blink-182

Pop-punk rockers blink-182 had a stronghold on late ‘90s airwaves with alternative radio favorites like “All the Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again?,” and according to Hoppus in a December 2013 interview with BBC radio, they’re at it again. The pop-punk trio has plans to unveil a follow-up to 2009’s “Neighbourhoods” sometime in 2014.   The dynamic San Diego area band, comprised of singer/bassist Mark Hoppus, singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker, emerged from the Southern California punk scene in the mid ‘90s with their debut album, “Cheshire Cat.” That release, coupled with their energetic live performances, landed them concerts alongside NOFX and Pennywise as part of the Warped Tour in their early days.

The Venue was a good size and nice and cool. As for Blink, I have no words to even describe how amazing they were. They played a ton of songs from albums 3 and 4, and mostly all their hits. They also played songs from their most recent album, California. I would highly recommend it and also I am thinking about going back for a second show before the residency is over.

I traveled from LA to Vegas specifically to see Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Matt Skiba take the stage away. It truly brought me immense happiness as I can see Mark s smile while performing. Travis drumming never fails to amaze me. Matt s singing brings me chills because it s a great addition to the song. Venue was really great, easy directions. Perfect venue for a band to see up close. May I add, I also got a huge pretzel at the concert!!

The music was great. I did not enjoy the lights. Many times I could not even see the artists face or take pictures. I felt cheated. We traveled to another state for this concert and most of the time the lights were too bright to enjoy it.

Blink 182's reunion concert was absolutely amazing! Any who has the chance to go should go or will regret it forever! Not only was the music amazing (as always) but Mark, Tom, and Travis were comedic in between the songs to keep the crowd going! Although I had bad seats ( at the very back of the balcony), it didn't even bother me! It was an unforgettable night/performance/experience! Don't miss out!

Ever since I wasn't able to see them on their Dollar Bill club tour like 6 or so years ago, I have made it a life goal to see Blink 182 live JUST because of how influential this band has been in my life. So I was so stoked to hear them touring again. Despite the fact that they played a lot of songs from their self-titled CD, their show was AWESOME. I've been to a lot of concerts and this was by far in the top two right next to bob dylan. They have so much energy for being as old as they are and it was great. It was so amazing to just feed off of their energy and dance around to their timeless songs. And the drum solo was amazing! They didn't play M&Ms at my date which was a bummer but so many other good songs were played that I was satisfied. They were definitely worth the 6 hour drive to Vegas from San Diego. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

THIS WAS A GREAT CONCERT, NOT VERY AMUSED BY THE OPENING BANDS HOWEVER, BLINK 182 KILLED. THE FLOOR WAS NUTS, ONE COULD BARELY STAND IN YOUR FEET WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT. MOSH PIT WAS ALMOST TO MUCH TO ENJOY THE SHOW, BUT THEN AGAIN THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT CRAZY AND FUN. FAVORITE PART WAS WHEN TRAVIS CAME IN WITH THE SOLO DRUMS, AND THE JAY Z REMIX.

This concert was like reliving the early 2000's. Blink now led by Matt Skiba may not be the same without Tom, but is damn near close. Enjoyed every minute of the show and the presentation was incredible. Lighting, fireworks, flames, confetti, and a beautiful panoramic videoboard.

First let me say I am not your typical Blink 182 fan. I started taking my now 28 year old daughter to see Blink 182 when she was 11 . After the first show I was a fan . We always go to the shows when they come around .She brings a friend , I bring my husband . Always a great show . Travis is so talented. One of the best drummers out there. A little different without Tom . Still amazing .

This is my 5th time seeing Blink. I've seen them in 2005, 2009, and twice in 2011. Although I am sad to see Tom out of the band (of his own crazy, alien-seeking accord) I am equally as happy to see Matt Skiba join the band. Tom just didn't perform well live but he was great for the banter with Mark. Matt is the polar opposite - no banter, but a hell of a musician. Love him in Alkaline Trio and love him in Blink. I can say with confidence this was my favorite show of Blink's as for the first time in my fandom I was able to afford a VIP package and I didn't skimp. I got the top tier and got to meet my musical heroes and I have no regrets of the cost. One of the best experiences of my life. I will be seeing this tour again in Indy on Sept. 10.

Okay, I have to say that I have been waiting to see blink for over 17 years, so this was literally a dream come true. The show was amazing! The energy was great, the crowd was pumped, and I just loved everything about it! They played all great old songs, a few new ones, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. I am still sad thinking about the fact that it is over. And I wasn't even missing Tom. It was as incredible as I could have imagined. I'm ready for the next show!

This was my first time at chesapeke arena and it was great! The seats in section 330 are awesome for cheap seats and the acoustics at the arena are incredible. All american rejects were absolutely awful. I used to love them in high school but wow, they are bad live. They should probably quit. I've never listened to a day to remember but they had a great and fun Performanice with beach balls and toilet paper rolls. I was skeptical about Matt skiba joining blink 182 but I was blown away. They put on an amazing show. The lighting during this shoe was also really good.

The show started out with All American Rejects who played all of their top songs, but had a short 30 minute set. The breaks between the bands were a little long, but gave you plenty of time to refill and go to the bathroom. Once A Day to Remember came on we were blown away! Their show was so much fun and interactive. Even if you didn't know their songs you could still jump around and enjoy what was going on. Blink had a great show as well playing all of their top old songs and some of their new songs. Their show had a ton of pyrotechnics and Mark was very interactive with the crowd. I loved Matt when he was with Alkaline Trio and he held his own with Blink. I would definitely recommend seeing this show!

I've seen blink before, but this was going to be my first time seeing them with Matt Skiba. They sure didn't disappoint, Matt is excellent I love his voice live and he seems genuinely happy to be playing with blink. This is the first time I actually ended up in the front row for a blink show, and it was unforgettable. They sounded great, their setlist was excellent. I'll never forget it, it is an amazing tour nobody should miss it! The visuals are beautiful as well, It really brings this new blink album to life. They mostly play old songs, but of course they also play just enough of the new songs! All in all everyone should go check out this tour you will not be disappointed at all!

Seeing Blink 182 was one of the best experiences. Matt Skiba did a WONDERFUL job. Seeing Mark hop around was the best and watching Travis do his godly things on the drums was unbelievable. The venue was great, minus the extreme amount of sweating because it was SO hot and outside. It's the sacrifice we make as punks to wear all dark colors during June. Plenty of security, an occasional wiff of weed, and plenty of drinking. A typical concert atmosphere, but so much better with everyone singing along to every song. 100/10, would see again. :)

For all the people bashing the band for continuing without Tom...the only thing you have is your opinion because they sound absolutely PHENOMENAL with Skiba. If you're on the fence about catching a show this summer, do it. Don't wait. It's worth every penny and then some for Blink alone.

Concert was amazing! Blink played acoustic session and brought back Adam Song. You could see the emotions in their faces when they played Adam song, that wasn t easy. Expect pyro, fog, and confetti. The PALMS staff seemed confused and disorganized. Received an email that VIP check in was at 7 no later than 7:45 but they wouldn t let any VIPs enter until 7:45 giving us only a 15 minute headstart and a line to wait for our vip gear. Hopefully the staff start to figure it out as the series continues. That was my only headache, I wouldn t have shown up as early had I known we couldn t get in at 7. I definitely recommend all those Blink fans make the trip and see the show. This is my fourth show and it was better than the shows on the last tour. We got there 2 hours early and got front row. What was really the icing on the cake was after the show Mark Hoppus walked right off stage and right up to us and gave my husband his guitar pick, he also took a selfie with us. Blink-182 is the greatest pop-punk band of all time. Although I should admit I am biased due to Blink being my favorite band. The on stage chemistry is fantastic, the special effects were spectacular, and each song feels personally performed just for you. The only downside of course is the fact founding member Tom Delonge is no longer involved, yet new member Matt Skiba more than holds his own.

Briefly their selection for opening bands was amazing! DJ Spider is fun and cool despite nobody really giving him much attention. All American Rejects were super awesome and put on a hell of a show given how far they fell from radio darlings to 20 1st opener. A Day To Remember gives you 120% with energy, neat stage set-up, and audience participation...wish I'd known their songs so I could sing along too! As for Blink, the main attraction, they were amazing! I was really worried given Tom was kicked out of the band and last two times I'd seen them they weren't as fun and carefree as back in the Dude Ranch, Enema of the State, or Take Off Your Pants era. They had the same energy and enthusiasm as always but I was disappointed that Matt Skiba, the new guy from Alkaline Trio taking over for Tom, was so quiet and didn't seem interested in engaging his new fans at all. Mark had a smile most of the night but a few times it seemed it was just for show, not sure if he was tired or someone upset him before hand or what but he just seemed off. Travis on the drums was on point all damn night, like Mark said at one point his "drummer is better than your drummer" and it shows (although he didn't do his drumming upside down gimmick from the last few shows I'd seen). All the hits were played as well as some new stuff (Los Angeles was great!) but I felt their encore was rushed and Damnit didn't have the extreme pop punk energy that it always had in tours past. All in all I'd say the show was a great time, definitely nice to see these guys back to work again after so long on hiatus but I hope next time they let Matt Skiba talk more and it wouldn't hurt to play an Alkaline Trio song to pay homage to his other band which we all love as much as we love Blink. B+ or 3.5/5 stars or 70/100 or whatever rating you want...it was hella good but not as good as they were with Tom.

I really went for a Day to Remember. My favorite band, but Blink 182 was amazing. Would so see them again. The taco bell arena surprised me with the sound.

Any fan of Blink 182 should definitely take advantage of an opportunity to see them live. While I missed Tom and his iconic voice, Matt Skiba was great and seemed to really vibe well with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker. Blink's stage set up was probably the most impressive that I've seen at any concert. While I'm not a fan of A Day to Remember, their stage set up was incredibly impressive and they interacted with fans which was nice. I loved the All American Rejects. Tyson Ritter was AWESOME. I loved the energy that he performed with. All in all It was a really fun throwback to the music and performers that I have loved for years and years.

First off, the openers were trash (in my opinion). I came to see the punk band that invented pop punk, not emo, metal, or house music. Blink-182, my favorite band of all time, killed it. It's not the same without Tom, but Skiba makes a great addition, especially as a live performer. It was also a hell of an inspiration as a drummer to see Travis Barker, the GOAT, in the flesh. Overall, it was a blast to sing along to the whole set with my friends and the Klipsch Music Center made for a great place for the concert. It was easy to see and hear the band and I would absolutely recommend going here to see any performer.

Blink 182 was amazing. Their high energy show was packed with pyrotechnics and some amazing lighting. Hearing Matt Skiba sing old songs was awesome. Mark and Travis were both full of energy and were very fun to watch. Mark, Travis & Matt all looked like they were having a genuinely great time on stage. Each could be seen smiling and laughing the whole time. A Day To Remember was a great choice for an opening act. Their set was pure chaotic bliss. All American Rejects were very entertaining as well. Their set list was pretty short but they played all their hits. This tour was on of the best shows I have seen in a long time.

What a show. All American Rejects were a good crowd pleaser. Brought someone from the lawn onto the stage and placed them in the pit for the remainder of the concert. A Day to Remember was very energetic and their onstage presence and set was amazing. Blink of course stole the show, minus the presence of Tom, but Matt filled in quite well. Mark and Travis were spot on. Their on stage visuals were incredible. A massive led screen with stunning effects. 3D movie at one time. Wish I had my glasses. They played the songs people love, and even their new songs didn't disappoint. Their crowd interaction was hilarious. See them if you can get the chance.

My daughters and I enjoyed the show and venue very much. I'd go again. We upgraded our seats though. I don't think I would have been able to see well enough in the back GA section.

I've seen the band twice in the past, so I knew how fun their concert experience would be, even with a new singer in Tom Delonge's place, Matt Skiba. Got a floor ticket, to get the full Blink 182 experience. Opener A Day to Remember were really cool; they brought the moshing and energetic pop punk, which got the crowd ready for Blink. Blink played all their songs with verve and swagger; all three members appeared to be enjoying themselves. Overall it was a night I'll never forget.

This was my 5th time seeing Blink 182 (first time seeing them with Matt Skiba) and I must say I was impressed at how great of a show they put on once again. I think the only downfall was that I absolutely love Tom's voice and the contrast between his and Mark's vocals is very noticeable (with Matt Skiba not as much). I also wish Matt would get a little more involved in the entertainment portion (moving around, rocking out, interacting with the audience) but hopefully, that will change as time goes on and he becomes more comfortable performing with Blink. Great, show guys! <3

Blink 182 was awesome in concert and Matt Skiba fits in to their original sound perfectly but also adds his own new element to the band as well. Hawthorne Heights was a phenomenal opener and was much more personable than Blink themselves. H.H addressed the audience and engaged them in banter then stuck around after the show, met fans and even signed autographs whereas Blink came out, played (a great show) but never addressed the audience and after the last song rushed out so fast nobody was really sure the show was over until the lights came on.

Sooo much fun!!! Took me back 20 years. Jumped up and down and danced the entire show. The crowd was great too! And the confetti in the end was fun. Still love these guys after all these years. Mark was always my favorite anyway and I've always loved Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio. He did a terrific job filling in!!!

This was by far the best concert I've ever been to. Blink 182 put on a great show no only with the music but with all of their humor and stories. I'm a huge Blink 182 fan and this only made me love the band more. My date also had a great time. Can't wait for the next show near me. You can bet I'll be there

Went to the show last year and look forward to the one next year. Meeting Matt and Kim was the cherry on top of the concert sundae. New beat fund handed out free demos and took pictures. Absolutely amazing.

Feels like Mark doesn't like to do concerts anymore. Tom and Travis still rock. Crowd at front of stage was horrid. They pushed and shoved the whole time trying to claw to the front. I couldn't really enjoy the show with the monkeys constantly pushing against me, worst time I had at a concert, people just aren't civil anymore and only care about themselves. Marks mic was jacked up the entire show I could barely hear him. I told the sound guys and they just nodded...arrogant bastards can't even do sound right so I can hear. Really cool location, best I've ever been to for a concert. Wish I woulda paid for mez tickets.

missed the first act. wish I'd missed the second act. don't know why New politics was on the bill. very forgettable. Atlas Genius seemed to be out of place. they need to headline but to a different crowd. again very forgettable at this show. would have been better show as a headliner. What can I say about Blink 182? really stole the show. great set. good song list. made up for the first three acts. maybe the only down side of Blinks set was could of had more cowbell. no I mean more volume. Travis' drums needed to be louder. but all in all a very good show.

Blink always puts on a good show whether Tom is drunk or not. My only complaint was that they allowed the kid in the wheelchair to be so close to the stage when everyone is pushing each other around. It was my 3rd time seeing Blink and first time seeing Four Year Strong and both were great! I didn't care for the first band AT ALL. They were horrible.

One of the greatest nights! I loved the energy and how many people got into the music, but I don't like how people elbow me in the face and chest. Other than that the whole time I was living it up!

Hard to believe this band has been playing for over 20 years. They still rock as well as when I first saw them in the 90's. Was a little disappointed in the opening acts, but Blink 182 exceeded all my expectations.
