IT was my first time seeing her live. Mo'nique performed outstanding. I enjoyed her jokes and even her clowning back with the audience. (B*$%^). She looks great just as she always do, but the only concern I had was one hour for 85.00 dollars (OMG). I wish she would had stayed on a little longer, just to say people were still walking in. The other comedians were funny too. I Love her when she tell her stories of how hard it is and most (people) don't see it like that. Thinking just cause a sister is surviving that she is ROLLING that's not always the case . So from one sister to another keep your head up and finish what you were set out to do, make a sister girl laugh. HA HA HA LOL

Mo'nique was as always simply amazing. She commanded the stage. She had us laughing from the time she walked on to the stage until the time she left the stage. After the show Mo'nique took pictures with people and let me tell you "Baby" she was laughing and dancing with folks...but the most amazing part was that when you finally did get to meet her, she gave a hug, not just any ole' hug I mean a hug like she has been knowing you her whole life. She is a real, humble, and down to earth person. Mo'nique will always have support from the N.O.

This event was great, but just the appearence of Monique made the event amazing. I brought front row seats and she was worth every penny I spent. Even though this was a comedy show, Monique delivered more than comedy, Monique is REAL! She speaks from the heart and don't cut any corners. Not to mention her love for New Orleans, and guess what . . . We love her back. This woman is a woman whom so many people admire and is a living proof that all things are possible. She will always have my support in whatever she adventures out to do in the future. I look forward to her new movie comming to theaters soon. This is my 3rd time viewing Monique at the Apollo & each time the show is suppose to start at 8pm the DJ plays music for almost n hour before her opening Comic (Tone X) tells jokes. Then when Monique does come on well after 9pm her jokes are always about her life from a child to an adult & how excellent her husband Sidney is. If every year this is her comedy to tell same story bout her life then I ll Pass next year.

I had been to the Venue before but it was not for an event type set up. The seats were a decent size and getting in and out the aisle was a little tight but doable for a slightly over average size person. The stairs were solidly stable and marked well. As for the show, I was pleasantly surprised. All three comedians were great! I wasn't sure what we were going to get with Monique since it has been a while since I have seen her but she addressed the drama, let us in on some stuff (that went a little long in places) but overall, ishe was good. Arnez J keeps his physical comedy fresh as you could get tired of his antics but he finds new ways to bring it into his act. Tony X (?) opened up for them and he had us crying from beginning to end. We really enjoyed it!

I am 29 male. I got the tickets for a loved one for Mother's Day. The show was definitely raunchy with funny moments. She is on stage for 45 minutes speaking on topics like Felacio, being in an open marriage, how oprah, Tyler perry and lee Daniels are sell outs to their race. I love her personality but couldn't relate to her experiences. The headliners were funny and spoke on relatable topics:religion, politics.. I wish she delivered for more time.

I had a great time at this show. Lots of local comedians opened up the show and they were all very good as well. But Gary Owen and Arnez J could have left Monique and Charlie Murphy at home as far as I am concerned. They clearly stole the show! My stomach was still hurting the next day but Monique was "The Headliner" I guess and we left while she was still on stage. She does look great though...she lost about 100 lbs.

Would Def pay to see her again. She has such a big heart & is as real as it gets. I appreciate the time she took to meet & greet with her fans after the show Def wasn't expecting that. Looks great!! Still talking about Lee, Tyler, Oprah, and now Charlemagne has been added to the mix. On top of that, the show started an hour late. It would be nice if she would deal with them off stage and get back to truly doing stand up for her fans. Otherwise it still seems like a venting tour.

The show was one of her best! she was sooo funny and open, on a seriously funny segment she talk about her childhood and then things she under went as a child, and she talked about her 3 husbands and her therapist....after all she went thru (no choice but to see a coconut dr.). I will recomend her show to everyone, she does cus quite a bit but it's funny they way she does it. SHE LOOKS GREAT!!!! The weight loss agrees with her, she looks great!! she was so good that I can't remember the names of her open acts (Sorry).
