The Devils and Union put on a great game. Philly played well against a youthful side fielded by Sir Alex. It was great to a new MLS team gelling and the future stars of a premier EPL team. The stadium is very accommodating and open, plus easy to get to by transit.

If ever attending an event at Lincoln Financial Field (especially if it is a Man U game) give yourself about 2 hours more than you think you will need. Traffic all around the Philadelphia area was at a stand still and getting into the Field took forever (missed almost all of the first half). Once inside though the atmosphere was electric, even though it was the home town for Philadelphia Union; Man U fans far out numbered Union fans. I ordered early and had great seats.

My 14-yr-old son researched this event. We bought the tickets months ago and drove two hours to see it. He was so disappointed in how few of the Manchester United starting line-up were actually there. It was a fun event, but certainly lacked the excitement of the last exhibition game we saw (Real Madrid V Barcelona at Soldier's Field in Chicago). Lincoln Financial Field is easy to get to and is surrounded by parking, but can anyone explain why they have so few traffic attendants directing flow out of these lots? It must have taken us 45 minutes to move the quarter of mile to get on major thoroughfare after the match.

My son (7) and I had a great time at the game. Both teams played hard even though it was a pre-season game for Man U. Except for the drunk and disorderly Philly fans (what's new), the experience was great.

I attended the match with my sons and thier friend. The Linc is a great place and our seats were good. Manu U actually put some of their talent onto the field in the second half which really changed the game. Since I'm not the same sports enthusiast as my kids, I would have liked a little music or something layered in. Even during half time, the entertainment atmosphere was not great. But, all in all, it was a really good night with my boys.

It was nice to see a Team from England we normally don't have the oppertunity to see on a regular basis. The game was competitive although not with the urgency a league game that matttered would have engendered.

although the final was only 1-0. the man u vs union game was awesome. man u dominated the entire game. the score should of been off the chain however mis-cues and decent defense from union prevented that. in the first half alone if man u would of unloaded 3 secs sooner union defender would not of slid in front of ball. i do have to admit though union did play a better game than i thought they would of and had some miss opportunities in scoring.

The exhibition game on July 21 in Philadelphia between Manchester United and Philadelphia Union was a great game in an exceptional venue. Little bit of confusion between the ushers as to when gates would open, couldn't bring in my vuvuzela (at a soccer game? Really?),but apart from that, met some great fans and watched a well played game. All the red shirts really made it feel like you were at Old Trafford (United's stadium in England). Will definitely go next time they tour the U.S. Soccer fans of any club would not be disappointed in a game I saw Wednesday night. Highly, highly recommended.

While my seats were pretty high up, it was still a great view to watch the game. 44,000+ viewers were there and it was a good game. Watching a Man U game was a wonderful opportunity, and all those who are interested in soccer should go see them during this 2010 tour. For future reference to those who are attending games at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia for whatever reason, give yourself plenty of time to get there. Getting into the city can take longer than expected, and make sure that you get directions to the correct field! My friend and I were led to a ghetto baseball field by accident....

Awesome football match. Manchester United struggled a bit at first against this new MLS team but in the end won it. I was happy that my favorite player, Ryan Giggs, played for the whole 90 minutes. I wish Manchester United would come back to the US more often. You can't beat the atmosphere seeing United at Old Trafford but seeing them in the States is a close second!

Went to the game tonight with my family, it was a 16th Bday for my son and 21st Bday for my daughter, along with my wife they're huge Man U fans. They were speechless when they came out onto the field. We would like to thank Man U and those at the Link for having this game. If you were one of those people who thought about going, Boy you missed a hell of a chance once in a life time to see the most valuable franchiese team in the world. You could tell they are the best by just watching them pass and their field positioning. Union was extremely lucky to have this team they're can use this as a guide to see and feel what its like to play against a legendary team. Again thanks, this was truely a remarkable night that my family wont every forget!!! Go REDS!! Yes I'm also a Union fan!

I understand there are alot of Man U fans all over the world, so i'm not complaining about the amount of fans there wearing red and cheering for them. But what was the deal with the Linc acting like the Union were the visiting team? Man U advertisements everywhere. Selling Man U merch in a philadelphia stadium. Even at the end they announced "Manchester United & The Philadelphia Eagles thank you for attending." What was that? Not even a mention of the Union? I know it's the Eagles stadium but the Union were the team on the field. Very dissapointed in the presentation by the Linc.

Although I am one of the few Philadelphia Union fans, I was expecting Manchester United to mop the field with my team. Amazingly, the "Boys of Ben" held their own and played 92 minutes of Word Class Soccer and only gave up 1 goal for a 0-1 loss. Oh yeah...the facilities were very nice and clean as well and the fans were polite. (stop laughing...I'm serious!)

Really fun event. Man Utd seasoned players did their best to NOT score, but place the younger players in a position to do so. There was some really nice football all round. The Union did well and almost scored on two occasions. the crowd as the usual Philadelphia crowd (mix of really fun people, with some really not so fun people). The Union's opponent was terrible. Something to keep in mind for future matches, since after all, Jacksonville wants this to be a big thing. The crowd was small, which was disappointing. The play on the pitch was mostly terrible, which was somewhat to be expected, but still even more disappointing. I thought when Philly subbed their starters in the match in the 75th minute, the play would be better and there would be a goal. Sadly this was not the case. My suggestion for the future would be a higher-profile team, and both teams not keeping their reserves in the match for so long.

The tickets were what I thought that they would be, as they were on the field. The ambience from the crowd was good as well. There were some problems that I had with how it was run. Since this was a soccer game, the Linc personnel seemed to treat it as an afterthought, since it was NOT Eagles football. The security was a bit ridiculous, bothering many people for nonsensical things, such as my bag being too close to the advertising boards on the field, (although on the grass and only obstructing myself if anyone), and not permitting people to hang signs on the railings, which is traditional at soccer games. With a World Cup bid looming and the potential to capitalize on the increasing amount of international teams that are touring the U.S., this attitude will surely result in lost opportunities for the Linc, as well as the greater Philadelphia area.

Going to the Philadelphia Union - Manchester United MLS/Premier League Match at Lincoln Financial Field was an amazing experience. It was intriguing to see what the rest of the world call football in a diehard American football stadium, such as the Philadelphia Eagles home field. The transformation of the stadium into a soccer arena was seamless and after coming off the global rush of the 2010 FIFA World Cup; it was almost like getting to see one of those games (without all the vuvuzelas)! I felt like it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see my hometown team (the Union) take on "the NY Yankees of Soccer" and in the end--even though we lost 1-0--it was an exciting match!

My first time to Philly to see a sporting event was great. I never knew that Financial Field was right next to where the Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers all play. ManU did not disappoint with a 1-0 victory over the Philadelphia Union. Surprisingly the Union put on a good game against one of England's best team. I was happy to see (finally) the team that my grandfather played for in the 20's in person.

I brought my daughter, who is six years old and loves soccer, to this game. The seats were good, I was very happy with the price of tickets for the value of the seats. The game was terrific, very exciting and my daughter and I had a lot of fun. The only drawback was, as is at *most* Philly sports events I've been to, the cursing and fighting amongst men in the stands. One actually got arrested that was sitting a few rows behind us. At one point, the yelling and fighting between spectators got so bad, it scared my daughter and she started crying as she thought someone was going to get hurt. I realize that it's a sporting event, but I don't believe that gives anyone permission to act out of line. It's sad that you have to worry about taking your kids to sporting events these days. Anyway, other than that the game was great! :)

Great experience to watch an english team come play in america, wish i would have gotten seats 10 rows up though, the moron in front of me jumped out of his seat every 30 seconds.

My dad and I attended this game for his 60th birthday, and it was a blast. We sat in the club seats, which I highly recommend, as we had a great view even in the corner.

P-UNION vs MANCHESTER UNITED was a great game from the beginning to end! It was great to see one of soccer's greatest teams playing live here in Philadelphia! The atmosphere was great and so were the players!

Great game and great seats. Both sides performed up to expectations. Highways cannot handle more than six cars at any one time. Hopefully the stadium in Chester does a better job of getting the fans home.

I have attended two extra Union games and I do not like that they play the starters for the first half and reserves in the second half. The quality in the game drops off dramatically with the reserves and I paid what I think is a lot of money to see quality soccer. I will not buy these type of tickets again.

Overall this was a great event to attend. Philadelphia did a great job at accommodating Manchester United and their fans. It was interesting to see how many more Manchester United fans were there than Philadelphia Union. The seats from ticket master were very good, right behind the Manchester United bench.

Thriced
Although the United fans weren't in full voice - I blame the supporters being spread out among the Union fans, it was still good to see the next generation of players get a run out with a few of the senior players.

We have been Man U fans for several years. it was wonderful to see them in person. However, I was also happy to see that the Philly Union held their own and played a good match. I hope this is the beginning for many good things to come for the Union. The Linc staff members were kind and helpful despite high humidity, temps in the upper 90's and many fans who had never been to the stadium. Leaving the parking lots after the match was a disaster. The additonal gates were not opened and the bridge was down to 1 lane making the trip home quite long. Also, the ticket prices were quite high keeping some would be fans from attending. It seems they could have drastically discounted tickets for the upper level to give additonal people an oppertunity to attend.

What a great experience. I took my 6 year old son and we both had a fantastic time. Seeing United in America is a unique experience. We follow them throughout the Football season and consider it a highlight of our summer to watch them play live.

This was a great venue...Lincoln Financial Field has a small stadium feel with all the amenities. The ticket prices were reasonable and the whole day seemed like a bargain compared to what I have paid for other events. However, next time I wouldn't choose to sit in the Fan Club section...these fans were extra committed to the team and my 13 year old daughter ended up with a larger four letter vocabulary by the end of the match.

The game itself was incredible but it took almost 2 hours just trying to get out of the parking lot whcih is unheard of. I have been to a large number of games down there but never something like that,
