressive comedian and it was great to attend the show with other French speakers. Kudos to the Birchemere! I truly enjoyed the entertainment and the food!

The show was great and very interactive. Too bad the actor did not come to mingle with the audience; big disappointment. After waiting several minutes at the end of the show, the spectators were frustrated to know that only one person (chosen by some official: a friend or whatever) was allowed to talk with Gad Elmaleh. The others waited in vain. Also the show was video recorded but no indication as to where and if it will be available for sale

Amazing show. Extremely funny. It felt like the show was for us. A lot of interactions with the public and lots of jokes that only French people who lives in the USA would get. Can't wait for him to come back in the area!

It's was a very great show, Gad is very funny and even the jokes in English were funny ! I'm just sad because at the end of the show we were waiting a long time for him just for take a photo and he didn't came out !

Excellent time at the show. Ghad is sooo funny. What I like about him is that his routine does not involve any crude/rude language. No expletives needed for him to make the whole crowd laugh. Will definitely see him again if he comes back. Excellent seats (front row). However, there are really no bad seats at the Birchmere.

This is my 3rd seeing his show & everytime it is just as great as before... Love how he changed things up this time and made it more relatable to us French citizens living in the US in regards to his move & the transition most of us went through... Gad, tu es le meilleur, bonne continuation!

Gad was very funny! His story were genuine, I related to a lot of his immigrant situation and learning english as a second, even third language. He knew how to get the attention of the crowd for his first stand up tour in English, it was a great show.

I appreciated the show like last time ! But Town Hall place was not like Carnegie Hall place .Gad was more comfortable this time and we saw the Gad that we love

I took my son to see Gad . I knew Gad d as a comedian in French and was so amazed to hear him in English now. He is far superior to any English speaking comedian. We laughed from beginning to end. Can't wait to see him again.

This was my first time watching him live. I enjoyed this part, but overall, he did not bring any new jokes. It was basically the same I saw on Netflix a year ago.

Bought these tickets on a whim. Had never even heard of Gad Elmaleh when I saw the tickets on sale. Took a peak at a couple of You Tube videos and he seemed funny, so I figured \u2018why not. What a pleasant surprise! Definitely a show worth seeing. No raunch; just good, clean comedy. His physicality adds a lot to the material, making a great show. Saw Kevin James two weeks ago and thought this was a much better show. Gad has a new fan!!

I have been a big fan for more than 20 years , lived in Paris for 10 years and been in New York for the last 10 years ! I am glad my Gad is following me !

He is one of the funniest comics around. His comedy is like Seinfeld with topics on anything and everything.

As he mentioned it in his show, he wanted to "challenge" himself. Well, I believe that he did more than that. I hope that he is going to continue doing a show because I believe he can make something big.

I was expecting to have a good time and Gad delivered just that. Awesome job especially when English is not your first language!

I've known of and loved Gad for years, watching him in France and North Africa, entranced by his multicultural themes, keen human observations, and hilarious delivery. I'll admit that I was a little (ok, VERY) nervous for him to make his transition from delivering humor from French to English. I underestimated his language ability, work ethic and the transferability of his acting capacities. The man is AMAZINGLY brilliant!! For me, true comedic skill is when you don't have to resort to sexual humor to make your audience laugh, but use it tastefully instead. Sex humor is easy, but making a show out of something completely other is much harder. He drew me in within 2 minutes and I literally never once thought about how he might mess up the whole 2 hours of the show, I was too busy laughing hysterically. I wished that he slipped into French for old time's sake, but I understand why he didn't, and am amazed at his stamina. As I bilingual, I can only imagine how exhausted he must have been by the end. 2 thumbs up and I can hardly wait to see him rise here in the US!!!!!! GO SEE HIM!!! 2 hours of my life well spent.

Got there too early, so was getting anxious, thinking he might cancel his perfomance. I had the best time of my life, the man is funny, charming, If I could afford it I would follow his American tour, every City,never get tired of it. I need so much to forgot the drama and stress going on in my life. Because of you I did.Thank you Gad.

Amazing Gad. The 2 hours went by very quickly. We enjoyed every minute of it. It was funny, right on point and a little emotional. Great comedian.

Gad Elmaleh was wonderfully funny, on par with Jerry Seinfield in that he uses the everyday things in his routine. He was hilarious, joyful, and much more family-friendly that I anticipated (let's face it...the French can get raunchy!). The only draw back was the opening act...he had a few funny jokes, but mostly was just crude, vulgar, and unfunny. Some people would call it "dry"... I get dry, but this guy was just lame. Gad blew him away and was an absolute star. I can't wait for Americans to recognize Gad the way he has been recognized in Europe!

Brillant, funny, perfect, just him ! he works so hard he is really closed to the truth all the time, I kept laughing during the entire show.

Oh my Gad ! A very good show - from the first to the very last word. We've relocated from France one year ago and we really appreciate to get Gad POV on living in the US vs France / Morocco. But everybody open to different cultures will love it. Bravo Gad.

As A French married to an American from New York I was eager to introduce the first French comic who does a show in English to my American friends and husband. It was interesting to hear their opinion. My husband who is a tough critic in general said Gad definitely has some talent and when he showed the French side of his comic game in English you could tell he must be really funny in French as he was in English in this show. But he still needs to improve his game for the American audience. Overall I think we need to give this guy a chance as I heard many people laugh in the audience and those were not only the French people ;-) Check him on Youtube with Jerry Seinfeld or Seth Mayers. ;-)

I am French so I know Gad's comedy shows. He performs here in Englis and adapted his show. We laughed for an hour and a half. One of the funniest show you can see. Go for it !

Gad is a very talented guy no matter what language he use to make his audience laugh and have a good time. We enjoyed his show in English. The jokes were fantastic!! We are committed to come to his shows every time his in DC. In addition, I love the fact that he is one of the first Moroccan comedian who made it to a night show. He is simply amazing.... Gad's performance was amazing!! He really engaged wonderfully with the audience. His English was superb. His jokes were hilarious.

He didn't spare the French, the Americans or the Moroccans...but always in a very tasteful way. Love it. I just wished it didn't end so fast, one hour just flew by.
