AC/DC

AC/DC IN CONCERT:With dozens of driving anthems and countless epic concerts under their belt, AC/DC has become one of the most successful and recognizable hard rock bands ever. Powerhouse numbers like "You Shook Me All Night Long," "Highway to Hell," and "Back in Black" get ticket buyers headbanging along from the first few iconic chords, while a pyrotechnic stage show complete with fireworks, Jumbotrons, and stacks of cranked amplifiers ensures the whole arena sees, hears, and feels the thunder from start to finish. Legendary duck-walking guitarist Angus Young keeps crowds pumped with his relentless energy, doling out crushing riffs and lightning-fast licks with swagger to spare. And on the 2016 Rock or Bust Tour, special guest vocalist Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses steps in to lend his trademark range to AC/DC's earth-shaking sound, bringing a new edge to their larger-than-life performances.

Just when you think they are done, Axel does an incredible job of sounding like Bon and enough like Brian to give one more unforgettable show, doing More Bon songs and you could see the fun Angus and Axel we're having. If they never wrote a new anything, the live renditions of these classics are Just fun and great rock and roll and a night to remember. Please don't stop.

I've seen AC/DC over 20 times over the years all the way to the first row and I have to say this is the very best number one or number two show I have ever seen. The energy that Axle brought was insane and for the first time he appeared very happy and at peace with what he was doing versus the days of guns and roses where it always seem contentious. If this was a once-in-a-lifetime we're he's singing I will be disappointed but I am very happy to of been in the 10th row and have a great video to remember this for a lifetime. I'd like to thank AC/DC and axle Rose. In reference to the seats I sold the originals and picked up 10th row.

This was my 12th AC/DC show and by far the best I had ever been to. Brian Johnson's voice sounded great. There had been past shows that it sounded very rough, but not at this show. Angus was as awesome as ever, and considering they are all getting up in age I was really surprised at how much energy they all still had. They played a lot from the new album, which I think is one of thier best since For Those About to Rock.

In one word the show was awesome. I like live music but even so I will say I almost liked the sound of this concert better than the CDs. Lights, fire, canons, a striptease... what can be better? AC/DC was so much awesome. Had I shelled out 150 or 200 at the last minute to get a ticket I would not have been disappointed. I've seen a lot of bands, AC/DC was by far one of the best so far. Better than the Rolling Stones. The only ones I will say were as good was Santana and seeing Genesis at the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium or Eric Clapton at the Cleveland Coliseum or Robert Plant at the Cleveland Symphony Hall.. maybe Dylan in the Flats. From the opening cartoon until the very last chord before the lights came on the place was rocking. The whole place got caught up in the band's energy during that first song. 3/4 of the packed, sold out arena, had on the light up horns. It was awesome how the vibe just hit with that first song. The energy between the crowd and the band showed a great amount of stage presence and charisma that I've never seen with any other band.

This was awesome concert to go to! We had a great time listening to great music! The warm up band wasn't too bad either and both played for a good amount of time. AC/DC came on about 8:30 and played til about 11. I was always told they put on a good show by others and it lived up to that expectation. I would love to go again some time.

Timeless rockers. These guy continue to put on the best show I've ever seen and show no signs of slowing down. They played for just over two hours and just kept going and going. I've been a lifelong fan of AC/DC but they weren't playing Seattle this tour so we flew into SFO to make a weekend out of it. The weather was great, ATT park was nice, and the show was amazing. The band played a few new songs but mostly covered their older tunes that made them who they are.............and Angus played a 15 minute guitar solo! The show was Friday, today is Monday, and my ears are still ringing!!

Everything about this show was great. The music, the crowd, the lights, the performances of both bands. The opening act Vintage Trouble was a pleasant surprise for me. I'd never heard of them before, but after watching their high energy show and listening to their bluesy, funky music, I was hooked. AC/DC was in top form. One hit after another. This was my second AC/DC concert and my favorite. We sat way up in the View Section and thanks to the video screens, we didn't miss a thing. Visually and musically it was an amazing show.

If there was a roof on AT&T, there wouldn't be anymore. AC/DC came out blazin' and didn't stop, "...all night long!". Good stuff. They all looked and sounded great and look genuinely pleased to be there! Though a slight departure from AC/DC sound, the opening band, Vintage Sound ramped up the energy with some funk and soul of their own! Great stuff all around in a magical place to see a show!

Though just seeing them & hearing their great music was enough their visual arts, graphics, & pyrotechnics were awesome as well!! The ONLY thing I wasn't pleased with were the lines for merchandise, beverages, & washrooms. I would absolutely see them again next time they are in the Pacific NW!! Rock On AC/DC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like many in the building, I was skeptical of the AXL Rose experiment. Fortunately, he came thru with flying colors. He obviously preferred to sing the Bon Scott era songs, so we were rewarded with multiple cuts from Powerage, Highway to Hell, and High Voltage...many that haven't been performed since we lost Bon. Riff Raff during the encore was the perfect tune to send my ringing ears off into the night. Fun show and Angus Young even at 1/3 the speed of Young Angus is still THE MAN!!

The show was incredible. There were moments that you could tell they had not played together very long. It was also evident that Axl Rose was letting Angus have the spotlight. Axl was phenomenal! I have a whole new respect for him and his ability as a singer. At 61 years old, Angus Young can still shred a guitar with the best of them. His Gibson SG was louder than any guitar I have ever heard in concert and I have been going to concerts for over 40 years. The light show was very good. They played all the hits and the show lasted over two hours non-stop.

One thing you can count on is Angus being Angus. They came back into ATL and wen for it. The wild card going in was Axl. He did a great job! I'm not sure if this is the end for the band? They proved that they can adept without loosening the sound that has been ruling the rock world for decades. If they were playing again next weekend I would buy tickets and go without a second thought! Thank you ACDC for everything.

Being an AC/DC fan from the beginning and having seen them now 11 or 12 times and 3 with the legendary Bon Scott, this was the most energetic I've seen them since maybe back in the 80s and for sure the longest they've played since then. I wasn't a huge fan of Axle coming on board when I first heard the news but I must admit he knocked it out of the park. Other than the three times I saw them with Bon, this was the best since in my opinion and anyone who didn't go because of Axle missed the show of their lives and they played songs I hadn't heard them play live in years.

AC/DC was my very first concert back in the early 80's and was my boys (13&11) very first in Greensboro, NC. They rated it a 9&11 respectively on a scale of 1 to 10. Axl filled in nicely for Brian Johnson and we thank him for that. Angus was incredible, even having a 18 minute long guitar solo. Thanks to the band for allowing my sons and I to have a lasting memory of a great concert.

Axl Rose seemed genuinely happy to be there fronting AC/DC. Almost as if the weight of living up to the GnR pressure was off his shoulders and he was just a singer helping out a band. There was a time I thought he would die a recluse, and now here he is fronting two of the greatest bands of all time. (I saw him with GnR in Nashville and New Orleans this summer before catching the AC/DC show in Greensboro this past Saturday night, so this is my third evening with him and he delivered every single time.) IF YOU'RE A FAN AT ALL OF ACDC, DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW. most likely the last time you will ever see them in this incarnation, and Angus is still getting it done at age 61. The set list is packed with album classics for the true fan. I've been a fan since I was 16 and they have provided the soundtrack to my life for almost 40 years. For those about to Rock, I salute you. Thank you AC/DC for doing what you do best!

The best display of rock and roll I have ever had the opportunity to witness. The power and energy by the group is better than it has ever been for I saw them in 1980 in Fayetteville, NC. And that "Back N Black" tour was amazing in itself. Anyone that attends the remaining shows will not be disappointed. I can only hope they record an album with Axl Rose and tour just one more time. I've been a fan for 30 years. I really was upset when the Brian thing happened and I was expecting Axl to suck. But he really didn't. He brought the goods! My only criticism of him is that he really didn't engage the crowd very much. He didn't say very many words at all (there was no "thanks Greensboro"...etc). I, like many people came to see the man, the legend...Angus Young. And he brought the goods! This 61 year old tiny guy was an explosive ball of guitar purity...he even played a 10 min solo and used his necktie! He owned that thing like nothing I have ever seen before! It was well worth the cost and wait to watch such an exhibit of talent!

Omg! Best show I've seen in a long time. I've literally been to hundreds of shows and this one ranks up there in my all time top 3. Hells Bells, You Shook Me All Night Long!!!

I hadn't seen them live since the "Back in Black" tour in 1980 and they haven't lost a beat.

The show was great, these guys still have the stuff to rock a place. The only issue I have is concerts are getting too expensive. First concert I went to was AC/DC at age 15.....35 years later the cost to go to one of these shows is too expensive for the experience. My two cents......When did it stop being "all about the music" and start being a business that gouges concert goers with everyone else having their hand out looking to get paid. Will not be going to anymore shows like this until I hit the lottery.

AC/DC gives two hours of straight forward hard rock. No ballads or chit chat. The closest they come to a ballad in this setlist is you shook me all night long and whole lotta Rosie. After more than forty years the band has not missed a beat! If you are a casual fan you will love this show. There are a few deep tracks but so many hits you will be on your feet all night.

I don't want to bore anyone, so I'll go straight to the point: the show was great!!! If you're an diehard you HAVE TO go, period! If you're more of a casual fan but have the opportunity, I still believe that you should go, I really believe that you will enjoy it. No rock fan should miss AC/DC given the chance to see them! And that's essentially my point: this may very well be THE LAST chance you get to see them. I stupidly missed them on their "Black Ice" tour, and I swore to myself I wouldn't miss them again if I ever got the chance, and that was long before the whole situation with Malcom came to light. Well, I kept my word! AC/DC are one of my top 3 artist ever, and I had never seen them live, which may seem outrageous to many, but bear in mind that I live in Central America and traveling for shows is not always a choice. Well, I finally got that off my bucket list, and I sure as hell am glad I did. The set list? No chance, folks, I'm not going to spoil anything here (I avoided any and all reviews of their European tour 'cause I wanted to be surprised and succeeded), let me just give you this anecdote: as I was walking through the parking lot on my way back, I ran into a group of fans who were discussing the set list, and they mentioned a couple of what they called "iconic songs" which were omitted from the show.... and while I had to agree with their opinion, I also have to say this: I really didn't notice those songs were missing until they mentioned it! That's how great the set list felt to me! The venue: it was good enough, I guess, but.... getting there was no picnic, and getting back....? Gee, talk about inconvenience.... and last but not least, the sound: from my seat (row 6, section 310, aaaaaaaall the way up), it was adequate, but not great.... not sure if that was because of the PA or because of the acoustics of the venue.... or simply because I was a mile above the stage.... I'm inclined to believe it's probably some combination of those, since I've seen a few clips from the show on Youtube and while they sound better than the ones I shot, they're still far from great, specially by the standards of current cell phones..... Anyway, the bottom line: don't miss you're chance to see them, you may come to regret it. For me, it was a dream come true just to be there, so I can easily let go of all the petty stuff I mentioned.... For Those About to Rock: We Salute You!!!!!

Although I am a huge Korn fan, I can easily say that for me so far this concert could be a contender for, if not the best one I have been to yet. So far my first and possibly only time seeing this group, but the endless, boundless talent, showmanship and musicianship are proof that it's quality that counts rather than quantity, not to mention an example of how excellent music never goes out of style! Angus Young and Brian Johnson were especially mesmerising on the guitar and vocals respectively, as well as quite animated and athletic in their delivery. Not only that, but the bass and drum work were heavy and fully on point to complement their crunchy, hard rocking style. From the opening number Rock or Bust and concluding with the rousing encore of For Those About to Rock complete with cannons and followed by pyrotechnics over the stage, the night was nothing short of grand!

Nothing more to say than the greatest concert I've ever been to. If anyone says the sound wasn't good was because they were in the nose bleed section and there are no speakers up there. Angus 17 minute guitar solo?!?!?! Are you kidding me? The guys runs around like a chicken with his head cut off at 60. He amazes me. Angus is the man! 5 stars across the board.

This was the first time seeing my favorite band and it was by far the best concert I have ever been to! The band played all of their greatest hits from every single album. They played for two hours straight! I hope they come back for an encore tour at Gillette Stadium. I will be there in a heartbeat!!

If you get a chance to go do so!! They sound better than ever and Angus Young is the BEST guitarist. What talent, energy, and showmanship! As a side note, this was my first time attending Gillette Stadium. It's an amazing, well run facility with friendly, helpful staff. Including the Foxborough police who were directing traffic. I could not believe how quickly we were able to get out of the parking lot with 68,000 people all leaving at the same time!

Gillette stadium was the perfect place to start a tour. My daughter and I came up from Long Island to see the show. Perfect night for it too. The boys only played 2 songs from the new album , saving the rest of the night for all the old standards and a few from the closet. Sin City and Let There Be Rock were dead on. How great was the show? I was finally able to start talking on Monday afternoon.

I had taken my son to his first concert for his 16th birthday. It's obvious he has great taste in music seeing as his favorite band is AC/DC. You could feel the excitement within the crowd for the kick off of the North American Tour at Gillette Stadium and it was amazing. AC/DC rocked it hard and loud just as expected. Angus Young was on top of his performance as usual with a 12 minute guitar solo that was AWESOME !!!! Had to be one of the best concerts I've ever seen. A HUGE THANK YOU TO AC/DC FOR THE GREAT MEMORIES WITH MY SON THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET ...

From the amazing seats in 5th row to the evenly spaced seating so we not over crowded this was probably THE best show I have been to. From the opening to the last song these guys were full of energy!!! Sound was geat, not too much for being so close!! Staging was fantastic!! Seeing Brian Johnson having so much fun made the show that much better!!!! It was a fantastic experience!! Thank you all for everything!!

I don't think AC/DC could ever put on a bad show. The only down side was the fact we were in the upper section and the acoustics were horrible. The songs we knew we could follow along with, but if it was one we weren't familiar with we couldn't make out a thing they were saying. It was still AC/DC so it didn't matter :)

Probably the greatest live performers I've ever seen. Great music, tons of energy, exciting visuals, they've got it all. I saw the Black Ice tour 3 times and would go again if they added more shows.

Charlotte, NC was my first AC/DC concert and it was amazing! The energy was like they were performing for the very first time. Went to a second concert in Cincinnati, OH; the energy was same! They really love what they do, and they know how to appreciate their fans. I am waiting unpatiently for my 3rd concert to see them in Louisville, KY in April; again I have floor seats! I hope they tour again one day because I will definitely be there!

First time I ever saw AC/DC was on the Highway to Hell Tour, they were awesome performers then with such intense energy displayed by the front man guitarist Angus Young. 30 years later, Angus still rules the stage like no other guitarist. That unmistable one legged hop across the stage while strumming the hard core rhythms on the guitar still brings a smile and the pumping fist to the air. The excitement and energy was phenomenal. Anyone who wants to see a real rock concert with a real rock performance needs to see AC/DC. A great concert, great stage set up with the center runner and scissor jack platform at the end of the center runner put Angus in the middle of the arena which was great for all to see him wail on the guitar. The stage set up with the wrecked train and the huge blow up of Rosie was great.

ACDC continues to build their fan base with more and more fans since they have with stood the test of time! If you are a fan of Rock and Roll your resume MUST have ACDC as a band to see! How does a band "Bring it" night in and night out? Their energy is always high and the atmosphere is electric. I watch one of the GREATEST guitar players in the world when I get the privelage to watch Angus Young......I continue to say "I'm not worthy"
